Storm and Sky Dragon's Detective For A Day ~ Eternia and Blanc

Blanc felt disappointed to Cheria for ruining her glorius plan but it has already passed so she can't do anything against it. "Isn't it our little friend, Blanc!" Eternia said to Blanc. After saying those words, Eternia's reaction to her face was surprise as if she forgot something. Such a big shame if she forgot someone or something important to her, especially when it's a pet.

Other than that, Eternia's face was all worried after seeing Blanc and Cheria but after that, she simply whistled to calm herself up. "What's up with her?" Blanc asked Cheria with a soft voice. "I don't know but... Never mind." Cheria replied to Blanc. They were very curious about Eternia's problem.. or is it a problem?

Due to Eternia's loud whistle, Blanc and Cheria were getting uncomfortable with Eternia. "Her whistling is getting... annoying!" Cheria shouted whilst ears are covered. She shouted for Blanc to hear. "I know... Dragon Slayers have heightened senses which make this a disadvantage for me!" Blanc replied with a shout.

As the whistling continued, Eternia suddenly got tired and finally, Blanc and Cheria can open their ears. "Finally... She stopped." Cheria said. After Eternia stopped from whistling, she began confessing her problem. "Yeah, sorry, I totally forgot Roxy!" Eternia shouted loud.

Eternia looked up to the sky after shouting loud. Blanc and Cheria did as well and saw a Horse flying up in the sky. "What the...?" Blanc said upon seeing that mysterious creature. Cheria were surprised as well as she saw a horse flying up in the sky. The horse made it's landing. Blanc and Cheria had their jawdropped moment and stared at the horse with big eyes. "What's... this?" The horse seem to be disappointed and began talking to Eternia with anger.

They talked a bit longer than what the 2 have thought. They finally stopped talking and Eternia suggested to start moving,"Guys, it is time we started moving, I have a feeling it is going to rain. In fact, I feel a good old storm brewing." Cheria and Blanc started to walk with Eternia whilst looking at the horse. Cheria was flying next to Blanc. "Blanc... Is that.. a horse?", Cheria said. "I know right.... I don't normally see Eternia with the horse." Blanc said in reply to Cheria.

They continued on with the walk and they are still talking about the horse. They were very creeped out when they saw it. They shook their heads and pretended that they are simply following Eternia. After some time of a long walk, they finally reached the shop of the Client, Zoe. Blanc approached the door and rang to bell. 'Cring.. Cring' No one answered so they simply rang it again and this time, they looked around from outside the shop. There were so much stuff like magical stuff. There were wands, some lacrimas and also, there were some magical spell books on the shelves. It was really amazing how they saw the shop.

"H-h-h-ello ?" asked by a woman who was managing the shop.

She has a tone of fear and surprise in her voice for she was the victim of the robbery, Miss Zoe. She has an average height with a cute short hair which reaches through her shoulders which is colored brown. She also has a cute hat and she wears glasses. She seems to be timid in a way Blanc looked at her. She was behind the counter, hiding from the thieves who once stole some strong artifacts from her shop. While talking to the team, she was shaking in fear like she was traumatized. Before the girl was about to faint due to her trauma, Eternia made the first move to comfort her by talking to her. Blanc was left alone in the back, near the door, while waiting for Eternia to finish her chat with the shopkeeper.

White waiting for them, Blanc wandered off a bit inside the shop, looking around for some items which is unique to her eyes. She walked and walked with Cheria while looking around in a small shop but full of wondrous items. She was able to see some Lacrima Activated Weapons which can dish out elemental damage with each blow. Cheria was able to see some magical plushes which has a lacrima in their chests which can be activated for them to move. It was pretty unique but pretty childish.

Eternia and Miss Zoe approached her and gave her a piece of paper and a ballpen. "Eternia... What.. did... you... do...?", Blanc asked with a surprised emotion and a sweat drop on her head. She slowly accepted the piece of paper in which some valuable information was intended to be written there. "So.... What happened?", Blanc asked while holding the pen and the paper, facing Miss Zoe with a weird emotion. "Um... Like in what the job states... I got robbed", Miss Zoe said to Blanc. "Okkkaaayyy....?", Blanc said in reply. Cheria, in disappointment, made a large facepalm whose sound can be heard from afar."Eternia... Please do this.", Cheria suggested with a sweat drop. Blanc, in confusion, gave the paper to Eternia and returned back to walking around the shop.

