Personality:
Baltazar is an individual that questions reality, enjoying the knowledge itself, considering it’s the ultimate reward… and gold.
Despite his rather scientific way of thinking, he can help himself when it comes to shiny metals, or metals in general. Due to how his magic works, metals are quite important for him. You could say he has a bit of a obsession with them and might be more interested in someone's armor that the person itself. Due to that he doesn’t really have many friends, or rather any friends and while he is introverted, he is in denial in terms of not needing any friends. Because he actually needs some, just hates to admit it.
Because he never really has a lot of contact in people his way of talking with them did suffer because of it. He often stutters and cannot hold eye contact for too long.
It does somewhat change in combat, though since Baltazar doesn’t enjoy fighting, if he's forced to do so, he often tries to end the fight quickly and with as little victims as possible, but if his hand is somewhat forced he will not hesitate.
Since he can be very focused on his goals and wellbeing of others he can be pretty good addition to a team, but his lack of social skills, problems with talking to people and him being generally a nerd in terms of magic and metals makes him have a hard time with finding anyone willing to actually accept him to a team hard.
If he ever is forced into a leadership position, he probably could make a good plan with how to use other powers, but he lacks charisma to actually be a leader and convince people to listen to him. That’s why he would rather be a part of the team, than the leader.

Goooooold - The look of it, the smell of it, the texture, how it tastes, how it feels on his skin.
Knowledge is also very important for him. He’d love to just spend hours reading some books or even ancients texts.
Animals - he’s basically the guy that on party sits in a corner and plays with a dog or a cat
