A trip to the bar (Kawaii and Lance)

Lance walked along the sidewalks of Magnolia as he looked around for a place to eat. He felt like getting real drunk today but their was one problem... "Dad where are we going?" Lea innocently asked as she trailed behind him. He couldn't exactly take her into a bar but he also couldn't fight the urge to get drunk. "Screw it..." Lance thought in his mind as he pulled out his jewel pouch "Ok Lea, I have enough jewels to get both of us a drink... Don't tell Rita though... I will never hear the end of it if you do..." he said as he smiled and put Lea on the back "Lea, today we are going to the bar!" he said enthusiastically as he pulled her along.

When they got there he ordered her some apple juice and got him the strongest beer they had. They sat down right next to each other at a table in the back of the bar.

Hikari and Ruby were sitting at the back of a local bar in west Magnolia when she saw a man and a little girl come in and sit nearby. Hikari was already in a bad mood because it was taking forever for her beer to get to her. She just cocked an eyebrow at the man and the young girl with him. She couldn't believe someone had the nerve to bring such a small child into a place like that. When Ruby spotted the man, she became irritated and began to growl at him. Ruby looked as if she wanted to set him on fire. A sweat bubble formed on the back of Hikari's head as she watched the small fox spirit glare and growl at the man. "Easy there Ruby, I know how you feel but calm down..." The small fox's attention then changed to Hikari. "Alright Hikari-sama, if you say so..." After that, Ruby calmed down and just continued to watch the man and the little girl. However, Hikari felt she just had to say something so, she got up and walked towards them.

Lance watched as Lea sipped down the rest of her juice and set her glass down "thanks for the drink dad!" she said as she got up. Lance nodded "No problem. Hey Lea, I called one of my friends to come watch you back at the guild and he should be here right about now to pick you up." Lance said as he flash of blonde hair came by and took Lea back.

Lance took another sip of his beer as he leaned back in his seat and smiled "No I am alone." he said sighing. He looked around only to find a girl standing in front of him "Sup?"Lance said calmly as he stared at the girl "Is there anything that I can help you with?" he asked giving her a kind smile.

Lance looked the girl up and down as he saw that she had red hair and a wolf on her shoulder "That's a cool little wolf you have there." Lance said looking at it "I used to have a pet wolf of my own... although this one looks a bit mad at me..."

Hikari just watched as he watched as the small girl walked off with some blonde guy. She then approached the man with the jet black hair and as she did, he looked up at her and spoke. "Is there anything that I can help you with?" He seemed to notice Ruby who was happily sitting on Hikari's shoulder. "That's a cool little wolf you have there." Lance said looking at it "I used to have a pet wolf of my own... although this one looks a bit mad at me..." Ruby then jumped off Hikari's shoulder at that moment and bit him on the nose "How rude! I'm a nine-tailed fox! Not a mangy wolf you idiot!" Ruby then let go and jumped back onto her shoulder. Hikari then pulled her right pistol out and took a shot at the wall right behind the guy only missing his head by a hair. "you know what? You got some nerve bringing a little kid into a bar! What the hell were you thinking?! Dumba**!" Hikari couldn't stand men, especially men who would actually bring a young child into a place like a bar, not to mention, he called Ruby a wolf.

Lances head shot down at the blast from the gun and stayed down as the girl yelled at him. His hand stayed on the sheath of his sword and when she finally finished yelling at him he stood up with a shade covering his face "You need to know something... You shouldn't mess with people you don't know the power of..." he said as he drew his sword which had a think black aura around it but as soon as he did a voice inside his head stopped him "Lance think about what you are doing..." it said as Lance nodded and put away his sword then looked up at the girl.

"Sorry about that..." Lance said scratching his head as he leaned on the side of the table as he stared at the girl "Look... we got off to a bad start... I am sorry for bringing her into the bar, I promise I didn't give her any alcohol." Lance said as he stood up straight and smiled at the girl "You might not like me but as an apology your drinks are on me." he said as he walked up to the bar and got some drinks and when he walked back he handed one to the girl and kept the second one for himself until he looked at the fox "I am sorry about calling you a wolf as well." he said as he looked down at the unopened beer in his hands "Don't take this to offence but..." he said as he extended the beer towards the fox "You drink?" he asked as he kept the bottle there waiting for the fox to decline or accept.

It wasn't until after the fox made its decision that Lance would speak "Hey, my names Lance... what are your names?" he asked politely as he rubbed his nose for a second then laughed a bit "You've got a strong bite..." he said as he smiled at the fox.

