Spy Criminal Watch!

Ayeseru sighed deeply. As of recent days, he had become increasingly more and more lazy. He wasn't certain exactly what to do; he felt stuck in life, as though he was eternally looping around eternal silence. He still ate, drank, talked, and interacted with others normally, but, he felt... Hollow. The feeling of a strange emptiness within his soul was something that had been growing within him for the past few months, and while he was able to ignore it at first, it has now gotten to the point where he could no longer stand the sight of his own face. There was something... Off about Ayeseru, and he couldn't find any way to possibly describe it. He frowned, thinking upon the question himself. What has gotten into the young Fallen God Slayer? He didn't feel like doing... Well, anything. Once more, he sighed deeply, rising form the couch which he previously sat on which was located in the Blue Pegasus main hall, and walked over to the job board. Perhaps, there would be something for him there that could calm both him, and his mind. ...Or it could do the exact opposite and make him think of... Her again. He shook the thought off of his mind, and pulled out a random job from the board without looking at it; he knew for a fact he would be able to handle it, regardless as to what it was.

Ayeseru gazed upon the job sheet which he ripped off from the board. He got a... Relatively simple job to do, especially with a man of Ayeseru's caliber. All he had to do was look out for some man as Ayeseru's client would pass by with his normal day-to-day activities; very easy, considering Ayeseru specialized in hiding and keeping a low profile. He decided it'd be a job he would do, and thus, tucked the job sheet into his pocket. Oak Town, eh? Ayeseru thought to himself. It had been quite a while since his last job. The last job he had done, was a dangerous one, too; it had been a while where he didn't have to worry about some sort of mighty foe before him. Either way, he couldn't spend all day wondering about simple things; he had to get to Oak Town, and that wasn't exactly close to Clover Town. Ayeseru didn't feel like using any spells to get there, so he found some jewels in his dorm in Blue Pegasus for the train, something he hadn't rode in quite some time. He walked silently towards the train station, with a dull expression on his face. Why was he even doing this? At first, he was convinced that he had the desire to break out of his laziness, but now, he wasn't sure himself. That was just an excuse for him to never know the real truth.

Ayeseru was surprised to see that he had arrived at the train station so quickly. To him, it felt as though he had only been thinking to himself for, what... Five minutes? It was normally a twenty minute walk from the guild to the train station, yet, he was already there. He shrugged to himself, not really bothered by the fact, and proceeded to enter the station. He did his usual routine whilst train was his main source of travel - get in, buy his ticket, get to the station instantly, and wait; he would even do this if the train would arrive in about an hour, though, fortunately for him, the train from Clover Town to Oak Town was only two minutes away from setting off, Ayeseru boarding the train at the final possible moment. He took his seat and stared out of the window, not really gazing upon the scenery as they traveled, but more, thinking to himself. Because of this, Ayeseru, again, found himself to arrive at Oak Town in no time at all, whilst it would normally take a few hours to get there. He quickly exited the station Oak Town had, and began running as fast as he could to where his client listed he would be - the center of Oak Town. Ayeseru always wondered why it was called Oak Town while he was younger, but came to the conclusion it was named so because of all the oak trees that the city had; some of the buildings were within them, even.

Ayeseru quickly reached the center, though was unsure as to who his client actually was. The client failed to mention how he looked or his name, or when he'd be there, for that matter... For all he knew, the Fallen God Slayer was a few days too late, or a few hours too early. He sighed deeply, and looked around; seems like there truly wasn't anyone that would give him an idea, till then, that's when he saw it - the strange, mysterious man in the black suit, and he was following an important looking business woman. She was a young, pretty woman, one whom any man could be proud of being in a relationship with. Ayeseru walked up the road casually, quickly nicking a pen from a nearby school supply stand and pulled out his job sheet, writing down "I'll be the one to do this for you." on the back of it. He threw the pen aside, and quickly walked up the ally which the woman and the mysterious male were walking up upon, appearing to have absolutely no relation with any of them. When Ayeseru passed the woman, without the heavily clothed male noticing, he slipped his job sheet in between the woman's hands, and suddenly turned sideways to not be in sight of the two figures. The woman took a brief look at the paper and knew she couldn't react in a suspicious way, and thus, continued normally.

Ayeseru had managed to hide himself in a black ally that was connected to the road where the woman and mysterious figure would walk up upon. When the two passed, Ayeseru allowed his body to dissolve into that of shadows, becoming one himself, and was able to slip down to the ground and trail the duo quietly. It was an extremely uneventful ten minutes; it was just the three of them walking by Oak Town, the woman on occasion entering a shop for one reason or another. Just before Ayeseru thought he was about to fall asleep, it happened - the man took action. He was radiating a purple-like aura, however, it was hidden so well that Ayeseru had to strain his eyes heavily in order to see it; normal people wouldn't even come close to seeing it. Jewels carefully slipped out of the woman's pocket and entered the clocked figure's pocket. If Ayeseru was in a human form, he'd raise his eyebrow. The man simply turned away, and began walking the opposite direction. Ayeseru knew he'd have to follow him, and did so. It was a normal walk, till, suddenly, Ayeseru found himself in a... Store? The man was buying some food and drink with the money he stole from the woman. He then bought some medical supplies from the local clinic that was nearby.

Something was... Strange about this whole story.

