Post by Felicity 1st December 2014, 2:22 am

The long coarse grass jerked and danced by the cliff edge, and white foam from the churning sea below flew like scattered snow as the wind whisked it up and away. At the bottom of the steep, rocky drop lay a large sandy beach, the pale yellow grains intermingling with smooth grey pebbles. The gusts of wind whipped up the smooth sand into blinding clouds of grit, as the white foam swirled amongst it, mingling together like storm clouds. The sea, a surging, restless mass was a deep, dull grey-green, stretching out towards the horizon, flecked with frothy white surf, which bobbed and boiled on the surface of this huge cauldron.
Along the coastline stretched a cliff, its dark face harsh against the sea and sky, while the waves and spray were continually dashed against the jagged rocks beneath. A woman's legs dangled from the edge of the cliff, as the crisp, black pant she wore became slightly moist due to the few drops of water that splashed up to a great height. Her feet were naked, toes curling up every now and then, while the official-looking boots that she had happened to wear a little while ago, lay beside her on the cliff. The woman balanced her body in a reclining position on her two hands, while emerald eyes stared up at the pale-blue sky.
Her attire consisted of a loose white shirt and a black tie that lay severely loosened around her neck. A monochrome choice of colors, but of course, due to a valid reason.
Just a couple of hours ago, she was at some mansion in Clover Town; having taken up an assignment to murder the owner of the heavily guarded house. The best way to infiltrate was acting like some staff of the house, so she had picked up a butler's outfit... Yes, a butler's outfit--- there was no way in the world that someone like Aedre Crawford was going to dress up like a maid anyways.
But of course, this kind of picky taste in disguises came with extra expenditure of money and she had to buy some sort of magical hat from Rose Garden that would help to change her hairstyle completely and shorten it so, that it looked like a normal haircut that any male could have.

The job was one of the easiest Aedre had ever undertaken, inspite of the high risks that were said to be involved in it. All she had to do was slip a few drops of lethal poison into her target's cup and... Well, the rest is history.

The white-haired woman had escaped the mansion before anyone could even figure out that the owner was killed and had opted to take a straight route to Serene Cliff; with just an idea of enjoying the sea for a while. Naturally, the Slayer loved being in the vicinity of most water bodies, largely due to the fact that the briny and moist air reminded her of some memorable days from the past.

At the moment, the hat lay beside the boots that she had discarded and all the official vibe from her attire had been destroyed due to the unbuttoning of the cuffs and collar of the shirt that she wore. Her long hair whipped carelessly around, while the woman only drunk deep from the serenity of nature that existed all around her. She barely expected anyone to show up here.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 1st December 2014, 1:08 pm

Akame had recently been through some tough times. Ever since she had felt some sort of advancement in her magic reserve, she was not who she used to be. The Tempest Demon Slayer had been miserable since this very moment, and so, rather than exposing her depression towards the guild, needed to be alone somewhere peaceful. She always had a map handy in case there was somewhere she wished to travel, especially due to her disliking of being homebound. The female skimmed through the map, identifying places that seemed settling, for the time being. The map had shown a great diagram of every landform, and persuaded readers with thorough imagery. Akame left her finger on one part of the map: the Serene Cliffs. Akame wondered about this particular area, and so she requested a profile of the landform, itself.

Moments later, Akame found herself manipulating the wind surrounding her to lift her high up in the sky, able to get a bird's eye view of many places within Fiore. She flew across the landforms, and focused deeply on the Serene Cliffs. Though there was not much to the landscape, the environment itself seemed peaceful, and so Akame had made her final decision; to visit. Utilizing the wind again, Akame gently descended upon the ground fifty feet away from the cliffs. The wind was soothing here, while the weather setting generally seemed befitting for the Slayer. However, upon her visit, Akame saw a woman sitting silently upon one of the cliffs. By the looks of it, she seemed highly concentrated on her surroundings, though Akame could not guarantee this solely by looking from behind the woman.

Akame hesitated to introduce herself to the fellow female, though she also felt like the lady needed some company. On the contrary, this was just Akame's theory of people; never should they be alone. This theory ultimately told Akame to approach the female, but not too quietly to scare her. Akame gently walked towards the woman, though upon her attempt to reach Aedre, she tripped on a rock, and fell over. "Ow!" Akame shouted in a soft tone, saddened that this action probably alarmed the lady. Albeit, Akame looked up to the sky, and saw that her surroundings were ones to enjoy. "Amazing..." Akame commented, "I wish I could live in a place like this." Akame was sure her words had grabbed the attention of the woman ahead by now, though she could be wrong. Even so, Akame was in full comfort, aside from her fall. The Serene Cliffs met all of her preferences.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 2nd December 2014, 10:23 pm

Aedre was thoroughly enjoying herself; she had found out that spending time alone within the lap of nature allowed her to connect to the larger universe and restore her spirit in the hurried age that the mages of Fiore lived in. It was not a new or recent lesson she had learnt, but instead a habit or liking that she had developed in her early years of training as a Slayer. The simple act of sitting on some cliff, watching the waves of the sea clashing against the shore and listening to the wind move through leaves filled her with a beautiful sense of solitude and bliss. Her priorities became clearer, obligations seemed less pressing and her mind grew still. Communing with nature was also a great way to unlock creativity and generate new ideas. Natural surroundings served to stifle the endless chatter that filled up people's mind; so that true brilliance can be liberated.

These simple blessings were the reasons that drove the white-haired woman to spend more and more time like this. She was not used to vibrant surroundings and exuberant people anyways- thanks to her residence being the grim citadel of Savage Skull, that nestled deep within the Spooky Forest. But still, a little time in open air made her feel better- much better. However, she wouldn't be able to enjoy that kind of bliss--- but instead, some sort of company.

The sudden yelp of pain had not only startled the one who was hurt, but also Aedre- and she had nearly jerked herself away from her current position as an instinctive reaction. Her usually calm demeanor had been shaken quite badly, yet she recovered in the space of a heartbeat. Emerald hues observed the blonde lady who seemed like she had just suffered a trip-over and fell down. The Slayer's eyebrows scrunched up a bit, but albeit the confusion she was capable enough of processing the next words spoken by this stranger- something about how she'd like to live in a place similar to the Serene Cliffs.

For a second, Aedre wasn't very sure how to react to that; of course, the woman had grabbed her attention in quite an extravagant (and accidental) fashion, but seemed pretty harmless as well. So, with just a little hint of hesitation in her voice, the woman asked what any normal human being would ask in such a situation, "You alright?" However, a pang of embarrassment did hit her, while an unsettling doubt made its way into her mind; pertaining if her question was actually normal. You see, Aedre barely had such encounters with people; thanks to the fact that her day included waking up, taking up some job, murdering or kidnapping some damned person and then getting back to the Guild. Somewhere in all of that mess, she found some time for herself and chose a place where there won't be many people around and she could just unwind herself.

Her eyes turned back towards the sea and she gave no hints of helping the other lady up from the ground--- afterall, she strongly believed that people should pick themselves up on their own strength. 'Cause if Aedre were in the place of this woman and someone would've tried to help her up... Well, let's say that the helper wouldn't be pleased with the woman's reaction. No matter how normal people behaved and chose to help, Aedre wouldn't. She had some strong set of convictions that she lived by.

'Oh, crap.' Aedre cursed within her head, as she noticed that her right hand with the Savage Skull insignia was completely visible at the moment. It would mean trouble if the other female happened to see it- so with a smooth movement of her other hand, the Slayer removed a black, finger-less glove from the pocket of her pant and quickly pulled it up over her tattooed hand. Hopefully, the lady was too busy getting herself up or dusting herself to have noticed. Otherwise... this moment could turn bloody. She made a quick decision to cover her little error up and stray away the stranger's attention with something else, "You wouldn't actually want to live here- the closest facilities are miles away in the cities. Besides, even this kind of beauty won't make up for the loneliness in such a desolate place, right?" Aedre spoke, placing a strategic question within her words, while observing the blonde from the corner of her eye. There was definitely some thought process at work behind her words- working along the lines that the new person had a very friendly and warm personality. This was concluded solely from the fact that no one would come anywhere near a stranger (in this case, Aedre) in such a place; unless they loved to communicate and make friends or meant serious business. This time, the latter option was pretty much in the dumps in Aedre's eyes.

Speaking about the other woman's reactions, there were two events that could take place now. Either she would offer some reply or she'd come up with the normal bull-shit people blabbered when they discovered Aedre's true identity and loyalties. It was all left up to luck... that is, if luck even existed in the first place.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 5th December 2014, 7:57 pm

Akame slowly rose up to her feet while she caught the attention of a cute young woman ahead of her. She felt slightly embarrassed, blushing a bit while she tried to stand upright after the fall. "I'm okay...thanks!" Akame replied, easing off the pain. She swept her hand over her clothes to remove the dust, and wiped her hands together to get rid of the dirt, entirely. Akame had never lost her pace so easily before- perhaps it was due to the beauty of the Serene Cliffs. Albeit, Akame was fine at this point, and had nothing to lose. Her sheathe was still firmly attached to her light pants, while the sword rested gracefully inside. She could sense a great presence of magic somewhere along her field of vision, though Akame did not bother questioning it. She had just encountered this girl, after all, so jumping into a sudden interview would not seem so cool, would it? Lots of thoughts entered Akame's head as to what she should do next, though only one strong idea came to mind; a simple introductory statement. "My name is Akame. How're you?" Akame greeted. She wondered what the girl must have thought of her poor first impression- that damn fall.