Cheria flew over Near Blanc and talked to her, "Blanc.. You should somehow become helpful in cases like this..." Blanc wasn't able to say a word for feeling guilt inside of her... or did she felt guilt inside of her? She can be really intellectual in times of seriousness but when she isn't serious, she can be very unhelpful. She didn't mind about the issue so she just continued walking around the shop, letting Eternia finish all the talks before real combat starts. "Blanc... Stop being so stubborn!", Cheria shouted to Blanc. Blanc stopped as a spotlight lighted her. She was looking down with her arms extended upwards while bent to be able to reach the back of her head.

"What is it, Cheria...?", Blanc asked as she flicked her long cyan bangs, turning her head back at Cheria and reacted like nothing happened. Cheria, in disappointment, fell down from her Aera and her eyes turned into spiral shape, symbolizing her anger and confusing feelings. "Sigh.... I just don't know what to do anymore.. Nevermind Blanc", Cheria said to Blanc softly. A question mark appeared on Blanc's happened as she saw Cheria lying on the ground.

"As I was saying, the three things that were stolen were as follows. A magical book by the name of Devils Stars, a blue sword with impeccable markings and a lastly, my personal favorite, my dagger. It's a small dagger, again with remarkable patterns that shines blue. Please help me find them!", the shopkeeper A.K.A Zoe. Her voice seems to be in a scared manner. A bit timid like how Blanc speaks from the past... it's like she is always worried for something but when a growl was heard from a near distance, her manner of speaking changed instantly. "Anyway, I must go now. have to get lunch you see, starving I am. Please, take a look around and search for these guys. I have absolutely no clue where they would have gone. But please bring my items!", Zoe said. As for Eternia, she took a glass of water and took a seat while trying to guess where they will start.

Meanwhile, Blanc kept looking around the shop in search for wondrous items that she may use though it seems she can't find a single good weapon or armor. She was really hoping that a good armor or weapon appears infront of her. As for Cheria, she stood up after a moment of confusion because of Blanc and started walking towards Eternia's location. "Blanc, it is time to start investigating. Look for anything suspision inside this building", Eternia said as her attention was given to Cheria instead of Blanc. After a while, she looked upon Blanc who was looking and rummaging through the stuff from the shop. "Hmm... Nothing good...", Blanc said while scratching her chin.

Eternia walked around instead of going out. With that being said, she also browsed around on some stuff. Blanc looked around and saw her touching some sort of wood with books on top. "Hmm....? Oh, looks like Eternia found her spot to look on", Blanc said softly. As Eternia looked around, she was able to locate some scatter paper below which made her furious and curious as well. There were some writing on the paper which was torn down but was very intriguing as a clue.

"Hey Blanc, Cheria, I found something. Can you read it?", Eternia said as the team approched each other meeting in the middle. As Blanc saw the paper, she couldn't really read it since it's very messy and old. It also has some weird features which makes it very mysterious.

That was all Eternia could read so far. Because of that, they now have their first clue but they still need more clues to be able to finish the job. Blanc was a bit disappointed so she also helped out in arranging the scattered paper to look for more clues. "We need more clues", Cheria said. As she talked and closed her eyes, she was able to see something but couldn't really figure it out since it's just fragments. It's like she's predicting something though she couldn't really tell what it is.

Blanc noticed that Cheria seem to be in a shocked moment and couldn't move her body. "Cheria..? Is there something wrong?", Blanc asked to Cheria. As Blanc talked to her, she shaked her head and looked at Blanc. "No-thing..? Let's just find more clues!", Cheria said in reply.

