    Magic

    Primary Magic: Sky Dragon Slayer
    Secondary Magic:
    Caster or Holder: Lost Magic/Holder
    Description: A type of magic which grants the user various characteristics belonging to a Sky Dragon, allowing them to incorporate the element of air into their body. The first characteristic is the ability to heal magic, or rather regenerate it. The second characteristic is the ability to heal external and internal body damage; even life-threatening wounds. Finally, this kind of magic allows the user to manipulate the components of air, itself. Throughout past generations, this magic has been used as a form of Caster Magic. However, as one who has recently come to visit the Dragon Age, itself, Ayato has been granted the opportunity to harness the power from Grandine, herself, and channel the magic into his own sacred book and sword. Because of this, for the first time in history, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic has become a Holder Magic, though its origins still remain lost to most, hence it also being known as a "Lost Magic". Not only this, but the book has also become a separate sword, renowned as Starlight.

    Ayato uses this magic by exposing both swords to natural air. The natural air encircles his sword, the Elucidator, and shrouds it in a white aura. Meanwhile, the natural air also encircles Ayato's second, Starlight, and awakens an everlasting chain of magic- until Ayato is out of magic power, of course. This chain of magic introduces the ability of Dual-Wielding, and allows for simultaneous assaults. The swords move at various speeds, while spells are expelled at an even faster rate, though still different according to the spells Ayato uses. Should the expulsion of magic fail to strike the target with one sword, the magic energy (spell) will immediately swap over to the other sword, where it can be used a second time. Should both swords to strike the target successfully, the spell will enter a cool-down state.
    Aura Type:
    Strengths:

    • Dual-Wielding- This magic is channeled through two swords, which allow for simultaneous attacks.
    • Control- As Sky Dragon Slayer Magic allows for control over air/wind, the user can utilize the air to produce wind-like disaster such as gusts or tornadoes. The power is situational based on spell power and magic power. To produce an ordinary tornado or gust of wind costs 10 MP.
    • Wind- Sky Dragon Slayer magic is the elemental superior of wind, and grants the user various resistances to the element depending on the rank of the spell.


    Weaknesses:

    • Air- Ayato cannot absorb his own air produced by spells or eat any wind that is mixed with other components.
    • Limited Altitudes and Ranges- The user can only absorb wind/air from limited ranges (for spells) or utilize the air to fly at limited altitudes.
    • Fire- Any fire-related magic will always defeat Sky Dragon Slayer Magic as long as the spells are of equal ranks.

    Lineage: Pride of the Mercenary
    Unique Abilities:

    • Absorption- Ayato can absorb natural air to increase MP by various amounts
    • The Components of the Sky- Ayato can manipulate the properties of the sky above to fly at a maximum altitude of 25 meters. The duration of this ability is 3 posts, with a five-post cool-down. His speed in the air is equivalent to his running speed on ground level.
    • Swap- Between his swords, Ayato can strategically, and immediately relocate which sword holds a specific spell to increase the chances of success when unleashing an assault upon a target. This can only be done once per sword before the spell fades away.
    • Speed- Ayato can manipulate the speed of wind to run twice as fast as the average Mage for his rank.

    Name: Sky Dragon Slayer's Glory Drive
    Rank: D
    Type: Wind/Offensive
    Description: Ayato instantaneously channels magic power from his body to his two swords, unleashing auras of wind encircling their blades. The auras of wind cover the entire length of Ayato's arms, and run at 40MPH. Their reach is 10 meters, though the wind contains rippling effects able to inflict severe wounds upon one's body. Ayato charges the enemy with one sword and lunges the blade towards them. As this is done, the wind expels and aims forward for the target. If struck, the wind will rise upwards to send the enemy airborne before disappearing. Should the first sword fail, however, the speed properties of one sword will transfer over to the other, and attempt to perform the same technique. Doing so will not cause twice the damage, though twice the rippling effect, instead.
    Strengths:

    • Rippling Effect- This technique extracts force that can cause severe wounds to a living target, thus weakening their physical form if struck successfully.
    • Dual-Wield- Should the first attempt of striking the enemy with this vicious wind fail, the second sword will instantly inherit the aura of the first sword, and double the technique's original speed. Additionally, the rippling effect will become more threatening.
    • Water- This technique does 50% additional D-Ranked damage towards Mages who specialize with water.

