New Life (Adalinda/Privet)

A shape was moving thru the forest floor of the Lunar woods so fast that if you blinked you would miss it, only a trained eye would see that it was 10 ft tall and had nine tails. Yuudai was rushing back to the home when he had gained a message that had said two words “its time” and it was as if he had been possessed by a demon as he moved as fast as he could back to the cabin he had with Adalinda. The forest seemed to understand that he was in a hurry and it seemed like it was opening a path for him so that he didn’t damage trees or animals as he blazed thru the forest, as he reached the final part before  the opening to their cabin Yuudai started to shift into his human form but in his haste he forgot about how his legs shifted and he found himself going face first into the dirt in pain

After a few moments of pain the hybrid was back in human form and he quickly picked himself up and he rushed to the door before he quickly unlocked it and ran up the stares so fast his feet nearly didn’t touch the steps.”Ada are they here did I miss it?!” he said slightly breathless and also a bit panicked as he looked at his mate for the answer and he hoped he had not missed the triplets birth. His appearance was a bit rough but given how fast he had rushed back that was a given.

Adalinda and Tamaria had noticed that the pods the babies were in were making beeping noises as she babies were wriggling about in them. Ada had no full clue how the babies would come out of the pod, but she had the sinking feeling that it was nearly time as the liquid she noticed was slowly draining from the pods where the babies rested. Adalinda hears Yuudai coming in, and was taking deep breaths as she was nervous for this moment. Yeah, she wasn't physically carrying the babies in her womb herself, but she was still worried about how the babies would fare out of their pods. When he bursted into the room and asked if he missed the babies, she shakes her head. "Not yet. The water's draining from the pods. Tammy's getting the things we need." She says as she was rubbing her hand over Akio's and Setsuna's pods.

Tamaria came rushing back in with a bunch of towels, a basket of various things they'd need, like clothes and diapers for the babies, and formula for them to drink. Over the months, Ada had gotten whatever she needed for all three of the babies, and had been gifted things here and there too. As soon as Yuudai was in the room, the pods vibrated a little and Ada quickly motions for him to come in. It didn't take too long for the pods, one at a time, to start cracking open at one end. The exceed had grabbed the blankets and was prepared to give them to Ada as she slowly helped ease the first pod open. As soon as it was open all the way, the wail of the first baby girl filled the room. Tamaria had to cover her ears from the wailing, and Ada winced a little, but had grabbed the blanket and quickly wrapped the baby up in it. As soon as she was covered, the baby calmed down and snuggled into Adalinda comfortably before she let out a soft whine for food. "She's tiny..." Ada murmurs as she looks up to Yuudai, tears were in her eyes as she could barely believe she was a mom, even though she didn't carry the babies. Tamaria gingerly grabbed Lethe from Ada and look to Yuudai when Ada wiped her eyes and went to Setsuna's pod to help him out of it like she did Lethe's. "Why don't you help her with his?" Tammy asked Yuudai quietly.

Yuudai breathed a sigh of relief when Ada told him that he had not missed anything and that only the water was draining from the pods while Tamaria got the things that they needed “thank god I made it in time” he said softly as he approached and he gently touched Adas shoulder as the first pod cracked open and his mate gently pulled it open and instantly he heard the wail of a child which while sharp made the were hybrid breath a sigh of relief since that meant that Lethe was alright.as Ada looked up at him and mentioned that she was so tiny and she had tears in her eyes as she got emotional.”yes and shes a little bit of you and my all wrapped in one she is perfect” he said softly with tears in his eyes as well as Tammy took Lethe as Adalinda went to start opening Setsunas Pod and Tammy brought up that he should help her out.”Your right” he said softly.

He gently helped her open the pod before just like with Lethe the baby let out a cry and Yuudai helped him out of the pod and got him into a towel before he cradled the young child in his arms and he smiled brightly down at the child who had settled down though seemed a bit fussy.”Shhh its alright little one your father is here and so is your mother” he said softly as Setsuna seemed to calm at his words and he gently passed him to Tammy as the pod holding Akio cracked open and he started to help the pod open.

Ada could barely suppress her grin as she felt Yuudai touching her shoulder. Him saying that their baby girl was a little bit of both of them wrapped in one and was perfect, she felt herself nodding while wiping her tears away. Ada looked up to Yuudai momentarily when he came to help her open the pod, and grins quietly to him. Ada let Yuudai take care of Setsuna, and puts her hand over her mouth. Seeing him, despite in his human form, with one of their babies all wrapped up made her feel like crying again. She couldn't let anyone in the guild know she got emotional over how her boyfriend looked with their kid, she bet they'd never let it down that she got emotional.

