Deniel was more than ready for an attack. Although the kind was unexpected, he did know that something was coming, so it wouldn't be too hard to block it. Something he had never seen before; a person turning himself into a spear. It wasn't too hard to block, all Deniel did was hold his giant blade in front of him. However, that didn't stop the force of it. Deniel still felt a bit of the impact course through his arms, and slide back against the ground a bit. Seeing this form of attack gave him an idea of something that he should try later on. The Devil couldn't help but laugh with Zack's remark. Not from mocking, but because he felt a bit flattered. He turned around to see his mentor ten feet behind him, even though just a second ago he was right in front of him. "I'll admit, I have never been challenged so much with this sword. It's all been so easy. But this...this is really putting my skills to the test." Deniel noticed so far Zack was mostly parrying his moves, as was Deniel. And this gave him yet another idea; it was something he just loved doing. Improvising new ways to gain the advantage or use his own blades was just so thrilling to him. Deniel was going to unveil another trick up his sleeve. However, he wasn't going to be the one to attack.

He held up his left clawed hand and gave it a few motions towards himself. "Come on! I wanna' see something from you that isn't a human spear. Let's test my reflexes." With that, Deniel gave himself an awkward stance, but on purpose. He bent his knees and leaned his body to the right a little bit, with his sword still in his right hand, he held it above his shoulders and crossed it over his body towards his waist. Still, there was, quite literally, a devilish grin on his face. He was making it obvious for Zack he had something up his sleeve, but only because he wanted to see if Zack was going to test it by walking in to it or not.

The young mage wanted to test the skills of his mentor it seemed. Zack grinned and once more lifted the eye patch this time causing a green long sword to emerge from. "You've handled one blade pretty well let's see how you handle two." WIth that he lunged forward once more. However, rather than going in a direct pattern he began to move in a stange zig zag. His speed was at such a level that it caused illusionary shapes of him to briefly appear making it hard to track exactly where he was. Zack was the sky demon slayer, but he was better known by another name: The demon of speed. It was time to show his pupil why this was so. When he got in close he swung with one blade horizantally and the other vertically going for a an almost perfect cross slash. However, that was not all. He did not stop at one blow and began to hammer at his target with a rapid series of strikes. There was a glint in his eye. He was trying to overwhelm Decayuss' defense with pure speed. Yet each blow was also using his full strength. This might seem nearly impossible, but what made it seem even more so was the relaxed feeling emanating from Zack. He was acting in a highly aggressive fashion seemingly trying to destroy his target with raw speed and power and yet...he seemed calm. In fact it was almost as if he wasn't really thinking at all. This was Zack's true fighting style: Blade of Instinct.

It was not something that could be learned in a day or a year. No, it was something that could never truly be mastered. Even Zack who was one of the few he knew that used such a style was nowhere near master level. Why? Because in order to master this fighting style one would have to fight every single enemy possibly in every single possible situation and survive. Doing so once wouldn't be enough either. It would require such situations to be done dozens of times. Only then could the body know how to react by instinct. Those who used this technique seemed almost beast-like and stupid in combat, but every move was done using the best of the swordsman's knowledge. Perhaps that was why Zack's memory was so terrible. After all, his mind was filled with the battles he had fought. Hundreds of them against foes of all sizes. Zack's style was one he had gained from fighting against numerous opponents over his life and he always took on the stronger opponent if he could.

    "Show me what you've got."

Oh shit... Deniel said to himself in his mind when the second blade came out of Zack's..."eye". He didn't expect this, and it changed everything. Quick Switch! Nidhogg yelled into Deniel's mind, and he did just that. His sword became enveloped in blackness, and decreased in its size. It went form the gargantuine sword Armageddon back to its original form as a black katana. The reason why Deniel did this was because of its scabbard. He drew the sword with his right hand, and kept the scabbard in his left. Now the playing field was virtually even...bit still unablanced. Using both the scabbard and his sword, Deniel blocked the cross-shaped slash just in time. It wasn't the end of it just quite yet. Deniel now had to focus every last bit of his concentration to parry every attack that went his way. He could only get hit three times, and he needed to try his best and make sure that he didn't get hit at all. Were it not for his enhanced reflexes and speed, Deniel would have gotten hit a long time ago. Despite his buffs, he was still getting outdone. He was panicking, and started to lose his form. Zack came very close to hitting him several times, and the pain was coursing through Deniel's arms.

