Minato sat at the benches that surrounded the headquarters of the Rune Knights, waiting for a certain subordinate to appear before him. He was waiting for none other than Giyo Graphey, the gravity mage that was taken from Fairy Tail. Deciding to eat whilst waiting for the young Rune Knight, Minato pulled out a sandwich that his darling Eternia had made for him earlier that morning. Whilst biting into the sandwich, his eyes never deterred from the entrance of the headquarters as if the were eagles hunting for prey.

Giyo rushed into the Rune Knight's Headquarters.Yoshh!! Giyo is in high spirits.Today would be his day of his c-rank examination.Minato was sitting on a bench,seemingly eating.So,what should it be!? Let's start immediately! Giyo shouted towards Minato,energized.Giyo seemed like he forgot that Minato is his superior.He was looking forward for this c-rank examination.Giyo would had proved himself worthy by acing this exam.Impatient,Giyo jumped around like an idiot.He would want to start this exam here and now.Come on,Minatoo!

Minato looked up at the oncoming Rune Knight. The youngling seemed to have no regard for superiority and ranking throughout the order of the Rune Knights, a core belief that ran down from tradition. "Shut up you insolent fool.... you are disturbing the others." said Minato with a frustrated voice. Minato gestured for Giyo Graphey to follow him as he led him through the celestial chamber, a chamber that simulated the world of the stars. Stopping at the end of the hallway, Minato pointed at a swirling black mass that appeared at the bottom of the floor. "Jump in there, and your challenge will commence." laughed Minato as he walked away slowly.

Seriously,jump? Giyo pointed towards the black mass on the floor.Minato looked like he was not serious,be it from his facial expressions or reaction.Are you fooling around with me? Giyo questioned,but he quickly shook the question of his head.Giyo thought positively.Thinking this might be part of the exam,Giyo did exactly what Minato told him.He jumped into the black mass on the floor.Minato said that the real exam will beging when he jumped,and he wants to know what would happen.Giyo awaits for anything to come,wondering whether this would be an easy exam.

Minato walked to the Heavenly Stars cabinet, a cabinet where they kept all the celestial drawings. Celestial drawings are made when the most notorious monsters are captured and defeated, and later turned into celestial drawings. The only way they could ever come back to life, was if they entered a space simulator, one such as the black hole in the ground. Browsing through the monsters, he decided to pick Ceetus, the giant squid. Holding the small ball that encapsulated the monster over the black hole, he released.

Giyo gasped,not in shock,but in excitement.Minato had somehow summoned a giant squid.Not that Giyo cared about how he did it,but it's just that the squid looks strong,and he wanted to beat it.So,i need to beat this thing? Giyo said,pointing towards the giant squid.It roared,its tentacles going almost everywhere.Giyo unsheathed his Tetsusaiga,ready to attack whenever Minato says so.I'm ready,Minato. Giyo smiled wide,excited.He had never fought such monster before,which explains his excitement.The fighting blood in his veins boiled to the extreme.Giyo's combat instinct rose to the point that he can't help but to only think about the battle with the squid.

Minato shook his head at the youngling's impatience. "He really doesn't know when to stop does he." laughed Minato as he watched the battle from lacrima vision. Staring at the orb that would tell him of his subordinate's future, Minato watched intently.

Squids point of view~

"Blargle Blargle Blarg." was the only sound that escaped from it. Squidie was incredibly sad that he couldn't talk. But now that there was a new threat that was attacking him, he would have to think about perfecting his human voice later. Squidie flung his tentacles around in a clean arc and watched as 8 tentacles collided with the mage.

Woahh! Giyo couldn't help but to accept the attacks.Eight attacks in a same time is too much for him.Rising from the puff of smoke,Giyo stood,smiling.Nice one,Squid. Giyo,still holding his Tetsusaiga,swings the sword towards the squid.Aidou..Reietsu!! Giyo shouted,a beam slash sent towards the squid.Giyo hopes that the attack could hit.Luckily,the squid was hit,but it still stayed intact.It seemed angry.Was it because Giyo attacked it?Hm.. Giyo stood still,preparing for any sudden attacks the squid would launch towards him.This time,Giyo will try defending himself from the squid's attacks.

Squidie was confused and angry at the same time when he had found out that the young Rune Knight in fact had not died, but countered attacked with a blade slash. Fortunately, the sword slash was not deep enough to sever one of his tentacles, but he was still hurt and mad nonetheless. "BLARGLE BLARGLE BLARG!" boomed Squidie as he let out a puff on ink that acted as a smokescreen and covered the attacker's view. He then assaulted the young human being with seven of his tentacles and watched them wrap around the human and constrict him.

The squid had suddenly spurted black ink.Giyo's field of view was blocked,and he knows that he would be attacked.Giyo's assupmtion was right.Seven tentacles came by and attacked him,this time still no defensive action taken.Giyo did not has the time to react,as suddenly a tentacle wrapped itself on him,constricting him.Whoa..But,lemme tell you,it's a mistake to use physical attacks that touch me. Giyo said,a magic circle appeared below him.Shinra..Tensei! Giyo shouted,but nothing seemed to happen.Wait,is this why we're fighting in a space emulator!? Giyo realized that his magic is of no use here.As an act of desperation,Giyo bit the tentacle,in an attempt to make it feel pain.It tastes awkward,though.Dammit,let goo... Giyo said,still biting the tentacle.

Minato recalled Ceetus from the space simulator back into the small tiny Celestial drawing that contained it. "Damn you Giyo, I was just having fun watching you suffer. But you're no use to me dead, so I will let you live. Good job, you have proven your worth. I now announce you C-rank." said Minato. He turned around and strutted away with his particular style.

Whatta..curse you minato! giyo said in a joking manner,laughing.He is finally a c-rank mage.Putting his fists up into the sky,he shouted YEAAAHH!!! Giyo is in triumph.He sees Minato leaving,and then he sets his foot home.Giyo wanted to tell Amber that he had just became a C-rank,and that he would quit Rune Knights to join his guild of dreams; Fairy Tail.
