Day Off [Riley x Dederik

"You said zee race begins." Dederik replied to her wrongful accusation of cheating as he looked down at her dripping form. Smirking playfully as she stars to walk way, once again stating that it wasn't a date. "Don't forget to shower!" He called back to her as she left before making his way to the men's locker room himself to wash the chemicals from the pool off of himself. Stripping down he steps under the warm torrent of water, running his fingers through his white hair to rinse it all out before drying off and pulling on a grey, t-shirt and black gym shorts before walking back out.

Riley walks back out to see Dederik already showered and dressed. "Wow! That was fast." She stated as he had just proven the fact that girls take more time to dress up. She flings the bag over her right shoulder and walks over to Dederik. Slightly tilting her head upwards. "Since I'm paying for the lunch, I get to choose where we eat." She says with smile and walks towards the front door, expecting the tall, white haired man to follow her. She had a cafe in mind that was not very far away from the gymnasium.

Hearing the woman's voice Dederik's red gaze shifted over in her direction, raising an eyebrow at her outfit. "She plans to work out in that?" He thought to himself before replying. "Not like I vas dressing up. Just zee gym." The man replied before blinking at her walking towards the door, shrugging and following behind her in his gym shorts. "Eizer you are eager to eat vis me, or after one lap you are already hungry. How do you even keep in shape that way?" He replied in a teasing tone as he walked beside her, his arm lifting up to use her shoulder as an arm rest in the meantime while water slowly dripped down from his hair. The yellow bird was no where to be seen.

Brushing his long hand off her shoulder, Riley moves her head side wards, slightly tilting it while walking to look into the tall man's red eyes. "I'm not eager to eat with you. I just got hungry. In my defense I skipped breakfast and that's reason enough to go and eat after finishing one lap." She said with different hand gestures to prove her point. She averted her purple eyes to the front to prevent herself from bumping into anything, which has happened many times because of her clumsiness. "And I don't have to keep in shape. I'm naturally fabulous." She finished with a smirk which dropped quickly, "-and also because I don't care about my weight." She said with a flat look. At that moment,her stomach growled in hunger. She halted her steps and slowly tilted her head and looked at Dederik with her hand scratching the back of her head while giving him a sheepish smile.

Dederik’s red gaze shifted over as she stopped in her tracks after having been bragging. His eyebrow raising at her sheepish smile before smirking as he raised his hand in a snapping motion. “You may be fabulous my little loser, I but am.”He started to say in an arrogant tone, his finger snapping as he twisted his hand so that the back of it was facing her just when the sound echoed out of it. When it fully turned his hand was open with his palm facing the sky, and sitting on it was the yellow baby bird napping peacefully in the palm of his hand. “Magically delicious.” The man finished with a smirk as he reached out with his hand to tilt it, depositing the tiny bird on top of her head as he started to walk slowly in front of her. “Und no, I am not on zee menu for zee first date. If our second date goes vell, zen you might have a taste of me~”

"Your little loser?" Riley asks with her eyebrow raised. Her eyes slightly widened as she realized that she had completely forgotten about the bird which was now sleeping peacefully in the man's hand. "Magically delicious." He finishes his sentence to which he earns a flat look from the petite woman. Her mouth hangs open at his arrogance but is soon replaced with her childish behavior as she pretends to gag when Dederik talks about his interpretation of how the so-called date will go. Earning strange looks from the people around, Riley decides to act mature and stops her acting as he finishes talking.

Dederik continued on speaking despite the gagging noises until after he finished. Turning his attention towards Riley he looks at her with an obviously fake look of concern as he speaks once more. “Oh my, your heart must be beating so fast it is trying to escape! Do not vorry, you vill get used to it around me after all zee nights vee vill spend togeser after zese contests.” Dederik said as he held his arm out as if he was going to escort her to a fancy ball. “Shall vee?”

Taking a step away from the man, Riley's nose scrunches up as he talks about her heart beat. When he finishes with his arm held out, she gives him a pointed look. "Keep dreaming Romeo, This is the only time we're going out together. I might have lost this round but don't keep your hopes up. I won't lose again" She finishes with a confident smile and starts walking forward leaving Dederik behind "Hurry up or I'm leaving without you."

The man smirks playfully as he watches the smaller woman begin to walk off, idly following behind her to where ever their destination may be. “You do realize, zat you contradicted yourself? First you call me a handsome charmer of women, und say zat zis vould be our first und final date. Zen, you say zat you von’t lose again, implying zat vee vould have more contests. Eizer you sink zat vee vould tie in zem, or zat you vould desire a different vager.” He replied teasingly as his long stride took him to walk side by side with her, smirking down at her smaller figure. “So zen, vich vas it?”

