Description:
Gelu Morsus, or in the common tongue, Frostbite, is a special axe, created by a legendary smith from Iceberg who could create wondrous weapons and armor from ice as if it were steel. This particular weapon, created by ice recovered from an ancient ice dragon attack in a kingdom upon its king’s request, was a gift for the warrior that had slain it. The shaft of the weapon was made of steel and was wrapped in fur and leather. The blade was fashioned like a dragon’s wing and was attached to the axe’s shaft by a dragon’s head fashioned out of ice. Attached, though, is not the right word, as it floats in front of the dragon’s mouth as if it is an icy breath. Priests enchanted the weapon, infusing it with the dragon’s magic to create the weapon.

Gelu Morsus has been used in many a battle and slain many beasts, and it was never short of that of a mighty warrior, returning to the king’s treasury after the death of the holder so the king could gift it to another warrior of renown from his followers. But one day it was lost as a brave warrior defended his king’s army when it was retreating. The warrior faced off against the army of an entire nation and died a resplendent death as he saved his king and his army but Gelu Morsus was lost. Lost until a new warrior uncovered it.

Description: The wielder of Gelu Morsus swings the axe above their head and then comes down upon it’s intended target, at that time a magical circle in different hues of blues, greys, and white appears between the dragon’s head and the icy axe blade. The dragon’s head will release a stream of magical ice as soon as the axe hits it’s target and the ice will enter the body. There it’s frost will linger for a while. The ability initially deals 50% of User Rank Single Target Damage, and 50% of User Rank Single Target Damage to the affected target every post thereafter until the ability ends. Besides the damage, it will also burn 5% of the target’s mana per post the ability is active.

Description: The wielder of Gelu Morsus swings the axe in a large arc into the ground. In the last moment a magical circle in the hues of blue, greys and white appears between the dragon’s head and the icy axe blade. It will pulse brightly and expand rapidly until it covers an area of User Rank Advanced Burst Range in diameter around the area of impact, it all happens within mere seconds and ice stakes shoots from the axe blade until it covers the entire area as soon as the magical circle disappears. Everyone within the icy circle will receive 50% of User Rank Advanced Burst Damage, followed by another 50% User Rank Advanced Burst Damage for the next four posts. The stacking of damage only applies if the target is within the area of effect, however the first initial and the second round of damage are almost ensured as the icy spikes will immobilize the target for one post upon hitting the target for the first time.
