Once a con man always a con man?

It was half well known that Simon trained in the arts of slight of hand and deception. Now since joining Fairy Tail, and various other adventures, Simon had laid off his tricks and gambits. He was doing honest work for an honest living, well as honest as the work of a guild mage was. But today Simon had decided that it would be a bad idea to let his talents completely rust over. One would never know when they would be needed. So that was how it came to be that Simon was sitting at a table on one of Rose Gardens more crowded side walks with a deck of cards. Here he had spent the morning gambling and playing poker, almost fairly, to get back the feel of his cards and skills. Now he was ready to start making money. All we needed was for an unsuspecting victim person to rob blind practice on.
