    You can breathe

    In clear blue water

A post appeared on the guild board today, and the mermaid princess was quite curious as to what it was and upon reading it, she wanted to take it on immediately. She felt sorry for the poor guy but understood his actions as well. It was decided, Aerwyna would give him the death that he wanted. After all, being a warrior his age sounded like he actually deserved it. Of course, Aerwyna being new on the land she would have to find people who could guide her to Oshibana.

Leaving black rose, she quickly asked for people that happily gave her directions to Oshibana, Aerwyna got quite confused at the directions but she didn’t exactly mind the directions. They all seemed easy enough to follow after she had the same directions repeated a few times to get there. She wanted to give this man some peace at last and only when she knows where she is going then she properly could.

It didn’t take that long to get to Oshibana luckily, and upon entering where the job board said she should go. She immediately spotted a man that appeared to be kneeled on the floor. He really did look like a warrior. Even if he was an old aged pensioner.

“Excuse me.” She greeted as she entered the area. “I am assuming you are the male that wants an honorable death, am I correct?” Aerwyna asked as she continued to look at him with her blue hues, blinking now and then incase her eyes dried up.

“Yes…” He answered. “I want a death that will take me to valhalla and not hell…”

“Please, let me help you, I will let you die honorably!”

“That is what i’d like to hear… we shall begin, young one.”

The male stood up, holding a shield in one hand and a double edged blade in the other hand. The mermaid princess then felt upset. She wasn’t sure if she was ready to end someone’s life because she had to do this plenty of times before. But this was her way of helping someone also.

Unsheathing her key shaped sword, she breathed heavily. She wasn’t exactly ready for this. But without further ado, she began and that’s when the female then charged at him, which he merely blocked with his shield before forcing her back.

    “Almost…” The man puffed.

Aerwyna grunted and charged at him again, only for him to block the predictable attack once more and forced her back once more, this time, Aerwyna fell onto the floor. Her bottom hurt from being pushed back but at least it wasn’t cut or anything related to cutting.

Getting back up, the man charged at her but Aerwyna simply ducked and moved out the way rather quickly. This was going to be harder than she thought it would be. This was all in the name of giving the man a death that would be deemed honorable however, and so she continued with that, it was part of the job after all.

Continuing the fight for the sake of this man. She finally activated one of her spells. She casted her spell known as the whip of swords which allowed Aerwyna to manipulate water at the tip of her key-shaped sword. Spinning her sword forward twice, two liquified whips came into existence and they aimed themselves at the old aged pensioner, he was hit by one of the whips, but covered the other whip with his shield. Soon the water dissipated and the man seemed to be in pretty bad shape. He didn’t seem to let this bother himself however and he charged at the girl once more. Aerwyna quickly dodged once more and sighed softly.

“You almost had me, young one.”

“Tell me something I do not know.” The female insisted, trying to give the man some encouragement to try hit her again.

The man had a little think about that but he shook his head, giving out that he was not going to answer her demands.

The female then grinned as she made a circle of water with her sword and stabbed the centre of the sword, sending out two rings of water, she was that this was going to complete the task of giving him a death that she was sure would be honorable enough for him.

The man didn’t expect the rings to come at such speed and succumbed to the effects of the rings of water, eventually dying. Thus completing the mission that she decided to take upon herself.

Seeing the man flop to the floor lifeless, she sighed softly. She has officially done her job. She didn’t think she would kill another being because she wasn’t in the water anymore. But it seemed that the latter happened, she killed someone that really wanted to die. Even though she was glad that he could die and not anyone else for that matter. Sighing softly, she looked around and sheathed her sword before she walked towards the lifeless figure that slumped on the floor. Sitting beside him, she looked at his face to see that he was smiling as he died.

“So… I killed you…” The female sighed softly. “You know, I… won’t lie. I killed way more before before I killed you back at my kingdom.” She giggled softly, she knew he was dead. But she felt like she could give him that much more respect if she could talk to him like how she was right now. After all, that was another honourable thing people can do in general. She does this all time to many people she has killed in the wars at her kingdom. “I hope you enjoy your time in valhalla…” The female smiled softly after admitting to one of the sins she has already committed whilst being underwater.

The female finally stood up, making sure she wasn’t going to trip or anything of the sort due to the fact that she got up so quickly that she has experienced a blood rush going through her brain. She had to hold onto something nearby until the blood rush stopped until she could proceed to leave the house. She didn’t know what to do to explain to anyone that will come to the house, but she was sure that the magic council would explain somehow.

Finally leaving the house, she breathed heavily and decided to turn in the job, journeying back to do so.