Ayeseru continued to secretly follow the man; whilst he was great at masking his own magical energy, it took a truly skilled mage in order to detect Ayeseru whenever the Fallen God Slayer was trying to keep himself hidden. They continued on a normal path, till, suddenly, Ayeseru found himself following the man in what appeared to be... Slums? He forgot that those places existed; he always tried his best to help others and view things in a positive light, and thus, places like these vanished from his mind. The man ran quickly, and far. Ayeseru presumed that he was going to his home, and Ayeseru would be correct. The man entered a rundown building, of what appeared to be a home. The insides were terrible, until Ayeseru and the man got... To a certain room. It was a bedroom, filled with toys, blankets, and anything a young person would like. Still in his shadow form, the man was oblivious to Ayeseru's presence, however, he then saw the young girl that was on a bed, wrapped in heavy sheets, appearing to be sick. The man quickly took off his clothing, and Ayeseru could finally see his features. Skinny, tired, pale, and probably even more sickly that the girl that was in the bed. He gently shook the girl, a light, warm smile appearing on his face. When the girl woke up, a giant smile spread across her face, as she threw herself towards the man.

Daddy!", she said brightly.

Ayeseru's heart sunk.

The man smiled. "How are you doing, sweet heart?" The girl simply smiled. It was obvious that she was very sickly, and the truth about her feeling bad would probably make the man feel even worse than he already had. "I got some medicine for you." The man pulled out some of the medicine he bought from the clinic, and gave the girl a few tablets to drink with the milk he had purchased from the general store. He then gave her some bread for her to eat, and quickly put her back to sleep; she did need her rest, after all. Meanwhile, as this was happening, Ayeseru decided he would look around the house. It was even worse than he imagined; cow webs everywhere, dust, dirty water and dishes. Ayeseru also decided to look in the fridge the two owned, and upon opening it, saw half of an apple and a single slice of bread remaining, and they were both stale. Ayeseru grit his teeth and clenched his fist; how were people allowed to live like this? He looked around the house some more, and found a... Peculiar photograph. It contained three people - the man, the daughter, and his client, the woman! Ayeseru sighed deeply; he felt as though he knew where the story was going.

"Yes, we did get divorced, and, yes, she did get everything." Ayeseru turned around in surprise, and saw the man looking at him, with crossed arms, though, a light smile spread across his face. "Does this mean I'm going to jail?"

Ayeseru looked at the man with a sad expression, and shook his head. "You're breaking the law by doing this, I hope you know that... Ayeseru." Ayeseru couldn't really be surprised; as a Wizard Saint, he was known throughout all of Fiore. He simply nodded, and tilted his head sideways slightly. "You appear to be in worse condition than your daughter," he mumbled. The man laughed lightly, and shook his head. "I'll be fine, no worries, but, uhm... How will you explain this to my ex-wife?" Ayeseru brushed off the question with his hand, and walked out of the door. "Where are you going?", asked the man, somewhat afraid. Ayeseru turned his head halfway to greet the man, eye to eye, and simply walked off. When he was out of the slums, Ayeseru decided it'd be a good idea to use his Void Step ability in order to use the shadows as travel, get to Blue Pegasus, get out a huge rack of money from the vault, and again, used the same technique to get back to the slums. With Ayeseru carrying the bag on his back the way he did, it looked like he robbed a bank or something. He quickly got to the home, and when he did, the man looked at him in shock. "W-we can't accept all of this!" Ayeseru simply sighed, and put down the back in what he assumed was their couch. He approached the man slowly and carefully, and when he was in range, punched him in the gut, the force being enough to knock him out.

The Fallen God Slayer carefully put the man on the chair next to the couch, and made sure he couldn't fall. He grinned. "Sure you can."

Ayeseru sighed deeply once more, however, unlike his other sighs of the day, this one was in a good manner. The emptiness and hollow feeling he felt still remained, but, as he looked on the dedication this man had to making his daughter's life as best as it could be, it would vanish, even if temporarily. Now he had to think up of a good excuse, regarding how Ayeseru dealt with the man... He wasn't sure what would be a good reasoning for this, if he were to be fair. Ayeseru was a great lair, yet, for some reason, this was the first time in his life that he hadn't been able to come up with some reason for his lie... Which wasn't good at all. He had a serious expression on his face, as he walked up the main road of Oak Town; Ayeseru still had a few hours before he was meant to meet his client in the center once more, so, that should be enough time to come up with something... Right? Right?! Wrong. Nothing came to his head. Absolutely nothing. Why was he in such a panic? He knew that there were a lot of lies to tell that would easily solve the problem, but he couldn't come up with one for some reason. Ayeseru gazed upon the giant clock tower that was located not far from the center, and saw that it was almost time for the two of them to meet.

What could he say?!

After many hours, the woman finally arrived, looking at Ayeseru with a seductive grin; Ayeseru replied by giving her a blank, somewhat glare-like stare in return. She got close to him, wrapping both of her arms around his arm, pressing against him. "My my... I would've never guessed a Wizard Saint would've come to help me!" Seems like Ayeseru's status would follow him everywhere. Ayeseru simply continued his blank, emotionless look towards her, though she wouldn't let up. "How did you deal with that... Wretched person?" Ayeseru responded by getting the small pouch of jewels he had in his pocket and would lay them on her hand. She seemed delighted, and finally let go of Ayeseru. "I followed him to a secluded area. I asked him to return the money, and everything else he had stolen. He showed an incredible amount of resistance; attempting to kill me, even... So, I had no choice but to kill him. Typical." A terrible lie, but it appeared to do the trick. The woman was almost jumping in joy. "Wonderful! Thank you very much!" She took a small amount of jewels from the pouch and gave them to Ayeseru, his payment for the job... In addition to what appeared to be... An address...? "If you ever want to have some fun... Make sure to knock on my door~" The woman winked at Ayeseru and walked off.

Ayeseru was disgusted. He hoped to never have to deal with such a person again.
