    Magic

    Primary Magic: Darkness (also called Shadow)
    Secondary Magic: (Must be filled in later. Magic you trained for goes here)
    Caster or Holder: Caster
    Description:
    Darkness magic can either be used in solid form or gaseous form to start with, but after a large amount of training, it can be used in liquid form.  In its solid state, darkness magic can be used and manipulated for offensive or defensive purposes, forming anything your mind can imagine, so long as you have the power to do so.  In its gaseous state, it has a bit more variety however.  For example, it can be used to choke an enemy, sending it into their lungs by force, or used to simply hide yourself.  After a good deal of training, it could even be used to teleport using existing shadows, also known as Shadow-Walking.  The liquid state, while difficult to use, is also quite useful.  It's density and viscosity can both be changed by the user, allowing it to trap an opponent or drown them. Its poisonous effect can be quite painful for the target, and is very useful for when you feel like making them suffer. You can also drop a small amount into someones drink, darkening it slightly, and use it to poison them.  Darkness users are immune to the effects of liquid and gas darkness, so long as they are the ones who made it.  Apart from the physical aspect of the magic, Darkness magic can also be used to instill a feeling of hopelessness or depression in the target, sometimes even causing them to collapse.

    Most of the time, Alucard will be using his darkness magic to form weapons and choke his enemies, as he focuses on the offensive aspects of magic far more than the defensive. This includes making swords for himself, spears, launching arrows, and sometimes even a miniature giraffe.  While he does focus on the offensive spells, he does know how to perform basic defensive magic, and can make a barrier when the need arises.  He also has made small shards of solid darkness, propelling them through the air with his gas.

    Strengths:


    • Very useful as a poison, and can be used as both a weapon and the poison on that weapon. Any cut caused by a darkness weapon will cause the target to be poisoned



    • Good for area of effect attacks, due to the natural spreading of its gaseous state



    • Especially strong at night, and completely invisible in the dark


    Weaknesses:


    • Although the user is immune, the darkness can easily damage allies as well as enemies



    • The darkness will also blind the user, leaving him vulnerable to those who can see without light



    • During the day, or when exposed to bright light, the shadow gives off a noise like glass rattling, giving away the position of the user



    • When using darkness magic, a mage becomes less humane, caring less for the lives of others and even their own. This can cause death to both allies and the user


    Lineage: Viktor's Descent

    Unique Abilities:

    Bloodlust: A combination of his lineage and the psychological effects of using darkness magic, this ability allows Alucard to enter a sort of "Rage Mode", in which his Spell Power is increased by 25% for 4 rounds.  The downside to this is that he will target both enemies and allies, using any method necessary.  After use, Alucard must wait 6 rounds to use it again.

    Darkness Regeneration:  Passive.While covered in darkness, and not performing any form of strenuous activity, Alucard regenerates 5% of his health every 2 rounds.

    Shadow Armor: Passive. Permanently covered in a thin, translucent mass of solid darkness, Alucard gains a damage reduction of 10% per rank up to S.

    Spells: 4 D-Rank

    Name: Shadow-Shards
    Rank: D
    Type: Darkness, Offensive, Chain-Spell
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 4
    Description: Holding out his arms, Alucard forms two circles of darkness on each palm, facing his enemy.  Then, he launches a single foot-long shard of solid darkness out of one, launching it at a speed of 20 Mph, going only 30 feet before dissipating.  He can continue machine gunning these things out of his palms until physically unable to continue.  Each shard cost 10 MP and deals 20 damage.
    Strengths:

    • Able to shoot up to 10 in one round


    Weaknesses:

    • Requires complete focus



    • Long Cooldown of 4 per shard

    Description:  Throwing his arms up in front of him, Alucard forms a solid-shadow barrier around himself to defend on all sides. This darkness barrier surrounds Alucard, giving him roughly 1 foot of space to move in any direction. This shield can block 3 D-Rank spells, or 1.5 C-Rank.

    Cooldown:4
    Strengths:

    • Instantly forms

    Weaknesses:

    • Light magic deals twice as much damage to the shield



    • Restricts Alucard's movement

    Type: Darkness, Offensive, Over Time Damage
    Description: Alucard forces gaseous darkness into the lungs of the target, suffocating them with the thick toxin.  This toxin doesn't restrict movement, nor does it affect the targets mana, it simply deals 10 damage on the first round of affect, then 10 more damage each of the next 4 rounds. This costs 10 mana, has a range of 30 feet, then dissipates.  It doesn't require continued focus to use.
    Duration: 5 rounds
    Cooldown: 8 rounds
    Strengths:

    • Practically impossible to avoid

    Weaknesses:

    • Can be escaped after first round


    • Requires complete focus for the first round

Since this has a duration of 4 posts, how long must it be on cooldown before it activates again?

    Darkness Regeneration: While covered in darkness, and not performing any form of strenuous activity, Alucard regenerates 5% of his health every 8 rounds. You can change this to a passive hp regen of 5% per two posts.

    Shadow Armor: Covering himself in solid darkness, Alucard gains a damage reduction of 10%, but he can only keep this armor for 3 rounds. You're also welcome to change this to damage reduction of 10% permanently. As well as increase the damage reduction per rank by a set percentage (like 10% per rank up to S-rank).

    Spells: 4 D-Rank

    Description: Holding out his arms, Alucard forms two circles of darkness on each palm, facing his enemy.  Then, he launches a single foot-long shard of solid darkness out of one, launching it at a speed of 40 Mph, going only 30 feet before dissipating. Seeing as the range is shorter than the speed, please lower the speed to 20 MPH. This is 9m/s, which is also the range of your spell  He can continue machine gunning these things out of his palms until physically unable to continue.  Each shard cost 10 MP and deals 20 damage.
    Strengths: You need at least one strength.
    Weaknesses:

    • Takes a long time to recharge How long does it take to recharge?

    You need one more weakness than strength

I can allow for it to protect against 3 D-rank spells, or 1.5x C-rank spells.