While Akame was perfectly repositioned in her upright position, she could see past Aedre, briefly noticing the gentle waves below the cliffs. They were so calm and collected; a sensation Akame always wanted to feel, personally. She was really eager to discover more about this place until this new face brought up a good point. By the looks of it, this woman seemed very intelligent, able to tell the conditions of one area based on nature, alone. "I suppose you're right." Akame admitted, "I guess I'm just living in my ideals." Every person, regardless of gender, had to fantasize sometimes. Akame believed there was a wonderland for everyone, but had yet to discover her own. An utopia was what Akame looked forward to living in, though that would not be for a long time- or at least hopefully so. Akame hoped to live every minute the creator of this universe granted her, and to not be removed from this world due to some turn of fortunate events. Beyond what everyone ever thought, fate was the strongest force to ever exist. Absolutely everything was built upon it, and could be changed even if mankind united into one. Whatever fate decided would determine the future of everyone- the world is omnipotent.

Akame held out her hand in addition to her greeting. "You seemed to be embracing this beautiful area before I fell over. I hope my actions did not ruin it for you." Akame added. She hoped to earn the woman's respect, and forget that accident responsible for breaking Aedre's peace. Akame always appreciated having company wherever she went, so having even someone as new as Aedre by Akame's side would be beneficial to her. On the other hand, she hoped to be a great addition to Aedre's adventures, as well. All she required was a name and 'hello' back for this encounter to be swell.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 6th December 2014, 9:25 am

The woman introduced herself as Akame, then proceeded onto state that she was just living by her ideals. Her reply brought forth a gentle smile on Aedre's face, as she stared ahead into the waves of the sea; being amused by the idea of the sheer variety of people who lived on Earth. She was reminded of the kind of differences between people, their personalities, their choices, their so-called ideals and a kabillion other things. The differences were the base reason for conflict, but was also the reason of suspense and interest. It would have been a boring world if everyone would have been the same. Maybe, just maybe, Aedre would have been a goody-two-shoes as well- provided that that would be the standard for a world where everyone was identical when it came to thought processes. There was a faint darkness in this diversity, but there was much more beauty that overshadowed it.
Lost deep in her own web of thoughts, Aedre was brought back to reality when Akame spoke once again; expressing some sort of regret for her actions and the way it affected Aedre. She also sensed that there was a friendly handshake waiting for her.

With a barely noticeable nod to herself, the woman pulled up her legs which were previously dangling over the edge of the cliff and stood up, so that she'd tower just a bit over the other woman. The action was only fueled by the fact that the woman didn't enjoy being at a lower ground from other people. Biological height was one thing, but positions were another; and they mattered. Besides, the trouble of looking up always turned out to be straining for her neck. Of course, this action was nothing but a subconscious reaction and not at all planned or thought about; just a part of Aedre's personalities and preferences.

She dusted off her pants lightly, before proceeding to meet Akame's eyes and returning the friendly gesture offered by her. As she shook hands, Aedre introduced herself as casually as the other woman did, "Aedre."

She backed her hand away quickly though, placing it within the pocket of her pants, her eyes giving a fleeting glance to the sea once again. The reason why Aedre let the handshake be so short-lived was because she was just not used to such friendly behavior. Handshakes for her were nothing more than a gesture of accepting a deal- for that was what she grew up witnessing within the Crawford household and that's what she still followed with her clients. The last time a friendly handshake was done--- the white-haired woman barely had any such memory.

"Nah--- that doesn't bother me much. Its a habit of mine to come here often, so not indulging in the beauty for one day won't do me any harm." Aedre spoke, offering a reply to Akame's insignificant little worry. But, soon after that, she let an awkward silence to reign for about half a minute, not realizing that she needed to start some sort of proper conversation with this person who had approached her so casually and easily. To be honest, Aedre appreciated this quality within people; something she didn't possess herself, but still admired. In her eyes, it was almost a superhuman power, to approach a person and talk to them without stumbling over your own words. Replying was one thing, but initiation of a talk was another... and much difficult.

"If I'm not wrong, you're a mage... and a Slayer at that-" She stated, having noticed the scent and magical aura around Akame a while ago and realizing that it was probably the only link that connected her with this lady. "-Belong to any guild?" She questioned, just curious to know who she was actually dealing with when it came to the alignment spectrum.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 6th December 2014, 1:16 pm

Akame felt a force similar to her own magic when she shook hands with this new Mage in front of her. "Aedre. That's a nice name!" Akame commented, "It's a pleasure to meet you!" Akame was glad a stranger managed to approach her like this. She had encountered strangers who ran away whenever she tried to be friendly, or even other Mages who left her aside when she tried to introduce herself. However, this person was different. The fellow female seemed to care enough to welcome Akame, despite being completely unfamiliar with her from the start. This quick sign of tolerance gave Akame a hint of Aedre's personality, though she was curious to learn more about her. She could see Aedre did not like to show her affection that much as the handshake only lasted for a second or two, with no real feelings behind it. Akame was glad this woman was different from her, however, or else things wouldn't be as interesting. Akame was used to meeting people similar to her in personality, but she always hoped to see someone who lived a lifestyle much different from her own.

While Aedre began to speak once again, Akame's smile became warmer. It was good to see someone who liked to enjoy their life this way; always in good areas such as this, where everything was peaceful and dazzling to the naked eye. The Serene Cliffs, according to Akame's reaction, were definitely the most outstanding landform she had ever come across. On the other hand, Akame heard there were other places that surpassed this in beauty, and so she looked forward to meeting these particular spots. That aside, all Akame wanted to do at this point was to see if she could make a new friend. She hoped things would turn out well, though many things in life cannot be predicted. On the contrary, while Akame wished to observe Aedre, it seemed Aedre identified more about her than she thought.

"You are correct." Akame replied, "I am a Slayer from Sabertooth." Akame's hopes had now changed. She was eager to see Aedre's reaction towards her being a Slayer, and a Legal Mage. Not all people liked Slayers, nor did they like Legal Mages, in general. In fact, even the presence of any Mage at all did not always please people. It was only a couple days ago that Akame could remember eavesdropping on two fellow citizens of Fiore. The two citizens explained that they wished magic would not exist, and that one person would be just as ordinary as the next. Akame desired not to live in such a world, for if this were to be the case, the dangers only Mages would normally deal with would obliterate all that is important to ordinary citizens, including their own lives with ease. No matter how jealous these people were, their always had to be leaders in this world to take care of the great threats, and in this case, these "leaders" would be the Mages of society. Of course, there were Dark Mages, as well, though no ordinary citizen dared to speak about them. Until her last encounter with Hikari, Akame used to always think Dark Mages were living catastrophes. However, once she learned that one was good enough to be loved by a Legal Mage, her perspective of Dark Mages changed, and hope arose that Dark Mages and Legal Mages could one day come to even the slightest compromise. This would make national news, and make everyone in Fiore feel much more secure. Unfortunately, this was much more easily said than done.

Now that Akame identified herself, she had confirmed that Aedre must have been a Mage, herself, which would bring about the same question. "I can also see that you're a Slayer, as well." Akame remarked, "And before I ask what guild you are from, just know that I have learned that everyone has a purpose, whether Legal or Dark, so I will not be offended by any name you bring up." It was understandable if Aedre found Akame dishonest with this one point, though with her facial expression, Akame indicated that her statements were nothing but the truth. Her meeting with Hikari had truly given her the idea that everyone had their reasons for going down their own path. There were paths that Akame could not always agree with, but if she wished to be appreciated but others, she would have to deal with them all. As long as Aedre was not a threat to her- which seemed to not be a problem currently- whatever she said in response to Akame's remark was acceptable. Akame had a feeling she was much different than herself, anyway.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 8th December 2014, 10:35 pm

When Akame mentioned that she was a mage of Sabertooth, Aedre tried her very best to not give any sort of reaction- lest she could be in trouble. Until now- that is, right from the point she came across this woman; she made it a point to not give up her alliance and loyalties and she wasn't an exception at all. Aedre behaved the same way with most people, for everything felt much better and secure if she stayed behind a semi-transparent veil; so that people never knew too much about her, but at the same time, they felt well-informed too.
Speaking about Sabertooth, it was one of those Legal Guilds that bore a strong grudge against Savage Skull. Which was definitely not surprising, since every single Guild which chose the path of light had the Savages as their main target. This was mostly because the Dark Guild had been causing havoc since aeons, right from the moment it was founded. In fact, there were times that it was the sole problem of Fiore- because none of the other villians could stand up to the Savage's might and power.
Once in a blue moon, some Guilds rose alongside them, while some grew against them; but with the play of time and fate, they crumbled besides it or while standing against it.
The Savages had their bad time as well, but they always sprang back up to their feet- in some way or the other, but always nefarious. Aedre's time in Savage Skull had been long, to say the least and she had witnessed many of its countless battles against the other Guilds of Fiore, but still, most of the infamous ones were hidden in the pages of history and she prefered not to delve too much into them. Afterall, there was no use in looming over moments that have long since past, while only their after-effects can be seen. Those times are, in no way, of any use to someone living so much in the present.
The white-haired woman didn't have much idea about the Guild of the Tigers, neither about its members; except the fact that the former Guildmaster was now a part of it. The same man who brought her into Savage Skull, left her its reigns for a while and left by saying that he'd return. He never did and Aedre had to be the one who brought in a new Guild Master- the current one; Harrigan. They were related by blood, holding a relationship of uncle and niece; but in now way did that make it any easier to talk to him and pursue him to take the role of a leader... A position that Aedre didn't find fitting for herself and a position that she'd never like to take up. Let's just say, leadership was not her forte.
The cause of all this trouble was the man named Frederick and surely she didn't find it very pleasing when she came to know that he was hiding up in the halls of Sabertooth. But, Aedre rarely ever bore grudges and there was good damn reason for it- so she simply summed it all up with a meagre statement of, 'He probably had a reason.'

