Kuro could only nod in response to his promise of getting her back to her room safely. Would the innkeeper even let her back in? If not then she could grab her things and flee the town, and the demon slayer. She gulped once more realizing just what sort of danger she was in. She had to escape as soon as possible, her heart was pounding against her chest, she half-wondered if the demon slayer could feel or hear its beating. Realizing that they were heading back towards the crowd as there was no other choice, Kuro buried her face into the man's back, in a small attempt to hide. She couldn't bear to look at the faces of the very people who wished to see her burning. Yet perhaps it wasn't wise to do so as that same scent clung to the clothes on his back. It was mouth-watering to say the least but she had practiced self-control, she wouldn't break-


The demon purred within her mind, licking her rosy lips. The temptress made Kuro gulp, and her stomach growl. It was all sweet whispers and little caresses when it came to Kiro, it was a welcome change compared to Shiro's violent tactics, but at times it seemed like it was harder to hold back the temptress within her head. As she attempted to resist the succubus Kuro could hear bits and pieces of what was going on, the slayer was talking to the townsfolk. He wasn't turning her in was he? However, they started moving once more, towards the hotel allowing Kuro to relax ever so slightly as she pushed away the demon in her head. The walk was a bit of a blur to despite the slow pace, most of it was spent shuddering as the demon tried every trick it new to get Kuro to succumb but it was strange. It easily could have snatched control from her but it seemed to....toying with her? Kuro shuddered once more, physically feeling the demon's fingertips dance down her spine. The worst part about sharing a single body was that everything the persona's within her head the girl could physically feel, not to mention even marks could be left if the persona's so much as wished it.

"We're here?" Her voice was hoarse, the demon in her head falling silent but her hunger not so much. "Second floor....Last room on the left...."Worry laced her voice, because now there was no longer villagers, it was just her and the slayer. Even Kiro fell silent in her head, not out of fear but it seemed like she was biding her time not that Kuro really noticed. Shaking now not from Kiro's antics but from fear, Kuro debated giving him her name. "Kuro...Kuro Kanso." She muttered quietly, a mere whisper that could easily be carried off with a slight breeze. It was best to just give him what he wanted so as not to anger him, perhaps if she was lucky he'd let her leave without hurting her.
