Job Requirements: Capture or kill the wanted killer, Jacob Goodnight.

Job Location: Hargeon Town, lower docks

Job Description: There has recently been a string of murders in the lower docks of Hargeon Town. The town guard launched a sting operation and lost one of their own, proving that the killer was one Jacob Goodnight, a local miner who was always a bit off. The guard has issued a bounty for Jacob, asking he be brought in, or down, before he can kill again.

Enemies:

Boss: Jacon Goodnight.

Spoiler:

Standing at six and a half feet tall and over three hundred and fifty pounds, Jacob goodnight is a former miner from Hargeon. His father was a butcher, and Jacob has taken up the tools of his fathers trade for his killing, a large meat cleaver, a carving knife, and a nasty meat hook on a chain to be precise. He has no magic but is incredibly strong, frighteningly brutal, and worst of all, smarter than many give him credit for.

Reward: 2000 jewels for alive, 1000 for dead, as well as the gratitude of the town guard.

"Oh what a day.....what a day."Comes a tired voice from the young mage who was scratching his scalp through his thick afro lazily. Jubei was recommended this job from a random bar maid at the "Coca Tavern". She informed him of the recent news that has been circulating Hargeon. Jubei really didn't care that the man was going around killing people, as he considered that their business. As far as he was concerned, those who died were weak. Therefore, they were consumed by the strong. Nothing different that the rules and laws of the land. Tightening the strap on his katana, he began to move down the alley and into the open streets. The sun had just finished setting over an hour ago, so the moon was standing tall and the night sky surrounding her. Once Jubei entered into the main street, lamps were sitting on every doorway, and pole. It seemed as if the information about a serial killer was real. There wasn't a single soul walking the streets other than Jubei, and it was intensely bright from the massive amount of lights.

"Sheesh, he really has people terrified..." Jubei spoke out loud of his surprise. Hargeon was one of his favorite towns in all of Fiore. He was a lover of the port and the incredibly quality foods, spices, cloths, and almost anything one could think of. Our mage walks silently down the street, making his way towards the docks. He had a habit of instantly heading in that direction, once he entered town. For it was near the docks, that all of the market trading took place. As he walked silently, he stared up at the moon occasionally looking back down. The moon was unusually big and bright that night, even for a full moon. Jubei made a right at the local tea house, and down the steps leading to a large view of the docks. It was absolutely gorgeous to look at, as the moon lite up the sea as well as the docks themselves.

"Are you a fool child!? Hurry follow me!" Is the worried voice of a concerned woman who was absolutely horrified that a child was walking around at night. Jubei turned to face the woman, and could see she was just as worried about her own safety and was trying to rush home."Thank you, but don't worry ab...." Jubei began to say in a kind appreciative voice, however was rudely interrupted as the woman bolted down the street, not even allowing him to complete his sentence.

"YOU COULD HAVE WAITED 3 SECONDS!" Jubei shouted after her, upset at her leaving in such a hurry. He made his way down toward the lower section of the docks, still cursing the woman for annoying him. Jubei made his way pass all of his favorite fruit stands, and notice several fruit still lingering on the table. He immediately ran toward the pile of free apples and began to bite into them. They were crisp and juicy, leaving a perfectly satisfied smile on Jubei's face. As he took another bite, he could hear the sounds of chains billowing in the wind, swinging slowly and ever so slightly. Immediately, his instinct told him to dart forward. Jubei sprung forward, leaping just over the stand, and went 2 meters forward, before tucking and rolling an additional 2 meters. He could hear a loud crash sound from behind him. As soon as he rolled onto his hands, he pushed up and landed directly onto his feet, facing whomever was behind him. The fruit stand was shattered to piece, along with the remaining apples that were there.

Heh....heh.....heh The large man didn't say anything, nor did he need to. He would fit the description of the murderous culprit to the T, and Jubei immediately withdrew his katana as he and the man faced off into a fight to the death.

Jacob reeled in his chain slowly as he laughed maniacally all the same. His clothes were ragged and dirty. His body was tall and massive, and not something to be taken lightly. All of the many years he spent as a minor, had rounded muscles on this man's body. Jubei didn't move, he simply watched Jacob as he finished gathering his chain up still laughing. Jubei watched his facial features as well as his foot steps. Keeping all of his focus on the man before him. His katana remained facing the man, as he was unsure of his next move.

"Hehe...heh....Its a little late for children to be out...heh." Jacob murmured as he walked closer towards Jubei, his laugh was eerie and weird. Almost like a deep wheezing sound, that Jubei wasn't quiet sure what to make of.
"Heh..but the children...their so tasty...!!!"Jacob said with a sick smile, and slightly drooling. Immediately upon finishing his words, he took 3 hug steps forward,c losing in the distance between them, before launching his chain with a hook once again. Jubei never removed his eyes from his target, and was expecting him. Jubei simultaneously began to move forward as soon as he did, and times his side dash perfectly. Jacob missed Jubei just barely, as Jubei dashed to his left side quickly. Jubei didn't stop, and continued to move forward like nothing happened. "AAaarrgh!" Jacob shouts as he quickly wraps a chain around his hands and begins to attempt to swing the chain. Jubei was closing in quickly, and was only 2 meters from him when he began this motion.

"Haaa!" Jubei shouted slashing the katana down on the back of Jacob's hands. Instantly upon the contact with the man's hands, a cup sized amount of blood splashed into the air. "Blaaarg!!" Comes a furious cry from Jacob, causing the giant miner to drop his chain. Jubei dashed forward, getting ready to slash the man's open chest.

....*Cling*....

Jacob was able to pull out a large meat cleaver in the nick of time to stop the oncoming blade. Jubei took a few steps back to reassess the situation. Jacob heaved slightly, he was loosing stamina being such a heavy guy. Jubei also assumed that none of his other victims probably gave him nearly the trouble he was having now. Before Jubei could finish analyzing the wounded miner, he came charging in like a wild bull. Jubei zig zagged a few paces backwards slowly, allowing Jacob to close the distance fast between them. Jacob came charging in and had the meat cleaver raised high in one hand,, his other hand held a carving knife that went unnoticed by Jubei till now. Once Jacob was 1 meter away from Jubei, he side stepped to his left, slashing down on the back of his knees with his katana. Jacob fell to the ground roaring in pain from the sharp cut. He began to attempt a rise, however Jubei was two step ahead of him, and had no care for earning additional funds. Jubei swiftly made his way behind Jacob and once he was directly behind him, he slashes with his katana across the man's neck. His head flew in the air several feet from the pressure of his blood spewing from his neck. Jacob's large and bald head landed with a thus nearby and rolled several feet before stopping. His body continued to erupt blood as a volcano would, before slowly sinking to the ground lifelessly.

"..♪.♫.♪.♫.♪"

Was all the could be heard in the stillness of the night, as Jubei whistled one of his favorite melodies, grabbing Jacob's head in the process. He looked eastward towards the nearest guard station, and made his way towards his reward.