Tamaria had shifted herself into her neko human self, and was sitting on the ground with the two babies between her legs while their heads rested on her arms. "Don't give me anymore babies, my arms are full." She says to them while Ada and Yuudai opened Akio's pod. When they open it, Akio was quiet. Her eyes were still closed, and she stayed relatively still. Ada had another towel and a blanket and picks her up carefully. The moment Ada touched Akio though, the baby was startled and started to wail louder than her siblings had. Ada had to duck her head away with how loud the baby was. "She's fine..." Ada couldn't help but groan in pain. Adalinda dried off Akio, then wrapped her in a blanket, like she had with Lethe, and brought her to her chest to hug her close and calm her down. She slowly goes to sit on the floor in the center of the room as she closes her eyes. Tammy had scooted over to Ada, and she carefully shifted Akio over and scooped up Setsuna in her arms to hold both of her babies. Tammy handed Lethe to Yuudai as she went ahead to make the babies a bottle for their first feedings.

The new mother looked between all three of the babies, and noticed how each of them kind of looked like Yuudai in majority of their facial features, as they had slowly opened their eyes, the girls had purple eyes, while Setsuna had blue eyes, and Ada smiles softly. "It looks like they're a lota bit you, and only a little bit me." She chuckles when she moved her hand to touch Akio's nose before Tammy gave them bottles and helped Ada position them to hold the babies while feeding them at the same time. After Tammy helped Ada, she gave Yuudai one for him to fee Lethe with and was helping him a bit. While Ada had occasionally went to the daycare to assist with the children, Tamaria had slipped away to the hospital to figure out what the hell to do when the babies would be born from their pods from home, rather than from Ada in the hospital.

Yuudai smiled softly as he saw Setsuna calm down and then as Akio let out a loud wail the hiybrid winced but smiled still as  he took Lethe and  he felt happy tears run down his cheeks as he looked from Lethe to Tammy.”our little bundles of joy” he said softly before he saw Lethe open her eyes and he saw stunning purple meet his own  vibrant purple orbs and he saw what was the barest hint of a smile on her face as he smiled back at her.”something tells me Lethe is going to be a daddys girl” he joked softly before he heard Ada comment that they had a lot of him in them and a little of her which made the hybrid chuckle before shaking his head. “they may look like me but I get the feeling their personality will be more of you” he said as he saw  Lethe reach for him for a moment before she took her bottle and began to drink.

After a little bit the triplets had finished their bottles and Yuusai put Lethe in her crib while Ada would put Setsune and Akio in theirs before  Yuudai took a breath and he then spoke. “Ada I have something I need to ask you” he said getting her attention before he would get down on a knee which put him at her height before he pulled out a small black box before opening it to reveal a hand forged ring with an opalescent gem in the center.”Adalinda Ortinbras my Alpha my mate my dragon will you marry me and be mine forever?” he asked softly as he laid his emotions bare for her to see.

Adalinda takes a deep breath as she looks down to the babies in her arms. She couldn't help but nod to Yuudai as he commented on their bundles of joy. They really were, and she was well past head over heels for these little gumming heathens. When he commented that Lethe was going to be a daddy's girl, Ada snorts as she rolls her eyes. "Akio might as well. Just don't show favoritism." Tammy warns as she looks between the two. At his comment of Yuudai feeling like the kids would have Ada's personality, the exceed seemed to pale as Ada laughed about that thought. "We're in trouble if they act like me!" She cackles.

When the babies were in their beds, Ada was admiring their small bodies after they were dressed in their respective onesies with their names on them. Lethe was a little chubbier than her siblings, but she still fit the clothes quite well. Yuudai saying he needed to ask Ada something, made her turn her head to him slowly. She hadn't been wanting to look away from the children yet. Him getting down on his knee though... it made the dragon slayer a bit confused, and she turned to face him. Her mouth drops at the presentation of the ring, and her eyes grow wide at his proposal to her. The corner of her mouth twitched up into a grin before she brought her hand up to pinch between her nose, trying to not let her tears get the best of her. She glanced down at the ring once again, and broke as tears quietly went down her cheeks and she went to wrap her arms around Yuudai's neck. "Yes." She wheezes out as she was choking on her tears. She had buried her head in his neck a bit, trying to gain control of her emotions as this wasn't normally Ada. She was usually the one to put her hands on her hips and flash a smile because she felt badass.

Tamaria had gasped at Yuudai's proposal, and clapped her hands a little. Ada pulls her head back and starts wiping her tears away. "Boy! Too bad you didn't propose to her in the guild, guys." She snickers. Everyone would have been on her for shedding tears probably. She couldn't help but snicker to them. Ada just looked over to Tammy, and snickers as well. She was having the same thoughts. She then looked back to Yuudai and grins to him. "Y-yes, I'll marry you." She says a bit more clearly, but with small hiccups. She still was wiping straggling tears away. She looks to the ring and couldn't help but take it out of the box herself to admire the stone and the ring itself. "It's gorgeous..." She mutters before she went to slip it on her ring finger herself. It fit perfectly, and tears started to well up in her eyes again as she looked back to Yuudai. She was starting to cry once again as she wiped her tears away and went to hug him once more, this time, in a tighter grip as she was feeling extremely happy over the proposal, and the ring. Tammy came over and was trying to inspect the ring quietly. Adalinda chuckles quietly, and moves to show the little human-like exceed her ring.