Deniel was tempted to not only use his magic, but give up all forms of blocking and just go for an attack with Zack. However, the chances of that succeeding were low, and using his magic would just be cheating himself. It didn't seem like he had any other choice than the first option, so he would just have to go for it. After all, Zack's job was to make sure he didn't get hit, so threatening him would definitely get him to back off. Deniel waited for the opportune moment, and just when it seemed like he was going to give out, between Zack's blow's, Deniel thrusted Nidhogg forward. Either he would hit and win, or Zack would dodge it.

Zack saw the blow coming barely. It would be difficult to block. Near impossible in truth. He wouldn't be able to move fast enough in his current state to do so. That was why he instinctively kicked in another spell. This one would reduce the effect of air resistance on his body hugely and thus allowed him a much swifter movement. As such he was able to bring one of his blade's back to knock the sword to the side. Even then it was close and if he had been even half a second slower the blow would of still classed as a hit. However, instead it missed his ear just narrowly. That fraction opening this created was all Zack needed to touch Deniel in the chest with the tip of his blade. If zack had been mean he could of ended it there with one of his techniques, but he wasn't. "My point." he said and leapt back seemingly further than anyone even with his enhancements should of been able to, but he'd merely used a bit of his passive flight ability to increase the length of the jump. "That was close, and very well executed." Zack said with a nod. "You waited for an opening in my attacks and took it. That was good. However, you sacrificed your own safety entirely for victory and thus I got in a strike, which could of been fatal in a real fight." He paused briefly considering this, thus leaving him potentially open for another attack. "Still, it is unlikely a mage would be able to suddenly boost themselves like that and even with that boost you almost got me. So...good job. You are getting better and better. Also changing your sword at that moment was good. You saw my attack would be hard to block or counter with the large blade so swapped to a dual sword style using sheath and sword. Very good"

If it had been Zack, and he had a form changing sword, he would of tried to leave it to the very last second so as to throw his opponent off. A cross slash was also blockable with a single blade and if he'd been quick Deniel could of done so and then struck Zack and won the fight. He wondered if Deniel would see this. "Now then you've handled two blades quite well even with my enhanced abilities. Let's see how you deal with this." The eyepatch was lifted again and from it emerged a third sword. This one was silver in colour and floated in front of him controlled by telekinesis. "It is rare you will face three swords at once, but it is possible. Particularly in a battle with multiple participants." The sword floated off to the side and moved as if it was blocking an invisible person. "Lets see how you do. Come at me."

Deniel smirked and scratched behind the back of his head. Yet another compliment towards him from his mentor. He had never faced a swordsman like Zack, one that was skilled enough to make Deniel take such a risky move. It was quite flattering to hear a compliment from him, but he didn't let it get to his head too much. After all, his attempt was nice, but it still didn't really accomplish him anything. And if he had to go through that again, he didn't know what he could do. He tried to think of possible ways to counter two swords, until the fight took yet another dramatic turn. Deniel widened his pure red eyes as he witnessed a third sword come out of Zack's eye. Two was plenty, but three? And one that was fully controlled rather than in his mouth? Deniel didn't know what to do. Using Nidhogg and its scabbard was his best bet to deal with two, but there was no form of his own that had three swords. There was a katana, a bow, and then a broadsword. Deniel! Deniel snapped himself out of his trance of fear with the help of his sword, Nidhogg. Deniel stared down at the black blade. Don't focus on making the number even. The point is to make the skill even. Think: What can you do and how can you hold off three swords?

Deniel looked down at Nidhogg, and then nodded to himself. He stared back at Zack, and his wings on his back began to rattle much more fiercely. He sheathed the black blade in its Scabbard, and then held it in front of him by the hilt. The red energy from before coated the blade, and it grew significantly in size. It was back to the form he started it out with: the abomination for a weapon: Armageddon. However, Deniel wasn't after the large sword. He was after something else. He held the large blade to the sky, with both of his hands on the hilt. And instead of the tip pointing to the sky, it was on its side and his hands were. Then the blade started to move from its spot that it was seemingly perched up on the hilt. And as it moved up, it grew narrower, but longer. Eventually the blade made a ninety degree turn, leaving much more room for the hilt. Deniel moved his right hand on the hilt, and swung his new weapon. For his sword, Armageddon, had now turned intself into a scythe without the use of magic.