"Be... Really...Quiet....", Eternia said after she nodded to Blanc as a sign of being ready to face the threats and the army of enemies which are dwelling inside the tavern. As they walked, Blanc was disturbed, same as Eternia, by the sounds of hooves which was made by Eternia's pet, Roxy. The little peguni made noises of footsteps which seem to have alerted the thieves. Because of disappointment, Roxy was forced to take the skies and spy from above. As she was looking around, she was able to see 2 men walking towards their direction. Roxy flew down back to the ground and carried Eternia.  "Cheria, take Blanc into the sky! It seems we were spotted a while ago, and now people are coming to get rid of us", Eternia ordered. Cheria nodded in approval and carried Blanc immediately to avoid the thieves.

Out of the tavern came two men wearing dark clothes. Roxy also spotted 4 men holding no weapons. They seem to be good at melee combat using their own hands. Blanc stroke a glare at them to be able to intimidate them but they seem to be more intimidating. "What business do you have here?", One of the thieves asked. "We have come to collect what is rightfully ours", Eternia replied. Because of Eternia's answer, the thief grinned and said, "Rightfully yours? Oh, so you are the one that lady sent? Hmm, you're girls. We can't take this seriously...But we were sent to dispose of you, and we shall"

With the thief's reply, Eternia's jaw dropped immediately upon realizing the word 'girls'. She must have been thinking that girls can also overcome boys. "Hey Blanc, let's show these fellas what we are made of!", Eternia said as she looked at Blanc. Blanc's reply was a flick of her bangs. Blanc also gave a grin and made a confident pose.

The fight started and Eternia demanded that Blanc should make the first move and she did. Because of that, Blanc immediately jumped upwards from being carried by Cheria, made a strong and forceful backflip as winds were generated from her legs. After that, she released it in a form of a spell.

"Sky Dragon's Claw!", Blanc announced as a slash of strong wind appeared which was directed towards the 2 thieves who were infront. After that, she was able to make a safe landing.

Smoke engulfed the environment as the strong generated wind passed through the enemies. They were pushed back by a short distance and weren't hit since they were able to block the winds. They seem to be strong from Blanc's observation seeing how they were able to block one of Blanc's strongest spells. "They're far stronger than what I expected", Blanc said to her mind as a feeling of worry enveloped her feelings.

"So what now? Gonna give up?"

The thief taunted Blanc and Eternia after they have unleashed some of their spells. Even though these spells were supposed to make huge damage, they did nothing... perhaps small amount of damage from Eternia's Storm Clouds. 2 of the thieves were unconscious yet their comrades don't care at all.... such cruelty.

"Such heartless people... They should be punished", Blanc said to herself. While Blanc was gazing upon the cruel thieves, Eternia talked to them in mocking manner saying, "Did you like my entrance? Now it's time for the fun to begin! Come on then, hit me with you best shot!"

"What's that, hit little girlies with our best shot? What a waste of time", the thief said laughing. His gang, in reply, laughed as well, underestimating Blanc and Eternia.

Blanc looked down, suppressing her anger. Her face turned black and her eyes glowed red. "What... did... you... say...?", Blanc said vigorously. After saying those words, Blanc took steps slowly towards the thieves. "Oh look! The blue one is angry... HAHAHAHA!", the thief said in reply. "

"That's ENOUGH!", Blanc shouted. After shouting, her soft blue hair levitated and waved around. Her anger was over the limit and she couldn't suppress it at all. A blue aura enveloped her body as she was still looking down, taking small steps towards the theives. As she was walking, she released her sharp claws from her weapon and muttered some words, "Sky.." After muttering a word, she raised up her hand horizontally with the palm directed at the thieves. "What's this?? A girly move?", the thief laughed.

"Burst!"

After shouting Burst, a huge orb was conjured on her palm and was released sucking everything in it's path. Even her hair was following the strong sucking action of the orb. Even the thieves' long coats were also being pulled yet they remained persistent. The orb moved 40 mph.

Blanc was close to the thieves and it quickly exploded yet she was in the right distance to be not affected by the huge orb. As it exploded, strong currents of winds moved out from the orb and the sands covered the vision of all. Blanc used her arm to be able to protect her own eyes from the strong winds and might get something inside her eyes. Cheria did the same as well and was almost pushed back because of it's light weight.

