Good Effort [D-rank Job - Solo]

It was not that the man hated the high-class. It was more that he was not the type whom was capable as living as such, since he felt that it was a completely different way of living. Hero was  far more accustomed to living the way he wanted, without having eyes always on him, though he already had eyes on him due to being a representative of the Rune Knights. The reason this man was troubled by these thoughts was due to having to patrol Rose Garden from time to time, which was a culture shock almost every time he traveled there. Despite that, he rather enjoyed the scenery in the area, which was surrounded by an enchanting forest and the clear grassy areas were littered with all kinds of flowers that had just finished blooming this most recent Spring. The aromas that came with all these different textures was enough to soothe even the most stressed of people, including Hero.


”Excuse me, Knight, sir. Excuse me.”


”Hmm? What is it?”


”Sir, I have a request if you would mind taking a listen. I own a wine brewery and have just completed my original recipe. I need someone who drinks many kinds of alcohol to test it out for me and determine if it has enough of a rating to expand throughout Fiore. Would you be interested in doing me this boon?”


”Technically, we Knights are not allowed to drink while on duty, but I happen to have an extremely high immunity to alcohol. So long as it is only a quick test, I don’t mind assisting you.”


A smile was revealed on the wealthily dressed man, and I followed him to his brewery where the giant was to be tasting the newly-made wine. It took roughly fifteen minutes, but they arrived in good form and ready to get started. Hero had some mixed feelings in regards to tasting some random person’s wine, but it was too late now to be having doubts. The man continued to follow the brewer to their wine cellar which only took a few moments and then the brewer presented a dark brown-colored bottle of a clear wine that Yamamoto had not seen before. It was certainly unique but did it have a good taste that was unique? The brewer poured some into a glass and handed it over. The initial assessment: the aroma was a bit strong but also a bit sweet, which helped to balance it out; the brew itself looked to be completed as there were not any deficiencies in the liquid; upon downing the glass, the initial taste was overpowering to the taste buds, though its sweetness provided relief in the aftertaste as it went down the esophagus. Overall, Hero was going to give it a B+. In order to have been an A+, the brewer was going to need to enhance its sweetness so that the initial taste would not be a complete turn-off. In a straightforward manner, Yamamoto informed the brewer of his opinion and it looked like the brewer took it to heart; he thanked the giant and brought him back to the entrance.


”Thank you, Knight. I will take your criticism to heart. Hopefully the next time we meet, I will have it perfected.”


”I look forward to your perfected brew. Good day.”


As he said so, the giant walked away from the brewery without waving and returned to his patrols in Rose Garden.
