Personality: Nyx is very... "simplistic", on the outside. Unlike most cat-people you see Nyx seems to be the most like... well... a cat.

Nyx is very, very, very lazy. She hardly does anything for most if not all of her day, but thankfully enough her fat doesn't go to her stomach, apparently.
You could describe Nyx as hateful if you wanted, it wouldn't be that far off. Even though she very much enjoys affection, and being pet, it's rare that she doesn't injure the person who touches her for no reason other than the fact that she's been touched.
On another note she also seems to have a good mood. It isn't really known what puts her in this "good mood", only that sometimes she just decides she wants to be.
Nyx is also rather chaotic and unpredictable. If you couldn't tell, Nyx dosn't seem to care about the whole normal emotions thing, instead rapidly deciding to switch to different ones whenever she feels like it.

Now despite everything bad I've said about her, Nyx is a very competent person. You might be assuming that she is rather dense due to what I've said, but that's just what she wants you to think.
Or she's actually like that but there's some smarts thrown in too. Honestly it could be either or with this woman.
Either way Nyx absolutely has the mental capacity to manipulate anybody, be it with her cutesy face or gifted body, as well as having the lack of sympathy to care about the consequences. She will do whatever is necessary, but only what is necessary, to achieve her goals. Nyx is a very "get what I want when I want it" type of person, disregarding personal safety and the safety of anybody else to get it.

That right there is probably why she is also incapable of being alone. Nyx's personality needs to be bonded with in order to keep her in check.
Likes: Attention: As a cat it is almost essential that she makes sure everybody is paying attention to her, and only her.

Affection: Nyx is a pet of sorts, so of course the one shining beacon she strives for in life is free patting and love.

Food: Mostly fish of course, but Nyx is no pushover when it comes to eating a lot.

Dislikes: Bugs: More specifically the ones that touch her. Nyx considers herself far above something like a bug, so the fact that one has the balls to touch her ticks her off a fair, fair amount.

Being Touched: On the contrary to liking being touched, she also dislikes being touched because she decides she wants to. Maybe you touched her ear wrong or something, or maybe she's just being difficult

Getting Wet: Nyx doesn't so much fear water as she does hate it. Being wet just isn't appealing to her.

Motivations: Affection: Very simple to describe. Nyx wants affection and at the very least she might get some if she does something productive.

Attention: Once again, at the very least she'll get recognition for taking on jobs and such, and get more attention than she does right now.

Food: Nyx is very simplistic and just wants what she likes and nothing more. There's really no deep, interesting, carefully woven complex here, she's just a cat that wants free shit.
Also she wants food and strives to get it because she likes food and therefore wants more of it.

Fears: Deep Water: Once more contrary to her dislike of not fearing water, being thrown into deep water with no escape nearby is something that she dares not even have nightmares about.

Being Chased: That adrenaline rush you get when you're being chased is pretty exciting to some people. To Nyx, it's utterly terrifying. She can't explain it, it's just one of those things she hates.

An Assortment of Animals: Mostly, but not limited to, canines. She also has a distinct fear of dragons if any of those happen to turn up, but then again, who doesn't?