Her same opinion was voiced by Akame soon after and Aedre found a small smile curving up her lips as her eyes scrutinized the sea. From what she was hearing, the Slayer could figure out that Akame already suspected her true origins. Undoubtedly, this was one of the most interesting people she'd ever met in the mage world. Most people never even had a tiny bit of hint because of the enigmatic way Aedre chose to behave. But, apparently, Akame saw all of that in an entirely new light.
Usually, Aedre chose to lie about her Guild if questioned and named any small time legal guild, for she always felt pretty sure that she was not going to meet the person later on in life. It hardly mattered. Albeit, the blonde had already guessed... so there was no point in lying. And, what more? She seemed tolerant enough.
    'But not right away.'
The woman tilted her head a bit and turned to look at Akame, an attempt to read her facial expressions; seeing nothing but pure honesty in them.
"How about... I turn it into a challenge for you? If you can win against me in some sort of game or anything- I'll let you know about any one thing you want to know about me. Mind you though, only one thing." She chuckled slightly, but her expression did speak that she was just being a bit playful. There was no harm intended.
"You can decide what the game or challenge would be." Aedre added, her sentence being an attempt to clarify that it was no big deal for her. Because, if it was, she would have never let the opponent have a choice.

Akame smirked after what she had heard. So there was something different about the woman, after all. Not only that, but it seemed as if she came from a parallel world as Akame- or to be precise, a dark world; Savage Skull. Of course, Akame had no true say about Dark Guilds since what Hikari had told her about that particular person from Savage Skull. Hikari was in love with the man, and that alone gave Akame a new perspective of the guild; do not be presumptuous of the members there. "Any game, huh?" Akame replied, "Since you grant me the choice, we shall play Truth or Dare. The rules are simple: We each ask each other a question- Truth or Dare? Should the other player respond with Truth, they must answer any question the opposing player gives them. Should the player choose Dare, the opposing player can force them with words alone to do anything. Boundaries are the dares cannot endanger the person being dared mentally or physically, nor can any violent contact occur unless a player asks for it." Akame's smirk grew brighter as the scene carried on.

She had probably messed with this deal more than Aedre could anticipate. With this game, Akame could ask what she wanted, anyway, and Aedre would have to answer any question she asked honestly. Not only that, but as a lesbian, Akame could have a little fun too, though she would not go that far unless Aedre promoted the desire to do so. "Truth or Dare?" Akame began, "Remember. According to your answer, one of the two scenarios mentioned will occur." Note that Akame was also prepared to break her own rules if Aedre chose to break the rules of this game, herself. Though she appeared to be an acquaintance, unless she could identify herself as a friend, Akame could not trust her just yet. The conversation needed to continue through this game, and most likely beyond the game, as well. Aedre was just too interesting of a person to take so lightly. She seemed much more complicated than anybody Akame had ever met, and surprisingly enough, it impressed her. On the contrary, not even the slightest bit of curiosity could be seen on her face, despite how questionable Aedre appeared to be within Akame's mind.

While the question of 'Truth or Dare' remained active, Akame had something else to say; something far more interesting to spill. "Keep this is mind while we play as it is the one question I will ask, should I feel more discomforted about this game than you; the only way of determining who wins and loses, in this case." Akame commented. She paused briefly, allowing Aedre to take in the suspense of what she was about to ask. It would also allow her to clear her mind so she could, in fact, remember the question Akame was about to tell. "What is your purpose in life?" Akame asked, "We all have our hopes, wishes, dreams, desires, needs, reasons, behaviours and attitudes, though the most important thing about life is its purpose; why do we live? While you're alive, what do you seek? What does your fantastic future look like?" Akame's face became blank during this time, nothing but serious and clearly curious.

All that was left during this bit of silence was to investigate the first victim of this game: Aedre. As Akame said, Aedre had two options: to request a question leading to an honest answer, or to request a dare leading to a forced action. How would Aedre begin this game? Akame looked at Aedre with great focus to see how exactly her facial expression would change. Akame had seen countless face gestures before; all defining distinct emotions. What was Aedre going to do about this game? She had made the choice to cooperate with any game Akame offered, and so she had forced herself to play under these rules, and not quit until one felt completely uncomfortable. What would Aedre hope for Akame to ask? There were actions some people could cooperate with more than others, whereas at the same time, some things they could not tolerate. Would Aedre expect Akame to ask something easy or difficult? What did Aedre think of Akame, exactly? Again, Akame would be presumptuous and ask her question or give her dare based on the face gestures Aedre would react with- if she gave away any, of course. Otherwise, this would be a much more interesting game, and everything included would only be an element of surprise.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 10th December 2014, 7:56 am

Aedre observed Akame's face as she gave away the liberty of choosing the game that they bot could play. That simple smirk on the other woman's face spoke a lot; for it was a facial expression that she herself carried or showed off many times a day. Basically, it gave her a fair idea of what was going in Akame's head at the moment and the realization only acted as a catalyst for her amusement regarding her new acquaintance.

As Akame named the game that she wanted to play and began to explain its rules, a faint memory floated into the white-haired woman's head. She turned her face to look at the point where the sea and the sky blended together in a brilliant fashion; while the memory sharpened within her head. Actually, it was the game itself that had invoked the memory- something that happened several years ago when Aedre was perched upon the roof of a small house and observing two children playing with each other. It was probably the time when she had left the care of her mentor and was roaming the streets of Fiore with not much clue to how people made their living in the cities. Afterall, she was in her early teens back then and curiosity was something she possessed in abundance. From the high vantage point, she had witnessed the two toddlers playing the same game that Akame was currently mentioning. The recollection helped to clear her idea about this game and brought forth a small, bemused smile on her lips.

However, the Slayer was also face to face with the fact that this game would turn out way different. Afterall, there was surely going to be considerable differences between the working of the minds of children and that of people aged around Akame or Aedre. Innocence was the one key factor that they were going to lack.
'That just means more fun.' She concluded, while her smile turned into a sly one- but, of course, didn't last for long.
    "Truth or Dare?"
'Well, well, she's more demanding than I expected.' The thought caused her to grin in a playful way, while she faced Akame once again.
"Yes ma'am~" The Slayer cooed, bowing jokingly, the same way a butler does for his master... And, well, that was the role she was playing a few hours ago anyways. Aedre didn't answer though, deciding to give her choice a second thought before voicing it. At the same time, she heard Akame posing the question that she was supposed to answer if she happened to lose this game.
'Geez... This is gonna be tough.' Was the only sentence in her head after comprehending the question that Akame posed. The level of difficulty of that question for Aedre was similar to that of a fifth grade student trying to answer a question from the syllabus of tenth grade. Difficult... But definitely not unanswerable if the younger student had the necessary knowledge. In this case, Aedre would only need to acquire the knowledge as she played the game, try to ascertain and come up with an answer- just in case she lost.
"This game will probably take a long while-" She began, before proceeding onto to take back her old position on the ground and crossing up her legs in the Indian style. Patting softly on the place right next to her, she continued, "-So you better take a seat as well."
The woman took the time to take in a calm breath, as her face returned back to its usually nonchalant expression- which, in fancier terms would be called a 'Poker face.'

    "Dare."

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 10th December 2014, 1:15 pm

Akame smirked at the determination Aedre seemed to present. Both women were obviously prepared to unleash their most manipulative set of skills upon the other, and strive for victory. The difference in this game, however, would be who could play their cards more strategically. Akame took into account that she was invited to "take a seat". Jokingly, she sat down, indeed, and smirked with even more delight once Aedre answered her question. This may present her badly to Aedre, though Akame would explain the reasons why she chose to give this certain answer; not just for her personal gain.

"I dare you to strip down to the point of nudity." Akame replied, "Feel insecure now, in this immature, devilish game so you can be relieved, later on." Akame's face became serious. Yes, she was a lesbian, but this dare was not just for her pleasure. There were other reasons as to why she made this dare, which she would gladly explain. "Every dare I give you will teach you a lesson." Akame added, "Either that, or it will teach you something about me. Feel exposed to the world while you have no clothes on." The last statement frankly identified the purpose of Akame's dare. The best way to get what you wanted in life was to assure you were exposed, beforehand- that you were there at the right time, and involved at the right moment. Most importantly, however, you would have to be ready to accept the consequences. In this case, Akame wanted Aedre to imagine that she were some kind of pervert, and in order to get what she wanted, Aedre would have to please Akame with her nudity first. Life is unfair; this was Akame's lesson.

She had to admit it though. Akame would enjoy seeing Aedre's naked body, and pleasure was the original purpose of this game. In any way possible, the objective of this game was to make your opponent feel uncomfortable, or feel too bummed to play. Akame was sure that this dare alone would not cause Aedre to abandon the game. In fact, this dare would probably lead to Akame either doing the same thing, or much worse. She figured by Aedre's smile earlier that this was how she tended to play games. It was actually clarified when she allowed Akame to pick whatever game they played, then challenged her to win. There must have already been a set of questions and dares in her mind to alarm Akame. In order to achieve success, however, Akame had to expect the worst, and so she could not afford to lose this game- she could not afford feeling discomfort. Her poker face stood out effectively while this game was active, though Akame had mixed emotions about what was to come.

