Personality: Melissa has a strict policy of everyone calling her "Fancy Mel." She hates her given name because it's doesn't POP out enough. She loves to be around bright and flashy things. Mel fakes her rank around those so that she fits in with those around her. Mel loves to talk a lot about the world and what she has been through, but she tells the story of herself in third person to make her life story seem like a legend. Mel is a trickster, and she has a habit of taking jokes too far. When it comes to events in the world that happened many years ago, Mel is the one to be counted on. Mainly because she can give a general idea of what happened. She refuses to give complete answers from her memory because she doesn't want to her intelligence to be used as a weapon. For someone who acts as ditzy as her, she really is a smart individual. In fact those in the Rune Knights all would agree that Mel is not really cut out to be in the Rune Knights. She's far too impatient when it comes to certain things like check points and paper work. Speaking of paper work, Mel hates bureaucracies, she only participates in them because working next to the Magic Council makes it easy for her to understand the world around her. Mel loves to be around big sister or motherly personalities. She hangs out with those who are of that type because she wants to be that type, but Mel fails miserably at being the big sister type. In fact she tends to argue with those around her when they call her out on her copying. Mel loves to relax in spas, but she has a tendency to turn what ever is in the bath house into something bright and flashy. Relaxing bathhouses with just landscape pictures are very boring to her. Mel is not a fan of what goes on in the Magic Council, so she stays out of it. The only reason she works closely with them is because she wants to know more about the world around her and how she can help make a difference.
In battle, when she is around lower ranked individuals, she uses matching rank spells. That way Mel doesn't give away her real age. Mel is known to only use powerful spells only if she is in enough danger that will cause the life of another. Mel will not kill anyone, it is not in her nature. Mel loves to be challenged. When the gauntlet has been thrown, she picks it up with a super happy nature. Mel will also be a jokester in battle. She always makes lame jokes, funny comments, and lame puns to taunt her opponent. Mel will make jokes even more when her comrades in fight absolutely HATE IT. Mel will always protect her comrades and higher ranking officers. Mel wants to put out that she may seem like she's a tad off, but she will come through for anyone. If someone calls her Melissa in battle, she stops what she is doing leaving her completely open for attack and argues with that person about how she prefers to be called "Fancy Mel" or just "Mel."

Flashy Items: Mel has been known to collect anything "Shiny" or flashy. She loves being gaudy and flashy so much she wears the most outlandish clothing. Everyone in her platoon got in trouble when she turned around and wore her flashy outfit. Mel refused to take off her cap. If one were to offer something flashy for a favor, Mel would most definitely see that the favor gets done.
Baths: Mel loves relaxing baths. Just the feeling of hot water on her skin is joyous to her. After Mel's basic training with the Rune Knights, she was the infamous soldier who took six baths that day.
Dislikes: Being called Melissa Sewelle, Melissa, or Sewelle. She hates that so much. The name isn't flashy enough for her. Therefore she prefers Mel or Fancy Mel.
Plain items: Fancy Mel has been known to some how make the interior of every room pink with cute items all around. It's just how she is. She hates plain colors and items with no decorations on them.

On the front of her princess shouldered blouse is a blue jewel. The blouse spreads all the way down to her hands making a style of mittens that cover hands. On top of each of her hands is another larger blue jewel. She wears pink ribbons around each of her wrists. She wears a pink overall dress. She also wears a pair of white lace top socks and under her pink shoes. The toes to the shoes form a crescent shape because they are pointed straight at her shins.
