Learning Motherhood Earily~ [Private Job, Noa/Chiyo]

Job Information:

Noa and Chiyo had been talking about wanting a child at some point for a long time. Elyx had   he had let them both know that there was a job were they would have to babysit someone's child. Noa's eye lite up with happiness and joy, "Yes! We will take the job." She had quickly grabbed the flyer and began bouncing up an down in her sit. Waiting for her wife to respond to what was told to them both about the job. Noa was very happy about the job and was sure her wife was as well. But she wouldn't make Chiyo go on the job if she didn't want to. Even those she REALLY wanted to go, Noa placed the flyer on the table in front of them both. "So do you want to go and watch the child love?"

"I would love to!" Chiyo exclaimed, blue eyes sparkling. Her delicate face seemed to light up at the thought of watching a child. She had been wanting to adopt a child with Noa for awhile, this would be great experience as to what she could expect from motherhood. Chiyo grabbed Noa and practically dragged her, unfolding her wings and soaring towards the job location with Noa in tow. "This will be a wonderful experience! We can learn what it means to take care of a child!" The blood mage shouted above the roaring wind as they flew. They soon reached the destination, and landed in front of the house before preparing to knock on the door. She knocked on the door and was welcomed inside by the client. She soon was asking questions about his feeding schedule, when she should try and put him to sleep, what she should do with him until bedtime, all the while still holding her wife's hand. After she had gotten all the information she all but pushed the client out the door, telling her to go have fun with her husband. The blood mage sat down after that and looked st the child. He was cute... but he had a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.

Noa had been dragged by Chiyo witch cause her to giggle happily. Then before she had knew it she had been flown by her wife all the way to the house where the child was at. They had both been let inside the house and Chiyo asked at the questions while Noa just sat there with a lovely smiles on her face. While her wife played twenty questions with the client and pushed her out the door, Noa had tried to get the baby boy to come over to her rather then going an picking him up her self. But he wouldn't move at all and then Chiyo returned right next to her on the sofa. "He is a cutie isn't he?" Noa said while looking into her wife's beautiful eyes. As soon as Noa had said that the baby boy had started crawling over to them. Then once at Noa's feet he had tugged on the bottom of her dress. So Noa reached down and picked the little boy up then place him on her lap. "Hello there cutie pie~"

Chiyo tickled the baby's chin, which caused him to gurgle happily. She kept tickling him for a moment, and then took him from Noa onto her own lap. She was smiling until she felt a sharp pain... and then looked down and saw that he was biting her hand. "ow..." muttered Chiyo, putting the bitten finger in her mouth and sucking on it. The young woman kept a firm hold on the baby with her other hand, keeping him from falling out of her lap or crawling away. "Noa, his mother did say he was a bit of a handful... I think she may end up being right." said Chiyo, before looking down. The baby was nowhere in sigh. He had manged to crawl away... "No! We have to find him before he hurts himself!" Chiyo looked around frantically. Where could he have possibly gone? He was only a tiny baby, he couldn't have gone far.

"Not sure about that Chiyo, he could just be teething right now." Noa had said with a soft smile on her face while she had kissed her wife's cheek. Then she had looked back at Chiyo's lap where the baby had been moved from her who by Chiyo. But the baby was missing and her wife began to panic. Noa had quickly got up and grabbed her wife's hand, "remember what the his mother had said earlier about the knife?" Noa had rushed towards the kitchen with Chiyo hand an hand to look for the missing baby boy. As Noa had turned into the kitchen her eyes widen very large as she had seen the baby trying to crawl into the open dishwasher. "Ahhh! The baby!! Dishwasher!!" Noa had yelled in a very panic like voice. Then she had rushed over to where the dishwasher was and scooped the baby up into her arms. "Bad Boy!" Noa has said while she had waged her finger at the baby. Witch had only made him start crying loudly.

Chiyo took the child in her arms and began rocking him, trying to calm him down. He did indeed calm down quickly, but then he bit Chiyo again. She sighed with resignation and didn't do anything but wince. She continued rocking him in her arms though he kept squirming. "I'm going to put him in his crib." She said to her wife, before walking back to where his crib was, in the nursery, and placing him down gently into it. She tickled him gently and then walked into the living room, and sat down on the couch with Noa. A baby monitor had been set up so that they could hear what was going on. At the moment he was giggling, sounding like a perfectly normal and happy baby. Chiyo put her hand to her heart as she looked at Noa. "I nearly had a heart attack when he got away from me and into the kitchen. I was so scared that he had gotten into something worse than the dishwasher."

Noa had giggled a bit when the baby bite her wife again. "He must have good taste." She had said while winking at Chiyo. Shortly after Chiyo had taken the baby boy to his crib while Noa had sat down on the couch and she had made sure the baby monitor was turned on. Then her wife had returned an sat next to her, Noa quickly warped her arms around Chiyo while they had her the happy giggles of the baby. "It seems like hes very happy now, you seem to be better at this then you thought." Noa said hoping to get her wife to smile. Then Chiyo had talked about what if he had gotten into something worst then what he did. "I was extremely worried about that my self as well love. But I will never understand why someone would leave a dishwasher open with a child around." Noa had been very puzzled about it about it all, mainly because the mother know the child has almost gotten him self hurt so why leave something like that. There again it could had just been that the lady forgot, but Noa knew if it was her and she had a baby nothing like that would ever happen.

"Who knows? He's safe, that's all that matters." Just that moment a thump and a cry was heard from the baby monitor. Chiyo jumped up, rushing to the room where they had left the child. He had managed to crawl out of the crib, and had fallen to the floor, crying. Chiyo picked him up and rushed to soothe him, murmuring gentle words. "You're okay. You're just fine. Hush now little one, you'll be okay." She murmured as she rocked him gently from side to side. The young woman tickled the baby until he giggled happily, all the while murmuring to him. She placed him into his cradle, rocking it back and forth while starting to sing a lullaby from her childhood. She smiled and kept rocking him until she had finally seen him calm down and close his eyes. She carefully picked up the sleeping child and placed him in his crib after that, not wanting to wake him. Chiyo smiled once more and left the room, returning to the living room with Noa before snuggling up to her wife on the couch. This actually wasn't all that bad...

Noa had smiled at Chiyo while she had been brushing her hair with her hand. "You so good with children~ You'll be the best mother love." She said while she had kissed her wife's forehead and held her close. Thanks to Chiyo fast reacting to the child it had been a fairly easier job then the child's mother thought it would be for the two of them. There really wasn't anything naughty about her son other then him biting people, the rest of the things that he had done had all been clearly him trying to learn how things worked or what they were. Like every child has ever done when they don't know what things are. "The child's mother should be home soon love." Noa said softly to Chiyo while she had still been brushing her hair with her hand. Shorty after Noa had said that the sound of the front door open and the child's mother had came inside.

Chiyo smiled and gripped her wife's hand tightly. "Where's my son?" Demanded the mother. Chiyo smiled again and looked at the clearly anxious woman and her husband. "He's fine. He's just sleeping in the nursery now." Chiyo looked at the woman and walked forwards. "You said he was naughty. He really wasn't, he was just curious. Although he did bite me a couple times." She said as she walked straight up to the woman. "Oh really? He's normally such a naughty boy." Said the woman. Chiyo merely smiled and pulled Noa off the couch to stand beside her. She accepted payment from the woman after explaining all that had happened while she was gone. Soon after she left with Noa, still gripping her wife's hand. She pulled Noa out the door with a last look, and smiled to herself as she spread her wings and took off. That had been different from what she was expecting, but it was still an amazing feeling. No wonder people had children. Kids were wonderful.