"This dare will let me see how at ease you are with other people." Akame remarked, "It will identify how you react to such strong statements as the one I previously presented to you, along with the extent in which people can talk to you without sudden actions taking place. Of course, I will not lead you to the point of violence, seeing as you have the potential of a woman to befriend. All I want to see is how far you can go to please others." While Akame would also be attracted once Aedre was forced to commit to the dare, she would still hold the same poker face to bestow her full seriousness to the case. Akame was eager to hear Aedre's life purpose, and so she would have to win the game first. Her questions and dares would carry on with this trend; how far could the other female go to be at ease with others? The thoughts made the adrenaline rush in Akame's body, seeing as she was secretly- and very- interested to see what could come out of this game. If Aedre could feel at ease with Akame had a high degree, Akame would not hesitate in befriending her, despite the guild she was in or the past circumstances that was her previous life. At this point, Akame only wondered what Aedre must have thought of the Tempest Demon Slayer.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 11th December 2014, 7:55 am

With the tip of her chin held in the palm of her hand, Aedre watched Akame's facial expression when she placed the dare that Aedre was meant to complete. The woman only raised a single eyebrow in response, while the rest of her features didn't twitch in the slightest. One could call it a talent that she possessed; for years of dealing with the tough and crazed customers that came up to a dark mage served as more than enough practice- leaving you with just the right amount of self-control, manipulation and self-presentation.
However, despite that little ability present within her, there was another element at play for keeping Aedre from getting bashful about this entire predicament. You see, any other woman might have gotten terribly embarrassed at this point, mostly due to the fact that they were brought with an idea about modesty and everything from an early age. In Aedre's case, this didn't hold true, for she barely spent more than five years with her birth-family and then took off to train under a Dragon in some far off beach. And, well... five years was not enough to shove this into her head and neither was a Dragon a good teacher when it came to social ideas, courtesy and the so-called, normal behaviour. In current times, Aedre understood that it was not socially acceptable to roam naked in open areas such as the Serene Cliffs- but no self-learnt lesson about people and their psychologies would ever affect a person the way childhood lessons that are ingrained in their minds would.
This crippling weakness (or shall we call it strength?) left the Slayer a bit shameless and naive in the outer world's eyes. Inspite of this, Akame's demand surprised her a little, but the woman chose not to express that and as stated once before, she was very much in control of her facial expressions. The surprise mostly stemmed from the fact that Akame was just turning all of Aedre's initial impressions about her... wrong. Completely wrong.
    'Oh well...'
Without a word, the lady pulled away the tie that hung around her neck and dropped it off on the ground; right beside where her shoes had been disposed off previously. Standing up and averting eye-contact with the other woman, she stood up and unbuttoned her shirt, took it off and let it join the tie without a care.
"...how far you can go to please others."
"I don't--- I don't *try* to please others, for it is absolutely outrageous. If I start living with the purpose of impressing somebody, then I won't exactly be living in the correct sense, would I? I only let *my* opinions and ideas to influence my actions... without giving a damn about other people. For most people I've seen are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, since they choose to live on the dictates that have been taught to them from the very beginning... I was lucky enough to not be taught anything about normality and such- so I got the chance of figuring things out independently. Let's be clear; I'm not playing this game to please you or myself... I'm playing it because I want to." She spoke, her voice unrestrained, while she got rid of the pants that she wore as well; so that she was left in nothing but her undergarments.
"Am I allowed to keep these?" Aedre questioned, finally choosing to look Akame in the eyes while her hands crossed themselves below her chest. You see, the woman was just not sure what 'point of nudity' her challenger expected. Partial or complete? That was her question--- but there was also the feeling that she already knew the answer.

    It was likely the latter.

However, it was better to make sure, or else there was always the chance that she'd end up making a fool of herself while, at the same time, make Akame uncomfortable at a time when Aedre, herself, was the one who should experience un-comfortableness. On a different note, Aedre was definitely willing to play along the rules of this game and do whatever her challenger asked her of. Losing at such an early point in the game would be terrible, afterall.

While she would wait for Akame's answer, the Slayer posed her next question, which was vital to the game, "Truth or Dare, Akame?"

It was only right to give the other female a little bit of a time to choose while Aedre would need to proceed on with whatever demand she came up with.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 11th December 2014, 9:40 am

Akame giggled a bit when she saw that Aedre had only stripped down to her undergarments. "Completely naked." Akame emphasized, a blush appearing on her face for a mere second before it vanished; that single moment of embarrassment on her face. She listened to Aedre's speech thoroughly as, while she hoped Aedre would follow matters the same way she did, Aedre actually surprised the Tempest Demon Slayer with her response. "Interesting..." Akame replied, "Very interesting. I always thought impressing others was a good thing because seeing their smiles always made my day. You see, in my perspective, doing good deeds for others is what makes life slightly more fun to embrace. You make friends by doing good things for them, learn about the people you help, learn about the people you impress, and learn more about those you impress- and the more you learn about society, the better your life will become, right?" Akame took a short pause while she examined Aedre face gestures. She held a well-established poker face; one that could not seem to be penetrated unless it was by Aedre's own will. She seemed truly serious about every word she spoke, and explained her perceptions with great effectiveness. It seemed the two walked different paths, though Akame did not mind it at all. She liked it, in fact.

While Aedre didn't seem to think nearly as lightly as Akame did about other people, it interested her to see why exactly a woman would not appreciate pleasing others. Her reasons were solid, but just unfortunate, in Akame's opinion. However, Akame was sure that a few things Aedre would learn about her would be unfortunate in her mind, as well. Everyone is different, after all, and so it was impossible to agree with every opinion another had to offer. This could also be due to the past Aedre lived, though Akame lived a miserable one, as well. She could not recall most of the events in her past, though what she could remember was that she was mistreated quite often, did not have any parents to see in this world, nor have any true friends until she joined Sabertooth. Maybe this is what inspired her to please others- the potential to start anew with the guidance of other people.

Akame saw that Aedre was now being direct with her eye contact, staring at Akame straight in the eye while Akame did the same thing towards her new acquaintance. It made her happy to finally see someone incomparable to her own kind, which gave her the impression that this woman could definitely be from a Dark Guild. While Akame learned from her best friend Hikari that not all Dark Mages were insane, she still held her theory that each and every one of them was against the thoughts of Legal Mages, and probably assumed they were disciples of the Magic Council. Aedre was not one of these people, however, which made Akame also consider the fact that she may be neutral. She did not give a damn about people, anyway, which did give the impression that she probably belittled the council, especially. Akame had to admit, the Magic Council did think quite highly of themselves, being the authorities in Fiore, and enabled to do whatever they wished based on what they saw from Legal or Dark Mages. Akame deeply wondered if the Magic Council was actually what citizens believed they were; the Supreme Court of Fiore.

"I choose dare, as well. Akame added. While she knew at this point that Aedre cared more about what fate offered her, she wanted to see if Aedre was at least advantageous over the people she encountered. Would she be nice and give Akame a small dare, or be just as competitive as her and give her an extreme dare, just as Akame did to Aedre. No. That was a dumb question. Akame knew well that this woman had already presented herself as a highly intelligent female, who knew how to deal with people quite well. She was one of those interesting Mages who did not need the support of others to make good decisions, which made Akame think much more brightly of her. It was strange; all of these feelings. Akame did not agree with many of the things Aedre had said already, yet she was proud to be in her presence. It was a complicated feeling, yet during this time, Akame knew there would be no problem in befriending the lady. All Akame needed to do now was earn Aedre's respect. However, she would definitely need to surpass this game and impress Aedre to do so.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 12th December 2014, 3:36 am

Aedre couldn't help but roll her eyes when Akame placed forth the dare once again and sighed gently. While it was a true fact that the woman didn't feel embarrassed or such in this predicament, she still found it a bit ridiculous. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined herself in such a position; completely naked in front of a stranger that she had met only a few minutes ago. Heck, she wouldn't have expected herself to even crack up a conversation with some random person; but here she was, getting much more friendly and breaking the limitations placed upon her as well as the thoughts she had about herself. Akame probably belonged to a different league of people or something- for she was making someone like Aedre bend to her will; regardless it being through a game or not.

As she listened to the other lady's opinions, Aedre unclasped her bra and threw it with the rest of her clothes and proceeded to get rid of her panties. As she would do so, her eyes flitted around, searching the surroundings with the slight fear of another observer apart from Akame. It didn't seem there was one, atleast right now. Being completely naked, the white-haired woman did confess to herself that it was the weirdest situation she had ever been in. The slightly moist sea-side air that hit her bare skin only reminded her badly of what she had gotten herself into. There was not embarrassment that reigned her thoughts, but instead awkwardness; both being feelings that were not far apart from each other, but perhaps can still be considered different by a thick measure.

"I can't agree... But I have no right to deny either. We all have different perspectives, afterall." Aedre voiced her opinion, after having heard what Akame had to say. She didn't look the woman in her eyes this time though, as her current condition made her feel so vulnerable that it was almost akin to losing the game itself. She was just trying her best to get over it, while her hands crossed across her stomach and waist.

"You ought to let me wear some clothes back on--- sooner or later. It's gonna be a horrible situation for *both* of us if anybody pops into this place the same way you did... Pure happenstance, you know." She murmured, emerald hues once again scanning the area; while her head came up with the possible thoughts that'd wander into some random passerby's mind if they saw her in such a state. She hoped that she could be allowed her shirt, in the least. That would suffice more than enough- provided the other woman felt merciful enough.

'And people call dark mages the real devils...' Aedre quipped within her head, as a light smile spread unto her lips. It was really true that even the best of people had that usually belittled dark side within them; and Akame was acting like the living example of that side, no matter how much of a playful light it could be seen in. The people just chose not to flaunt it like how their counterparts; people like Aedre, did.

