    Cafe de Mocha (Invite Only)

Post by Jojo Kaguya on 28th July 2014, 10:07 pm

Jojo’s eyes gleamed around this land, her face soft as she wandered into the simple and boundless land that became the capital of Fiore. Indeed, her eyes looking along this place was quite different from what she was used to, being normal in a forest or the lava regions as she still had yet to focus anywhere at all. It was a norm anyways that kept her in a single place. Her lips curved upwards into a smooth smile and soon she went towards a subtle zone, a place to which she could probably wake up more due to the early morning and the cold chilled air that breezed about with such forms. The bronze-skinned girl utilized the morning for more than noticeable training, the usefulness of such was normal but her fingers merely popped in such happenings, her mouth in need of something to keep the smell of blood from seeping out of it.

Thereby, she went into a café, a place where the strong scents of coffee could wash away any scent of smell that could prove dangerous to one’s nose or the latter. Dressed in a turtleneck of light tan, the neckpiece completely brought upwards and warming the neck to keep her sense of self in a more proper content with what she had available. Such were the capabilities and capacities she held, her eyes gazing and the rest of her dress being normal, the boots she ordinarily worn were leather, strained and difficult to upkeep while the leggings were that of cotton, stitched in a pattern very akin to that of a peasant’s gown. It was the norm held there in while most normal matters held strong for her own sense of ease. Eyes scanning and watching, readied and stationed for defense if need be.

However, such defenses were lower in this café, her slim and short brown haired self-going to the counter and smiling as she asked, “Can I get myself a caramel mocha?” It was a simple question, and in a café as this, once her lips could touch something like that she could be eased off from the necessities of her mouth’s wonder. Indeed, she was conscious about the way it smelled and looked and yet the best thing for it was something that could tear it apart, which held irony of titan level. Once the coffee was finished, she took a seat at a lone table with a couple more chairs to it, began to sip at her mocha while looking out the window. Her guild’s tattoo hidden underneath the turtleneck and thankfully she had not created much of a name for herself yet so she was not a face that stood out there too far yet.

    ***a few minutes earlier***

Adrien walked along the mostly empty, cobblestone paved, morning streets of Fiore's capital Crocus with a small black fruit bat with golden eyes sat perched on his shoulder, shivered as a cold early morning breeze cut through the causing a chill to run down everyone's spines from the briefly chilled air. "Remind me Adrien." the bat on his shoulder spoke in an extremely deep voice which one could call demonic to the point people around him were a little shocked, but Adrien wasn't sure if it was because of the fact that the bat had talked or because it had such a deep voice and to be frank he didn't care "Why did we half to wake up this early in the morning?" Adrien sighed shaking his head as if he was talking to a child "Because Drac I want time to finish the book of the scriptures and legends of demons from Seven, I still don't believe your answer and this book of the first volume of twelve and are in high demand so the sooner I finish it before the book store opens."
"Okay then but I don't understand why we didn't finish it back at the hotel room."
"......I want a cup of coffee......"
"Now that is a crap reason knowing you Adrien, you could have just ordered coffee by getting room service."
"....I wanted to be outside when there were barely any people about......also the hotel's coffee tastes like dirty dish water...."
The duo soon found a quiet, traditional café, after Drac had picked up a very strong of coffee that could make one go nose blind after a few seconds proving that it could be dangerous to one’s nose or the linger around. Adrien walked into the café finding to his pleasing that it was mainly empty apart from the owner and a small group of teenage girls who he guessed were a little younger then him though Adrien looked like he was in his twenties and was dressed in a black tuxedo with a blood crimson red dress shirt, black neck tie and white dress shoes/sneaker hybrids. After looking around the room he walked up to the owner behind the bar "....Cappuccino...please...." he said placing his order after getting a strange look from the owner, after he was given his drink he sat down at a lone table and began to read his book in peace as Drac went back to sleep on his shoulder. A few minutes later a girl dressed in a turtleneck of light tan with the neckpiece completely brought upwards, boots which were worn and made of leather, white leggings were that were stitched in a pattern very akin to that of a peasant’s gown. He didn't pay much attention to her but over heard her order “Can I get myself a caramel mocha?” and paid no more attention to her until she had sat down at his table and began to sip at her mocha while looking out the window not noticing he was even sitting there. Adrien looked up from his book to look at the girl having his natural cold hearted, blank and emotionless expression he normally had "....can I help you?...."

Jojo had continued to move through with her drink, before a voice surprised her. Her mind had amply been out of touch with what was around her before she looked over at the individual, surprised she saw someone at the table she had presently thought was empty from anyone in the café. Her eyes widening at first before settling down, taking another sip from her mocha before setting it down and looking calmly with a subtle and kind look. “Oh my apologies, I was not aware anyone else was sitting here. I had thought the table was vacant.” Her eyes watching the boy, curious eyes about her looking at him before picking up the mocha and sipping again. Allowing for the creamy potency of the caramel to run through her lips, coming down through her teeth and into her throat where it was hot and burning before slowly falling down into the pit of her belly.

“Many apologies… Do you wish to be alone?” Her dull eyes serene and yet a smile slowly forming upon her lips while she was for the most part completely in a tad of awe of the person. Looking along how they were dressed, appeared, and ultimately what they looked like molded together into her mind. It allowed her to gather a sense of thought to herself while still in a gracious manner of thought for the individual. It was a useful manner but she had to be respectable, even though her nose caught the smell of blood somewhere, eyes looking she saw it, a person’s lips were cut by the breakage of a glass. It was significant to the manner that her eyes narrowed in but she fought the urged and turned back to look at the individual she crudely interrupted with her sitting in front of.

When the girl heard Adrien's voice her eyes widening at first before settling down, taking another sip from her mocha before setting it down and looking calmly with a subtle and kind look. “Oh my apologies, I was not aware anyone else was sitting here. I had thought the table was vacant.” she said as she watched him curiously, before picking up the mocha and sipping again. “Many apologies… Do you wish to be alone?” she asked as her dull eyes serene and yet a smile slowly forming upon her lips. Adrien sighed and turned a page of the book he was reading "....If all you are looking for is a place to sit.....then I don't mind if you stay." Drac woke up from a loud rumble from his stomach before he looked at Adrien "Adrien..." Adrien pulled out a folded note from his blazer's chest pocket and gave it to Drac who turned into a black cloud of smoke which reformed into a Capuchin Monkey with completely black fur and golden eyes that was twice the size of a normal Capuchin Monkey. After Drac grabbed the note from Adrien, without looking up from his book he addressed "You can go buy yourself a fruit salad and could you get me a bar of dark chocolate." Drac nodded before leaping off Adrien's shoulder, ran over and leaped onto the counter top giving the owner a bit of a fright. Still without looking up Adrien reached for his cappuccino but ended up knocking into it causing the cup to wobble and spill some of its contents onto his hand, he jolted it back quickly and sighed realising that the bandages that wrapped around his had and forearm was stained. He then pulled out a new roll of bandages from his pocket, marked the page of his book, rolled up his sleeves and unwrapped the now stained bandages to reval all over his arm and forearm was covered in scars.