Rin just cocked an eyebrow as the man drew a sword that seemed to have a dark aura surrounding it. He tried to intimidate her but to no avail, there was no man alive who could intimidate Hikari that she had met so far. But Ruby just hissed at the sword with the weird aura. The man then shook his head, sheathed the sword and apologized. He then scratched his head "Look... we got off to a bad start... I am sorry for bringing her into the bar, I promise I didn't give her any alcohol." the guy said as he stood up straight and smiled at Hikari. "You might not like me but as an apology your drinks are on me." Hikari didn't really believe or trust him, but she wasn't about to turn down free booze. she happily accepted the bottle of beer he held out for her and at the same time he offered one to ruby as well. However, Ruby responded by slapping away his hand that held the beer bottle, causing it to fall and break on the floor. "I don't drink that crap, only humans like that stuff. hmph!" Ruby then just turned her head up in disgust. "Ruby! Man, what a waste of perfectly good beer..." Hikari looked a little dissapointed but then just popped the cap off the beer she received and down it in a matter of seconds, following with a sigh of relief. Then, shortly after, he introduced himself as Lance and asked for their names. Hikari just looked at him sharply and replied back reservedly. "My name's Hikari, and this little feisty critter is my companion, Ruby."

Lance bowed to the both of them "Its nice to meet you Hikari and Ruby." he said calmly as he sat down and had a few sips of his own strong beer. "Anyways, I am sorry about before... it was a misunderstanding she wouldn't stop following me and I wasn't about to leave my daughter out in the open like that... Nor let her go thirsty...." Lance muttered taking a few sips and becoming a bit drunk "Because you see... she has no mom soooooo if I left her out there would be no were for her to gooooooo." he said in a drunken tone.

Lance grimaced at the bottle that was smashed on the floor and drunkenly got up to clean it but as soon as he got up he fell down onto the ground. After a few attempts of trail and error he finally gave up and sighed a bit because he was feeling embarrassed "I wasn't trying to clean that bottle up!" he said loudly as he slammed his hand on the table and laughed a bit as he got up to get more beer for himself. When he came back he was holding a crate full of the beer he was just drinking.

Hikari just cocked an eyebrow then frowned in disapproval after hearing that the little girl he brought into the bar was actually his daughter 'This guy's more of a** than i first thought!' That was what Hikari was thinking inside her head as she just looked at him. Ruby was also glaring at Lance. Neither of them cared much for him but since he was paying for Hikari's drinks, she decided to put up with him, for now. However, Hikari couldn't say the same for Ruby, she just kept glaring at him. Hikari decided to order a couple more beers on Lance's tab, she figured, she'd need to be drunk in order to put up with him for more than five minutes. However, before Hikari had even drank one more beer, Lance was already drunk off his butt. This just made him more annoying to Hikari so she quickly downed the two beers, so her drunkenness would allow her to put up with a drunken lance. However, it took her another 3 more beers before she actually became drunk. But it she had gotten too drunk. Her face was completely flushed beet red. Hikari began to fan herself with her hand, she felt really hot, so without hesitation, she began to un-zip her top. "Damn, it's soooo hot!" She said in a drunken slur. Looked like it would be her 18th birthday all over again.

(OOC note: My character has a habit of stripping when she's drunk so, yeah, have fun with that XD)

Lance cocked one eyebrow at Hikari as she unzipped her top "You know its not safe or good to do that in here..." Lance muttered as he stared down at the table "and the fox can stop glaring at me any time as well.... I get that you don't like me but I said I was sorry for bringing her here... There is nothing else I can do..." he said pushing the carton of beer away from him and sitting back in his seat. His eye twitched at the fact that the Hikari and Ruby sort of reminded him of the people who had kidnapped him when he was younger.

The thoughts about it kept going on and on in his head until he finally stood up with a couple tears rolling down his eyes "I have to go..." he muttered as he walked to the very back of the bar and sat down, putting his head on the table "I have to focus..." Lance said as he closed his eyes. When he lifted his head he saw a man sitting across from him. The man looked like him only with red eyes. "Lex..." Lance muttered as the man sort of smiled at him "Hello Lance its been a while since we have talked." he said with a smile. People were staring at the two of them because Lex had come out as a shadow out of Lance's chest.

Hikari payed no mind to Lance's words and continued to un-zip her top eventually revealing her bra and sending most of the men in the bar into nosebleeds at the sight of Hikari's lingerie. Then Lance got up and went to the back of the bar and sat down, Hikari was somewhat relieved that her left and decided, they would leave. She looked over at him, and in a drunken slur said, "Goodbye, shee ya around i guess. C'mon Ruby les go." Ruby nodded and the two exited the bar while Hikari's top was still unzipped revealing her bra as she walked out of the bar.

Lance looked over as they left then wiped the fake tears from his eyes and started laughing "Thank god they left! They were starting to irritate me!" he said as he thanked Lex for backing him up then he got up and left. He didn't like them but he didn't hate them either "They were a unique bunch..." he muttered as he left walked along the streets.