"I choose dare, as well." Akame's statement pulled Aedre's face back to its original expression; albeit, with a glimpse of pondering to it. The woman bit her lower lip for a second, as her mind throbbed with ideas, some way too outrageous to even ask. They were dumped within a fraction of a moment, while one was chosen right out of it. You see, Aedre felt like she needed to be a bit competitive and revengeful in this game, but her head refused to come up with anything that matched the standard of Akame's dare. One could possibly blame it on her lack of experience in any such game; or maybe because she found the simple act of stating the dare, ridiculous.

The only piece of clothing that was currently left on Aedre was that single glove on her right hand, which, Aedre guessed, wouldn't be a problem for Akame- since it was only common sense to understand that it presence on her wouldn't change the degree of expected embarrassment in the slightest. So, taking advantage of it, the Slayer focused just a tad bit and made the single emerald attached on the glove to glow, as some sort of a pen appeared safely within the hold of her fingers. It was just another one of those stupid things that she had grabbed from some market while on a walk, a random moment when she felt like spending money on something that was of no real use to her. Apparently, that magical glow-pen could be finally put to some use today.

Extending her hand in Akame's direction and making eye-contact once again, Aedre offered the pen, "Take this and mark out any physical attribute of yours that you're most self-conscious about--- Oh, and let the marking stay on for the entire day." She stated, a small smirk on her lips, wondering how Akame would react to this. It was a silly dare... But, then again, she did feel silly while playing this seemingly outrageous game.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 12th December 2014, 1:18 pm

While Akame thought she would have many comments to make on Aedre being naked, her thoughts became limited when she was actually able to see the other woman in such a state. She considered the possible circumstances that Aedre could suffer while nude to the public, and so she assured there would be no publicity to see such a thing. With a single movement, gusts of wind appeared to cover all gates to enter the Serene Cliffs- this portion, at least. Should civilians wish to visit the Serene Cliffs, they would have to see it from a view in which Akame and Aedre would not be visible. "While this dare may make me seem inconsiderate of your feelings, I am not." Akame remarked, "I am advantageous with the rules of any game, but not with the security of a person." A small grin appeared on Akame's face after she said this. Though it was hard to predict Aedre's feelings through her poker face, it was not hard to tell how insecure the two could possibly feel about this game, and so Akame had just assured Aedre that the only one who would make her feel discomfort...would be Akame, herself.

Akame liked what she saw, honestly; the naked body of Aedre Crawford. She had to admit, the woman was attractive and fit, to say the least. However, aside from this game, this did not give Akame the right to have the woman strip so all of her body was revealed. This simple dare was to see how comfortable Aedre could feel physically around another person. On the contrary, Akame did not want any potential perverts to take advantage of this moment, hence the gusts of wind. Not only that, but there was much more to any person than just their appearance, in particular. Personality was the most important concept, which Akame lacked to fully discover. She needed to ask more questions and see what Aedre could do to get an idea of who she was. Unfortunately, while Aedre had initially granted only one question to Akame, the Tempest Demon Slayer doubted Aedre would commit to as many honest questions as she would dares.

A light smile appeared on Akame's face when Aedre clarified that it was alright for the two to have distinct opinions of certain subjects. "I'm glad you think that way." Akame replied, "You seem like an interesting person, you know?" The way Aedre acted made Akame wonder more if she were on the neutral side of Fiore; the side that did not agree with either the Legal or Dark Mages, nor affiliate with the Magic Council. This was ultimately the problem with Mages. Some Mages appeared to be bright, but would always backstab you in the end, whereas others would seem dark, yet turn out the most innocent beings in the world. Then, of course, there were Mages who chose to stay out of both sides' ways. "I've seen enough, by the way. You may dress yourself, if you wish." Akame mentioned. This had obviously pointed out that Akame had sensed some sort of irritation from Aedre, and so she discarded it with this statement, alone. Discomfort would strictly be the only feeling exposed in this game, unless Aedre chose to act otherwise.

Moments later, Akame was offered a pen with an interesting, yet annoying dare. Akame smirked, and surprisingly took the pen happily. She marked out the area of one of her breasts over her shirt, marking a circle to indicate where it was located. Akame honestly felt a little underwhelmed with this dare, though she did not show it with her facial expressions. Like Aedre, Akame always held a poker face so it would be difficult for the two to seek out any emotions the other held. It was only bothersome to know that Aedre had allowed Akame to not discard anything, but rather add something onto her appearance; an indicator of one of her assets, you could say. "Is this good enough?" Akame asked, "And also..."

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 13th December 2014, 2:24 am

An expression of relief washed over the white-haired woman's face when Akame stated that she could put her clothes back on. Afterall, she was horribly miffed at the thought that they would probably experience the company of some passerby, right out of the blue. However, she did manage to notice that there was something unusually magical with the flow of air around the Serene Cliffs; a bit protective and soothing aura that wafted in it, and couldn't help but relate it as Akame's doing. It definitely made sense, since the other woman's words of a few moments before would justify such an action. Then again, there was no saying that this intuition of Aedre was even right or not.

She turned back, a small smile etched unto her lips, wondering how contradictory her own personality could be, when compared to Akame. For if Aedre had given the same dare to the other female, she wouldn't have pulled back in the slightest- thus not allowing her 'victim' to put those clothes back on. Why? Well, there wasn't much mercy imbibed in the Slayer's heart, nor would she want to make the game any easier for her opponent. Fun lasted as long as you tried to make it last, afterall.

The woman bent down and picked up nothing more than her panty and the white shirt. The rest of the clothing was sent into the pocket dimension of her glove, and they disappeared into thin air at the lightest touch of her fingers. As she buttoned her shirt back up, Aedre chose to reply to a statement made by the other Slayer, "Everyone's interesting, by the way. It depends on the way you see them and, of course, how far you're *allowed* to see and get to know them. Its just that--- when you meet somebody who's unlike you in many aspects, you start terming them as *interesting*. With other people, you just fail to notice and admire it.... And its not just *you* who does that, its everyone."

By now, Aedre had finished wearing the clothes that she felt would suffice her, so she assumed her place on the ground once again; pulling her knees up and locking her arms around them, while flashing a small smile in Akame's direction. Yes, she broke that nonchalant expression of hers for once, choosing to emphasize the honesty in her words- and signifying that she found Akame very much interesting as well.

As Akame marked out her chest as the physical aspect of hers that she was most conscious about, Aedre almost... Almost, broke into a wild chuckle. The result was just a held-back giggle. The woman quickly bit down her tongue to stop herself from losing control, as she had just realized that Akame was not too different from the other ladies. Of course, Akame's marking was exactly what Aedre expected- but, still she had went with the gut instinct that asked her to test the woman. Akame probably found the dare quite easy, since there was no reluctance to be seen in her actions, but honestly speaking, Aedre wasn't even trying to push the blonde's limits. Her aim was just to not lose the game... So, winning became a thing she could shake away. She had this crazed idea of playing the game until Akame gave up... However, she also promised herself that if Akame managed to make her way too uncomfortable--- she'd enter the same level of competitiveness. But for now, Aedre was going to hold back.

    "Truth or Dare?"
The question made the white-haired woman bite her lower lip in thought, as she considered the possible consequences of both the options for a fraction of a second. She had just completed a dare, so it would be a natural choice to go for truth; with the view of keeping the game interesting- no matter how much freedom it gave Aedre's opponent to delve into her personal matters. Taking a dare once again would be... undoubtedly boring.

    "Um, truth."

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 13th December 2014, 2:14 pm

Akame was surprised to see that Aedre only wished to redress herself in her panties and white shirt- not even a bra? She supposed this was her compromise to the dare that Akame had just lifted from her shoulders, which seemed unfair to the Tempest Demon Slayer after the dare she recently went through. However, granting Aedre something good out of this ridiculous game was her fault, so if Akame had anyone to blame, it was herself. Akame listened carefully to Aedre while she seemed eager to make a comment on Akame's compliment for the white-haired Mage. "I call you interesting because I like your personality." Akame responded, "Though I suppose it remains true that we are different in many aspects." When Akame thought about it further, it was almost as if she were seeing someone opposite to herself. Again, her thoughts of Aedre were changing as she could imagine her in a Dark Guild, except nowhere near the typical Mage behind those gates- distinct from all she had heard about, in fact. However, if this be the case, what guild was she from?

Akame examined Aedre, and noticed that her glove had never been removed; that Aedre had not exposed every part of her body. "I'll have you know I do not think lowly of Dark Mages..." Akame remarked, "I used to, but after a recent encounter, I do not." Akame pointed to the glove, though she also identified that she would not do anything, whatsoever. There were many definitions behind the word 'interesting' in society, nowadays. Though Akame had explained only one reason, she held more. Aedre was somebody Akame wanted to befriend, yet she wanted to wait until the end of this game to request friendship from the white-haired Mage, herself. It was ironic. Akame's next question was to ask if Aedre hailed from a Dark Guild. However, this glove she had pointed to identified it. No neutral Mage, or even a guild-less Mage would bother covering their hand if they had no insignia underneath the cover, itself. Additionally, most Legal Mages felt comfortable identifying what guild they were from- confident, in fact. This woman, however, had not spoken a word about what guild she came from, yet gave a clue that she was from a guild with this glove. Of course, the guild insignia could have always been on the back of Aedre's body, though covering this part of her skin, in particular gave it all away.

