    Mission Information:

Ren had finally made it to beanstalk village, and he could obviously see why people were so desperate for help. The crops were all withered and covered with black thorns. Ren was ready to run away when a small old woman huddled her way up to him. "Young man? are you that guild wizard here to help us?" she asked, looking at him faithfully. Ren felt a pang of guilt just looking at her, and nodded. "Oh thank goodness! Please, go and see what you can do!" the old lady cheered, showing him to the biggest crop in the area. "Sooo, how long has this been happening?" Ren asked. "About two days ago" the old woman replied, "We haven't been able to eat much ourselves, and our farm animals are starving as well" the old lady explained. "Well don't be worried at all! I've got this!" Ren lied as he kneeled down to examine the plants, but suddenly they began to tremor violently. The old lady panicked and huddled off, and Ren inched away slowly until the plants exploded out of the ground and revealed vegetable demons. Aww, they're cute!" Ren thought to himself as he admired their cute little eyes.

The monsters appeared to be Broccoli. Ren liked broccoli, so long as there was ranch around to dip it in. "Eww, its a shorty!" one of them pointed out. "W-WHAT?! SHORTY?!" Ren shrieked. "Sounds like a girl, too!" another one replied. There were ten in total, and they were all picking fun at him. "THATS IT! I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU ALL!" Ren shrieked. He lifted up his hand and yelled "WATER LOCK!" and a dome of water burst forward sweeping up the broccoli team and Ren with it.

Ren looked over at the broccoli who were very clearly angry. They appeared to spot him through the water and began to swim over to him at an alarming pace. Ren panicked and began to turn around and swim away before one of them head butted him in the back and he fell out of the dome right onto his face. Ren didn't hear any more sounds from the water dome, so he assumed they were either still stuck in there or the fall had make him temporarily deaf. His back hurt like crazy and he didn't want to get up, but he had to if he was going to live. The genuine terror Ren held was growing slowly as he crawled his way away from the dome, and quite honestly he also wanted to cry.

Ren managed eventually to stand up and looked up at the dome. There were 9 in the dome, Ren counted. "Wait, weren't there te-" Ren was interrupted by being rammed into from the front, knocking him back onto the ground. "Murder me? You couldn't murder a butterfly if ya tried!" the broccoli teased. Ren was angered by this, and attempted to make a punch to the broccoli's face. The broccoli dodged and Ren fell forward. The broccoli rolled Ren onto his back and placed a foot on his face. "Yer mom must be so ashamed!" the broccoli spat. This was what ticked Ren off. You could make fun of his height, you could make fun of his strength, but you NEVER insulted the gentle spirit of Ren's mother. Ren gritted his teeth and pushed the broccoli off of him. He swung his left arm up, and the opposite with his right. He looked behind him and alined himself with a tree, and then looked down at the broccoli and yelled "WINGS OF LOVE!" the torrent of water ripped into the broccoli demon instantly, shooting Ren back into the tree as well. The broccoli was clearly dazed and confused, and Ren got up and stomped on the foul demon. "MY MOM IS A WONDERFUL LADY WHO WATCHES OVER MY FAMILY WITH THE KINDNESS AND LOVELINESS THAT ANYONE WOULD BE JEALOUS OF! MY MOM SUPPORTED ME THROUGH MY ENTIRE ENDEAVOR AND IF YOU TRASH TALK HER AGAIN SO HELP ME I WILL SMASH YOU INTO MUSH!" Ren yelled directly into the broccoli's face as he stomped on it.

After a bit of stomping on Ren's part, he finally let up. He had never felt so angry before, and it made him feel kind of queasy. He looked down at the broccoli demon and it appeared to be recovering from his attack. Ren smirked and felt very triumphant with himself. He hoped that someone from town was watching and would go on to tell their children, who would tell their children, and his heroic story would go on for ages. He was smiling widely, wider then he had in a long time actually, when his spirit was to be broken by the sound of the dome crashing down, releasing the rest of the broccoli herd. This was bad because he wasn't ready to attack again, as the fact his magic was never properly trained by anyone limits the amount of times he can use spells, and so the only option now was to run away.

Ren yelped and made a dash back to the tree, climbing up it with a surprising amount of skill. By now the tenth broccoli had recovered and called the others around the tree. They looked up and Ren and then back at the tree, repeating this cycle several times over. Then, they all gathered amongst themselves and whispered. Then they turned to the tree and began to slam against it. It would only be a matter of time before they knocked the tree down, so Ren had to hurry and make a plan, and fast.

Ren was panicking to figure out a plan, when he finally got one. He closed his eyes, made shaky attempts to calm his breathing, and then spoke in the calmest voice he could muster, "Water Body". He felt a strain at first, but then he began to feel lighter. He became excited, but then immediately froze and finally when he felt it was safe, opened his eyes. His entire right leg, to his misfortune, had not turned into water. He was disappointed, but had no time to try and fix it as the tree came crashing down. He quickly got up and saw that the broccoli were all charging at him. They aimed as to slam into Ren's chest and knock the air out of him, and Ren flinched in anticipation, but they simply flew threw his chest and onto the other side. The broccoli demon's were all thoroughly confused, and as such they kept trying to hit his chest, the flying back and forth amused Ren greatly, and he laughing pretty hard around the 5th time they jumped through. One of them eventually just started kicking his exposed leg. "Ow- OW!" Ren yelped. The broccoli that kicked grinned and motioned to the others, and they all began to kick his leg. "OW! OW! STOP THAT! OW!" Ren shrieked as they kicked away.

Ren began to flail his leg, and but the broccoli didn't let up. He eventually realized he could have just walked away because none of them were holding his leg, so he walked away from the broccoli. Of course they followed, but Ren kept going. He had something else in store for the broccoli. Eventually he began to feel his body get heavier, and he looked down and saw his entire body was back to normal. He stretched a little bit and then looked at the demons. "Well now, how are you going to defend yourself?" One of the broccoli asked.
    Ren smirked.
Ren's smirks were considered kind of scary because a smirk was a thing confident people do. Ren lifted up his hand to one particular bobby pin on his head, the bobby pin that was the most decorative. He grabbed it, and pulled it out of his hair, and in a flash of white, it was a beautiful sword with an elegant design. Ren felt pretty excited, he'd never had the upperhand in anything before. The broccoli looked at it with no specific expression, however eventually the one that insulted his mother came forward. The broccoli launched itself and Ren delivered a blow to the broccoli's face. It made a cut in the broccoli's face, and it appeared to be in pain. Ren smiled widely, he hadn't gotten injured that time!

The rest of the broccoli looked up and Ren angrily, and the one he had just assaulted pointed towards him. Ren began to swing his sword around, he didn't exactly have a tactic on using it other then swinging it around. Sometimes he struck, sometimes he missed, but he focused his attention on the one who had insulted his mom. Ren was still pretty upset with that one.
Eventually, the broccoli fell over and stopped moving. Ren looked down in silence at the broccoli he had slain, and this silence was soon interrupted by Ren cheering. "DID ANY OF YOU VILLAGERS SEE THAT! I GOT THEM! AAAH! AHAHA!" Ren cheered as he skipped about. His celebration was soon to be cut short, as he turned around and saw that more plants were rising. Ren felt pretty upset about this, it was already hard as it is. Maybe this time there won't be so many. Then again, whenever Ren did something he prefered not to do, it was always difficult. Difficulty seemed to follow him around, like a shadow. If he went to garden, there were snakes, if he went to swim, there were sharks. It never made sense.
Ren's train of thought was cut off when the monsters grabbed his attention. And his leg.
