A Rat In The Inn

Little eyes scanned her surroundings as she made her way as fast as her small legs could take her. The giant beings around her were terrifying! The yelling, the screaming, the stomping around of feet that were bigger than she would ever be, all of it was just too much! She needed a safe place to hide, to calm down, and maybe find a bite to eat! It wasn't long before she squeezed through the door of a much quieter building, one that smelled of delicious foodstuffs and had plenty of large gaps she could go between to hide from those around her.

Those that could read would realize they were inside the Silver Moon Inn that resided in the city of Rose Garden. The little rat known as Indigo had no clue of this, but it would be lovely if she could find someone to help calm her down so she could find something to eat before she starved to death in her fear.

The woman's senses were that of an animal, canine to be exact, extremely sharp hearing and scent, ability to see in low light even though her sight was rather poor by human standards. Even the pitter patter of something as small as the paws of a rat? Was something perfectly within the range of hearing for Jiyu and smelling another creature nearby was just as easy, especially considering the fact she had the wind by her side to aid that ability. This when Indigo entered into the Silver Moon the lavender haired female was well aware of the rat's presence, even if she could not see her right away like some normal person would. In fact? The creature was entirely out of Jiyu's visual range, not even a small trace of the rodent within her gaze.

Instead, the Inugami found the rodent by using her nose in combination with her ears to pinpoint the scent and heartbeat of the creature. "So I was right, it's a rat." finally she had gotten close enough to see the pale furred rodent, crouching down to get a better look, large optics focused in on the creature, waiting to see what it would do as her tail laid idly on the floor boards of the building.
