Her last to the inn had been uneventful and unassuming: some brief chatter with a couple regulars while she waited for a table, a quick meal to stop her hunger pangs, and a generous tip for the waitress. For certain, it was nothing out of the ordinary…except for one thing. She had noticed that several of the staff—including her waitress—had some kind of a tattoo somewhere on their body; most of them had it on their arms or the back of their necks, and she couldn’t quite make out what it was, but something had tipped the huntress off that something wasn’t quite what it seemed to be at the Silver Moon Inn. Her visit into Rose Garden from then on that day had been a bit of a blur—all that had been on her mind then was the tattoo….what was it? It was almost certainly a guild mark, but it was one that she didn’t recognize off the top of her head; then again, the only one she did happen to know off the top of her head was that of her current guild, Black Sails.

This was her second visit to the magic-laden city in the past month—her curiosity about the inn led her back to come and see the sights once more—but, while her mind was buzzing with questions that, as of yet, had no answers, her heart was in a small fit of inner turmoil as she combed through the sidewalks in search of that corner lot. It was no secret that the huntress didn’t quite fit in with the band of pirates she had stumbled across—she could only name one or two of them, at most—and her constant travelling and sight-seeing made it difficult to consider the island much of a home; in fact, the cabin they had made for her there was practically untouched. She had no belongings there to worry about, no personal connections that she could consider herself invested in; perhaps, it was time for a change of pace after all.

Much like any other day that she was stuck in town, her hair was untied and left to flow down her shoulders and back. Instead of her traditional tunic, she found herself in a hooded long sleeve shirt and denim pants—her boots replaced with flats. Though she found the shoes to be uncomfortable—they were a gift from a friend that she had worn on only one or two other occasions—they, along with the otherwise “normal” appearing clothes on her person, were worth the lack of attention she had gotten the last time she had shown up in town with her, quote, “eclectic” attire.

The evening itself was not all that terrible for walking; although she often found urban areas to be hot and stuffy, the breeze that blew was refreshing enough to stop her from complaining. Although she certainly had purpose in being there, her walk through Rose Garden had resulted in the flippant purchase of a necklace from a vendor on the street—a gold diamond with some runic engravings—that had been promptly stuffed in her pocket to try on later; she had some spare coin, why not spend it on herself a bit? The necklace itself had caught her attention for some reason or another…although she couldn’t figure out why; perhaps it was magical…perhaps it was just a trinket…either way, it was hers now and she’d have to live with the purchase since it was unlikely she would be able to return it.

About twenty minutes or so of shuffling through the human traffic of the city, she eventually came to the Silver Moon Inn once more—tucked away in its unassuming spot in the corner. From what she could see outside the windows, it looked like the dining area was empty aside from some wait staff bussing tables and cleaning up after the rush. As she opened the door and the bell rung, she gave a small yawn before asking, “Um..hello?”

