Job Description: Inside a monastery in the peace village lies a holy artifact. The artifact is known for it's remarkable to make people feel at ease and bring out the good in every person. You're job is to corrupt the holy artifact, so that the aura of the artifact becomes dark and will corrupt the people.
Enemies
Weak: Worshipper-No abilities nor weapons (1 D-Rank attack to defeat)
Medium: Monks-Are C-Rank mages with holy light spells. (2 C-Rank attacks to defeat)
Strong: Warrior Priests-Are B-Rank mages with holy light spells and physical attacks. (1 B-Rank spells to defeat)
Boss: Head Priestess Zora-B-Ranked mage with dangerous holy spells. (Takes 2 B-Rank attacks to defeat)

She walked along a mountain road, in the serene violet light of dusk. Far below, swathed in mist, was the shadow of a small village. It was strange how all the birds fell silent as the mist came climbing up the hill. Perhaps that's what makes the mist so melancholy; not only does it conceal the hills, it blankets them in silence too. Only an hour ago; as the girl named Erza was making her way up, the trees were ringing with all kinds of voices from the wild inhabitants. And now the forest on the hill was deathly still, as though it were already midnight.
"Amusing...." a word which escaped her lips in an almost inaudible whisper; clearly directed to her own self. Her azure eyes scanned the sleeping village below, making her recall all the rumors she had heard along the way.
"The villagers believe that their town is haunted. There is also an ancient temple at the top of the village, which they believe is where the spirits come from. To add to it, the inhabitants are all too scared to go there and never leave the village because they fear that something might happen to them."
'Indeed, that's rather disturbing.'
But they had a saviour; some kind of a Holy Relic, an artifact which helped people feel at ease and brought out the good in every person. And her job was to simply corrupt it in one way or the other, so that the aura of the artifact became dark and it could corrupt the people instead.
Even though her mind went completely blank every time she thought about trying to 'corrupt' the relic, she had the assurance that at least her partner would know.
Constantine Rebellion, her supposed comrade today and also team mate cum leader of Reikokuna Dokuso; The team comprising herself, Constantine, as well as his brother Kira; the three Poison Slayers of Savage Skull. The only ones in Fiore.
As a team, they were expected to do missions together and this was to be their first ever, but due to some reason Kira had to drop out, thus leaving the girl alone with the Harbinger of Pestilence. Somewhere in the back of her mind, thoughts of disappointing the guy; who already had risen to the peak of his power lingered and she tried her best to ignore them.
A soft breeze blew, brushing her face ever-so-slightly, that had it not been for the cold silence enveloping the place, its presence would remain unnoticed. The brume seemed to grow thicker with every passing second and made her feel slightly disquietued due to the cold, thus an absurd longing to get out of it as soon as possible.
Somewhere in the surroundings an owl hooted and the pink-haired girl decided on moving further, making her way down to the village.

The sound of wings reverberated as the owl took flight somewhere high above; casting a faint shadow beneath.

 The young female to the left of Constantine was not only silent, she was standing around awkwardly peering upon the village. Constantine looked at her for a moment, and felt a rush of heat flood into his body, causing his pupils to dilate for a moment. He was unsure of what actually was going on in her brain, but like a stallion bore of intensity he spoke words with such swagger it would trample her mental fortitude. "I am still not over the fact that you've grown into a woman. I know it had been a few years but for the love of god. Look at yourself. You're no longer plain and icky. You're...well damn!" He stated, not wanting to flirt with the woman he felt more like a father too, but it was hard for him to communicate this, as he was the chaotic sort of man. Doing whatever, whenever. Without missing a beat he turned on his heel, fully, and leaped forward. Making his way into the village below with a massive bound. He would wait for her where it mattered. He had bounded so far into the air, that he made his landing at the monastery. He wore a unique outfit on this day after-all. A black jean cut vest that had the words 'Kitty Beater' on the back. Neon-blue knee high boots that had white laces, baggy black pants that had the bottoms sealed into the boots themselves, and a bandanna that was black over his forehead that kept his hair backwards. He did wear shades on this day as well, which had skulls imprinted upon the lens, which luckily did not intrude upon his ability to see. The male stood with his soft and slender hands tucked neatly into his pockets, no obstructions to cause him discomfort. He took this time to analyze the situation. Cautiously. He knew for a fact that he'd eventually understand what exactly is going on here, but he knew one thing for sure. The Holy relic was the perfect object for defiling, due to the fact that they were both adept with the powers of poisoning. He waited for the girl to approach and then spoke to her. "I think I know exactly what we need to do now, interested? Hmm? Well too bad, you'll learn when we get there. It's an adventure after-all and there are no shortcuts." [>2<] |

