A light smile as Kiku had stepped past Heero had left. Heero’s words stung for a minute, but that was about it. Kiku had seen alot of murder in his day, and done his fair share of it. What would Heero say if he knew Kiku was part of an entire civilization being destroyed, more so that one that was the main leader in destroying the city. A couple of hundred families? It was nothing compared to the death he truly had on his hands because of the orders of the gods.

Already cuffed, He carried Famine bridal style up to his bar. As he entered many other mages other than his staff left out the other door. Kiku’s stance had relaxed since he was back in his territory. He carried her gently towards the back of his tavern to where there was a single table that sat in what would be a glass room, allowing plenty of sunlight to pass through into the room. This was pretty much Kiku’s healing table. From here he was under the sky, and had access to most of his medical supplies.

He gazed at her as he gently sat her onto cushioned chair that had the back leaned back for her to relax in. He stood up, and held his hand out for a moment. ”May I have the name you actually prefer to go by? In exchange, my name is Kiku Dax. Bartender, and part time healer of Fairy Tail. Before you ask, I’m really not doing this for any particular reason.” He said with smile as his palm went upwards at the perfect level for her to put her hand. ”May I get you hand also? I need to get a full check on your body to start fixing things.”

Famine simply cringed as the other mage slipped his arms beneath her snapped knees, holding her by her back with his other hand. Even when being shifted from one place to another It had hurt Famine to move. Dying, the dark master hardly had a chance to reply or to resist being healed by a foe especially a foe who was affiliated With Fairy Tail.

Famine half expected to see the same old guild interior when he carried her up the narrow hall of steps that took them out of the dim dungeon. She was walked through a tavern like setting, one foreign to her previous... The one Famine knew was the same she'd doused in Flammable oils and blazed. It was once home... Mages, many she hadn't seen in her time at the guild gawked after Kiku anyone really would have if they saw you cradling a stranger, a foes crippled form in your arms.

Another door slipped open and led them into another room. Sapphire eyes twinged, the girl cringing as actual light touched her face through the transparent glass walls. Light filtered through them pure and bright like crystals, bleaching the world around her of details. Her eyes managed to adjust a little more as he laid her down against a reclined seat. Her form winced once more, her shattered bones prickled about inside her even as he handled her with grace.

Kiku's gestures just confused her... why had he elected to take her here? Why was he going to mend her? She had tainted his guilds name, burned their guildhall, backstabbed his guild master all in a time before he come here... Rita might have met him under less immediate circumstances had she stayed but that was not the case. Since escaping to the harsh snowy elevations of Mt. Hakobe she had since lost further ability to trust anyone, an enemy at that. She couldn't help but wonder if he hid something under that delicate smile... A thirst to find revenge on for what her subordinates had made of Fiore, For what Basilisk Fang had brought.

Though her bounded hands clutched closed and even sifted away from his palm to not offer his hand she did speak to answer his inquiry. "Just...Famine." She bit quietly, a rasp in her throat.

He grumbled some as she spoke her simple name. Famine. From what he heard, he name was Rita earlier. ”So Famine? Everyone wears a mask. Even I wear one. Is Famine yours?” Kiku said as he turned away before walking over to a chest that sat clean against the wall, and bent down. His fingers ran over the clasp before his magic flared for just a moment, allowing it to pop open but enough to allow her to feel the dark nature of whatever magic he used. His hands slipped inside of it as he tilted his head. ”Look, I promised the green haired one I’d help you, but thats not the main reason I’m doing it. I saw what Heero did, and I wasn’t able to stop it. While I agree Basilisk Fang might’ve been known for bad things, you don’t have eyes like someone who has killed millions. I saw life in yours. He said as he stood, and turned to look back at her. As he had spoken of what he saw in her, he remembered back to the vast millions he’d killed. His eyes lost their luster for a moment as he gazed into her. In his hands he held a wooden basket with what seemed like rolls of bandages, gauze, padding and sponges.

He sat the basket down on the table to her side, and finally let it register to him that she flinched to the light. He took that in note and snapped his fingers. Two small twisters formed and moved to slide the curtains closed some. ”This Tavern if you don’t recognize it was remodeled after I got here. I felt I required a few things, and the staff are all mine. None of them are Fairy Tail members, or for that fact human.” He would say before moving towards the door, and yelling for someone named Mina to bring him a fresh large bowl of water. He turned back to her before he stepped back to her and held his hand out again. ”I’m not asking for you to swear your loyalty to me or anything Famine, but I need you to take my hand for me to help you. I need to get the issue of physical contact out of the way.” He said as his hand, palm turned upwards sat before her in the narrow beam of natural sun light that was left in the room.[/color] He said with smile as his palm went upwards at the perfect level for her to put her hand. ”May I get you hand also? I need to get a full check on your body to start fixing things.”