The weasel finally listened to the staff of the Silver Moon Inn, and got out of the way so they could clean up. Though not fully out of the way of course. He sat on the bar with a small smile on his fair skinned complexion, humming a random tune to himself as he kicked his legs back and forth. He held a bottle of alcohol in both of his hands, tapping on the glass to the beat of his randomly made up tune. It was quiet, no customers were in, the inn just finished with a rather busy session of serving. Itazura not really helping in the matter, he was a mage of Black Rose, but he didn't act as staff for there main area. He just sat around the whole time, taking food and alcohol when they needed it the most. Cause he found it rather entertaining, it made the workers even more irritated then they already were due to the business. Not very nice, yes, but he didn't really care now did he? No, the answer is no, he does not. Though this is the usual shenanigans expected of the itachi, I mean he was a yokai, most known for their pranks played on humans. Though he was worst then most being a weasel yokai, it was in his nature to be increasingly more annoying then others. Not a very good way to make friends I might add, but I guess that's okay because he doesn't really want friends.
Itazura ignored the chattering of the people cleaning around him, grumbling that he was so annoying and in the way. Why was he even here if he wasn't going to help clean? Some said. He was lost in his own thoughts, day-dreaming about who know what, probably more food if I'm being honest. And not the food normally served at the bar, I'm talking his more preferred meals of humans. Which of course isn't very legal, and being in a legal guild, he had to keep his usual eating habits on the down low. He was pulled from his thoughts when the bell at the entrance door rang gently, making anybody within earshot aware that someone was either exiting or entering. In this case it was the latter. The boy smiled more widely and he stood up from his squatting position on the bar and he hopped down. "Konichiwa~ Welcome to Silver Moon Inn" he said with a giggle, intertwining his fingers behind his back as he walked over to the white haired young woman. He wasn't the usual greeting crew for Black Rose's main inn, but since nobody was around, he decided to be the one to do so.
His hood of his t-shirt hoodie was down, showing of his tousled dirty blond hair and two little orange weasel ears. From under the rim of said hoodie, around his hip/waist area, peaked out a fuzzy weasel tail about the same color of his ears. Gladly he didn't have his intimidating six or so inch claws out, that wouldn't be very welcoming now would it? Though within his welcoming grin you could see his sharp fangs, luckily for the new arrival, he wasn't very hungry right now and has been keeping control of eating people lately. Cause his bite is probably just as bad as his bark if not worse. He watched the girl with a mischievous gleam in his hazel eyes, instantly making people not trust him upon his first meeting, that along with his grin. He may look nice, but he looks rather, well, weasel like. Like he is getting ready to play a prank or steal your money, and knowing him, he probably is. The kamaitachi truly lives up to his species' stereotype, well besides the one about not hanging out with humans. That he does.

"Ita...i know that gein and it better not be you trying to play a prank on someone in the ends, remember who the staff had to call the last time you played pranks" a voice spoke out from entering behind the girl who has entered the inn and was greeted by Ita, Kaisto Tyreal and his companion Bastet did.

"ah dont pay the boys no mind you know how they are" Bastet spoke as she patted the girls shoulder as she looked to Ita before she walked over and attempted to try and noohie him as she liked to at times give him a hard time from time to te, harmless really, well if you were a god or goddess yea.

Thos made Kaisto laugh a bit deeimg Bastet cut up with Ita, weasel and cat playing eh not bad id say. That was until he looked down at the girl and tilted his head curiously "hmm wait a minute havent i seen you before?" the young male asked her as he ceossed his arms and looked at her as he rubbed his chi slightly.

The interior of the restaurant was exactly the same as it had been the time she last visited--same wooden floors, same clean and elegant counters and tables, same lighting; albeit, aside some servers cleaning tables from the rush, the restaurant floor of the inn was entirely empty...well, almost. The first person to walk up to Karin was a lad no older than 18 or so; he had a wily, weasely grin plastered on his face and seemed to be the slightest bit drunk--the boy's fangs made her a bit uncomfortable; the ears and tail of a weasel confused her. It should not have surprised or confused the huntress much--the first person she had met in Black Sails, a girl named Jiyu, had possessed the tail and ears of some form of dog--but, perhaps, it was only the fact that she had not been expecting someone with such traits to greet her that through her off. The second face to approach was one that she couldn't particularly place--perhaps he had been there the first time she had paid a visit--but it was clear that the shorter man wasn't look at her face, but her chest.....not that there was much to look at; as tall and slender as she was, Karin was a bit of a washboard.

She cleared her throat, partially to get the second young man to stop staring at her bosom, but also to give her a split second to think about what she was going to say. "Oh, um..." she started, "Last time I was here, I was told that this inn was run by a guild by the name of Black Rose...I was wondering if, perhaps, there was an opening available?" While normally she was able to speak without much issue, the huntress was a bit put-off by the weasely appearance of the greeter...

