Akryn was quickly putting together the last touches of a meal he was setting up, for himself, Akeya, and Xierak. He had taken quite a liking to Akeya, despite her distance and somewhat cold nature, and he felt very confident in both of them sticking with his recently formed team. Which was a good thing. It gave him a bit of a group to talk to and work with. He had invited those two specifically so that they could discuss their newest possible member, a fairy named Devon. She had possibilities yes, but he was concerned about her personality clashing with the team.

But more than that, he felt confident in asking these two for help in an upcoming quest he was about to partake in, an extremely dangerous and difficult one, but he felt hopeful they would help once they heard the reason.

On the tall table he had acquired for this occasion sat several plates of food, roasted potatoes, rotisserie style lion meat, a whole lot of it, as well as several trays of fruit and three pitchers of a dark, cherry smelling liquid. "Allright, they should be here any minute now....."

Akeya walked through the Guild towards the place where one of her team members, Akryn, had called her and Xierak to discuss the fourth member of their team, the faerie known as Devon. She wasn't sure what the exact intentions were of this discussion, but the half dragon could make a fairly good guess, looking at how sharply Devon contrasted with the rest of them. She herself was a rather apathetic half dragon (and she couldn't deny having a bit of an attitude), Xierak was some kind of strange larger than normal humanoid with lots of spikes on his body who Akeya thought of as somewhat unpredictable, and while Akryn was a 'normal' human he was what could best be called a fighting maniac. Compared to that Devon, a small and kind faerie who actually had to force herself to fight seriously, was a bit of an odd one. Whether that was a bad thing or not was not certain, but it certainly deserved some discussion.

When she finally reached the right place the winged ninja stared at what Akryn had prepared with some incredulity, her mask and blindfold of course hiding her facial expression, although the fact that she suddenly came to a halt and stared at the meal together with the table that it was placed on would already be enough of a hint for the more observant. Why would he set up an entire meal like this if they were only here for discussion? Maybe this was one of those cases where people tried to combine a social event with something else. Although the amount of food was somewhat noteworthy. Most likely it had to do with Xierak: a creature of his size most certainly would prefer having a lot to eat if possible.

Shaking off the initial surprise Akeya nodded at Akryn in greeting, stepping aside so she wouldn't be blocking the doorway while waiting for Xierak to arrive. In the meantime she studied both the other person in the room and the meal he set up carefully. As mentioned before, the meal looked expansive. It wasn't difficult to get good food in the guild, but to gather this kind of thing still must have required at least some effort. As for Akryn himself, Akeya wasn't completely sure what to make of him. So far he had given the impression of being a competent fighter who also could take the lead, but he also lost himself to his emotions when a situation occurred where he was personally involved, rather than it being a job. Akeya hoped that was an exception rather than the rule: somebody with little self control could be difficult to work together with. However he also was rather easy to get along with, mostly because he didn't ask for Akeya to become overly cheerful or energetic while talking to her. When she joined this team it was at first because both Akryn and Xierak looked like they would be good allies to have, and so far they had fulfilled that expectation rather well, or at least had given the impression that if they, together with Akeya herself, improved a bit more they would certainly become strong allies. They certainly had sparked enough of the half dragon's interest that she didn't regret joining the team.