After listening to what her partner had to say, Erza raised an eyebrow while tilting her head a bit; so that she could get a clearer view of the man's face. In fact, she wanted to see his eyes; to clear away her doubts about what he actually meant but to her disappointment, they were well hidden with the shades he wore.
"Well...." she started to reply, but instead saw him spurt into the air, landing right in front of the monastery. She gaped behind the guy for a second or two, then let out a small sigh as she ambled up to him. She was in time to hear him speak once again, "I think I know exactly what we need to do now, interested? Hmm? Well too bad, you'll learn when we get there. It's an adventure after-all and there are no shortcuts."
A nod and a single word spoken with a small smile, "Correct."
Azure eyes scanned the oak door in front, a slightly perked up interest on the runes carved on them but was dissolved on the realization that she could not read them. The pinkette took a step forward, thus closing the distance between the door and herself and pushed on it.

The sound of the door opening, magnified to the listeners due to the deathly silence in the surroundings.
Pitch black darkness. Nothing else to be seen.
But only in the case of normal people, wasn't it?
A rather lucky gift to have in such cases, the gift of being a Slayer. Better eyesight, something possessed by both of them.
Someone stirred ahead; being well aware of the newly arrived presence at the door. To that person they would look nothing more than two silhouttes against the faint light of the setting sun, but to her, it was clear as daylight.
It was a middle-aged man with a rather tired and weary face, maybe because of the several hours of watch he had done for the monastery. A boring job in her sight but, 'Whatever, who cares?'
"Who are you?" his voice resounded inside the unfurnished hall, tinted with mild fear. Of course.
"That's irrelevant." she spoke with a monotonous voice.
"Get out, the monastery is closed down." Now it possessed some kind of assurance, maybe because they didn't seem to be a threat.
A small smirk graced her lips, as she walked inside, her steps slow and deliberate.
"Mhm, I know. But we're not here to worship or anything....."
A small pause, a break for the information to sink in.
".... Just searching for the Holy Relic. It is kept here isn't it?"
"Yes, but...."
Her voice broke in, "No but-s please. Just let us know where it is."
"I can't."
"Then you SHOULD." the girl stated, but in the next second, almost as a blur reached behind him; gripping on his shoulder with such force that it made him stagger. The man had no options, he was, unfortunately, unarmed.
Someone with keen eyes could notice the change in her free hand now, for her nails seemed to grow a few inches longer, sharper at the tips, more like.... claws.
Slowly, Erza placed one of them on the base of his neck, applying pressure as it bore inside with every second, blood oozing out in an alarming rate.
The man did nothing else but gasp for air, he was helpless.
"You still won't speak, right?"
"N-No." he stammered while intaking his last lungfuls of air.
"Tch." The pinkette could now see his skin turning a shade of purple, right from the place her finger was dug in; the poison spreading slowly yet surely; confirming his rather untimely death. One that could have been averted easily.
His movements stopped and she let her grip on his shoulder loosened; before she removed it completely and he fell to the ground with a low thud.
She raised her eyes to her partner while shrugging and then spoke with a small, playful, one-sided grin on her face, "Think we'll need to ask someone else."
OOC: The guy was not an enemy, just something for increasing word-count as well as story. So no Monster Dice rolled.
