Hikari's Plot Arcs(WIP)

~The History Arc~

Hikari grew up in east Magnolia with her mom and dad. She had a happy childhood for the most part. Hikari was a beautiful girl, she had long, scarlet hair like her mother and her father's nose. They would often take trips to the Rose Garden in Bellum. However, when Hikari was only 10 years old, Hikari's father lost his job working for Sorcerer Weekly and fell into debt. While Hikari's mother, who was always frail and sick got worse. Eventually Hikari's father had an affair then left the two of them with his debt and ran off with his new lover. Hikari couldn't believe her own father would do such a thing to them. Hikari ended up hating her father with every fiber of her being and her absolute hatred of her father caused her to hate ALL men. Now, Hikari and her mother were left to pay off her father's huge debt. Seeing as her mother was too sick and frail to work, Hikari decided she would work to pay off the debt, but being only seven years old, she had an extremely tough time finding work. No place would hire her because she was just too young. She tried everywhere in all of magnolia to get hired. A year passed by and she still couldn't get a job. Then, a letter arrived at their home in east magnolia, it had no return address, but it was addressed to Hikari and her mother. When Hikari opened the envelope, it was filled with a bunch of jewels and a letter from Hikari's father. When she knew it was him who sent the letter, she tore it up in rage. However, the jewels were a different story, she could use them to pay off part of the debt her father left them with. With part of the debt now payed, Hikari resumed her job hunt. However, she still had no luck. Years went by, then finally when Hikari turned 13, she found a job. She worked as waitress in a local cafe.

~The Work Arc~

Hikari worked at a local cafe in Magnolia. She had to pay off the debt her father had left to her and her mother when he ran off. She loved her job and made lots of friends. The uniform she wore was quite cute and she had fun working there. She needed the money. but Hikari was never thrilled when it cam to waiting on men. She'd often get in trouble with the owner for attacking male customers whenever they flirted with her. However, she never was fired for her misconduct because the manager was a friend of Hikari's mother.

~Destiny Arc~

Hikari's mother had just passed away from her illness and Hikari was very depressed. She was soon approached by a man named Vincent Reinheart. He was a wandering fire mage who trained members of the legal mage guilds. Hikari had a deep seeded hatred of men because of what her father did. Hikari wanted nothing to do with Vincent at all in the beginning. She was more interested in finding her good-for-nothing father and paying off the debt. However, once Vincent told Hikari could make a LOT more money working as a mage than working normal jobs. That really peaked Hikari's interest. After that, Vincent began to teach Hikari Crimson Make magic.

During Hikari's and Vincent's travels while training, Vincent told Hikari that crimson-make mages could make contracts with fire spirits and that they would help Hikari out in battle. Hikari begged Vincent to show her how to make a contract. So Vincent showed her. Hikari learned to draw the contract circle and even showed her how to summon one. Hikari had to draw a bit of blood and call out the first thing that came to mind. When she did this, a small, nine-tailed, yellow and orange fox spirit with big red eyes appeared before her and spoke. This little fox, was Hikari's destined partner and Hikari named it Ruby because of her large red eyes.

~Farewell Arc~

It had been roughly two years since Hikari had started learning Crimson-make magic and she had finally mastered it. She was still traveling with her mentor and her new companion Ruby. They were traveling all over Fiore and Earthland. They'd been to Joya, Rose Garden in Bellum, Crocus for the dragon festival as well as to see the grand magic games, and many other places. It was the first time in years Hikari had felt happy. They eventually returned to Magnolia where their journey had begun. Once there, Vincent gave Hikari a pair of twin pistols as a gift. He told her she could use these whenever she wanted to conserve her magic whenever she fought in battle. It was the first and last present she received from her mentor, because a few shirt days later, he vanished without a trace or an explanation. Her mentor's disappearance made Hikari's hatred of men grow even more.