The name... It was really more of what her she had become... She'd practically feed her soul, the Rita everyone addressed her as, to a seductive evil and to her new cynical beliefs. "No." The maker mage reiterated quickly. A mask was used to cover something up... Sure, she took on the name to get rid of the one she had been born, so no one at first could tell she was still that person but it had to be more than just a disguise in the sense that there wasn't a Rita left for Famine to cover up.

She didn't keep her eyes on him as he moved to retrieve his things but instead raised her cuffed wrists to her shoulders, too her head to toss her hood back over her cranium, to shield her eyes somewhat from the rays. Though it was then as if he could tell her discomfort he conjured a magic to pull the blinds, curtains leaving small seams of the almost overwhelming light behind. Famine slithered back in the reclined seat what little more she could when he tried to offer his hand again, hers she kept together at his chest fingers clasped in one another like a lock. "I... don't need you to help me." She panted between the taste of her blood on her tongue. "Get these damned cuffs off me and I can take care of it myself." She cringed as the words left on her breath, each time her lungs opened she felt like something buried in like a blade... a rib Heero had twisted likely, another bone he'd broken.

Kiku chuckled as a young female wearing what would seem like a leather set of clothing that covered every part of her body, and came up to her neck came into Kiku’s area. In her hands she was carrying a large bowl of water, as he had requested. He motioned to the table next to the supplies before he pulled a chair over to Famine. He smiled at the girl Mina, which caused her to bow back. As she did, her hair fell out of place, revealing one cat like ear on one side, and a horrible scar on the exact opposite side of her head, where the other eat should have been. With a motion of his hand, she moved closer to him before he took lance from his side, and handed it to the girl. As if she knew what he was planning, she moved from the room, and back to her other duty’s for the day. Kiku had just given away his weapon, as a show of faith for Famine.

Taking the chair that was before her, scooted it closer to the table, while still making sure she was within reach. “You and I both know I can’t take the cuffs off. I can allow you to clean yourself, but that will be after I mend the internal injuries and bones. Alright hatchling? Kiku spoke to her as his head turned off to the side. Two words in the last bit of dialog that he emphasized with his voice seemed to have a commanding tone to it. Once again, Kiku’s hand went out to her, but instead of reaching for her hand, his hand went down and touched her knee cap. Her pants in the last scuffle with Heero had been torn and one of those areas was where he was touching her. With that touch of skin, he pushed the healing factory from his natural body into her, slowly mending at least the internal bleeding. He would have to get a good look over her for the bones. Mending them wrong could lead to future issues. She might be an enemy, but she was still a person.

”You know, you remind me of a female hunter I once met, or well I met through my former teacher. Her and I didn’t see eye to eye. Other than my former teacher, and his family, she didn’t like many males. My attitude back then was less than savory. I lacked what people called a bedside manner. We got into a fight one day, and I ended up winning, but at a cost. I nearly killed her due to my lack of compassion for who I was fighting, sort of what happened with Heero today. Well, I stabilized her with the same ability I’m using on you now, but I spent four hours with her afterwards, arguing with the woman to allow me to finish mending her.” Kiku said with a brief smile at her as he focused in on her face for a moment, and chuckled. ”If Heero heard what I’m about to say, he’d never let me live it down, but the guild mistress of Basilisk Fang is actually kind of beautiful, in an exotic manner that is.” He said as he began to focus on her lungs. ”That girl that was here earlier, Mina. She was one of the girls I rescued from a slaver camp years ago. She has spirit, and they couldn’t break her. She’s from Joya, so you can most likely see what she’s missing. They cut off her tail, and one of her ears. I’ll be honest, what I did when I found out what happened made me look like a Dark mage if it hadn’t been I was acting on behalf of the magic council. Thats the reason I don’t see why people are so hard on trying to catch you. It’s just politics. They say it’s wrong, but you say they’re wrong, right?” Kiku said, his shoulders shrugging. He knew with what he just said, he’d most likely drive her into confusion, but he wanted her to trust him.

Azure eyes dilated as he had reached for the weapon and taken it into his hand. She flinched again as he turned it and opened the eyes she had squinted shut just as the Mina woman had walked out of the room with it. Her adams apple bobbed, having swallowed down her nerves allowed with the blood in her mouth.

