Over all, Izdubar is shown to be laid-back and collected, retaining his composure even in awkward and possibly dangerous situations. He is also compassionate and firmly believes in the idea of "family". Though for certain situations, he can also express shock, annoyance, and anger. He does not actually dislike other people as some people may think. Instead, he is fiercely independent and wary of others who approach him with ulterior motives. While he's very careful and suspect of new people as they approach him he is not necessarily unfriendly. He understands that while being cautious is sometimes a necessity that not everyone is out to betray, and once you have his trust, you have an ally that you can always count on. He is not above helping people who are really in need. In addition, he can be quite protective of people he cares for. However, even if he knows that others might not appreciate his actions or thank him afterward, if he sees it as the greater good, he will use any means possible to achieve his goals. This has caused others to sometimes misunderstand his motives. He also has a sense of justice and is willing to do something for their expense to protect the ones that is dear to him. Something not too many people know is that Izdubar suffers from having frequent nightmares. They always involve a tall, dark cloaked figure with light emanating from beneath his robes. He occasionally gets awoken by these nightmares and they always seem to feel all too real. The man is standing there, and getting ever closer every time you blink, until a blinding bright arm and  hand reaches out to cling and grip onto your face. As it touches him, it is a non painful light that begins to burn as he awakens.

Izdubar prefers staying in the back line of the fight, but not for the reasons one might assume. He prefers to get a tactical view and observe what's going on around him at all times so that he might better control the flow of battle for his allies. For not only does this suit his style, but the manner of which his mind and tactics operate as well. Planning and deception are both weapons he wields well against any enemy that threatens his friends, himself, or any of his many objectives. He is adept at conjuring weapons and armor to great offensive and defensive effect, all of them polished to a shine that could blind from the suns light. Very few have seen his other form of magic, as he keeps it from others and close to his chest because of its uncertainty and unpredictability.

Although If the battle is not going in their favor, or allies and/or friends are in danger, his style changes drastically. When he displays his rarely used abilities, or becomes engaged in a difficult battle, Izdubar's eyes change into a very much sharper feature, for a reason that not even Izdubar himself knows at this point in time.

Likes:

• Games: He loves games that require brain activity and strategy. Being able to plan and maneuver around your opponent is what he does best.
  
• Artifact hunting: Looking for and uncovering ancient or powerful items or abilities.
  
• Breaking his limits: Izdubar enjoys pushing himself to, and past, the limit. Discovering what his next goals, powers, and dreams might be.
  

Dislikes:

• Malicious manipulation: Aegis hates and will not stand for the usage and manipulation of himself by people. He is for protecting his goals, and though he knows sometimes you need people to get things done, the ends and the means are one in the same.
  
• Fish: Smelly, Salty, and can stick their bones in your neck if your not careful. Why would you eat something that has a chance to kill you? Also, way to much salt.
  
• Passive aggressive behavior: Why would you put in the time of day to deal with someone who cant get to the point up front, or needing to do it secretively?
  

Motivations:

• First, Shelter. Protect others as much as possible, for you shall need them in the future no matter how small they may seem to others.
  
• Second, Protect your self, as you may not be able to protect others in the future when you are dead.
  
• Third, Be the light. Show your colours, and don't be afraid to boast when the times come. But be wary of what you say, should you be lying.
  
• Fourth, Build and protect your family.
  

Fears:

• Atychiphobia: Failure means not only loss, but the possibility of death or abandonment. Not only for himself, but for the others he protects and covets, he must not fail in his plans and creations.
  
• Second is both a fear, and a anger. Izdubar will not be manipulated or controlled. He is his own person and someone trying to take his freedom away is an enemy.
  
• Philophobia: Izdubar is frightened of falling in love or having emotions for someone because he knows that his safety will come second and would be fearful of losing them.
  

General Appearance


Height: 6'1
Weight: 160
Hair: Short gold hair in a slight messy style
Eyes: Bold red
Skin Tone: Lightly tanned

Appearance: Izdubar normally wears a red and brown laced shawl, brown airy pants that go from a lighter brown on the top to a darker right above the knees. His large carrying bag  almost always rests on his left side, held in place by a large dark brown belt. His boots are a light brown and white color.

Izdubar is very lightly tanned in complexion, and in combination with his light body type, people seem to often underestimate him. His health is perfectly fine and he takes pride in staying hygienic at all times. He doesn't slouch, nor does he puff his chest out in pride, but chooses to maintain a neutral stance often.