Akame smiled warmly towards Aedre in response to her own smile. There seemed to be a bright aura surrounding the other woman, despite what guild she could've possibly came from. Akame figured she was doing a good job when it came to making others feel comfortable around her; contradictory to the game the two were playing. This gave Akame an idea of what kind of question to ask Aedre after she had requested 'Truth'. Akame found Aedre highly intelligent, under this matter. Aedre could have figured that if she requested a second dare, Akame would be twice as harsh with her dare as before, seeing as she would have gained the perception of Aedre liking one side of the game twice as much as the other. The Tempest Demon Slayer wondered just how long this game would possibly take, though her next question would present something quite emotional, so to speak.

"Do you want to be friends?" Akame asked. This question clearly signified that Akame did not care what kind of guild Aedre came from; she was only interested in the woman, specifically. Akame no longer found any guilds as typical as she used to. Akame had changed her senses since then, and figured that it would be best to see these guilds before judging them; something she bet both the Legal and Dark Guilds would appreciate. Her smile grew more positive as her arm extended towards the other woman, her hand positioned to do a handshake, if the woman accepted it. Akame felt like this had played a big factor between the two until now; the fact that Aedre must have known the two were different in many ways. However, that did not matter as much anymore, as Akame's facial expressions identified such feelings. The aura she was displaying could not indicate more honesty than she could possibly portray when she asked the question. She really did want to befriend this woman, especially because she was different.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Felicity 18th December 2014, 4:34 am

Aedre wasn't sure what she felt when Akame said that she didn't mind Dark Mages- she couldn't label her thoughts, couldn't exactly put a finger on this woman's personality. Right after the first few sentences had been exchanged between them, Aedre got the general idea that Akame was tolerant with people's alignment. That she wouldn't freak out or end up rambling some senseless speech about justice and crap if she were to really find out. That was probably the most influential factor that made Aedre feel comfortable around her. She felt a bit more free than usual, as if a lock within her had been opened magically. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this way. Perhaps it was when she was around her own people... People that she shared a space with in the alignment spectrum. But, the white-haired woman hadn't opened like this since a long time, especially with a person like this. All of this excited her so, the idea of observing and understanding a person entirely different from her. Something she lacked experience with, to be honest. For the female had spent most of her time in solitude--- let's say, socializing wasn't on the top of her priority list. Ever.
But she did love meeting people, or more like listening to them. No matter who they were, the Slayer could always find a spark within them. She could easily find qualities to be appreciated, as well as aspects to be frowned upon. And she wouldn't deny--- that she always chose to give more importance to the latter. The bad aspects, the things that she hated and disgusted. Maybe, that was the reason she preferred not be around people- because she never felt the feeling of irate then. She felt better. Safe and less vulnerable, so to speak.

Albeit, today she felt a bit different. Aedre wasn't sure if it was just the day or the person she was connecting to; because she sure as hell didn't find anything wrong with Akame yet, nothing that pissed her off or made her cringe internally. Heck, she wasn't sure if these were good signs or not- for a part of her mind said that she was just crossing the line. Her personal line of comfort.

The woman had also noticed her acquaintance's eyes on the glove that she wore. A realization that made her smirk. She almost felt like a tease; as she was denying her complete identity to the curious soul in front of her. Well, she would keep the act up further, she concluded. A little bit of mystery always spiced things up.

Besides, Aedre head rationalized that it was alright- considering that she still wasn't able to understand Akame completely. This was so unlike the usual times... So unlike the people she usually met. Her lips just cricked up at the thought.

The woman's next question caught Aedre off-guard. Like, completely. It was miles and miles away from the kind of questions she had anticipated. See, this was the problem--- she couldn't predict this woman, which naturally stemmed from the fact that she couldn't understand her. A derisive sigh escaped her lips, directed at her own powerlessness in the current situation.

She held the other female's eyes just for a section and didn't fail to notice the honesty behind the hazel orbs. Once again, she appreciated that quality, of conveying yourself so easily. She doubted if she could ever do that. Her dominant hand unwrapped itself from its secure hold around her legs and stretched out--- only to stop a breadth of hair away from Akame's hand, "It wouldn't affect me... But, it might do that you, in a bad way. This friendship. I suppose not everybody in Sabertooth would be gung ho if they know about it. Infact, it won't be a thing you can talk about freely... Since restrictions follow anyone that has anything to do with the darker side." Aedre spoke and her voice retained a matter-of-factly tone; as if she were a weather reporter warning of stormy conditions. To be perfectly truthful, a friendship with her was really going to be akin to a storm for Akame; provided she failed to handle it in the right way.

"The decision is yours." She added, her eyebrows arching up slightly, showing a semblance of eagerness to see if Akame would be up for the challenge. She had tossed the ball back, so if Akame felt she could catch it- she was welcomed to complete the friendly gesture of the handshake that Aedre had stalled.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 19th December 2014, 12:14 am

Akame caught the ball. In life, there is always a choice, and people must deal with them. You can say this is what makes life unfair, though to the Demon Slayer, it was rather nice. Since she had met Frederick, Akame figured everyone had a reason to be in Sabertooth, yet the slightest, hidden reason not to. She also figured this could be certain for any other guild; everybody had a secret that the upperclassmen could not tolerate. Nobody lived a perfect life, after all. There was no such thing, anyway. Everyone always had the brilliant mind to think of something that could be improved in this world today, and a thousand years later, so is there really such a thing as an utopia? Akame shook off the thoughts as what she was thinking at this point was completely irrelevant.

"Sabertooth is my home, and I must live by their rules..." Akame began, "But only while under their roof." A guild did not define the person to perfection- not at all. Sure, Sabertooth had authorization over the woman while she was a guild member, though the guild did not possess her soul, rights and freedoms. Possessing those would just make Akame a slave. It was true, now that Akame thought about it. Countless misunderstandings had been made about all guilds, yet no-one dared to challenge what other guilds truly live for, because to do that, you would have to encounter those guilds, personally. Guilds were judged based on people representing them while outside of their house; what they made of their rights and freedoms, and what kind of actions they would pull to feel good; to enlighten that soul of theirs. All of these observations had to be what differentiated a Legal Guild from a Dark Guild these days; a Legal Mage from a Dark Mage. Though these two Mages, in particular were opposites, that did not lead them to believe they could not be friends. In fact, as far as Akame knew it, Aedre was challenging her to see if she could establish and maintain a good relationship with this woman. And it was concluded with...

A handshake. Akame gently shook hands with the other woman, a light smile on her face while the dawn of a new beginning commenced. Indeed, it was going to be tough living out this friendship, as Legal Mages and Dark wished to have either erased from humanity. This is what mankind had witnessed, after all. The ones who proved to be the most problematic joined these places called "Dark Guilds", while the ones who devoted their time to support another's well being joined places called "Legal Guilds." Both terms were poor, in Akame's opinion. The Magic Council had no right to differ the two factions with names like these. Akame just wished all guilds could live in peace and harmony, but yet again, life was unfair, and still is. At least Akame could make the best of the days she had remaining. "Friends." Akame added.

This was going to be a new adventure for the both of them. There was much more to be discussed obviously during this time, but in the future- that was a different story. The two would have to be very careful, and keep their friendship secret from their guilds. Akame bet Dark Guilds would not appreciate Aedre befriending a Legal Mage, though she seemed more at ease with it, from what Akame sensed; another advantage of being in contact with another Slayer. Akame's light smile never disappeared to portray a determined look, yet an enlightened one, as well. This friendship would not go broken by the thoughts of another, and it would remain intact so long as the two wished. "Alright, your turn." Akame remarked, "Let's just skip asking the question 'Truth or Dare.' I pick 'Dare.'" Akame never thought she would be this comfortable around a Dark Mage- no, Aedre. No longer would Akame address Aedre by another name, but rather a name as simple as the one as she addressed, firsthand: Aedre. She was eager to see how this friendship would progress, and what the two could make out of it. Akame knew some of Aedre's feelings towards certain scenarios already, though the two would have to play this game until an entire summary of both women could be seen in the other's eyes. Not only that, but one would have to grasp the chance of making another feel uncomfortable, and at the perfect moment. It was strange how this all continued now that Akame thought about it. While the two were now friends, they would have to see what would bug the other. The irony...

A ghost of a grin parted Aedre's lips due to Akame's words. There was a certain relief in knowing that she wasn't tied down by the rules of her guild. Independence, freedom, those were the words that Aedre could see resonating from her acquaintance. Qualities that she herself prized and lived by as well. Though her loyalty to Savage Skull was undeniable; the Guild and not even Harrigan could influence much of her actions. She had always been the free bird- who only subjected herself to orders that she deemed worthy of her time. For some reason, she found Akame somewhat similar, maybe the first quality that they both shared. Maybe, just maybe, they were more similar than they thought. Perchance, their contradictory spheres of life were what determined and shaped them into who they were currently.

Akame shook her by the hand for the second time that day, albeit this one serving a different purpose than the first. Previously, they were just acquaintances, now, they had a relation joining them. Right now, the general idea was to know much more than just each other's names and faces; they'd need to understand each other... And it was going to be a tough job, considering that Aedre was already facing some challenges in the same task. Right now, she relied on the game to help her figure out this new-found friend. Intuitions were down the drain, for she was just padding through the darkness.

Aedre retrieved her hand from the friendly gesture- once again, maybe a little too quick. Unbeknownst to herself, she still wasn't very comfortable with physical shows of affection, regardless of the relation. She had her past to blame for that; but, then again, she didn't even realize it to be able to blame it.