Famine's expression broke into something more horrible than a vex of discomfort as his fingers brushed the skin of her leg. Memories of a switchblade cutting into her infected her brain. The pulse of physical, emotional, and psychological turminoul was all reborn in a second. Her fingers had clutched open baring nails like claws, leg tensing as if a moment away to snap up and kick him had it non been shattered on the inside... Though, Famine didn't act or make a noise but instead swallowed the nightmare.

Overoveroverit'sover

The healing properties from his body pulsed into hers like blood, warmth like that of a hot shower prickling the inside of her skin as he worked to stop the bleeding inside her. As Kuku had begun to speak she felt a blur in the pool of her eye she tried to blink the disturbance back but instead the dropllet came rolling out the corner. Welded wrist quickly smacked to her face to rub the leak out of existence before he could notice over his tale.

Maybe he was trying to convince her to stop struggling or to break the Ice, likely both at the same time... She opened her mouth to speak but his words kept coming. He'd registered her features again and smiled the same what he admitted caused the color to drain from her face. The last person to of called her beautiful had been the same to of sharpened the knife into her skin, the one who sucked out her dignity. Her ability to love, her home were erased later. You would think the trauma's in her head would make it more difficult for her to breathe... but it was actually in those moments it became easier as he patched her lungs.

What he said next was enough for her Eyes to raise and lock onto his. "Looking like a Dark Mage and being one are two different things." It was all Famine had to say at first. "Oh how they're wrong." She would agree with him on that bit but refused to go into that any farther. "I need to be caught and slain because the guild and cause I stand for. The people of Basilisk have shed blood and before my time more blood, all that comes back onto my crimes now."

”Masked one, before you say another word while I try helping you, I would like you to mule over something. I’ve been in the earthland longer than Fiore or the Magic council have been in power. I witnessed the dragon wars with the great Black dragon. I remember a time when guilds weren’t held by any laws but their own. Back then, the line of light and dark was blurred. That weapon I just sent back with Mina is a weapon designed to kill. It is not a weapon of Fairy Tail. If I use that weapon on someone, I kill that person. I say this with no remorse. Now though, why did I get rid of it? Because I have no urge to do any bad to you. I believe you’re the type to only try to wrong those who wrong yourself dear.” He said to Famine as he felt her body with his magic, finishing up on the internal issues that he could. It was enough to save her life, and preserve her for the moment till he could get to her bones and the like.

His hand retracted from her while he noted her reaction from when he was touching her. He could feel the resistance she held against his touch, but there seemed to be more. From what he could figure, there was an emotional pain associated with the touch of another person, leaving him to add that to the list of issues with her. He was almost tempted to make a contact with her to be a personal doctor with what he as a vibe from her, though again, Heero would flip more shit. He let out a sigh and reached over to grab a sponge before lightly dabbing it in the warm water then without a care reached up, and wiped it across a spot on her face where blood had piled up. ”I get you don’t like to be touched, but I’m not going to let my patient, no matter who she is, leave my care in this state. The Rune Knights have had a run in with me before prior to me becoming a registered mage. I don’t think they’ll take you from me till I’m done.” He said with a light smile, but with it was a hint of danger. Not for her, but of him as he recolected the one time the Rune Knights tried to take a criminal away from him that he’d found that was injured. He had to end up mending a squad of them after he got done with them. ”Now I’m going to give you a clear choice my dear. Either you let me actually touch to see where the breaks are, or I get my girls to come in here, and give you a sponge bath from head to toe. I hear they like to paint nails after they do the hands first.”

Famine sat in silence as another story came to tumble from his lips. From what it sounded he had been around for literal eras, born somewhere around the very beginning. Though she seemed to have a genuine uninterest for whatever he had to say Famine still listened, It was all she could do. Maybe... out of a bit of curiosity her ground facing eyes scooted up by centimeters to steal another invisible glance at the Fairy Tail mage. Though he spoke like he was born centuries ago he was still fair; skin unscathed by the slightest wrinkle or imperfection.

An azure eye lidded shut as the moistened sponge came to smear the surface of her skin, juicing the tender and bruised surface of her cheek with warmth. Droplets rolled down to sting the beaten landscape as crimson puddled into the sponge and off her skin. Though she had allowed him, her jaw still tensed with the singing sensation and discomfort through the procedure.

"I wouldn't be so certain, Heero ignored a call from Era but they know I'm here. They aren't the type to leave a voicemail and wait over this sort of thing. Bringing me in as soon as possible would only benefit them, the law." she conveyed in a quiet, low tone. What was she going to b at the end of this a symbol no one could defy Fiore's current state of rule, that the dark guilds were still nothing. She'd be put down within a month with what the world claimed her name was responsible. She only clutched the hands she kept from Kiku further.

