Passport Rush: Part 1

Morning dawned yet again, the empathetic faces of Rose Garden's citizens "shining" brighter than ever. An event was to take place to this day, one embedding itself into the lives of many for days to come. Yes, Passport Day was upon us. Among the many who'd gathered was none other than our eccentric protagonist, Mellow Valentine. Let's take a look and see what he's up to.

"Another day, another dollar." He sighed, hands in pockets as stood impatient as ever. "Can we not get this line moving?! Come on, how long does it take for one measly passport"?! To many Mellow would appear impatient, that's because he was. You see, Mellow had his sights on joining a guild soon, but to do that, he'd need a passport; it was for that reason that his foot tapped ever-so-aggressively.

Passport Rush: Part 2

"Hey you, yeah you"

Mellow looked from over his shoulder to notice a bear-headed man standing behind him. Despite his appearance, Mellow responded anyway. "What up?" The man leaned closer "I'm thinking on a way to get these passports a lot quicker, you down or what?" Mellow couldn't help but grin as he nodded in agreement "What'cha got for me"? Now Mellow knew better than to trust shady people, but men with bears for heads? He would always trust them..always.

"Well, you've got to see it like this." The man carefully leaned his body to the right, Mellow doing the same as he pointed to the small desk located at the front. At said small desk had been a little old lady, seemingly bland, nothing interesting about her..that was until. "Can't you see it in her eyes? Look very closely." Mellow gasped as the woman caught his glance, whispering the words "Fight for the gold" then returning to her job-- Mellow then knew what had to be done. "I see..so that's what you want then" The man nodded "Aye.." as they bumped their fists against one another, the plan had been formed. "We're going to make a break for it".