The blade of the scythe itself was now long enough to where it could almost cover up Deniel's height along, along with the hilt. However, due to their perpendicular shape, neither of them did. Although the scythe was large, Deniel took his left hand off of it and held it up in the air with his right with little to no effort. "Alright. I'll come at you!" Deniel took off to Zack, and was already at him in no time. He held the scythe with both of his hands, and made it look like he was going to take a swing. And in fact, he started to. However, instead of ending the swing at Zack, he turned the scythe on its side, and stabbed it in the ground again. And with both of his hands still on its hilt, Deniel swung under the hilt and used his feet for an attack. The challenge was to hit Zack with his sword, but using other forms of attack might weaken him, or leave him open somehow. And he hadn't forgotten the third sword. In case of any counter attack, Deniel could easily just let himself go and swing the other way. Instead of an offensive tool, he used his sword--now Scytle--to give himself an acrobatic advantage.

A truly strange weapon his opponent/student was wielding. It had first transformed to a giant sword, then to a katana, then back to the giant sword and now it was a scythe. A scythe which he used to strike into the ground and swing himself at Zack using it almost as a pole vault. Zack did not go to dodge and instead raised his arms to block the blow. This might seem like he was taking it easy when he could easily dodge such an attack. However, in truth he was fighting exactly how he normally would. He had to assess his opponent's strength. The blow hit hard and sent him sliding back, but it wasn't enough to really damage zack through his Sky Emperor's mantle. Something which unfortunately was not going to last much longer. He'd have to use some other spells in order to keep his edge. He'd have one even without his buffs, but even so he wanted to really test this guy.

As soon as he had been kicked back he ran forward at high speed with all three swords at the ready. The two in his hands went to strike him head on whilst the third spun round to strike him from behind. "You need to keep on the offensive. Offense and defense are the same thing in a sword fight." he said as he struck. "If you can keep your opponent on the defensive and prevent them from attacking then you are defending yourself. The best defense is a good offense." That was how Zack fought. He didn't block often unless assessing an opponent. He struck first, struck hard and most importantly struck fast. "Using momentum though...is often key."

Got him! ...Sort of. Deniel let go of his scythe's hilt so he would be ready to counter or dodge whatever came at him. Zack was making quite a risky and seemingly standard move with coming at him from the front with both swords, but there was more to it than that. Deniel didn't see the third sword. And if he knew his opponenents, it would come at him from behind. Whether it was or wasn't, he wasn't taking the risk. As soon as he did, Deniel made a small jump to the left in order to dodge Zack's attack. He mostly accomplished this; when he jumped, he dodged the sword from behind and Zack's sword he held on his left, but the sword he had on his right had just barely managed to make a cut on Deniel's arm. That was one cut out of three. Deniel could afford one more, but it was in his best interest not to. Aside from being cut, Deniel was in a great position. By dodging the sword from behind, Zack would either have to concentrate on stopping his own sword from hitting him, or stopping it completely. And since the hilt of Deniel's height was fairly long, he was still able to grab it. Without hesitating a moment, Deniel grabbed Armageddon's scythe and did exactly as Zack pretty much advised him to do.

Using both momentum and a relentless offense, Deniel swung his scythe with tremendous strength from his right to his left. And just like he did with the sword form, he kept the swing going by spinning himself, and then coming around for yet another blow. Even after that one, he still wasn't done. The second swing was done in an upward motion, so Deniel spun himself yet again after slashing up, and then brought the scythe crashing back down. When it went down, he continued his momentum in this single unision swing with one last movement: another spin, and another attack from above. Once that attack was executed, Deniel tried to keep Zack on his toes by spinning his scythe so it would attack him non-stop. Deniel held the scythe in one hand while he spun it, and then switched hands. Deniel made himself even more agressive by using his right hand when he was spinning his scythe with his left. When he switched, he thrust his right arm forward straight at Zack's chest. It woudn't seem so deadly, but because Deniel has incredible strength AND his fingers had sharp claws on the end, it would be quite the powerful blow.

It seemed the man that he was training had taken Zack's words to heart. He was attacking brutally using his scythe to launch an almost relentless series of attacks. In truth it wasn't anything Zack couldn't stop with the right spell, but this was not a battle of magic this was a battle of swords. The dodging of the sword to make it attack Zack was a stroke of genius or it would of been if Zack hadn't just dropped one of his swords, flipped the oncoming one around and grabbed it by the hilt. With the three swords either controlled manually or telekinetically he was more than capable of withstanding the blows, but it was slowly pushing him back. It seemed this man's takeover was quite powerful and without his mantle he wasn't strong enough to prevent himself being pushed back. Unfortuntely, using the mantle was out of the question at the moment. On top of that his heavenly grace wouldn't last much longer thus dropping his speed. He exhaled and was immediately surrounded by two auras. One green and one red. Together they boosted his strength and speed, but not as much as his mantle. Still, the buff gained from them was enough for him to launch a counter attack.