“Tammy I’m hurt that you would insinuate such a thing” Yuudai said in mock hurt before he snickered a bit at the exceed going pale at the the thought of the triplets being like mini Adas. When she broke into tears at the sight of the ring he presented for a flicker of a second Yuudai felt worry that she might say no but that fear instantly vanished when she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck and managed to wheeze out yes while he hugged her back with a huge grin on his face. Tamaria pitched in and said that it was too bad that he didn’t propose before the guild and Yuudai could only shake his head. “no I wanted to propose when our children were born now we truly are a family and a pack” he said softly.

When Adalinda repeated her answer and declared that she would marry him he could not help himself and he pulled her into a hug and spun her around with him being very careful about the triplets as he could not help but feel extreme joy in how today had turned out, his children were born and healthy and the woman he loved was going to marry him. “Ada would you mind if I took your last name I know its normal to take the guys last name but I want to be different” he asked as he saw her put the ring on and said that it was gorgeous and he smirked.”I crafted the ring myself and I spent hours making sure it was perfect “he explained to her.

Ada gives Yuudai a pouting smile when he mentioned that he wanted to propose to her when their children were born, and takes a deep breath. "Jeez! So you had to make me cry more in one day? Goodness." She laughs to him. She laughs a bit as Yuudai pulled her into a hug and spun her about, making her yelp a bit. "Yuudai! The babies are asleep right there!" She hisses to him, leaning over in his arms to look down at the babies still sleeping. Her noise didn't wake them thankfully. Yuudai's question of taking her last name instead of her taking his, made her blink and look at him with wide eyes.

"What?" She honestly hadn't thought of taking someone's last name, and she makes a small face for a moment before she slowly nods to him. That didn't sound too bad to her honestly. Him taking her last name instead. She grins down to her now fiancé, and snickers a bit. "Of course you wouldn't just simply buy something you could make yourself... It's beautiful." She mutters as she leans down to kiss him on the lips if he still held her in his arms. "Mr Ortinbras..." She grins cheekily at him by calling him her last name. Over at the other end of the room, Tammy had changed back to her exceed self and was making gagging noises at them for how mushy they were being, let alone Adalinda herself.

Yuudai just chuckled a bit at Adas comment of making her cry more in one day then normal and he shrugged his shoulders.”it just seemed like the right moment to do it Ada” he admitted before he grinned at her. He did get slightly surprised when she hissed at him about spinning her around.”relax babe I was careful I know the kids are close but I wouldn’t let anything happen to them” he assured her. As Adalinda seemed a bit confused about his choice to want her name instead of his own he nodded.”I want to take your name instead of you taking mine I feel like being different then everyone else.” He explained .
When she grinned at him and mentioned that he wouldn’t buy something he could make himself and he nodded.”I have experience in metal work so I was confident in my work. Plus since it is my metal I can sense it so I can find you if your ever lost or in danger” he said softly. He had made sure that the ring had a safety feature in it so that if he needed to find her when she was in danger he could find her with no trouble. When she called him mr Ortinbras he smirked a bit as he kissed her back before he spoke.”Keep talking like that and the honeymoon will start early” he said with a cheeky grin before he thought for a moment.”We should consider going to see my family soon Ada the triplets triplets are born so travel should be ok” he said wondering what her opinion on it would be.

Ada had pouted to Yuudai as he mentioned the moment was right to propose and make her cry twice. She listened to his explanation of wanting to take her name to be different. "I wouldn't want to give up my last name anyways." A grin was plastered on her face. She pauses though as he mentioned the metal being his, making her blink a bit. "Part of that sounds romantic... as well as kinda creepy. But great in emergencies." She nods with a snicker.

"Thought we've been on our honeymoon since you built this place?" She chortled. When he mentioned traveling to visit his family, Ada blinks a little. "Yeah, we should wait a few weeks, to make sure we got the baby thing kinda down first before we travel with them." She laughs halfheartedly. "Especially with three of them..." She was actually already worried about how hard it might be with three kids to watch over. Tamaria nods a little. "Yeah, get used to taking care of babies in your home setting first before going somewhere." "Since when did you start sounding like a baby expert?" "Since I read a book on it, unlike you." Ada scowls a little at the purple exceed, who just grinned back at her.

Yuudai chuckled a bit at Ada saying she wouldn’t have given up her own name anyways and also thought that his metal being used was romantic yet creepy and he rubbed the back of his head”honestly I didn’t mean for it to seem creepy I just wanted to put a safety measure in it” he said his voice held concern in it, he had only done it as a way to keep her safe when he was not there, he was sure that when he got his ring it would be the same way with her metal being used for his ring. Yuudai laughed a bit when Ada mentioned that it seemed like they had been on their honeymoon since they got this place but he shook his head after a moment.

“you may have a point but I do want us to take a proper honeymoon at some point” he suggested before he nodded at her suggestion of going to his family after a few weeks, they did need to get used to caring for the twins before going anywhere.”Yeah you have a point we do need to learn, though so far the little wonders are doing really good" he said as he looked back at the triplets and a soft smile spread on his face.”God I cant get over how beautiful they are Ada” he whisper softly, here he was a gigantic hybrid and yet right now he seemed just like any other man in the face of his soon to be wife and his kids.
