Spirit was actually pretty thrilled to meet and accomplish a job with a couple guildies, despite his outward appearance. This would be the first time he had had any genuine contact with a Guild member other than when he first joined. Even so, given that the majority of the Guildhall's members were not there at the time, it was a bit of a letdown. He hadn't even returned to the Guild since he joined, now that he thought about it. He merely got a few low-level jobs and walked away.
He would take a book, a foldable stool, and an apple-sized piece of rock from his haversack. The rock resembled one of those rock candies that kids could buy in stores, but it was actually just an ordinary rock. This crystal rock, on the other hand, tasted like real candy to spirit. Earth was one of his sources of nourishment as a Cavern Dragon Slayer. Spirit pondered if it was a bad idea to keep his slayer status a secret from the guild, but it was bound to come out on this mission.
He'd focus on his increased senses while chewing on the rock and reading his book, waiting for the other two to arrive.