Using telekinesis he manipulated two of his swords to temporarily block the oncoming scythe and claw hand before leaping back a good 30 or 40ft. He then flew at his pupil like a human drill spinning rapidly with the remaining sword at the point. As he got in closer he manipulated the other two swords to his side and had them follow his rotation. As such he was now a much wider drill and even if the point was dodged narrowly the side blades would slice. With Zack's high speed this was very hard to dodge. Not impossible of course. After this attack was executed zack's heavenly grace would fade.

Deniel saw that he was driving back Zack; he was taking the advantage and the lead on the fight. I can do this! Just a few more swings! Not only that, but Deniel made him drop one of his swords. He may have been able to control them without the use of his hands, but the fact that he was able to do such a thing made it clear to Deniel he was making Zack struggle, even if it was the slightest bit. And if he was struggling, then Deniel might finish his final trial soon. Deniel thought that his next group of attacks would do the trick, but then Zack took a good leap away from him. Instead of chasing after him like an idiot, Deniel jumped back as well so he could see what his mentor would do next. He clenched his clawed hand in response to his own frustration, though. After all, he had almost just won; how could he not be frustrated? Deniel pulled his scythe back a tiny bit so that it would turn back into its sword form. The blade thickened and shortened, turned ninety degrees, and pulled itself back on to the hilt where it originally was. And he was glad that he did. Just then Zack came at him in a similar way that he did before. Instead of just throwing himself at Deniel though, this time he spun himself like a drill. Deniel didn't have time to dodge, so instead, he held up his large blade in front of him to block Zack's attack. The force of it started to push him back, but Deniel's blade was barely able to withstand the force being exerted on it.

Deniel had to put all of his strength into making sure that he didn't move his sword, and that he dind't move at all. The second part failed, but didn't go so terrible. Deniel's black boots skidded across the ground, causing the dirt to pile up on the soles of his shoes. Deniel could hold out for quite a while, and there was no way that something like this could last forever. However, it was Nidhogg who couldn't last much longer on this. Armageddon was a very durable sword, but the amount of punishment it was taking was almost unbearable. The dragon grit its teeth as he felt the pain of him in one of his forms being pierced, but he had to hold out for the sake of Deniel's training, as well as his own. Deniel then heard a crack. A crack in his sword. His eyes suddenly widened, and he started to push back against Zack's force. He didn't seek to do to much, he only pushed him back enough to where Deniel could jump out of the way and make sure he didn't get struck. Deniel stared down at his sword, "Nidhogg! Are you alright!?"

Just as Deniel asked his question, his sword suddenly grew even more cracked, and about half of it shattered like glass. This was the first time something like this had ever happened, and Deniel didn't know what to say. He thought he lost his friend again...but this time, forever. "Hold it! I'm fine, Deniel. Just one of my forms was broken. Don't worry. Simply switch to another." Deniel sighed in relief. He couldn't bear to lose Nidhogg a second time. Without hesitating another moment, Deniel swung his broken sword, and Nidhogg was once again enveloped in blackness. Deniel didn't just have two forms for his sword; there was a third, but in the match he was having with Zack, he didn't have much use for it. The blade shrunk its size, and once again became the black katana in the scabbard. "Alright! New approach! Get ready, Zack!" Deniel drew the sword from its scabbard, but instead of using the scabbard, he placed it at his waist. His black scales enveloped part of the scabbard so it would hold it in place. Deniel held the fair-sized black katana with both hands, and closed his eyes. A small wind blew up from beneath Deniel up to his face, making his spiked hair go in a wavy motion. And then, in one instant, his entire body flashed and became covered in red energy that made motions just like fire. It was of a blood-red color, and gave a mysterious glow to the energy around him. And despite being covered in so much of it, Deniel's red eyes were still visible through it.

