Arena Challenge: Pan Silfre vs Akryn

Introduction ~Battle area (Sand)

Pan knelt down infront of the gates of the arena, awaiting for it's time of battle. Awaiting the first of many duels to come. Through these gates is where the most glorious battles are spectated from those in Fiore. Pan knew there was something more to this arena and would attempt to give a fight worth taking notice of. Inferior to her opponent in power, but not in the mind.
"This is exactly what I wanted" she spoke to herself, "face to face with a wizard, much like myself, not a bandit or a coward. But a combatant ready to battle sine missione, without mercy."

As Pan tightened her battle harness and stretched to aid her flexibility she thought to herself. "I can do this, I can win. Victory is out there and I can obtain it!" ~With her heart beginning to beat with the same passion she has in her eyes the gates opened. Pan took to the arena and saw her opponent, locking eyes with him and ready to engage in combat. She took notice of the place they were fighting in. A sand-pit, perfect battle to display a persons true colors and skills.

Akryn walked into the arena with a sigh, scratching the back of his head as he did so. He didn't much like these battles usually, but he couldn't quite sit by and let some saber tooth punk talk bad about his guildmaster either. Zeno was the strongest wizard in fiore, and if this Pan character wanted a piece of him, she would have to go through Akryn first.

He wore his usual battle attire of black, leather pants, belt, and jacket, with a black under shurt and boots, and red glove on his right hand, as well as a pair of rose tinted glasses. He looked up at Pan and smiled a bit, wondering just what she had in store for him. "Allright, you wanted a fight, so here I am. Don't ask me to play nice." he said, standing about twenty feet away, his left hand in his jacket pocket, and his right on the back of his head, a small smirk on his face. "Come on then."

Pan stared at every movement his muscles had made, eyeing him down cautiously, fully aware he is more experienced than she is. 'She thought to herself about what her next move should be and how should she engage a wizard she had no idea about. He had no defining features or odd characteristics. All she knew was that he was a member of Eclipse Soul and that she was going to challenge his kin, Zeno.' Pan side-stepped towards her left continuously eyeing him, hoping to take advantage of a opening or find a open injury. Seeing as there were none she took about half a step forward at a time, looking around him getting closer and moving extremely cautiously towards his direction, reaching near the 10 foot mark.

"You're my first opponent in this arena, but do not take me lightly for that will be your undoing." ~As Pan's hair fell forward she brushed it over her ear and regained her composure. "SoulBrandt Calibur" ~ she said as a sword began to emerge from her right arm, ranging three feet from her wrist. As she stretched her arm the full length across she began to slowly charge at her opponent. Cautiously looking for his movements, facial reaction and response towards her blade. Pan ran with her sword across her chest over her left shoulder and potentially serving as a shield or a charging stance. As he ran across she activated her passive ability; to detect her opponents rising or decreasing energy signature. (Which by you should be Red: Hostile, or Gray: Nothing/Standby)

Akryn simply stood there, watching her with a small smile. He was impressed when her arm turned into a sword, but it meant she was a close range fighter. Akryn could fight at almost any range, and as she charged in he would activate his windstep ability, channeling his wind magic into his feet. As he did so, she would see a flash of red around his feet, and a whole loft of sand as his magic kicked it up from around the soles of his boots. "A sword arm is neat, but if you wanna beat me, you better keep up." he said as he suddenly bent his knees and jumped straight up, his wind step spell carrying him at least ten feet in the air before he would begin stomping his feet in the air, the spell carrying him even further and further up. Range was his ally here, and what better direction to go than up?

As Akryn continued to climb, two feet at a stomp, till he was twenty feet in the air, he would form three water shuriken in either hand, before activating his electric touch ability, and throwing the shuriken at Pan, three of them, no electrified as well, zipping down at her chest, crossed opposite of her shielding sword.

Pan chucked to herself "Coward", not loud enough for him to hear, clearly visible from her lips. Pan took note of the hostile energy sequence and immediately took note of him throwing some type of projectile at her. This did not mind her one bit, the second she saw them being created in his fingertips she knew it was thin and small. Common sense would be a projectile, calling back to her knowledge as a warrior Pan knew what she had to do. With her eyes she saw it was angled towards her given opening of her charge, she kept moving forward, and came to a left sided side step and spun to add the extra finesse needed to dodge something aiming for her right shoulder blade.

After deftly spinning from the left palm of her foot she used to its pivot to thrust her movement to close the distance between the area under him with a leap, attempting to get right underneath Akryn, making him blinded by the own currents of air forcing his flight. As she stood under him and keeping track of his movements she attempted to stay behind him at his blind spot, where he could not accurately see or predict her movements unless he intended to be continuously running or come back to the ground in battle. Underneath his air currents and wind gusts on his feet. she could see through and read the flow of his energy clearly as if there was nothing but thin glass separating them.
(How high are you to be exact. All I know is that you're 10 feet up.)

Akryn flipped through the air, keeping his eye on her as he dropped to the ground, suddenly, and rapidly, from twenty feet up, the wind coming from his feet helping push him towards the ground. As Akryn suddenly descended he would flip again, sticking one foot down to slow himself, and sticking the other leg out, bending it at the knee to send him spinning, hurling the other three, electrified shuriken at  Pan in a straight line across her abdomen, standing ten feet from her now.

He would continue the spin though, activating his Rolling Thunder spell, his newest of spells. As he continued to spin, a small tornado would begin to envelop his body, bolts of lightning racing from his body, into the spinning wind, and getting caught there, carried on the air currents, creating quite an odd, and to some frightening, spectacle, as Akryn span, faster and faster and faster still. "It seems you wish to out maneuver me. A more difficult task than you would think." he called from inside the small tornado.

Pan saw his movements and thought odd of them. "Does he really think I cannot see these shuriken ? I saw them from before although these energies are a bit different." ~ she thought to herself as she could fluently read through her opponents attacks on their travel and took note that the shurikens were visibly enhanced with lightning and decided to block them by turning his sword sideways and hiding underneath it's frame; as Pan is a thin girl and can detect energy, she was able to position the blade to block the 3 shuriken and stealth under her own weapon. While he decided to drop down at this close range, Pan decided make him suffer for it.

After the shuriken she noticed a spike in Akryn's energy flow, as it wrapped around him. Based on his aerial skills she knew this could either be lightning or wind type magic as she has sensed this same energy previously at the start of the encounter. With the post it takes to charge up Rolling Thunder, Pan's Sonic strikes is activated much quicker. Now as Akryn believes he's safe in the sky it seems he forgot her range. Pan still sees the energy being built up inside him and jumps upwards from underneath her sword with a strong and fast jump and is able to swing the full length of her blade across his chest. As Pan took her blade swing at him, she made sure to read his energy flow and keep up long enough to land a couple sword swings. Attempting her first swing of many from underneath the sword right across his chest ending on his shoulder blade, the second swinging downwards towards his feet to pause further movement, the 3rd swing across to his right hand to prevent a casted power to occur, if any. 4th-7th are all sword thrusts with the tip trying to land anything she can get her sword on before falling back towards the ground due to gravity.
Hoping to land on the ground safely.

(Pan's Height and Length of sword from overhead would reach 10ft even with a 2.5ft jump. Average human may exceed 4ft which is what I'm going for a full blade swing and mainly for a QUICK-jump.
Pan also loses her ability to see energy.)
