Lance walked into the arena a little more serious than usual. Draco was worried about him seeing as he had been more and more serious and insane each day. Lance had asked Draco what it was like to kill someone the other day and his eyes lit up when he saw blood on the street, but this type of serious was not the normal type of serious this was determination. This fight was not the first he had fought his opponent the last time he fought him he had to worry about more people, but this time it was a one on one battle in which he would not lose so easily this time. Lance stopped and shuddered as he remembered the last fight he had with this opponent. He took off his coat and his shirt and threw them on the floor "Come on lets start this!" He yelled across the arena as he got into his fighting stance.

Ikuto was just hanging about doing who-knows-what within the arena. Battles of many mages have came and gone, ending with one being brutally hurt, or a tie-game where no one could get the upper hand. After about watching around thirty or so rounds, Lance of all people came to greet Ikuto. But it was no ordinary greeting. Immediately, Lance signaled a battle, for he yelled out from across the stadium, if anything, in the wildest manner.
"Come on let's start this!"
Ikuto stared his opponent down, noticing that Lance was being a bit unusual. Although, Lance's normal personality would be to take anyone on and attempt to take them down, even to his last breath. But this time, Lance was different. He didn't seem to want to only take Ikuto down, but to annihilate, possibly eradicate, Ikuto from the face of the Earth. It should be a possible feat for an H-Rank to take on a D-Rank, especially of Lance's caliber, any day. Yet something, maybe the tension of the air, was incorrect. But accept he did, for Ikuto took the offer with a grin.
"Lance...I'll take you on. But...don't blame me if I didn't warn you, son."

Lance nodded as he lunged forward and tried to punch Ikuto three times in the stomach swiftly hoping that he would hit at least once then he jumped back and sucked in his breath "Shadow mist!" when he blew out a mist filled the area and Lance started to run around the arena fast and went up behind Ikuto and tried to do a side kick into his back which would send him into the ground if it hit.
