Having grown up to become one of the top students of the very secretive 'Northern Blade' Sect, one would expect Luka to be just as peculiar and arrogant as her fellow students, but that is hardly the case. She knows where she is coming from, who taught her and what that means to her status in certain regions, but she hardly ever cared about any of that in the bigger picture. Possibly influenced due to her particular genes that also cause her slightly animalistic appearance, she always strove for her own freedom and independence while also enjoying the company of people. She's a free spirit who trusts her knowledge and instincts above all else. In pursuit of that freedom she's adapted a personality that some might call unusual for a swordsman, in that she has a rather carefree attitude and doesn't rally like meddling in a stranger's business if she has the choice. Due to her carefreeness she is often found in a rather good mood, not worrying about the worlds problems and only minding her own goals. If being bothered though, she is rather quick to act to remove problems at once and can instantly switch to an aggressive or even bloodlusty mood. The latter goes especially so for those she cares about for which she may take on a sort of alpha wolf personality when in danger. Due to her strong sense of smell she's sure to remember whoever has wronged her and will hunt them down.

Yes, once one looks deeper then her outer layer of 'uncaringness', she is actually rather vicious, already seen by her tendencies to solve problems with violence, which more often then not gets her into trouble. Thoughj it is true that unless she gets provoked to fight or is on an active job she will try to never harm others intentionally, but is on the other hand ready to sacrifice lifes. As a former mercenary  she knows when to supress her needs for the better of a group and doesn't mind doing so, being even quick to act when need in others arises. Different from other magicians, she doesn't have any grand aspiration of achieving immortality or her own kingdom or whatever such people might desire. The mission given by her clan was to explore the world and come back when she has honed her swordsmanship, but she never planned on coming back and instead is pursuing her swordsmanship for herself in the belief that she needs strength to even have a place in this world to an extent that she doesn't even want to fantasize what the future might hold. In a sense she's obsessed with her idea of strength and freedom.

Based on her her background, she doesn't refer to magic as such, but instead calls it 'Qi' or 'Ki' and might also be referring to it as 'sword energy' when referring to herself or other swordsmen using magical power. She also has a vastly different understanding of said 'Ki' as in that she is used to training it through meditation and finds magical artifacts, lacrimas and items to be treasures and likes collecting them for no aparrent reason other then posessing them and keeping them as her own little treasures. Luka also likes to give rankings to things to herself better compare strengths and dangers.

• Alcohol - Not just anyone can offer her alcohol and start a casual conversation with her. Luka enjoys drinking for herself and is on of those people who actually appreciate the taste of alcohol. She never drinks enough to get drunk and is well aware of how much she can handle. She can also take quite a bit of alcohol before having to stop.
     
  
• Pizza - It's like pie but far superior, you can put meat on it, vegetables and whatever else you can think of. She's so in love with pizza that her diet might be a bit onesided at times.
     
  
• Meditating - It's part of her training and the way she accumulates 'Qi'. Don't bother during this or she might get agressive. This is also a favorite way to relax after a long day.
  
  
• Magical items - As mentioned earlier she see's these as treasure no matter the size and actual value.
  
  
• Hunting - Maybe ingrained in her genes but maybe also just a hobby she enjoys. When travelling she frequently refers to this method of collecting food when travelling. No matter how big something is, there's always a way to hunt it, might just need a bigger sword.
     
  

   Dislikes:
   

   
• Keeping overly many secrets - She herself doesn't like being entrusted many secrets and doesn't like sharing them, it just puts pressure on the one being told. In the same vein she doesn't like people who only shroud themselves in secrets and lies, they are not to be trusted, even if the reveal their secrets.
     
  
• Being told what to do - Unless she voluntarily signed up for it, don't bother with this, she's likely not gonna do it. She will even outright tell teammates and friends if she disagrees with something.
     
  
• Violence for the sake of violence - Doesn't need much explanation, she likes a peaceful life and hopes those around her may enjoy the same.
  
  
• Being bothered - She's not just gonna shoo anyone who approaches her away, but she'll make it sure when she doesn't want company, at which point one better turn away and leave her in peace.
     
  
• Narrow places - Her character makes her particularly sensitive to being trapped or locked in marrow places. A short moment is ok, but longer time will make her anxious and restless.
  
  

   Motivations:
   

   
• Strength - She wants to protect herself and those she'd care for. She doesn't particularly care for using her strength itself to use for a grand goal.
     
  
• Meeting other swordsman - She would like to primarily learn from them, understand their insights and broaden her horizon. Although she doesn't much care for renown or fame, she does after all have a liking for the art of the sword and will always refer to it as her primary way of fighting. Fighting another swordsman may also pick her interest if the gap in power isn't too large.
     
  
• Enjoyment - What one likes may change continuosly but that doesn't stop one from chasing that which makes them happy regardless. To Luka chasing the moments right in front of her and enjoying them to the fullest is what she enjoys most. Seeking a new thrill in life is what keeps her going endlessly.
     
  

   Fears:
   

   
• Trapped - Who ever likes being trapped, bound or helpless at anyhting? This girl sure doesn't and she certainly takes prisons, cages and even just handcuffs worse then your regular trapee. Even just jokes of this sort she takes really bad.
     
  
• Loss of self control - Thias ties in to her fear of being trapped a little, but mostly goes for mind controlling magic and illusions. She is not too fond of being fooled.
     
  
• Death - Not to confuse with pain. Luka doesn't really fear pain and can take torture, but the thought death will makes her uncomfortable, she enjoys life way to much to just kick the bucket. To make this clear, once again, she feels more threatened by death then being straight up scared. The prospect of death will only make her struggle more until she actually dies, which then would be her regret. Her fear of death is so great she will never stop struggling against it.
