Personality: Reality is harsh as Mifune has come to realize.  The melancholic Zombie remembers a time when life seemed easy, but as misfortune found him even Death abandoned him and he now wanders Earthland alone and with very few comforts available to maintain his sanity.  Though Mifune is kind and jovial at heart and capable of demonstrating happiness when there is a reason to be happy, it seems as those times are far and few between for the Undead.  He is happiest when he is alone or surrounded by trustworthy friends, the latter of which there seldom are.  Though when he is feeling happy, he'll often hum a tune or even sing songs that he remembers from his past life.  

Regardless of whether he's happy or sad, Mifune's not afraid to speak his mind.  He's very open about what or who he does and doesn't like and is not afraid afraid to offend.  In fact he doesn't fear very much, already being kind of dead and all, so even in unfavorable circumstances he'll speak his mind and get himself and sometimes others in to even more trouble than they've found themselves in.  Mifune's negative outlook on "life" keeps him from caring too much about the lives of others as he'll more than likely see everyone he grows to care about die horribly at some point or another.  This negative outlook makes it difficult to form relationships with others but is an indication of a tender heart.  Though he doesn't feel for the loss of strangers, those he grows to care for he will safeguard with all his might.

As a Samurai, Mifune has a strong sense of Honor, justice and morality.  Witnessing injustice infuriates Mifune and he'll place himself in the crossfire even at great risk to his own safety.  Even though his own safety isn't much of a concern to him, even if he could die he'd probably do the same thing, which is how he probably died in the first place, but he can't seem to remember for sure.  His sense of Honor also makes him a very trustworthy and responsible Zombie.  He'll always see things through and never betray those he's made promises to.  

Likes:

• Getting Drunk:  There aren't that many pleasures left in what most call life for the Zombie anymore.  One of the few that he partakes in most often is getting blind drunk which sort of helps to make life a little easier to bear.  
  
• The Dark:  At night it's easier for him to walk around in populated areas because people can't see him very well.  He feels safer and more confident than during the day, when someone can spot the Zombie from a mile away and cause a panic.  
  
• BRAINS!:  He doesn't actually like to eat brains, but man is it fun to tell people he does.  Though insecure about his appearance, Mifune will still attempt to have some fun and scaring people he knows will never understand him brings him some joy.  
  

Dislikes:

• Being stared at:  Since his revival he's lost what he claims to have been "Good Looks."  Thus he's grown to be a little insecure of his appearance and doesn't like to be stared at. To avoid this he often wears a mask or cloak to hide his face, though his corpse odor still tends to draw attention.
  
• Living:  Life isn't quite what it used to be for the Zombie Samurai.  Things don't taste right, things don't feel as pleasant as they used to and people don't seem to gravitate towards him as much as they did while he was alive for some reason, no matter how charming he acts.  Living is a curse and he must tolerate it, but at least he can still get drunk.
  
• Sewing up holes:  He can't complain that he doesn't feel pain anymore, but sewing up all the holes he gets from being stabbed, slashed and severed is just a pain in the ass. #zombieproblems.
  

Motivations:

• To Destroy Evil:  The magic used to bring Mifune back to life is a soul binding spell that fills Mifune with an uncontrollable rage towards Evil in all its forms.  He has an unyielding, burning desire to seek out and destroy Evil in all its shapes.
  
• To Remember:  Reanimation comes with its side-effects.  Mifune has trouble remembering his life as a living human as well as the circumstances of his death which lead to his revival.  He has fragments of memories from his past but nothing truly significant.  There's this itching in the back of his mind that he cursed himself with undeath for a reason.
  
• To be welcome:  His Zombie appearance has had an enormous impact on his self esteem and he's grown accustomed to being feared and hated for it.  Honestly who wouldn't automatically assume that a Zombie was evil?  Though he won't admit it for fear of sounding like a sissy, he desires friendship and companionship, things that used to come more naturally when he was alive.
  

Fears:

• The Mob:  Torches and Pitchforks, when the mob learns of his identity they're more often than not very quick to judge Mifune as an evil creature and band together.  However what he fears is not their pitchforks, it's the magic that compels him to fight Evil.  Anger and hatred fuels the mob and it may be enough Evil to trigger Mifune's wrath.  The guilt of such action would weigh heavily on his shoulders.
  
• The Shinigami:  The Shinigami is the source of Mifune's Undeath.  Before he died he made a pact with the God of Death and upon his Death he became the Shinigami's instrument of Death.  The Shinigami is Mifune's God and should he reject his God and end his hunt for Evil, he may suffer a fate worse than Death.  
  
• Capture:  The thought of being sealed away frightens Mifune.  He does not know the limitations of his Immortality and for all he knows if he ends up imprisoned, buried alive, or just stuck in a hole he may very well be there for all eternity.
