Personality: Out of combat, Taro is a layed back, fun loving, gentle giant of a man. He can be found looking for ways to help out others during his travels, of its within his power to do so. He usually detests violence as the go to and usually tries to bring down a situation before it comes down to unnecessary violence.A key strategy he likes to use is to try and play a game with someone instead of fighting them, and of course this depends on the stakes of the disagreement as well (not sure if a rampaging dragon would take kindly to a nice game of poker over some tea.) He is also has an affinity with animals, magic or mundane. This affinity and love for other creatures also leads hime to fostering and strays or injured animals that he may find throughout his travels. In combat Taro is a tactical fighter, usually going into a fight using the minimal amount of effort to get a feel on his opponent. Once he has a decent read and feel of his opponent he will adjust his effort based on what calculations he has made as to use the bare minimum to defeat any adversaries. But in case if the enemy is more than he can handle, he will always try to keep a trump card ready for such an occasion. How he fights is usually by utilizing heavy hitting moves to try to exert as little energy as possible, rather wanting to finish an opponent off in one blow than a thousand. In a group setting where he is put in charge, Taro likes to ensure that his subordinates are in good spirits and will always look to help them in anyway he can. He is also open to any ideas as far as plans goes, but will give it thought on wheter it would be practical in the situation that they find themselves in. Though Taro isn't the biggest fan of being ordered around, he will swallow his pride if it means he and those he cares for can make it out of a dangerous battle alive. As a follower he likes to take the role as the heavy hitter in a plan, trying to stay in the thick of a fight to ensure to minimize harm to those on his side and to best utilize his abilities to the fullest.

Likes:

• Animals and Nature: Given his upbringing and affinity for the lovely and/or deadly creatures of the wilds, Taro always like to take strolls to any place where he may stumble upon the wildlife of that area.
  
• Games: Taro is a big fan of playing games and especially likes to play games where the stakes are high and the awards are just as high. He also likes to use this as an alternative to fighting if he feels he doesn't need to.
  
• Partying: Good drink, good food, good company. Taro can think of few things that can compete with such a combination.
  

Dislikes:

• Cruelty: He believes that power should he used to defend those who can't and to defend oneself from harm that may befall them. But once strength is used to inflict harm and/or restrict the freedom of others, despite his pacifist nature thats a fight Taro will gladly put himself into.
  
• High Strung People: "Why the grim look? Enjoy yourself! It's a party after all! Here let's get some drinks into ya and see if ya still have that stiff face, yeah?!
  
• Demons/Demonic Powers: After the massacre of his village at the hands of cultists and the abominations tbey had conjured, any hints of that day has been etched into his mind and causes him to lose his nerve.
  

Motivations:

• To join Maliora Vitae: During his travels, Taro had heard whispers and rumors of an upstart guild that deals in helping villages and towns by relocating the pestering creature to a new location where it and the people its been bothering may he safe. He sees this as a noble cause and is trying to find where their flying guild hall may be at.
  
• To finish his book: During his travels, Taro had begun to find interesting creatures that he had never seen before and would try to study their behaviors and habitats extensively. So he has made it his personal mission to find the raraest of the world's creatures and document them.
  
• To find and stop the cultists who murdered his village: Not really looking for vengeance, Taro just wants to bring these fiends to justice and hopefully help prevent the next village, town, or city from having to experience the horrors that he had gone through.
  

Fears:

• Demons/Demonic Powers: Taro freezes up when ever he feels that sinister presense. Usually shaking in a cold sweat, reliving the brutality that had fallen upon the friends and family he had grown up with over and over and over again.
  
  
• Being put in difficult situations: Taro may have a hunkering for games with high stakes, but once the stakes are put into real life or death situations, where friends' lives are on the line, he feels he has to carry the overbearing weight to ensure he can have he and his friends make it out alive.
  
• Being Weak: To Taro, gaining power means to gain safety from the wrongdoings of the world, so he fears being to weak to do anything about said wrongdoings will lead to unnecessary suffering and puts it upon himself to not be weak the next time around.