"Karin!" the slightly delighted sounding voice would be familiar because in spite of being able to do it, Jiyu rarely ever made effort to change her voice, the tone always remained this soft yet confident quip. Kazehime had just come from or was just going on a mission when she saw the other girl, that much was clear from how the canine was dressed. Instead of some simple patterned bra top, daisy duke shorts paired with a light unzipped jacket, Jiyu was clad in her black crop top and skirt with all her armor secured only seeming to be missing her weapons. Of course, as she ran over the female realized there was a chance the light haired girl she was rushing to meet might not recognize her, considering now she had lavender locks and bright crimson optics. The ace joined up with everyone very quickly, smile on her pale pink lips.

it was good to see the other girl again since they did not really have any bad blood beside for Karin's slight fear which Jiyu was unaware of. "Encase you can't tell due to my shapeshifting, Its Jiyu." a second later one would be able to note her wagging lavender tail, the fact she still had her claws and those elfin ears on the side of her head. "We'd be glad to have you if that's what you want." as she spoke the wind user pulled a chair out from the bar, motioning that everyone should sit down if they wanted. The reason behind this? Was her own lack of physical stamina.

Of course, as expected by the itachi, the young huntress showed immediate distrust. Not that he cared, or at least appeared not to. Good that's what he was going for with his appearance and attitude, his tail swayed side to side as he stood there. He readjusted the positioning of his hands, unlocking them from each other he placed his hands in his pant's pockets. He continued to look up at the girl with the rather unsettling look that rested upon his fair skinned expression, and read that he was planning nothing but trouble for the new arrival and probably others around the guild hall. Speaking of such, Kaisto and his companion, the cat goddess Bastet arrived beside them. Hopefully for the white haired woman that she was not afraid of being crowded, because such began to happen to her. They spoke to her, the black haired woman attempted to give the weasel a noogie on his tousled locks of dirty blond hair. But he swiftly ducked underneath the arm that tried to wrap around him, and walked around her to the other side of the former mage of Black Sails. Playfully he stuck his tongue out at her. Then he heard the woman beside him speak, he changed his expression back to it's previous grin as he looked up at her, listening to whatever she had to say.
The itachi was about to respond, rather amused by how he made her uncomfortable (though I guess where Kaisto was looking also did the trick), but then the canine made her way over to them, calling out a name that the weasel could only assume to be the new arrival's. She wore a black outfit fitted with some armor atop of it, not the usual wear that the boy sees her in. She is usually a lot more skimpy then that, not that it bothered him, but it was weird to see her in something different. "Ello Jiyu-Chan." After greeting her, he nodded, agreeing with what the Ace had just said "We'd love to have you around~" saying this complete with a mischievous chuckle afterwards, which probably wasn't the most welcoming thing, but then again, like I said earlier, he wasn't really trying for that. Which he should be considering he was welcoming her, but being the rather uncivilized and prankster weasel that he was, that wasn't really going to happen.

Kaisto blinked at the huntress, he tilted his head at her expression and her clearing throat. He then stopped and backd up quickly "whoa whoa qait i wasnt looked at t-those there" This madd Bastet bust out laughing as she patted the shoulder of the Huntress "haha! Ya know i like this girl i think she would be great in the guild, so your name is Karin huh? Id say we should let this girl join if she makes Kaisto think twice about what he did" this made Kaisto hiff as he was beight red in his face as he covered his face with his hat "ya know...you can be a cold as ice at times bastet"

Bastet again laughed before she then looked at the huntress "noce to meet ya, im Bastet Fuwakawa, the blushing brunette is Kaisto Tyreal, hes the black roses own Sky Dragon Slayer...the other two...you have met them right??" the young goddess asked the huntress.

There was a familiar voice that sounded behind the huntress—a delighted squeal of sorts that surprised her, caused her to flinch. The fact that so many people had shown up to what was, in her thoughts, supposed to be a simple, quiet joining of a new guild already had her on edge; that the shapeshifting canine-girl was there only made the fight or flight instinct harder to ignore…but, she was able to suppress acting on it--though she might have been in a different set of colors, it was impossible to mistake that voice, tail, and ears for anyone else. Despite making appearances of being friendly, there was unspoken friction between the huntress and the other girl. Scratching the back of her head and running her fingers through her hair a bit, Karin mumbled, “Um…thanks…

She pulled away as the cat-woman tried to pat her shoulder, but was otherwise polite in her reply. “I met Jiyu during the short time she was in Black Sails,” she said, “But, I can’t say I know anyone else here.

