Strengths:

• Coiled tightly around him so it serves both its function quite nicely, only undone when he unties the knot.
  

Weaknesses:

• Terith actually has no control over its ability and it's primarily just the priestess pushing him further.
  
• Just a rope belt. Can be cut by other swords.
  

Abilities:
Crane Dance: The Aki-shime is the priestess' medium of making Terith realize what his "other form" is by stripping off one layer of his soul and revealing what it was originally meant to look like and be. She activates this ability at random intervals, and with each transformation, Terith gains an important fragment of his memories from his 'past life', albeit slowly and steadily.

The Crane Dance basically just reverts his appearance into what it originally was meant to be, though he keeps his current personality and mannerisms. The activation is entirely random, and Terith has no clue on how long it takes before the enchantment wears out. Sometimes it takes days before he pops back into his original skin, it could even take a few weeks depending on whatever the priestess wanted to invoke.
