Personality: Ahh, when was the last time I wrote a five hundred word long personality? Anyways, I wouldn't really know how to describe Kenpachi. But since I have to do five hundred words of this, I guess I'll think up the moves as I go.
Kenpachi in the Japanese language translates to "Sword-Eight". I don't know why somebody ever thought to give him such a name, seeing as to how he doesn't use swords all too much. Anyhow, Kenpachi's one of those "jack of all trades" kind of guy. He's slow to anger; almost anything you say or do to him won't set him off. But he tends to do some irrational and frankly stupid things. He's particularly intelligent when pertaining to cash/jewels. Let's just say that he can pull off a ponzi scheme on the level of Bernie Madoff, that's how smart with his cash he is. However, when it comes to other things, like women, you could say he's a complete idiot in a sense. Clearly there weren't many females in the village where he hails from, because he's unwittingly and unknowingly done things such as: Called chicks names, flipped the Middle Finger at them, and inappropriately touched them. It's not like he does it on purpose though.
Asides from that, Kenpachi's a sound soul. He's not a hothead like Natsu, nor a weak-minder like Hanataro Yamada from Bleach. It's best said that he's in the middle. He's kind of the best of both words if you want to put it that way.
Okay. Now that we get into combat, it's better said that Kenpachi's a complete animal. He loves the thrill of fighting. Just like Shunsuke, Kenpachi's personality barely changes when he's in the heat of battle. However, like any other legal mage, he has standards to uphold and morals to follow. He isn't just going to attack someone out of the blue. He also isn't gonna fight someone who he determines to be physically weaker than him. He also doesn't like to kill his opponents. Thing is, if they're literally asking for it, that's just gonna make him not want to kill them more. He'll only kill an opponent if they refuse to stay down, or if they try to attack him and he determines them to be a threat to himself or his friends. That's just the way it works with him, really. But he doesn't have much that he would kill with anyway, just his magic and maybe a sword if I buy one from the shop. Asides from that, Kenpachi's one perceptive combatant, just like Shunsuke. He may not show it, but he's actually quite the strategic analyst. He can create the perfect solutions to any problems in combat he might be facing. He does like to maintain his strength, mind you. He does a workout about four times a week, kind of like that cliched muscle man-type character you sometimes see in rp.
Really, he's quite the distinguished fellow in terms of muscle mass.
And as for the leader crap, I'd say he's a good leader. He sure as hell knows what he's doing when he's alone.