Around the same time, Akame's choice also resounded within her consciousness, making her chuckle ever-so-lightly. It almost seemed as if she wanted Aedre to take this game more seriously, perhaps to offer a better challenge than the last. Her emerald eyes prodded the other woman's expression for a while, trying to figure out the person behind that well-kept nonchalant face. Then with a disappointed click of her tongue, she reclined in her position in annoyance. This encounter was atleast helping her understand how unpleasant people around her feel when Aedre keeps that same act up. It gnawed at her insides.

"Alright. Wear all your clothes inside out~" She cooed, a smirk forming on her face, as her chin propped onto the palm of her hand- watching out for Akame's reaction. Not like she expected any extravagant response, having understood full well that the Sabertooth mage was on par with herself in this contest of holding back facial expressions. For Aedre, this game had turned into much more about the reactions, rather than the uncomfortableness that was meant to be felt.

"If you want to, you can change over there." Her hand pointed out a cluster of trees nearby, with enough shade and branches to hide Akame- provided she chose to go there. Aedre's real motive behind this was just to test if Akame would dare to unclothe herself in the open; like Aedre had to or, would she choose the seclusion provided by the trees. Of course, she could have went with the same dare as Akame had given in the first place and reach up to what she wanted to know. But that would end up giving the game a sort of monotony and Aedre didn't hope for that. Besides, an indirect motive spiced things up for Aedre herself. She was now left with the curiosity of what Akame would do- a curiosity that was killing her.

So, she observed, a light smirk adorning her visage and a glint in her eye.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 20th December 2014, 5:08 pm

Akame looked at Aedre with a bit of concern while the handshake seemed too brief to be considered a heart-warming moment, as the woman expected. Was Aedre not used to this? Akame felt concerned, yet at the same time, saddened to see that maybe she was not as significant as she thought to the white-haired lady. She kept recalling this moment as if it were the highlight of the two's encounter- as if the two were only minor friends. Akame hoped this was not the case. She had encountered temporary friends before, and was left depressed. However, what Aedre mentioned earlier was almost like a contract. The two shared a bond now, though they would have to be careful about the concern of others; being caught by their respective guilds. They would have to avoid their guilds' attentions towards their friendship, or shortly act as if they were against each other, should another Sabertooth or Savage Skull Mage get in the way of their next encounter- whenever that may be. Akame felt like commenting on the brief handshake, though she also felt as if she had no position to, as if Aedre had a purpose for everything she had done, thus far. Yes, that must have been it. On the contrary, if Aedre was not used to handshakes, could Akame not use it against her in this game? That would be one heck of a surprise, wouldn't it?

While the game proceeded, Akame found that she was in the position of being forced to do something similar to what she had asked of Aedre during the first round of this game. Instead of being forced to go fully naked, Akame would have to change so her clothes were inside-out. There was something wrong with this. Aedre had also offered Akame the chance to hide in some trees nearby to change, yet there was something about that which repelled Akame, generally. Would that not signify her feeling uncomfortable- the condition of losing this game? Akame could not dare to do such a thing, and so a smirk appeared on her face. "You almost got me." Akame commented, "Going into those trees would've meant a wish of staying away from another person; an act of discomfort. Should I have done that, you would have won." Akame had no choice now. She would have to change in front of Aedre, though the gust of winds surrounding this place still had a bit of energy left to cover outsiders for just a few more minutes. It was funny. Akame had done this for Aedre's sake, originally, yet now she was doing it for herself.

Akame undressed herself from the top first, still noticing the fact that she had once been forced to draw a circle around the most self-conscious part of her body; the black circle that would surround her breast if she wore the shirt in public. While she was simply in a bra, Akame giggled slightly. "You really are a worthy competitor." Akame remarked, "I'm glad I'm sharing a game like this with somebody like you." Akame's inner self was still annoyed with the fact that she was bound to expose a brief moment of nudity in order to complete the dare. Every part of her clothing was forced to be worn inside-out, after all. Before she unclipped her bra, Akame removed her pants and sandals. At this point, she was just wearing a bra and panties, her clothes discarded over a patch of clean grass, set neatly so they would not get stained by nature.

Akame finally unclipped her bra and slipped her panties off, revealing her naked body. She wondered what Aedre might of thought of this, seeing Akame exposed. Akame did not want to be nude too long, however, and so she swiftly, yet carefully went through the pile of discarded clothing again, and adjusted it so all pieces were inside out. Once this was done, Akame dressed herself again, though she did not look as nice under these conditions. Thankfully, she had wore some clothes that would not reveal her physical being too well while the attire was inside-out. "How do I look?" Akame joked. No longer did Akame wear that poker face, but rather enjoyed herself from this point, onwards. Well, she was enjoying herself already, but wanted to inform Aedre that she really was having fun. Again, Akame locked eyes with Aedre. "So, what shall it be?" Akame asked

Akame's comment about Aedre being close to victory sort of startled the white-haired woman. Her eyebrows scrunched up as she listened to the other woman's explanation and gasped lightly. Apparently, Akame had seen her motives in an entirely different light than what they really were. Aedre never meant to win the game by letting her opponent feel discomfort, but instead she only wanted to witness the other Slayer's choice and come up with a better and more solid image about her. Instead, Aedre's dare for Akame had somehow brought her closer to winning the little game. She smirked lightly, at none other than herself, finding her lack of experience with this game rather amusing.

As Akame proceeded with undressing herself, Aedre scrutinized her un-bashfully. She didn't find the moment embarrassing for herself, so the idea of looking away didn't make its way to her mind. Afterall, if the woman had no qualms with undressing herself, then why would she find the moment awkward if someone else did the same? Aedre listened to Akame's compliment, something that made her smile inwardly. If anything, the Slayer reciprocated the same thoughts; albeit it lacked the competitive spirit. She was face to face with the realization that Akame's experience with this game was her biggest strength- and that was one of the reasons Aedre found herself trying hard to match up to her opponent's level. She saw Akame as a worthy competitor too, but she was keenly focused on learning a hell lot more from her. Besides, Aedre's mind wasn't clouded with the idea of winning the game- so that helped her stay rational and clear with her mind, thus trying to seize the right opportunity to learn something new about this foreign game instead of trying to win.

"Me too." She replied, keeping her words cut short almost instinctively, while her mind already romped and thought about her next decision in the game. Would it be truth or dare for her? Aedre was definitely expecting that question from Akame any second now. It was just better to think in advance, lest she might stumble with her words. Just when she came up with an answer for her small dilemma, Aedre happened to hear Akame's question and just let her piercing gaze flit over the woman who had now dressed back- only in a much comical way.

A small grin cricked up Aedre's lips, "Beautiful~ Inside-out is always beautiful. It signifies the people who look different in society's eyes, yet choose to not hide who and what they truly are... inside that visual exterior." She explained, honesty lacing her words. There was one thing about Akame; her presence didn't make Aedre hold back much of her thoughts. She knew that Akame didn't agree with many of her thoughts, but she still seemed to respect them. That was the key factor to why Aedre happened to voice a lot of her opinions--- Guess she should have found someone like this lady sooner, huh?

    "Truth or Dare?"

"It'll be a dare." Aedre replied, gazing back into Akame's eyes, a bemused smile upon her lips; waiting for her new-found friend to tear down any and all walls of mercy. Only then, could they call this a challenge, right?

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Akame smiled lightly and looked at herself after Aedre's compliment. However, there was something wrong with what the other woman had said. "Is there truly such a thing as being 'ordinary'?" Akame questioned, "I find myself different from society, anyway, and every person I see is different, as well. Nobody possesses the same quality as the other in this world, so is there really such a thing as being different?" Akame further examined herself, which could come out awkward to anyone. However, she did feel a bit weird with her clothes worn in such an odd manner; inside-out. She wondered how long this game would last so she could return her clothes to their rightful state. By now, the gusts of wind had disappeared, and Akame's magic was replenished after some natural wind was absorbed, in exchange. "Albeit, thanks for the compliment!" Akame added.

When Aedre declared what she wanted a dare, Akame's smile widened. The concept of being different allowed her to come up with an interesting treat to unleash upon Aedre. Whether it would put Aedre under discomfort was entirely up to her, of course, though Akame had surely gained a hint of how Aedre responded to certain situations after explaining the role of oneself in society. "I'm glad you're not just throwing dares at me." Akame commented, "You seem to have a purpose for everything you do, and a strong one at that. It just makes me wonder what kind of response you will give to my ultimate question after I win." Akame was teasing Aedre at this point. She felt the game was getting too serious to be fun, so she had to change that a little. She felt even a woman like Aedre would enjoy having fun when she got the opportunity, which Akame allowed during this time. It was even shown in her eyes while the two gazed at each other that Akame wished the best from the other woman; both in this game and in life. This was no longer child's play, but rather a unique way of really understanding who the other was; inside and out, just like Akame's clothing, currently.

"I dare you to show me a great, passionate, physical sign of affection- far greater than the handshake we shared earlier." Akame replied. She knew how Aedre felt about affection, but what if the world changed. What if this one area was the place where both could be happy, where the two could feel much more comfortable about life, and not feel awkward being around other people. The two were friends, after all. The action would be entirely up to Aedre, and at this point, Akame had hinted that she would show no resistance to whatever the other woman would do for her. If Aedre could feel comfortable around one Legal Mage, Akame wanted it to be her. No longer did she want this world to be halved, but understood. She could not let her guild know that though, otherwise she may be booted, for all she knew. She figured it would take a much longer time than this game to adjust the mindset of her guildmates- other than Hikari. Hikari was in a different category, for she was with a Savage Skull member, already.

