Escaped Convict- Solo Job- Hyperion

When Hyperion heard that there was an escaped convict in Era, he immediately flew there from the Rose Garden. You see, beforehand he was going to test wine at a fine man's establishment. However, Hyperion saw an opportunity in this escaped man, an opportunity to find something far more interesting than a new wine recipe. An opportunity to discover the inner workings of mass murderer. Darum Ca'cus was notorious for the string of murders he committed two years ago in that very Rose Garden. To know exactly what was going through with his head would be interesting Hyperion thought to himself. He was getting close to Era now, slowing his speed. Hyperion's wings slowly changed to a deep purple as he did this. Not because they always did this, no it's probably red used more at this time, or maybe orange? Simply because Hyperion got bored of the plain white he forgot to change in his rush from Rose Garden. He descended upon the ground in front of the prison in Era, determined to discover why he committed the mass murders.

Upon arriving on the scene, Hyperion soon found himself confronted by a bleeding guard. Ngh! The man groaned in pain, clearly this escaped convict was a hassle to capture. "What happened!?" Hyperion's voice burst out of himself, he couldn't help but wonder. There was a strong suspicion that this killer wasn't going to be interesting if this was his doing. That he was just some force of nature, destroying things just cause. There would be no rhyme or reason to any of it. Just another thing that would eventually befall a horrid fate at the all controlling hands of Karma. [color=#333300"Listen! You need to run sir! There is an escaped culprit on the lose trying to go on some sort of rampage."[/color] To a normal person, that would've been a good sign they should leave. Not just because they could die, but because all of the deaths in the area were pointless. But Hyperion chose to stay for 2 reasons. For one, killing anyone else was never truly okay. Sure he believed that Karma would deal with it, but sometimes Hyperion had to become that Karma. And second, if he was really trying to go on a killing rampage, this person would be dead. Meaning that his interest in the killing maniac was revitalized. It'll be fine, just tell me where he went. For a second, the man thought to object, he sought to protect Hyperion, he thought he would surely die if he went. But at that very moment, when the words were forming in his mouth, Hyperion spread his wings. This time they were dyed a vibrant white. Hyperion gave the man a reassuring smile, an a warm feeling of comfort that only seems to come from certain types of people. A comfort that lets you know it will all be alright took hold of the man. This was no magic, this was sheer charisma. U-Up north, b-but are you an Angel? Hyperion loved being called that, because he believed that all Miracle Makers had some sort of divinity to them. He was always bewildered by how they were overcome by such simple opponents if it was so though, perhaps it was to create the ultimate situation where the ultimate Miracle could save their kind? "Thank you." He said with a knowing smile before ascending into the skies, and flying North for the convict.

Hyperion spotted someone running on the ground below. The man had greasy black hair, a scar on his left side, and a rather attracti- muscular build. He was pushing aside guards who were trying to stop him from escaping Era. Each one fell over quicker than the last, the man seemed to be regaining his former powers as a killing machine. Each time he knocked a guard aside, three more must have given up the chase. He was closing distance and nearly reached the gates of the exit. He did not count on Hyperion's existence. Perhaps that is how karma works many times. Always unexpected, always impossible to avoid. Hyperion descended to stop the man in his path. "Causing a lot of trouble, aren't we?" he taunted the man with his words. The former reassuring smile had turned into what was almost a menacing grin to this man. At this moment, at least to the man watching him Hyperion was some malicious entity. If before he had been an Angel, now he had fallen. Of course, Hyperion truly just wanted to find out why he did what he did before returning him to prison. Or better yet, where he was going. Yet still even whimsy can be misinterpreted.

"Who are you?" the man asked, with a clear hostility.
"Names Hyperion Dieu, though it doesn't really matter," with a clear eagerness.
"What do you want, I've never heard of you before."
"Well for one I need to make sure you don't escape, but I'm also a tad curious."
"Curious? About what?"
"You know, the killings you've done, I wanted to know why you did them.""I pleaded innocent then, and I'm pleading innocent now."
Hyperion didn't believe this for a second. If he really hadn't done it, or at least something illegal, he wouldn't have ended up in prison. Bad things, of course, only ever happen to bad people. This man must have done some great sin, or done something akin to it to have been put into a prison in Era.
"Oh? If you didn't do the killings, who did?"
"That, is none of your concern."
A moment of silence befell the pair. Neither their expressions, nor emotions changed, but they could feel something had. Or at least Hyperion could, he had no way of knowing if the man did. As their conversation dragged on, guards from the prison were lining up to assault him all at once, a fact the Hyperion felt silent.
"M'okay, but why are you trying to escape? Where do you think you'd go?"
The man stood in silence,
"That, is none of your concern."
The man became tense, the realization that the guards he knocked aside were not upon him dawned in his eyes.