As his final step, Deniel rattled his wings even harder, and although they were insect-like and fairly small compared to the rest of his body, they were still able to lift him up. Deniel didn't necessarily go very high, but enough to where his legs weren't touching the ground. By doing this, he was about to gain an unebelievable advantage. Not only was he faster, but also much trickier. "You're going down!" Deniel clenched his fists harder around Nidhogg's hilt, and then literally flew to Zack. Upon his arrival, Deniel looked like he was going to perform a typical diagonal slash from the shoulder, but before he performed it, he used his wings to fly right beside Zack and send a stabbing motion. And if that wasn't enough, hew flew above Zack and swung his sword down. His next string of attacks were all either feints or tricky maneouvers, as he was using his wings to his advantage. He rarely attacked from the front, never did his feet touch the ground, and never did he stop attacking. He was once again taking Zack's advice, and never letting up.

OOC: The whole thing that just happened is his Devil Trigger. It just gives him 30% increase in everything. I haven't been keeping track of his Trigger Energy, which is irresponsible for me, but I know it's well over 100. And right now it's at zero. I'll start keeping track of it, though.

It seemed that his words had been taken to heart because even after Zack had shattered one sword form the man simply reformed it into another and began attacking again. However, his attacks were even swifter and more powerful due to some new power he had activated. Interesting. Zack's eyepatch let him know it was least a 30% boost in power. Very interesting. Yet if he was using abilities, even if it was a buff, then Zack felt it was only fair that he began to use some of his abilities. He would use purely his sword related ones, but it was more than enough. Still, he would hold off on his strongest ones for now. No, he wouldn't use any of them yet. He used swift motion with all three of his swords to defend against the sword attacks. However, it wasn't enough and one was coming towards him.

The battle could of ended there. Zack could of let that happen, but that wasn't his style. He wanted to prolong this battle and see exactly what else this man could throw out. He would have to show this man why an S rank was something that was worth being. In that brief second he let out a burst of aura and used a low rank spell firing a concussive blast of air from his mouth. That, combined with the slowing effect of his powerful aura, was enough to give him the briefest moment to block the strike and leap out of his range. "So you want to play in the air?" Zack said with a grin. "Ok then. I'm game." With that he flew diagonally backwards and upwards at max speed for a few 100ft. It was easy for him. He was quite impressed with Deniel. He almost won there. If only he'd been up against someone at his level of magic power

"Damn it! Slippery bastard blocked it." Deniel lowered his sword and watched Zack fly up into the skies. Deniel was going to follow him, but he wanted to catch his breath soon. All of those swift moments along with flying had taken a bit of a toll on his physical energy. He could keep going, but breathing was important. He panted and thought about what his next move would be. So far he came so close to ending this, and both times they were blocked. He knew that he could probably do this, but he didn't know how long it was until he ran out of tricks, or maybe even his energy. He stared down at his black katana. He knew that his sword already knew how to do this, since it seemed to be a master and a genius at battle strategy. Somtimes he helped Deniel, but Deniel knew this time he wouldn't. Besides, Deniel didn't want the help, although it was tempting, since he wanted to defeat his opponent all on his own. And if anyone could do it, Deniel could. With that boost of confidence and his energy beginning to return, Deniel nodded to himself and put his feet on the ground with his wings still rattling, and pushed himself up. Deniel shot off like a rocket straight towards Zack with Nidhogg in both of his hands and at his swide, ready to swing. As Deniel was about to make contact with Zack, he swung his blade, so both the force of his flying and the energy he was putting into his blade was being used.

Deniel had a feeling that Zack wasn't going to be defeated that easily, and he hadn't counted on it. After he made the blow, Deniel raised his sword and swung down again. And whether it hit or it didn't, he once again didn't really care too much. Deniel flew away from Zack just in case of a counter attack. At this point, all Deniel was trying to do was catch Zack off guard, and hit him at least once. But at the same time, Deniel made these short attacks and backed off as soon as they made contact with either Zack's blade, or hopefully his skin, was to prevent himself from getting hit back, since he could only afford two more times.

It was rare that anyone could match Zack in the air and this was not a time. Deniel came close perhaps, but he was still no match for the Sky King. Well, that's what some had called him. In truth it wasn't a title he wanted. But...its what people called him. Speed Demon, Sky King, Blademaster, Disaster Zone. So many titles. Zack decided to kick his physical fighting up a notch. Not through any spells or anything. Not yet. He would save that for when his opponent got close to hitting him again. No. Instead he exhaled and then his movements just seemed to get faster. He only had a little bit of his buffs left so this was his chance to gain the upper hand.

