▹ Suspicious: Distrustful in general, Hideki rarely pours his heart out to anyone. From time to time there are calculated moments of apparent vulnerability. Usually he is only thinking about how someone else can betray him. Praise and words that are meant to appease him only work part of the time due to his heavy dislike of taking others' words at face value.
▹ Dishonest: Tells a lot of lies. He tends to mislead people whenever possible especially when it's personal information about himself. As long as he won't get caught and have relevant repercussions, he will fabricate every story under the sun. Part of this comes from being a mage in a minority and concealing his identity.
▹ Greedy: Really likes money. Wealth can of course come in multiple forms, and that includes power, property, and actual currency. Hideki doesn't necessarily care which he acquires, only that he amasses as much as possible.
▹ Volatile: Unyielding in some ways, but in other aspects of his personality he can be unstable. Hideki also suffers from a condition that resulted in partially fragmented personality. The result is that expression can vary depending on circumstance. He also has a tendency to stab others in the back if he believes it will garner a good result.

He has casual clothes too but doesn't favor streetwear. Instead he wears plainer shirts and pants in color blocks that are clean and sturdy. His normal outfit includes a rather fancy suit in brown and black with lighter tanner brown and silver accents. His hair is deceptively short looking but actually extends a decent amount but is in a somewhat subtle ponytail. In stature Hideki is not overly impressive. - Wealth: Money, connections, and power can pave the way. Sincere efforts should be able to be measured and thought of in a concrete way to understand whether someone is genuine or not. In Hideki's view, a person's labor has a value regardless of what they do. If those results and values cannot be converted freely, they may be less than they appear.
- Resourceful People: Despite any manipulative and selfish tendencies Hideki likes people who work hard and do well.
- Animals: Especially cats, Hideki believes that despite how useless they can be animals have a lot of benefits. They offer emotional support but more importantly can be trained and remain unnoticed in many ways that human figures cannot. As a person who lacks empathy in some ways, he also likes animals because they do not have the same value of life placed upon them as humans tend to. They can be smart but also will generally not betray him or connive against him.

- Public Eye: There are benefits to having the attention of media such as news. Hideki has found that there are many more disadvantages, including disability to move around freely. Considering he is not always operating within the boundaries of the law, he dislikes public attention.
- Pandering and Prejudice: Sometimes he finds it is necessary to flatter people. Hideki does not enjoy these activities, even if he is familiar with it. Likewise he finds it tiresome for people to attempt to flatter him. He also dislikes many preconceived notions that are prejudicial such as homophobia, sexism, racism, and more. Others he understands the root of them but thinks people should generally be open-minded and allow logic to take precedence.
- Self-Sacrificial Activity: Hideki is of the opinion that certain individuals are more suited to be fodder than others. That's just the way of the world; not everyone has the guts it takes to survive. Some would also feel better knowing they gave their life for a cause. Not Hideki.
Motivations:
- Magical Improvements: Mostly to himself and for his own benefit but also for everyone. This is not separated by boundaries of state, nation, country, or any territory like that. The only time Hideki would care is if allowing these magical improvements to fall into hands of specific people who will massively disrupt things. Although it would be nice to start with his homeland, Desierto, and increase the magical community and prowess there, it is of course not limited by border.
- History: There is much to be learned from past mistakes. His focus of course is the future and the improvement of his own and others' quality of life, in that order naturally. In order to avoid repeating errors he believes one should study history. Also it's just an enjoyment of his. He seeks to know history not relegated only to his own nation's.
- Health: It would be nice to find a way to extend his life without a downside. Currently, he has a method of preserving his life and transferring his consciousness to another container. However, it would be better to find a way of immortality utilizing magic and without as many downsides. He also desires to find a method of healing his own body and others in order to decrease many deficiencies in people. This also includes balancing people who have mental illnesses and increasing their potential in Hideki's eyes.

- Control: Hideki tries to remain composed the majority of the time, however he can feel anxious or worried when it comes to losing control. Both over himself: his emotions and actions, and others. He also is afraid of being controlled and has taken certain precautions. Preventative measures aside there is still that possibility, and he hates it.
- Impossible Obstacles: In a world full of magic and various forms of power that function similarly he hates the idea of being sequestered to certain choices based on magic boundaries and road blocks. Though he has physical and mental boundaries that he is so far unable to cross, the idea of having magical ones bothers him more.
- Loss: Mostly losing his life but also the loss of property and much of what he holds dear. Hideki also holds a lot of trepidation when it comes to great loss of human life even if he is not included. Just like most things, lives hold value in a way that may or may not be able to be measured. He can also fear loss of power and resources in other ways. Major loss always includes a disruption to current economy and social states, which is often undesirable.
