Wurm Hunt (Part 1) Empty Wurm Hunt (Part 1)

Post by Guest 20th November 2017, 9:50 am

Job Title: Wurm Hunt Part 1)

    Rank: B

Player Requirements: Must have at least 2 B rank applicants. No magic is to be used during the job, due to location restrictions.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 15,000 words. Kill the Giant Wurm, without magic. Search for clues.

    Job Location: Neutral Grounds

Job Description: Recently the city has suffered a series of attacks from massive wurms. Normally these creatures would be fairly easy to dispatch, but without the aid of magic the city guards are forced to face the beast with little more than melee weapons and combat ability. Considering the sheer size, and incredibly thick skin, of the beast, this task is understandably undesireable. As such the city council has deemed it appropriate to hire outside mercenaries to find and slay the wurm on the cities behalf. The council is prepared to offer 15,000 jewels for the wurms head, and an additional 5,000 jewels for information as to why the wurm attacked.

    Enemies:

Boss: Giant Wurm:This massive creature is well over 150 feet long, and ten feet wide at its middle. The creature has no special element to it, and no magic at all really, but it is a damage sponge, able to take mass amounts of damage and with very thick skin. How the player decides to deal damage to this creature is up to the player. The wurm is also very fast, capable of circling the entire city within three posts. It will attack with bites and smashing attacks. It will also roll or dive under ground as necessary.

There is a small crystal embedded on the wurms forehead. Its purpose is unknown, but it gives off a magical aura, something supposedly impossible within the anti magic zone. Dislodging this crystal will likely not stop the wurm, but perhaps the city council would be interested in it....

Players must deal 30 hits to the wurm, with an additional 10 hits per player.
    One player= 30 effective hits
    2 players = 40 effective hits
    3 players = 50 effective hits
    so on and so forth

    wurm:

Reward: 15,000 jewels to each plauer, normal B rank EXP, access to Wurm Hunter (Part 2)
