- Description:
- Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic, a magic which allows Krow to transform the physiology of his Fire Dragon Body into that of a Shadow Dragon. Most who use this brand of Dragon Slaying Magic use it to turn their bodies into a shadow that cannot be touched by normal means. They are also able to fade their entire body into nearby shadows to move swiftly, dodging efficiently and making surprise attacks. However, if they are caught while in a tangible form, or by another person in shadow form, they are then left vulnerable to attacks.
However, Krow uses his Shadow Dragon Slaying Magic in an exclusive manner that cannot be copied by others who use this magic. While most use this magic in an external capacity, he uses it in an internal capacity, with the exception of his Shadow Dragon's Roar. This internal method revolving around running the shadow's in varying dosages through his blood stream, effecting his red blood cells in such a way that it makes the produced shadows a part of his body, hardening his limbs. This also gives the appearance of his limbs stretching and or being bulked up, though this is actually the limbs shadow being stretched/bulked up, thus stretching/bulking up the chosen limb by consequence as if they were made of a malleable substance (e.g. rubber). This method having an effect upon the chosen body part melanin, turning the effected limbs flesh a shined black. While this forces him to sacrifice the usual key benefits of this brand of Dragon Slaying Magic, which most would think makes him inferior to other Shadow Dragon Slayer's, this grants him its own advantages of strengthening his limbs and boost the body parts offensive and defensive qualities.
Krow, much like with his Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, possesses the ability to consume shadows to replenish his ethernano reserves. Thanks to already being a Fire Dragon Slayer, by successfully ingesting Shadow Dragon Magic, can use it to passively enter Shadow Flame Dragon Mode.
- Strengths:
- - Shadow Internalization a.k.a. Bloody Shadow: Krow unlike other's who have attained Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic, has chosen to use it internally, forcing the shadows through his blood stream as to effect his red blood cells. This makes it so he does not need to alter his fighting style.
- Shadow Resistance: Krow cannot be affected by shadow magic.
- Ethernano Regeneration: Krow can replenish his reserve of ethernano by eating shadows.
- Weaknesses:
- - Shadow God/Shadow Demon: The shadows produced by Krow can be eaten with ease by God/Demon Slayer's of said element, however if he tries to eat the shadows they produce he will be damaged heavily.
- Self-Production Clause: Krow cannot eat the shadows he produces using this brand of Dragon Slaying Magic.
- Light Magic: Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic is naturally weak against Light Magic, as light wards off and eliminated Darkness and Shadow Magic.
- Stealth Sacrifice: Krow, due to his use of Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic being internal, not external, sacrifices the stealth granted to others who use Shadow Dragon Magic.
- Cause & Effect: Due to Shadow Internalization's effects upon his body, spells that depend upon it (everything but my Roar), carry an additional cost of his health points. While it is only the amount of health as the amount of mana the spell will cost, this is still disadvantageous. (e.g.: If a D-rank spell usually costs 10/5 mana, they will also cost 5/2.5 health.) Though, the health is subtracted after the spell has run its course.
- Double Damn: Krow due to being a first generation Dragon Slayer, upon gaining this secondary dragon slayer element now suffers from even more severe Motion Sickness than the average Dragon Slayer.
- Abilities:
- Shadow Internalization: This is Krow's personalized manner of using Shadow Dragon Slaying Magic. While most use utilize this brand of Dragon Slaying Magic use it within an external capacity, he instead uses it within an internal capacity (with the exception of his Roar). This is done by forcing the produced shadows into his own blood stream in incredibly large dosages, to the point where shadows billow forth from his pores. The shadows that are flowing through his blood stream, effecting his red blood cells in such a way that he can utilize Shadow Dragon Slaying Magic in an internal manner, thus giving the appearance of his limbs stretching or being bulked up, as though they are made of a malleable substance. Though, this is actually the limbs shadow stretching or being bulked up, which in turn stretches or bulks up the actual limb by consequence. This also effect the corresponding areas melanin, turning said areas flesh a shined black hue.
- Shadow Flame Dragon Mode: Krow due to being a Dragon Slayer who possesses not one, but rather two different Dragon Slaying Elements, is able to passively enter a mode known as, Shadow Flame Dragon Mode. This mode can be said to be similar to Dragon Force, though, it is not as powerful and puts a large amount of physical and mental strain on him. While using Shadow Flame Dragon Mode all of his Fire Dragon Spells will become Shadow Flame Dragon Spells, with said spells doing 125% damage rather than their base ranks worth of damage. (e.g. A C-rank spell will do 1.25 C-rank's worth of damage and be both shadow and fire.) Additionally, if Krow manages to enter Dragon Force and then enters Shadow Flame Dragon Mode... instead of doing the normal 150% damage of the standard Dragon Force, his spells would dish out 175% damage.