    Weaknesses:

    • Swap- Techniques that utilize the ability of swapping cost 150% D-Ranked magic power
    • Fire- This spell does 50% less damage against Mages who specialize with fire
    • Short-Distance- The target must be 10-meters away for this spell to resolve successfully
    • Vulnerability- Being 10-meters away allows for opposing spells to become more effective, should this spell fail.
    • Duration/Cool-Down- This spell is instant, and must undergo a three-post cool-down after the spell disappears.


    Name: Arcrados
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive/Supportive/Wind
    Description: The user spreads magic throughout their body to unleash a blue aura. This blue aura enhances the user's magic by 150%, and also gives an additional effect to the user, should he attack the opponent immediately after the spell is casted. If the user attacks the opponent immediately after this spell is used, should he fail to connect one sword with the target, he will reappear behind the target with an additional 50% speed, and strike again with the second sword. This swapping of positions is immediate. The aura generally boosts Ayato's speed by 40MPH, which means if his first attempt of hitting the opponent fails, this new boost will become 60MPH.
    Strengths:

    • Speed- Multiplied greatly throughout the usage of this spell
    • Swap- Allows the user to instantly reappear behind the target, should he fail to strike the opposition with his first strike, and with an additional speed boost.
    • Dual-Wield- With two swords, a simultaneous attack can be done with ease (which Ayato possesses

    Weaknesses:

    • Extra Cost- This spell costs 1.5 amounts of D-Ranked magic power
    • Melee- In order to gain the additional speed boost for a second attack, the first attack must be attempted with a sword
    • Situational- The user must have another spell on Cool-down to activate this spell
    • The Block- The user can only reappear behind the enemy if he is blocked by an attack. If he suffers damage in the process, the user cannot reappear behind the enemy, as the spell states.
    • Duration/Cool-down- The duration of this spell is one post. The cool-down of this spell is three posts.


    Name: Sky Dragon Slayer's Twin Tornado Blades
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive/Wind/Buffing
    Description: The user channels magic from his body and into the two swords, making a blue aura appear around their blades, wind gathering around them to form whirlwinds. Once that is done, the user proceeds to hurl at the enemy, striking the target with the swords, still covered in whirlwinds. The whirlwinds' main function is to increase the damage by the swords, making them deal D-Ranked damage which each hit. If this fails, the swapping effect of this magic will have the user reappear above the enemy, attempting to do the same thing as before.
    Strengths:

    • Double Damage- If all goes well, the user can inflict two hits of D-Ranked damage to the opponent with a single spell
    • Swap- If the spell fails, the user can immediately reappear above the target and attempt to do the spell over again
    • The Whirlwinds- If the whirlwinds connect with the target, they can create minor wounds on the opponent's body, even if the spell fails.

    Weaknesses:

    • Extra Cost- This spell costs 1.5 amounts of D-Ranked magic power
    • Relocation- In order to relocate oneself above the user, both swords must fail to hit the target; not just one
    • Prerequisite- Another spell equivalent to the user's rank must be used prior to this spell's activation and resolve
    • Fire- Fire of equal rank will instantly render this spell useless
    • Duration/Cool-down- The duration of this spell is one post. The cool-down of this spell is three posts


    Name: Sky Dragon Slayer's Holy Healing
    Rank: D
    Type: Supportive/Wind/Healing
    Description: The user channels magic from their body and onto the two swords, creating a blue aura to surround the two blades. The user then proceeds to place either of the two swords on a minor wound, making the wound heal instantly, and halve the cool-down of a currently idle spell, simultaneously.
    Strengths:

    • Body- This spell heals minor bodily damage immediately
    • Magic Reserve- This spell drains another spell by half of its original cool-down
    • Optional- It matters not which sword is placed upon the user to heal, allowing another sword to act on the defensive if the opponent attempts to strike while this spell is intact

    Weaknesses:

    • Prerequisites- Two spells must be used prior to this one for the healing to activate and resolve properly
    • Cool-down Effect- The spell that is halved of its cool-down must be of equal rank
    • Minor Healing- The spell only boosts the user's health by 5%
    • Situational- The user must have lost 20 or more health already for this spell to activate and resolve properly
    • Duration/Cool-down- The duration of this spell is one post. The cool-down of this spell is four posts

    I see where you are trying to go with this but as the actual Sky DS this magic will have to be a caster type. This magic cannot be a holder type unless it is a lacrima version of this. You will have to register your swords and book as a weapon.
    Aura Type:
    Strengths:

    • Dual-Wielding- This magic is channeled through two swords, which allow for simultaneous attacks.
    • Free of Illness- Sky Dragon Slayers, unless through the typical Transportation Illness, do not get sick due to the regenerating powers of Sky Dragon Slayer magic. Being a Dragon Slayer does not give you any sort of resistance to illness so this will need to be changed. BTW according to lore as the Sky DS you are the only slayer who does not get motion sick.
    • Poison- Sky Dragon Slayer magic is the elemental superior of poison, and grants the user various resistances to the element depending on the rank of the spell. As the Sky DS you really only get resistance vs wind type attacks. Please change.