Famine's shoulders only seemed to hunch tensely as the snakes inked into her flesh actually squeezed on her arms with his words. fixated down still,her irises seemed hollow like the beginning of his next collection of words sucked the life from her. The choice of name struck into her like an arrow. Again she fought to be reminded of an earlier time

"Your body is really beautiful my dear..."

The one who called her beautiful, who claimed her his dearest like property just took her and treated her like nothing but a play thing, the cats caged mouse... The blade tore into the hems of her clothes before it did her skin. Famine could only hear the name as the torturer addressing the victim

"I gave you a name, I suggest you use it." Words snapped off her tongue like snake venom. Now, her eyes had drawn up to face him, The hues of the sea were fiery rather than broken this time. "You'll be patching more than just my broken bones if anyone tries to give me a bath." She finalized, only unraveling her tightly clenched palms to quiet him....

Kiku laughed some at her words to him. He could tell by her reaction that she didn’t believe him about his age, so with a light snicker he points to his head. A halo, it’s colors twisted and contorted to where the halo was black with an outline of red around it. Instead of bringing out his wings, but it was too cramped really. He looked at her with a gentle smile. ”Good! It seems my talking your ear off got you to at least offer your hand. Good girl.” Kiku said as he lightly chuckled. He reached out to her and lightly took her hand. He cupped it to allow his thumb to press softly against the palm of her hand. Like earlier, a pulse would travel from his body into hers. This time it focused on her bones. They would begin to reset themselves, and heal. In the end it would feel like someone was reversing time on her body to a point that she event never occurred.

In the meantime a group of Rune Knights had arrived outside of Kiku’s bar. The leader, Roku, one that Kiku had nearly killed before during some training hesitantly reached for the door to open it before ordering the others to stay outside. Having seen how the Angel could fight before hand, he wasn’t going to risk getting caught up within arms distance. The moment Roku stepped into the bar, he felt his blood chill as he noticed the stares of several former joya slaves eyeing him. Their looks made him feel like they would kill him in an instant if he tried to harm Kiku, though one thing made him freeze. Sitting on the bar was Kiku’s lance. The weapon was impossible to ignore as he had to dig the blade from his shoulder once because he thought he was hot shit. Why was Kiku’s lance there, while he was with a guild master of a dark guild of all things? The man stepped to where he could see Famine, and Kiku. The sight before him nearly caused him to facepalm. He had known Kiku long enough to know he doesn’t touch people on their skin normally. “Kiku, it’s Roku Matsubi. I’ve been called to be the one to transport the Dark Mage Famine from your custody to Era so she can stand trial.” Roku said as he brought his hands to cross over his chest before he moved close to Kiku till he was able to place his hand on the man’s shoulder and lean down. ”Considering you’ve chosen this one to be the one that you have decided to touch after her death Kiku, I’ll make sure I get her to Era without a harm as long as you promise not to do anything stupid.” THe man said, in which Kiku responded with a nod.

Kiku turned Famine’s hand over just so that he could check something before leaning down to press his lips lightly to the back of her hand before he flicked his eyes back up. ”Famine, this is somewhat of a friend of mine. Despite being a Runeknight, he sees the world similar to me. He’ll make sure you get there without being roughed up. I promise this. We will see each other again.” Kiku said as he stood up, and Roku took Famine by her cuffs. As Roku started to lead her to the door, Mina from earlier ran up to Famine, gave her a necklace that was in the shape of a snake coiled around a gem. ”Kiku…there is something about you Ma’am. Like he said, none of us are fairies. If there is anything you need from Kiku that isn’t illegal, just grip that and think of him. Like your angel that he called himself, he will be there.” Mina said before slipped it around her neck. Roku allowed it before taking her towards the door again.

Famine fixed that glare of hers downwards even at the sight of the deathly halo. His hand was cold around hers. She felt like she should of expected it from the immortal., she wondered for a moment if he even had a pulse or the eternal living thing had something to due with Kiku being undead. Though her perspective changed when she felt it herself. The pattering of his long living heart equalizing with her own. Something about it quite literally refreshed her body, like she'd been taken back to a point before her bones were fractured, skin bruised and bleeding.

Before she could so much as inquire The Rune Knights had arrived for her. One, likely the leader of the pack stepping in. A brow rose as she couldn't help but clearly over hear, curiosity striking into her. What did they mean? her death. Famine pondered who he had lost that had been so important for a mention.

"I doubt your word, Kiku. Fiore doesn't like mass criminals after all." she asserted herself flatly,cringing as she ripped her kissed had from his grasp. Only to leave Famine held at her cuffs by the knight, led through the door again....

"Sure...whatever you say."