As the sand cleared, their visions came back and they saw the thieves still standing up and was protected with a strong earth shield. The earth shield was already collapsed but it seems it had double layers and they were easily protected. There were also 2 earth mages managing their defense. "Tch... Earth Mages..."

"Hmm... What happened? You think we can easily get defeated with that.. cheap move?", the thief said. They kept laughing and laughing and at the same time, mocking Eternia and Blanc.

After laughing, the thieves glared at the team and unleashed a series of attacks directed at Blanc and Eternia. "Die bitches", the thief said. The attacks consists of knives being thrown, rocks being flung and also, guns being shot. As the attacks were coming close in a slow motion, Blanc said to Eternia, "Do you have any defensive spells?" They were too late and the attacks came through. As they received the attacks, sand covered their visions and couldn't see what happened.

"VERNIERxARMSxARMOR!"

Blanc shouted as she casted a spell. She raised up both her arms as a sky bluish glow appeared on both Eternia and herself. Winds started to envelope them as well as the bright light continue to grow. Blanc decided to support them for now 'cause both their spells are failing simultaneously. She though that a good support might be good to be able to change to tides of the battle.

"What's that... WITCHCRAFT!", the thief shouted loudly with a shocked tone.

"Healing magic... but it's.. already lost", the earth mage said as it started to worry.

After some seconds, the process of Blanc's spells have finally finished and both Eternia and Blanc started to glow in outstanding amounts of lights colored in their element. For Blanc, it's Sky Blue for the color of the skies are blue and Blanc's magic is quite similar to the skies.

"It's ready to get right back on the track", Blanc said as she showed her confident smile.

Blanc took a short step backwards with her left foot on back and right foot on front. She leaned her back a bit as she put her hands in her mouth forming a cylindrical shape. Her cheeks began to inflate. A blue magical seal appeared right infront of her, close to her mouth which grew brightly. After that, she exhaled strongly which created a strong burst of wind from her mouth forming a tornado which is directed to the thieves.

"Sky Dragon's ROAR!"

The thieves' jaw dropped as they saw the Roar incoming.

A thief looked back, pointed out at the spell that Blanc casted and commanded to his troups, "Earth Mages! GO FRONT AND DEFEND US!"

The earth mages, two of them, immediately moved front and conjured magically a wall which protected them all from Blanc's spell. As Blanc's roar finally ended, the wall shattered and turned into chunks. The winds carried the dusts which made their vision around their area quite hard to see. They had to squint their eyes to see clearly.

As the winds cleared up, they can only see Eternia on the scene. "Where's the blue girl?", a thief said looking around.

"Hehe... Looking for me?"

A voice of Blanc appeared out of nowhere which made them curious. They covered their backs and looked around. As a thief looked up, he can see Blanc landing down on them with winds on her hands.

"Sky Dragon's Wingslash!"

Once again, the winds covered the area thus hitting all thieves since Blanc caught them by surprise. Using her roar was a good decoy to make the thieves defenseless giving Blanc high chances of hitting them with a stronger spell. The thieves were blown out by Blanc's spell. Her spell ended and the winds returned back to their calm state. After that, Blanc can see the thieves lying on the ground, somehow helpless. They were trying to stand up. Blanc approached their leader and put one foot on his back.

"So... giving up yet?" Blanc said to the thief approaching her head near the thief's head.

The thief was silent, trying to mutter some words yet cannot. Blanc looked around to see if the thieves were trying to stand up. Some are just kneeling but some are still lying on the ground. Some of them, trying to push themselves to the limit, making them breathe strongly. Blanc quietly giggled, courteously covering her mouth using the fingers of her hands.

"Uhh....."

"Yeah... that's what I thought."

She looked at Eternia and said with a thumbs up and a smile, "We did a great job!"

(What really happened during the battle)

After Blanc's roar ended, she immediately used the bonuses that she got from her buffs. With the combination of Vernier and "Dash of the Sky Dragon!", she was able to move quick, somehow close to the speed of light and was able to go to a place where she cannot be seen. As the roar ended, she waiting for the dusts to clear the area before she hovered to the thieves, jumped high and casted "Wingslash of the Sky Dragon!" Because of that, she was able to catch them defenseless.
