Lacrima Sabers are incredibly rare weapons that only the lucky get to wield. The scarce amount of slayer lacrima has made Lacrima Sabers a myth as to whether anyone has these powerful weapons. Lacrima Sabers in short are the strongest weapons on this site because they are forged by the God of Crafting and Blacksmith himself, Hephaestus! Hephaestus forged the first Lacrima Saber for the Dungeon Master, Rentaro Tatsuya. He was the first mage to clear all original 100 dungeon floors, and after becoming a Dungeon Master he found Hephaestus himself hidden deep within the dungeons. After hearing extravagant stories of Rentaro's adventures in the dungeons, Hephaestus forged him a weapon as a token of their friendship. Now Hephaestus sits in his shop selling hilts and lacrimas to adventurers so that he can hear more stories like Rentaro's.

So you must be wondering what it means to have a lacrima saber right now. Well, it unlocks a whole new feature for your character. It allows you to create your own unique fighting style in which you can name and choose whether or not your fighting style is offensive, defensive, balanced, and ultimate.
- I. Hilts:
Hilts are very important in the creation of your lacrima saber. They decide how long your lacrima saber is. There are 3 main hilts in which you can use. Any special hilts cannot be earned through normal means via the dungeon system or be bought with dungeon tokens. Any special hilt rewarded will be extremely rare and will most likely provide a special ability that comes with it.
Standard Hilt: The standard hilt allows you to extend the lacrima saber blade up to 100cm. It is good for those that seek to damage larger targets and damage more targets. Standard hilts are excellent for warriors, adventurers, and duelists.
Short Hilt: The short hilt allows you to extend the lacrima saber blade up to 70cm. It is good for those that seek to conceal their weapon, such as assassinations and sabotaging missions. Short hilts are very versatile and are meant for spies, assassins, and even saboteurs.
Double Bladed Hilt: The double bladed hilt requires 2 lacrimas and the blade extends to 100cm on both ends. It is good for those that seek to cause carnage against armies. Double bladed hilts are meant for elites in the field of chao and destruction.
- II. Lacrimas:
A lacrima crystal is essentially what powers your lacrima saber. Depending on your lacrima, your lacrima saber could drastically be stronger. Hephaestus himself mines the rare lacrimas himself, and only lacrima from the VIP Shop, previously purchased lacrimas from the magic shop, and lacrimas earned through events can be used for your lacrima saber. Any other lacrima such as explosive lacrima cannot and will not be allowed to be used to create your lacrima saber. Different lacrimas will provide different passive abilities to your lacrima saber in which you can use in your fighting style to become more effective. Every lacrima will provide a passive ability, slayer lacrimas from this shop can also be used as secondary magic (albeit they will be more expensive and harder to obtain due to limited stock).
- III. Fighting Style:
Your fighting style is important as it is the deciding factor as to how you're going to use your lacrima saber. Different fighting styles will provide you with different capabilities.
Offensive Fighting Style: 100% Offensive Techniques
Defensive Fighting Style: 100% Defensive Techniques
Balanced Fighting Style: 50% Offensive and 50% Defensive Techniques
Ultimate Fighting Style: 100% Offensive and 100% Defensive Techniques
Offensive: An offensive fighting style allows you to be more aggressive when using your lacrima saber. This type of fighting style is meant for those that like to fight solo and are very aggressive. Choosing a offensive fighting style means that you forfeit the abilities to block attacks as well as a defensive fighting style. An offensive fighting style has the perks of being able to be agile and damaging at the same time with the risk of having no defense.
Offensive Fighting Style Perk 1:
Allows you to throw your lacrima saber 20 meters and have it come back to you like a boomerang
Offensive Fighting Style Perk 2:
Allows you to overpower other weapons with ease such as legendary, artifacts on the other hand may prove to be more difficult
Offensive Fighting Style Perk 3:
Allows you to increase your movement speed with the lacrima saber while in combat. The increase in speed is equivalent to a passive C-Rank movement spell.
Defensive: An defensive fighting style allows you to be more defensive when using your lacrima saber. This type of fighting style is meant for those that like to defend others and work with groups. Choosing a defensive fighting style means that you forfeit the ability to be quick and deal more painful blows. Instead you will be able to block and redirect attacks including being better at parrying other weapons. A defensive fighting style has the perks of being able to protect yourself and others being able to defend from all sorts of abilities.
Defensive Fighting Style Perk 1:
Allows you to block spells on contact that are one rank below you
Defensive Fighting Style Perk 2:
Allows you to redirect offensive spells towards you that are 2 ranks below you
Defensive Fighting Style Perk 3:
Allows you to increase your overall balance
Balanced: An balanced fighting style allows you to be both offensive and defensive, but not at half the offensive capabilities and defensive capabilities of someone who is strictly offensive or defensive. You are able to be agile and protect yourself better and others. It is a balanced fighting style fit for those that wish to fight by themselves or with a group.
Balanced Fighting Style Perk 1:
Allows you to throw your lacrima saber 15 meters and have it return to you like a boomerang
Balanced Fighting Style Perk 2:
Allows you to block spells on contact with the blade that are 1 rank below you
Balanced Fighting Style Perk 3:
Allows you to increase your movement speed
Ultimate: An ultimate fighting style can ONLY be accomplished if you dual wield lacrima sabers or have a double bladed lacrima saber. This fighting style allows you to master offensive and defensive fighting styles, essentially creating a more advanced balanced fighting style.
Ultimate Fighting Style Perk 1: Allows you to pick 2 perks of both Offensive and Defensive (So a total of 4 perks)
Ultimate Fighting Style Perk 1: Allows you to have a customized perk.