As he blocked Deniel's final attack he parried it out of the way and began to launch his own flurry. This time, as he was in the air, he began to move about rapidly as he struck hitting from multiple angles. It was similar to what Deniel had done, but at a faster level. Whilst Deniel was strong and fast, and more so in his takeover, he wasn't quite up to speed with Zack. Even if they had been equal ranks of magic power it likely would of gone in Zack's favour in terms of raw speed simply because he dedicated his life to being the fastest he could be. He'd joined Blue Pegasus for that reason. "So far we've made it just a sword fight." Zack said. "Are you satisfied with that? Or should we show what a magical swordsman can really do?"

Zack was, without a doubt, faster than Deniel in the air. Deniel used the air to his advantage, now Zack was putting him at a disadvantage with it. After he flew away from Zack, just like he predicted, Zack began to strike at him. What wasn't predictable, however, was the fact that Zack had Deniel on the very edge of his reflexes just like before. Deniel still managed to block his attacks, but not without barely being able to move his sword to block the next. In fact, the last attack Zack pulled off on Deniel, was one that hit. Deniel was hit two times now, and he could only afford to be hit one last time. And to make sure that last hit wouldn't be anytime soon, he flew away from Zack as fast as he could, and stopped at a certain point. Zack then proposed that the two of them should use magic correlated to their swords. That's when Deniel lowered his weapon and stared down at the ground. There was a look of disappointment on his face. "If I may speak on his behalf, Zack..." it had been a while since it spoke aloud, but Deniel's black katana began to speak to the outside world again. Every syllable, the blade glowed, and then went back to its normal color. "I sought out this part of the training to not only make Deniel more skilled with me, but also for him to learn how to handle magic with his sword. Well...maybe handle is the wrong word. I think learning it in general is in order."

Deniel looked down at his sword and lifted it up a bit as it continued. "Nidhogg..." "I ask of you to put this section of the training on a halt for a bit. Show Deniel how to use magic with his sword, and then resume this...'hit me once before I hit you three times thing.'" Deniel nodded at his sword and then lowered it again. If Zack wanted Deniel to use magic with Nidhogg...he would have to show him. He knew it was possible, but he never attempted it. "Teach me how. But briefly, then I'll see if I can do it or not."

"Seems fair enough Nidhogg." Zack said with a grin and lifted his eyepatch. The third sword flew into the green orb-like eye beneath leaving him with the black and grey. "Sword magic shouldn't be too tricky for you. You're already used to channeling magic through something that is not part of you, even if you make it part of you in order to use it." Zack began meaning Deniel's takeover. "Sword magic isn't too dissimilar to that, but don't think of it as a holder magic. Heck, if I wanted to I could probably channel the sword magic spells I know through a stick that only looks vaguely like a sword." He took a breath and paused allowing Deniel and Nidhogg a chance to process this a little.

"A lot of sword mage's out there will channel magic through a blade to produce an effect like a flame slash or a lightning bolt. I have a couple like that, but most of mine focus on another aspect." he said with a grin. "I prefer to channel my magic in order to make the sword attacks themselves better, generally focusing on speed, but occasionally on power or elemental properties." He focused and the black sword was suddenly engulfed in powerful S rank class flames and the green sword in an icy aura of A rank coldness. He then channelled a bit more and suddenly in an instant he struck the ground seven times with each blade. The speed was near impossible to follow, but briefly afterwards the ground was blasted by two C rank heptagram shaped blasts. "The reason being is that I'm mostly an up close fighter so flashy things like flame slashes don't do much for me, but a flaming sword combined with a rapid strike attack...is devastating. What's more, is that the rapid strike purely enhances speed of my attacks and thus uses little magic power despite being very powerful." He did not extinguish the blades. He stood there waiting and watching to see what his pupil would say or do in response to what he had just been told and shown.

After his request, Nidhogg had practically stopped listening to Zack. The reason for this was because he knew pretty much everything he was going to say. It was only logical a sword would know how to have its weilder use magic, but Nidhogg never bothered explaining it to Deniel. Since Zack was his mentor, it was up to him to train Deniel. Deniel, on the other hand, listened very carefully and pretty much marked and carved every word in his brain. The ability to use magic with Nidhogg....he never dreamed of such a thing. Deniel was understood by the hint of him using his Take Over, and he was hoping he was right and that it wouldn't be too difficult to channel his magic through Nidhogg. Deniel reviewed what Zack went over in his head at the small pause, and then listened intently as he continued once again. A flame slash or a lightning bolt did sound typical, and in fact, it was what Deniel had in mind when he thought of using Nidhogg as magic. Not exactly those types of things, but perhaps something similar. Deniel took a few steps back as he saw Zack's presentation of something that he could do with his own swords. Something like that, again, was what he had in mind. However, Zack's explanation of enhancing his actual sword's attacks...it gave him a small idea. And that same idea connected into something that he saw Zack do earlier.