Turning her head towards the man walking beside her, Riley glares at him. "I've made a decision. I'm going to ignore you until we reach our destination." With that she continues walking along the sidewalk. After a few minutes of walking, she stops outside a diner which happens to be none other than McDonald's. Smiling to herself, she takes a quick glance at Dederik and walks inside.

The glare seemed to have no effect on Dederik as he returned it with that teasing smile of his, speaking up after her. “Ah, different vager I see.” He said while following her, stopping as they came to the place she was going to be buying food. “… No vonder you vish for a new vager, you are broke.” He commented before following her inside.

"I'm not broke. I just love fast food. And where did you think i'd take you, a fancy restaurant?" Riley replied to him comment. She walked inside and plopped onto the chair. "So what do you wanna eat? I'm in a mood for for some grand chicken classic." At that Riley, unwilling, drooled. She kept her bag next to her seat and looked at Dederik, waiting for him to answer her question.

The foreigner blinks at the woman he had crushed in the race, not quite believing that she would love fast food enough to be her ideal place to go for food. She must either be tight on jewels if she had chosen this place, or simply was disgruntled over his victory and try to make the reward as cheap as possible. “Yes… I vould have taken you to zee best restaurant in zee city.” He replied before she headed off inside. Sitting down right next to the woman Dederik blinks at her drooling face, plucking up a napkin and instead of answering her question he wiped the strand of liquid making its way down her chin. “You do realize zat fast food is not good for your health. Eating  healthy und nutritious   meals promotes longer life spans, fewer health problems, breast growth, muscle growth und increases one’s self-esteem.”

Riley gave the man sitting opposite her a flat look. Of course she knew that fast food was bad for health. In all honesty, she herself was surprised at how she manages not to gain weight after eating all the fast food. She wasn't the richest person, but she could afford to take Dederik to a restaurant, she just chose not to. Not because she lost, but because she believes that everyone loves fast food. Or at least she prefers to believe that.

For some reason. Riley did not feel like replying back in a snarly tone. Maybe it was because there was only one person before Dederik who used to tell her to eat healthy. Only one person who used to care about her health and if needed he used to stuff salad into her mouth. A smile, unwillingly, crept onto her face at the memory.

There was that look that Dederik had been expecting when he casually threw in breast growth to the teenager, he was waiting patiently for some sort of entertaining smack or heated reply that he could turn around on her. Waiting… waiting… until finally it happened, of all things the blasted woman before him smiled causing him to blink in confusion as he looked at the woman seated right beside him. “… Are you having zee cerebrovascular insult from all zee fast food you seem to eat?” He asks before reaching up with his hand to playfully flick her forehead. “If so you vill be zee first fourteen year old I have seen to have one at such a young age… I vill have to gain legal custody of you und force feed salad dishes into zose pretty lips of yours until you get better.”

Riley still had that smile on that face until she felt a light flick on her forehead. It snapped her out of her daze. She stared at the white haired man. She hadn't felt like saying anything before but now she does. "A fourteen year old?" She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "How on earth do i look like a fourteen year old? For your information, I'm 17." She said as she crossed her hands. Her hands soon fell back to her side again. For some reason, she felt like being nice to Dederik.

Blinking at the girl Dederik raises an eyebrow while lifting his clenched hand up. His thumb jutting out as he begins to list all the ways she was so young in appearance. “Your height is not one of zee average seventeen year old, more akin to zat of a tween.” His index finger rose up while he continued on with the list. “Second, your voice is more akin vis zat of a young girl razer zan zee voice of a young voman. Thirdly, as mentioned before your body is not as developed as zat of zee average late teen in more vays zan simply height. You are underdeveloped, most likely due to zee diet you have developed. If you vis to appear zee age zat you claim you have two options. Zee easy route und magic, or zee proper route und change how you eat. You vill need plenty of nutrients vile you are still in zee adolescent stage before your body is beyond zee point of growing all togezer.”

Riley sat there with her chin resting on her hands, which were placed on the wooden table. She wasn't exactly listening to the points being listed out by the man sitting in front of her. As he was talking, she just answered with a 'Mhmm' or a muttered 'Okay' although she really didn't care. She was fine the way she was and she was happy. She gazed at the man as he kept continuing. As soon as he was done, the black haired girl smiled. "Are you done yet?" Without waiting for a reply the girl stood up and walked towards the counter. She just ordered two ice creams, which she brought back and handed one to Dederik. She was about to move out of the restaurant. "Come fast will you, we're going to eat more healthy food." She clearly emphasized on the word 'healthy'. She wasn't doing this because of what he said, although she did have slight insecurities, she did it because she didn't want to listen to any more of her flaws being pointed out.