    Weaknesses:

    • Air- Ayato cannot absorb unnatural air, such as his own Dragon Slayer Magic, or air other Mages produce. You can still eat air/wind magic that other mages produce. You just can't absorb your own air/wind or mixed air/wind.
    • Transportation Sickness- The typical Dragon Slayer illness. Unless his mode of transportation is alive, Ayato will become very nauseous and dizzy upon most modes of transportation. As the Sky DS you are the only slayer who doesn't get motion sickness due to lore.
    • Fire- Any fire-related magic will cause an additional 50% damage to Ayato, for it is his element's superior. You won't take more damage for being a Sky DS but instead you can say that your magic is weaker to fire magic here. Basically equal spell rank to any of your fire spells will beat them out in a clash type of thing.

His speed in the air is equivalent to his maximum speed on ground level. This ability needs a duration and a CD. Also you mean his speed in the air is equal to his running speed?
    • Swap- Between his swords, Ayato can strategically, and immediately relocate which sword holds a specific spell to increase the chances of success when unleashing an assault upon a target. This can only be done once per sword before the spell fades away. There needs to be more of an effect here for this. An MP cost along with a CD after use. If you want to you can state that each spell is different with this and has different weaknesses here instead.
    • Speed- Ayato can manipulate the speed of wind to run twice as fast as the average Mage for his rank. This ability seems more like a spell IMO.

Doing so will not cause twice the damage, though twice the rippling effect, instead. Seeing as having twice the rippling effect doesn't do anything really I think you can drop this part. Also are you shooting this at an enemy or hitting them with the wind with the blade itself? If this is shot out I need to have a range that the wind shoots out and a speed that it shoots out at.

Some spells are stronger against others but you will not do more damage to a mage unless you hit a person while they are in a elemental form-like body and with their weakness. Also wind is not strong against water technically. If you can explain how this is stronger then I will possibly let you have it here.

    • Fire- This spell does 50% less damage against Mages who specialize with fire Again this spell won't do less damage but it will lose if it clashes with a fire spell of equal rank.

This swapping of positions is immediate. The aura generally boosts Ayato's speed by 40MPH, which means if his first attempt of hitting the opponent fails, this new boost will become 60MPH. Sorry but this spell should only be a buff spell especially because it is a D-rank spell but at the same time this effect you have after is mostly something you can do yourself without adding it here. Also this buff increase is way too high. 50% should be best here and please stat which stats are boosted here if it is not just magic.
    Strengths:

    • Speed- Multiplied greatly throughout the usage of this spell Change this to a speed increase.
    • Swap- Allows the user to instantly reappear behind the target, should he fail to strike the opposition with his first strike, and with an additional speed boost. Sorry but this spell would be doing too much otherwise and would be breaking from being a simple buff spell.
    • Dual-Wield- With two swords, a simultaneous attack can be done with ease (which Ayato possesses This is too obvious please change this.

    Weaknesses:

    • Extra Cost- This spell costs 1.5 amounts of D-Ranked magic power You can drop this if you want and change it.
    • Melee- In order to gain the additional speed boost for a second attack, the first attack must be attempted with a sword Seeing as you won't have the second attack anymore this part will have to be changed.
    • Situational- The user must have another spell on Cool-down to activate this spell
    • The Block- The user can only reappear behind the enemy if he is blocked by an attack. If he suffers damage in the process, the user cannot reappear behind the enemy, as the spell states. This part will have to be dropped like the earlier part seeing as it supports the second attack.
    • Duration/Cool-down- The duration of this spell is one post. The cool-down of this spell is three posts. You can increase this duration to 2 posts if you want.

So how do you suddenly have an attack with you appearing around the opponent? Please drop this second effect seeing as it doesn't make sense with what this spell is doing really.

    • Prerequisites- Two spells must be used prior to this one for the healing to activate and resolve properly

    Please delete this thread. After debating with myself if this magic would even be acceptable, it would not, in my opinion. I just love my original magic too much to discard it. Sorry for the inconveniences.