Zack's explanation and demonstration was over, and now he was waiting to see what Deniel would do. Nidhogg...his Armaged--" before Deniel could finish his question, Nidhogg answered. He knew exactly what Deniel was going to do. It is, Deniel. Deniel looked down at his black katana and smirked. And then he stared back up at Zack. His katana, once again, glowed with red energy, and morphed into a larger figure. It was the giant broadsword Armageddon once again, fit to Deniel's Black Devil Take Over. Deniel turned his back from Zack and walked out a few steps. While he was walking, he talked to Zack without even looking at him. "The training resumes here....but it matters not. I'm confident this next attack will finish it. ANd...you might want to bring out that third sword if need be." Deniel continued to walk away from Zack, until he was about one hundred feet away. Despite saying the training continued, Deniel was sure Zack would be more curious to see what Deniel would do rather than just end the training with one last hit.

Once Deniel was far enough from Zack, he turned around to him. He held his sword Armageddon with one hand to the sky, and stayed silent. Deniel was absolutely still for several moments, building up the tension for Zack about what he was going to do. And then, on the very tip of Armageddon, Deniel created Unholy Energy. It flowed like water and fire alike, and began to cover all of Armageddon. The sword wasn't even visible in a few moments. The motion of the Unholy Energy was all flowing backwards, from the tip down to Deniel's arms. And once Armageddon was covered, Deniel grabbed it with both hands and hold it out in front of his chest. The Unholy Energy started to not only covered Armageddon, but also started to flow to Deniel. At this point, Deniel took three running steps to Zack, and then gave a jump. Behind him, perched his feet on a platform he creathed from his magic, and kicked himself off of it. Deniel used Zack's lecture about momentum to give himself a short burst, and that burst would then be sped up by Deniel's wings in his flight. And as he flew, Deniel began to spin himself in a circular motion, with Armageddon straight out in front of him. Deniel's body, and his sword, were in a horizontal position. And as he spun, the Unholy Energy covered all of Deniel's body, forming a near-impenitrable barrier. The strength of the Unholy Energy, and the rate in which it was spinning along with Deniel provided very sufficient protection. But the point of this was not to protect himself, but to attack Zack with one final attack. Deniel made himself into a human drill, similar to how Zack launched himself at Deniel earlier like a human spear. Deniel was spinning faster than he could even tell; he didn't know how many revolutions he was doing in just a single second, but he could tell it was a huge amount.

The force of his flight, his strength, his Unholy Energy, and of course....his sword with his magic were all being shot at Zack right now.

It seemed the hint that it would be similar to takeover had been enough for Deniel in order to unlock the power of sword magic. Intriguingly he had coated it in unholy energy. It looked quite powerful, but he couldn't yet judge how strong it would become when mastered. He was also impressed that the Armageddon form had finished repairing so quickly. Suddenly though Deniel was in the air kicking off for momentum and then using his wings to accelerate.

Zack grinned as he saw Deniel flying towards him like a drill. It was a technique Zack himself favoured using the full momentum of the movement combined with the rotation to launch a powerful attack. Zack normally did it in a downwards motion though, from the sky, thus giving him massive momentum due to gravity. It was risky, but it normally did the trick. His pupil wanted him to go all out so whilst he was walking Zack had got out his third sword and coated it an aura of lightning. Fire ice and lightning. Three swords of three gods of the wind. . This would be the last attack for both of them and both were going all out.

He backflipped and then seemingly kicked off the air launching himself at Deniel with three swords in front of him forming the point of his own drill. His rotation speed was as fast as he could get it without any buffs as was his movement speed. The two would collide and then...it was up to fate and luck to see what happened in the end. "You versus me Deniel."

