Apollo sighed as he he walked up to the building in the city of era that he was asked to go to. The magic council had asked people to come train their new recruits how to fight and use magic. Apollo sighed a little he was certainly up to the task but he wasn’t a fighter. He thought about how he would train these men but he could at least teach them a thing or two about magic and tactics. He walked up to the desk and the lady smiled at him. “hello there i’m here to train the recruits” he rubbed his neck a little. “ah ok down the hallway into the barracks” she nodded. Apollo nodded walking down the hallway sighing a little. He then walked in looking at them. “um Hello i’m Apollo and I will be teaching you..” he said looking at them all. He could tell they were new since they were all acting exactly as protocol would dictate it was his experience that wasn’t normal behavior for a soldier.
Apollo looked at them with a small sigh “Hello everyone i’m not a fighter so i’m going to leave combat to professionals and while I do consider myself a strategist i won’t be teaching you any one that today I simply want to share some of my experience with you.” They all looked confused to appoint scratching there heads. Apollo sighed “you are all new recruits and as new recruits I want to tell you this, powerful magic isn’t the only way to win a fight and even the best strategies can go wrong in an instant. often times you will have to find your own ways of doing things which is why i have devised the practical lesson for you today, use any means you can to hit me.” he chuckled a little. “How will that teach us anything sir?” one soldier asked. Apollo sighed. “you’ll have to find out throughout the lesson” he then readied himself. then the rest of the recruits got ready Apollo sighed preparing for the worst.
Then the Recruits drew there swords Apollo drew checkmate spinning the cylinder “Promotion to knight!” he called as he then started to dodged their attacks swiftly. “you are all just swinging wildly you won’t be able to hit me like this.” he sighed as they kept going at him with no thoughts other than hitting him. He kept dodging their attacks to the best of his abilities sometimes barely dodging them but while in knight form compared to some of the enemies that he has fought in the past these guys were so slow it was hard to believe. Then one looked at him “t-this isn’t working why can’t we hit him there are seven of us and one of you. Apollo sighed “you lack synergy you can’t do everything alone in this world you have to attack as one.” then they all rushed him again, though this time they were much more coordinated and then one almost hit him. But his natural protection kicked in. “m-magic..” Apollo smirked a little.
“this is the part where you have to think on your feet” he said grinning a little. “Trinity Shield” He said they a dome erupted around them. The recruits looked at Apollo in slight awe “s-shielding magic…” Apollo looked at them “the lesson isn't over come get me…” they looked at each other shrugging then they charged the shield full force as there swords bashed against it they couldn’t scratch the surface, a few of them even tried throwing their magic at the shield but it was to unfocused to do any real damage they all growled at Apollo a little “this is pointless we can’t break through your shield” a few panted. “Apollo shrugged there are things you haven’t tried.” he sighed. “what huh asking you to let us hit you!” on snapped. Apollo just chuckled a little “well have you tried that?” he asked. They all took a minute becoming dumb founded. “can you lower your shield” one asked. “Sure” Apollo shrugged lowering the shield “Lesson over”.
They all looked confused. “What do you mean lesson over we didn’t hit you!” one called out to him. Apollo shrugged without a word. then as he went to speak another one shouted at him. “why make us do all that fighting!” Apollo sheathed checkmate looking at them. I made you fight me to show you wouldn’t win unless you got creative while yes normally the bad guy won’t do what I did you mustn’t be afraid to explore new avenues to win like I said there is more to fighting then powerful magic and being the strongest on it is about being able to adapt to the situation and figure out how to overcome your obstacle that is what I came here to teach you today” They all nodded and saluted then Apollo waved and took his leave. While it wasn’t the best thing to teach it was what he wanted to make sure they knew. He collected his payment and left without much more to say.

Description: Teams get stronger if they work together and shields are no different. Three spinning shields appear before his target protecting them. They look like dark tinted glass and shatter like glass when destroyed. They rotate around they target linking to them ready to protect them. If all three shield are active they can fuse into a dome shield protecting them from AOE attacks. the dome shield mode can not be thrown however you are force to remain staionary. hey look thick in the middle but the are very sharp around the edges . They spin around in circles. They spin at 30 miles an hour. Then Apollo can throw the shields at the given target. The shields spin at such a rate that they slice into anything they are launched at. Each shield does a c rank of armed melee damage. Each shield can block a C Rank worth of damage. The dome can block 3 c ranks worth of damage.
Strengths:
Shields can line up to protect against stronger attacks.
Shields can be thrown at enemies and hurt them
Can turn into a bubble shield to protect against AOE attacks.
Weaknesses:
Needs all three shields to create a dome shield
Discs travel in a straight line can’t control them once launched
Throwing the shields means less defense on user lowering the protection
Shields can hurt allies if they get in the way when thrown