Jiyu did not realize it last time, but this time she was in an area she was comfortable with completely and able to process everything going on. The fear scent was something she couldn't mistake anywhere, sometimes things would be masked, but here there was no chance of her missing it. Kazehime sighed slightly hearing the slightly elevated pulse and increased breaths from something akin to fear. Karin was frightened of her and the wind user only realized it now, optics glancing down at her claws and realizing- Jiyu bit her lip slightly, realizing what was going on to an extent. Kazehime sighed slightly taking a step back as she bit her lip once more, gnawing on it slightly. "I'm sorry."

The female suddenly shifted to have long black hair with orange dyed tips, her eyes heterochronic, but her claws vanished, as did her fangs and tail her ears going normal. However, this also had a horrible second effect as well, deep purple bruising appearing on her arms and legs, burn marks scored across her body, scars on one side of her face and shallowness in her eyes. "Is this any better?" she couldn't look at the other girl and sighed out again leaning against the wall feeling the weakness of being in a replica of her human form, sliding down the wall due to the new additional weakness caused by it.  "Where do you want your guild mark and what color do you want it?" still keeping her eyes slightly averted a slightly colored mist gathered around Jiyu's hand, a light tinge to her wind showing that she was going to place the guild mark for Karin.

His greeting to the canine appeared to have been ignored, but he didn't seem to bothered. He was more of a third wheel in this situation. They had some history, apparently they were both previously in another guild. Black Sails, an independent guild Itazura has heard. But past that he didn't really know anything about them, I guess if he was really curious he could ask any of the two young women that stood before him, conversing awkwardly with one another. But first of all, he would be interrupting some sort of awkward tension between them, the huntress appearing to fear the ace in some sort of way and said ace just realizing this. And he didn't like interrupting those types of situation, their awkwardness amused the weasel. Plus he didn't care enough to ask them. Maybe I should've said that first and just moved on, but oh well. Moving on from that unimportant thing.
The black haired woman asked the other where she would like her guild mark and so on. Karin also said that she didn't know anybody else there, or at least she didn't think she did. So since the rather enjoyable view of the tension has now subsided, he figured it was a good enough time as any to introduce himself to the newcomer. With a playful and mischievous look still on his fair skinned complexion, he 'politely' bowed and spoke "Well Karin-Chan, my name is Aruzati, pleasure to meet you" he said, leaning up slightly and grabbing one of the taller woman's hands and kissed it. Previously seeing men greet woman like such, and plus he figured it would make the poor newcomer even more uncomfortable with him. Cause that was just funny to the itachi, considering she didn't like his, well, weaselly looks. That devilish and shifty expression that always seemed to be planning something, and that something was never good. And you could probably assume that he is going to do something, even if it his default expression to wear on his face, he is always planning something so, yeah. Just an all around great guy that you can wholeheartedly trust..... not.

It had not been Karin's intent to cause the other girl to shapeshift into her now weakened state. Fear was not the reaction that the huntress was having to the presence of Jiyu, but unease; the combined canine and supernatural features she previously wore had been concerning, even if she herself had been welcoming and warm. The symptoms of mild fear or anxiety--the slight increase in heart rate, her imperceptibly quicker breaths--although in part caused by the girl's presence, were more immediately caused by the presence of so many others in the general vicinity. She looked at the other girl's battered body, frowning with concern--it was not the scars or the bruises that phazed her, but the fact that she had been the cause of it. "You didn't have to..."

Before she could finish her statement, she heard the weasel introduce himself. The huntress found the weasel to be more a problem than Jiyu's previous canine traits; that wry grin and the childish tone in his voice made her uncomfortable. Had he left his introduction at the bow and the pleasantries she'd have given a smile, perhaps some thanks, and continued the conversation she had been having with the other girl; however, the weasel took her left hand and kissed it. As he lifted his head and gave her that same, mischievous smile, the huntress took ahold of one of the boy's fingers and bent it backwards until there was a sickening crack.

"Ah...um..." she said, biting her lip. Deciding to let him think what he may, she took a few steps over to Jiyu and rolled up her left sleeve, presenting the underside of her wrist. "Just black," she said in reply to her inquiry about the tattoo.