Deniel could feel Zack striking him with the same attack after only a few moments of launching himself. Since Deniel couldn't necessarily see anything, with his eyes closed and spinning so fast anyway, he didn't know which one of them was winning or losing. From an outside perspective, it looked like the two of them were tied, but Zack had a slight advantage. Deniel was being driven back very slowly, which showed Zack was still stronger than him. Deniel couldn't see this, but Nidhogg could. That's when Deniel could hear over the sounds of drills and magic, what Zack said. It was the two of them versus each other. Both Deniel and Nidhogg had the same idea.

    "Wrong!"
    "Wrong!"

They both spoke at the same time, yelling over the other sounds.

    "It's US versus YOU!"
    "It's US versus YOU!"

After that, Nidhogg gave a mighty roar and aided Deniel in the assult. With the both of them combining their strength for the first time, Deniel gained the upper hand and pierced through Zack's defense. However, instead of trying to drill right through him, all Deniel did was scave and cut the left side of his body. After Deniel cut him and passed him up, the magic surrounding him stopped, and so did his spinning. Due to the laws of motion, Deniel kept on flying until he took his sword and stabbed it into the ground, halting him to a stop after sliding. Deniel dug his blade out of the ground, and sheathed it on his back. He stayed silent for several moments, before raising his hands up to the sky and giving a battle cry of victory. "WE DID IT, NIDHOGG! WE DID IT!"

"It was an inevitable loss when it is two against one and both of you are so powerful." Zack said with a shrug. "Especially when I can't go all out as some of my spells can't be used yet." He tilted his head and nodded. "Plus it would look bad if I went all out against someone i'm teaching." he added with a wink. The training was officially over. Zack's drill had been overpowered by the combined force of Deniel and Nidhogg. They had advanced remarkbly well and were now far stronger than before they had begun. Zack was very impressed and rather pleased. He dispelled his swords and all magic he had activated and returned the swords to his eyes. "Well then...it looks like your training is over with me, but as you probably know by now a true swordsman training is never over. Every battle teaches you your strengths and weaknesses all over again. Every day is a new challenge." That was Zack's philosophy on fights. He might not remember the details, but his body remembered the lessons. That was why he was so strong and so fast. He relied on what his body had learned over years of training.

"Oh and never forget...you can be as strong as the gods themselves but there might always be one stronger than you in some way." he said as an afterthought. "Or they might beat you just to pure dumb luck. The weakest man can beat the strongest if luck is on their side so don't get cocky" He had nothing more to say on the matter so turned away He grinned and winked at Deniel. "Good luck in the future and if you need practise just ask. I'm sure i'll remember you." He indicated the torn jacket and the cut down his back, which was already beginning to heal. "You left quite an impression. See ya." With that he dropped into a sprint start and dashed off before leaping into the air and flying away. THe training was over. Deniel now had Nidhogg to fight with properly and some powerful sword magic on top of that. He'd also impressed Zack and managed to land a blow on him that would most likely scar. Very impressive.

Deniel closed his eyes and let his Take Over on his body become no more. The black scales all turned red, and seemed to leave Deniel's body in a red glow. This red energy formed a very small ball, and then went inside of Deniel where his heart was. Deniel's spiked hair fell down to cover his forehead and the back of his neck. His sword was now clenched in his palm, turned back to its original form; a plain black katana with an insane amount of potential. He turned to Zack, and listened to the final lecture. Deniel had no comments or objections. Based on this experience, Zack was right. Deniel thought he had mastered Nidhogg, but after this training, he learned that he never will, and that he can always get better. Deniel watched Zack fly off, leaving Deniel alone. "Good-bye...Zack."Well, not entirely alone, he had Nidhogg. Deniel looked down at his katana and smirked. "That was quite an adventure for me...and I think I'm proud of what I did." Nidhogg laughed in response, joy to Deniel's ears. It had been a long time since Deniel heard that laughter. "What will you do now, Deniel?" Deniel lowered Nidhogg and started to walk in a different direction than Zack went; back to Eclipse Soul. "First I'm going to train myself further with you. Then I'm getting to S rank. And then....I'll find out who I truly am."

Nidhogg didn't say anything, but it was a perfect plan, and in order, to. Nidhogg knew who Deniel was, and the steps in which he placed things was the order he wanted. Deniel was on the right track, and Nidhogg was glad he could watch over him. Thanks to Zack, Deniel ahd his best friend and guardian back. Deniel could have started to fly just like Zack, but he preferred to walk. It was a long one, but it was worth the wait. Just like his training. While he walked, Deniel held the hand that had Nidhogg in its grasp up to the sky. "Training complete!"
