Personality: Outside of battle: He is a quiet and mysterious person when around strangers, yet can be aggressive towards them if they show hostility or aggression in general. Reason for this is because as a young boy living with his family, they seemed to be constantly at war with surrounding families. So while growing up he was taught to be aware of strangers and to never trust them until they have shown their true side. One day he didn't listen to his families advice and allowed a few strangers inside the walls of his families home, which turned out badly. The strangers massacred his whole family except for him and fits parents. Once his father learned of what Kotetsu had done, he punished him by carving a spiral wound around his right arm all the way to the top of his eye, so that he would never forget the lesson His parents tried to teach him and the disgrace he broughtbrought to the family by almost allowing them to be exterminated. Yet while around his friends kotetsu seems like a totally new person. He can seem upbeat, playful, friendly, and very protective once he claims you as a friend.
Inside of battle: Kotetsu is a very calm and level headed fighter. He likes to be strategical and use his speed to his advantage. He is not someone who likes brute force, mainly because he thinks it's a poor and pitiful way to fight. Kotetsu likes to be a fluid and elegant fighter, as in he uses an attack or ability in succession to another to seem as if they go together. When he was growing up his father trained him constantly and every single day, for most of the day, his father trained him to become a weapon master.He so far is a very good swordsman and good at using staves, poles, and even lances. He is still far from becoming a weapon master or for that a master of any weapon.As in fighting with a team he is decent. If he knows his allies abilities then he will try to use them to his advantage. Also Kotetsu isn't the best leader or even yet follower. He is more in the middle, meaning if needed to be he can lead a team but not perfectly, and he can be a follower or member of a team. He listens to and follows orders almost always but then there are sometimes where if he thinks it is a bad idea or a better plan can made or used, then he will do so. Also Kotetsu is the type of person to never give in during battle, usually in order to beat him, he will need to be knocked unconscious or killed. Also the reason for wanting to be a weapon master is because his family are known for it also in his eyes they are the deadliest warriors because they can and are so versatile. Ajay he lives the uniqueness of each weapon, from how it is used to the balance of each weapon.