One day, Aedre would find someone she would show great signs of affection towards, whether it'd be another friend or more. Akame was sure of it. Companionship was a key factor in life, and deep down, Akame knew Aedre understood this concept. Therefore, Akame wanted to see if her body would just be used as practice for this upcoming event, or if she would be that friend. Life was made full of everlasting potential, which every seemed to seek out for personal gain. Everyone wanted to become better in various ways- endless ways, in fact. Akame wanted to change herself as she would eventually age, and was sure Aedre felt the same way. Since the two were now friends, there was one path that both shared. Aside from this all, Akame wondered what would come first in Aedre's mind if she ever thought of passionate signs of physical affection. Her poker face returned to not leave the Tempest Demon Slayer open to giving away any hints, or possible answers, but rather these options would all be in the mind of Aedre. It would definitely be difficult for Aedre to understand, seeing as both handshakes today were too brief to consider affectionate. You could say this was probably one of the best dares Akame could offer throughout the entirety of this game. From this point, she just awaited Aedre's response. A light smile appeared on Akame's face while she awaited this sign of affectionate.

    CONTRADICTIONS

Akame's question brought forth an understanding smile on Aedre's face, as if she was already expecting some sort of retialiation from the other woman. She nodded a bit, clearly indicating that she agreed with her friend's views, before taking the opportunity to reply, "Indeed. Everyone's different- but only a handful of them would proudly walk with that difference. As humans, most of us try to just fit in, don't we? Most of our daily activities are dictated by what the society has been following for ages and our minds have little to no say over them. Why? Because we would never think of doing it differently, never would our thoughts jump out of the box- because we grow up ordinarily... and let the ordinary be ordinary. If a person wants to showcase the aspect of them that's different, they become an abomination in the society. Of course, they stand out; and that could be either good or bad. For the people in search of their fifteen minutes of fame, its wonderful being unique and different. But if your difference is frowned upon... then the courage to wear it out and proud is a rare jewel."

All this time, Aedre was watching Akame closely, observing her mannerisms and everything. For some reason, she felt obliged to understand this woman in a much better way. As if it would help her in some way- perhaps in improving the friendship they had just initiated. So, when her smile widened as a reaction to Aedre's choice of dare- the white-haired woman knew that her challenger had something devious up her sleeve. Even her words seemed teasing to say the least; and almost made her lose composure with the last word, "And what exactly makes you think that you'd win?" Aedre questioned, her own voice laced with the same playfulness that Akame's words exhibited. If she was playing this game, she may as well have some fun with it, right? There was no need to be her usual, rigid self.

However, the dare that Akame voiced zapped Aedre out of her playful side and slammed her quite harshly on the ground. Within a second, she stood on a precipice that allowed her to witness the seriousness of this game. Of course, it was something that both the woman agreed on playing with the idea of knowing and understanding each other in a better way--- or atleast, that was why Aedre agreed on participating. She was meant to step out of her comfort zone, her conventional ways and play along whatever way her challenger pulled the strings towards. So, it only made sense when Akame took advantage of Aedre's weakness and used it against her. But what miffed the white-haired woman most, was how Akame even realized of it. She hadn't shown any sign of retreat when it came to physical affection, had she?

Then it hit her. Real hard. Akame's words itself were the clue. The handshakes... She probably retrieved into her cocoon really fast. It was a problem that Aedre was aware of, yet chose to completely ignore. It was a negative aspect of her that she never chose to improvise in. For the woman never cared or thought about friends, a lover or any corny relationship that would need a display of physical affection. Even if not thinking of it is a bit of an overstatement, it still didn't change the fact that Aedre never expected herself to be in that position. In other words, she liked being alienated from these kind of relationships.

Yet, here she was- already having gotten herself into such a friendship. She had just exceeded her own expectations... rather brilliantly.

The woman shook her head lightly, bringing her mind back to think about what kind of affection would reach upto whatever expectations Akame held. Not like Aedre meant to live upto them or anything, but it was just that if she failed to meet them, it probably meant her loss in this game. Her action to the dare in place must satisfy all the conditions of the dare; that was the only thing on her mind. She pondered on the words- great, passionate and physical, most importantly, better than a handshake.

The first thing that came to the lady's mind was... a kiss? The thought made blood rush up to her face and she averted Akame's eyes to look towards the sea.
'No way.' She firmly held the answer for her brain, since the presence of her perverse side made her want to bang her head against a wall. You don't kiss people you've just befriended! Even if their words make it seem like they wanted it... or maybe not, cause it was just Aedre's head trying to make light of the situation in anyway it saw fit.

With a sigh, the woman came up to the next idea, 'A hug could settle it, right?' Aedre found herself wondering, but then her rational mind came up with a befitting reply for that dilemma. Hugs are not passionate, are they? At this point, the Slayer was in this land for dumbs situation- for she couldn't come with a solution. She was just forced to question her existence as human... In all seriousness, she understodd that any normal person would know what to do in this situation; but despite of that, she didn't... Why in the world had people in her life not prepared her for this? Seemed so much more likely to happen rather than her having to slay a God, right?

"Alright." Aedre found herself quipping her thoughts, as she came up to a conclusion that almost made her feel feverish. Her discomfort wasn't etched onto her face or posture, but just tumolted within her own mind. The woman was not at all sure if she was doing the right thing. But, she found herself telling that it were her instincts and inutitions that mattered at the moment.

The white-haired woman had leaned forward by now, her eyes boring into her friend's, while her hand pushed away any strands of stray hair from Akame's face. Without another thought, she placed a light peck on the other woman's cheek- which, in her eyes; was a sign of friendly affection. Something she'd witnessed on the streets and had just copied now.

As she pulled back, Aedre had a light smirk on her face, "Is that passionate enough?" Her voice sounded confident, but it was feigned- honestly speaking, she was ready to lose.

A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame Empty Re: A Crossing Of Two Contradictions | Private | Aedre & Akame

Post by Guest 25th December 2014, 8:59 pm

Akame had to admit. What Aedre was beginning to say was right. She laughed softly, just thinking of how countless theories thought out to create society actually contradict each other. Is there a perfect world awaiting us? Yes? No? Maybe? There was no proof, no matter what Akame thought. Yes, she had presumed that anybody could always think of improving at any time and any space, yet the world could change people, as well. Therefore, could an utopia actually change the persona of all, making them all believe in the same thing, or was Akame right? Was it okay to be distinct, or was it okay to be the same...eventually? The thoughts began to hurt Akame in her head and chest before she stopped thinking, in general.

Not a single sign of her frustration could be seen on her face this entire time while she was once pondering thoughts. Right now, she was awaiting Aedre's response to her dare, which she happened to receive long after what she had expected, and more to it than she anticipated. She had just received a light kiss on the cheek, then a comment questioning what the other female had just done. "Yes ma'am!" Akame replied jokingly. She wondered what Aedre must of thought after she had performed this quick peck on her cheek, but yet again, she was quick. Pace was Aedre's ultimate weakness in this game, which Akame could always see and target, no matter what. "I sense your discomfort." Akame remarked, "You're quick in any sense. Is being slow out of your comfort zone?" Akame was just teasing Aedre at this point, though the other woman must have known it was true. This may have been the winning factor, but honestly, Akame was ashamed. She thought this game would be more fun, and less intense than even she noticed she was making it.

"I have a proposition for you." Akame said out of the blue, "You seemed overly confident before this game started, so I am going to shatter that confidence. You have two choices, just as this game does- always. You can either ask an honest question that I must answer, or give a dare that I must perform. After that, I do the same for you. Whoever can make the opponent hesitate for a longer period of time is the winner. Make this one move your strongest, as if it is your only chance at success." Akame grinned, feeling cheap by putting this game at its final moment so quickly and suddenly, yet impressed that she could have thought of such a brilliant idea. This was a quick move, after all, so how must Aedre feel if the game escalated so rapidly? From just testing each other, the two must now put each other at their limits. Albeit, Akame was quite scared, herself, seeing as if Aedre could bear the sudden change in this game, she would probably have quite the gift in store for her new friend. Of course, she would have to expect that Akame held just a big, if not bigger threat than Aedre held. They both had potential to be a winner, and that's all that mattered. However, what mattered especially was that the winner would have to be determined now.

Akame grinned more deviously while she thought of the best idea possible. She would not hint towards anything, though with all of the past experiences in mind during this game, she had made up the ultimate concluding statement for Aedre. Both had the ability of giving either an honest question or dare to the other person, and neither could protest. It was great, in Akame's opinion. When she thought about it, this whole meeting was interesting. It all started from an accidental encounter from a fall over something on the ground, and now, it was a challenge to understand one another. The two changed quickly from strangers to friends. All of it was quick. Could Aedre bear it? Akame felt guilty for being so mean with her decisions, but it was the only way to win this game, and get the answer from Aedre that she desired.

She stared Aedre down while she gestured her to think of the first move; to perform it. Akame was the host of the game, so if she had any advantage over this game, it was deciding turns. However, she would have to be equal at all times, and abide by her rules. Rules! Something she had forgot to remind Aedre of! "Don't forget the same laws apply. You cannot ask or dare me to respond to or do something that may endanger my life. It cannot be physically painful, nor can it be something too inappropriate to declare in this game." Akame smirked, assuming she had taken control of this game, though she could always be wrong. Akame wanted to win, yet she also wanted to lose, at the same time. She was not sure if Aedre could notice it, but each question and dare did seem to identify her limits, as the same identified Akame's. Inevitably, Akame had won somehow. She had declared a game that would allow her the chance to know more about her opponent despite how much she wanted to hide. Akame wondered if her question were even that important anymore, hence she wondered if losing was so important to avoid. Albeit, winning was always better, of course.
