Lost in underground desert

Whoever would ever say that deserts could be fun? Anyone who decided to live in a place like this was either insane or straight up masochist! The poor moon goddess was walking on the sandy surface with a heavy cloak hiding her entire figure, head included. Only a small opening for her eyes to allow one to see was present. Why in the world did she accept a job like this? Well, it was for one of her new guild mates, actually. It appeared that he was interested in all this and wanted help. So here she was, trying to help. And yet, she found herself in the most uncomfortable position ever. Being clad in cloth from toe to her ears, it was the exact opposite of what she liked. The dislike of clothes transformed into hate as she walked further, the heavy attire weighing her down like nothing else.

But if she tried to remove it all like she wanted, things would not get much better. The scorching heat would get to her soon most likely and not to even mention the wind that was carrying particles of sand everywhere! If something like that would get into her long ears, she would not be able to get it out for weeks. And that was another problem she honestly did not want to deal with right now. She already had problems grooming her own tail sometimes, having it coated in sand would not help the issue in the slightest. With a sigh that was rendered inaudible by the cloth, she continued on. There was a set location where she was to meet this "Julius", a fellow member of Black Sails. Only few months back in time, the girl would have never even imagined that she would join an organization like that and work with other people from it. She was a solitary creature that roamed and wandered the land as she pleased without being bound to any rules or higher powers.

And yet, here she was. But to be fair, Black Sails was a fitting pick for her. While she was no actual pirate, the semi lawless nature of it was comforting for her. She was not bound by anything still and could go on doing her thing without having to worry about breaking some sort of rules. Well, there was one thing. Apparently the guild master had a grand old distaste for the magical council, resulting in all members of this guild being forbidden from gaining formal statuses and positions such as Wizard Saint. However, that much was fine. Noheme was long over wanting to become the hero of this world in all honesty. While that was her goal not too long ago, she quickly realized that it was sometimes better to be the silent one who works for good from behind the scenes. She didn't need all that much fame to live a good life on Earthland. And she certainly didn't need it to understand humans themselves.

For that was still her goal in progress. An endless journey at which she wanted to gain knowledge of humanity and it's workings. A task that only a silly goddess such as herself could take. And finally, she saw it in a distance. Half broken down tower which could provide some shelter. It was a grand landmark in these plains, a good meeting point. Though she did not sense another magical signature just yet. So she simply entered and removed all the cloth that was wrapped around her head, allowing herself to breathe freely once more. Looking around, she would observe the intricate design of the walls surrounding her as she waited. It was a shame that she would not be helping a cute girl this time, but not much that could be done about that. Even if he was a male, she still couldn't a chance at new relationship let slip up. After all, connections between living beings were one of the greatest sources of human emotion knowledge. And she was indeed willing to learn still.

The tower provided a small place, a safe haven from the wind and dust of the dessert. In a sense, this place was beautiful and rather lovely compared to everything else. Though the room wasn't exactly large, it at least had no corner and some rubble that you could sit on. And the moon goddess did just that, seating herself on the rather uncomfortable stone that had fallen from the floor of upper levels. Shame those were no longer accessible, as the time and harsh environment pretty much demolished the rest of this place. Still, inside was inside and that was the main thing about this place. With a sight, the girl would run her left hand across her face and then through her hair, making the fluffy green and gold go everywhere for a moment. And just like that, all she had to do was wait. And not even for that long, as she noticed the figure stumbling outside through the winds and sand as well.

Pirate out in the desert, yes, it was quite ironic indeed. In all honesty, Noheme wasn't quite sure what to think of this man just yet. His manner of speech was different from everyone else, as well as his approach to her when she was first introduced to the guild. It was rather... bold to say the least, given the circumstances that were happening there. But in the end, it was rather clear that he bore no ill will and thus should be given a chance just like everyone else. So she waved to him as he approached, simply watching as he started doing his best to remove sand from his apparel. Probably didn't have much of an effect, considering how much more of that material they would be going to see today. Even if he did his best to rid himself of it for now, they would eventually both bathe in it as well. Probably should have put on something similar to what the fox girl had, as the rags covered her entire body and blocked most of the unpleasantness. At least to an extend.

"I believe just about anyone will run into complications when traversing this landscape. And greetings to you too." She still felt that she had to be formal with him as well. Him and the bird both as one would have it. As the man continued to play with his clothes, she got up and started looking around. The place they were looking for should actually be somewhat nearby if the map that she had in one of the pockets did not lie. Though they were told that the exact position wasn't quite known, so there was that. Still, there was another person that the venomous goddess waited for. Another someone who would be joining them. She was late... which was something rather unusual for her. So she just kinda stood against the wall, her arms crossed just below her chest as she waited motionlessly and without uttering a single word. Julius probably had questions and topics he wanted to address, but she would not answer him for several seconds.

And finally, a rather odd sound would echoed through the tower, something that came from the outside. The ground shook and then a wave of sand filled the entrance door, sending another person of feminine figure in. Along with several branches and leaves... "You're... strangely late..." The newly arrived female would try to pick herself up, grabbing the fancy top hat that rolled in with her and the sand, putting it onto her silver hair as she stood up. "Sorry sis! I did not expect using my magic for transportation would cause a tsunami of sand, I honestly didn't!" That would probably explain all the sand that came with her through the door. She now also quickly noticed the boy and his bird, pointing at them in surprised. "Oh, hello! Name's Leila Vergious, a wandering mage and ex-member of Golden Phoenix, pleasure to meet you!" She was energetic and dressed way better than the situation needed. But here she was, Noheme's sister.

One probably couldn't quite tell, given their rather different looks. After all, the newly arrived Eden's spirit didn't even have animal ears or tail. All of their colors were different as well as their choice of clothing. But they were sisters indeed, different for reasons of not being born your usual way. They were both gods, or rather god and an ex-god. Beings born from pure magical energy and formed by it as well. For that, they appeared completely different, which would confuse others always. But alas, that was not something they had the luxury of discussing. Now that Leila was present, her magic could be easily used to locate what they were looking for! But it was probably best they would go through some introductions first, at least that much they should do in every given situation.
