To say Kyra was nervous on the limousine ride to her hometown would be an understatement. This was the first time she was seeing her family since Tegan seemed to just sell her off to Errings Rising once more. Now she was returning with her two primary captors and the Queen of Errings Rising, and aside from the sundress, Medeia had insisted she wear a two piece swimsuit, embarrassing her even more. She sighed as the limo pulled up at the outskirts of the beaches of Reinford. As soon as they had reached the foot of the mountain, there was a limo waiting for them with Rio's seal on it. Why was Rio involved with this? She was not sure as to what all was going on, just that the Queen approached her and asked to be brought to the beach event Reinford was holding. It was not Kyra's place to question the queen, so she was just sitting in the car.

As soon as the limo's door opened, a few men in fancy suits made sure things were settled for all four people in the car to be escorted out. Only a few moments after the last person left the car, a familiar voice called out.

"Ah, wonderful!" Rio called out, a smile firmly on his face. He looked more casual than usual, though he still "wore" a suit at present. "You must be Miss Amber Stone," he said with a firm nod towards the blonde. "I've heard that you were the one that tracked Kyra back down here. Well, if I knew that Kyra was leaving people that cared about her behind, then I would have just sent a missive right to you all!" He chuckled a bit to himself, giving a light bow before turning to address Medeia. "Ah! And Lady Medeia! You've been Kyra's primary caretaker, haven't you? You certainly look quite ready for relaxation. And I've heard that in your visits to our fair city you and Tegan have hit it off well. I'll never know what to do with my dear little sister." He gave another bow, this time to Medeia, before turning to Saraphina for a moment, but stopping as he caught himself. "Wait! I've met you once before! Back at the Urban Nights! Ah, that was certainly a fun festival. Shame I did not have time out of my schedule to truly enjoy it, and I made sure to have time to enjoy this. All of our siblings are ready and are sure to be out and about somewhere." He gave a bright smile, apologizing to the two more acquainted caretakers of Kyra before turning once more to Saraphina. "Apologies, I did not mean to delay your introductions, after all, you are the star attraction!" He gave a deep bow, taking her hand gently. "I meant no offense to delay, Her Majesty, Queen Saraphina Rose Zima, Queen of Errings Rising, Sovereign Queen of Hostia and Protector of our fair city of Reinford. I hope I did not offend." He kissed the hand, getting up from him bow and walking over to hug Kyra. "And, of course, my dear sister. Valkyria, it feels like it has been ages. It's good to see you in good health. I assume they're feeding you well and accommodating to your... urges well?"

Kyra smiled a bit and hesitantly reciprocated the hug. "Y-yeah. They have. They've been treating me fine as always. J-just like you guys always have. It...it honestly feels like a family. Even if I don't really know anyone outside of these three..."

Rio smiled, disengaging the hug. "Ah, I see. Well, it's a start, isn't it? It's three more friends than you felt you had before, right?" Kyra nodded as Rio ruffled her hair. "I haven't properly introduced myself, have I? My name is Mercurios Velkhomme, but most people just call me Rio. Our Father has had a tendency to... overcomplicate names. I'm the eldest of my dear, ravenous sister's siblings. Heir to the family, President of Mercurial Communications and Velkhomme Energies. But, I suppose the business talk should be held for later. I'll escort all of you to our lovely beach first. The festivities have not quite begun, but they should be starting soon. Demi never misses even a second past her scheduled times. After the festivities are done, you are all invited to stay here as long as possible. Kyra has residency in our family home, but you other three have the penthouse suites of Serenity Towers, recently rated within the top five hotels in all of Fiore. Everything is complimentary, of course. Such a thing is only befitting of my sister's caretakers and a queen such as Her Majesty. If I may implore, Queen Saraphina, and I do hope I am not being disrespectful of you with referring to you with just your first name, I would ask that before you return to Hostia or the castle halls of Errings Rising that you please take the tour of all that our family offers for your wonderful care of Kyra. With you directly in negotiations, we can certainly work out a more beneficial deal. However, that's for the future. Right now, just enjoy the beach. Come, follow me."

Rio walked off, beckoning the quartet to follow. Kyra was always so jealous of Rio. How effortlessly he did everything. Kyra thought she saw enraptured by his speech. He did not miss a single word, everything seemed planned. Kyra even suspected that his "slip up" with the delayed introduction to Saraphina was a calculated move. Rio was always so charming, so good with his words, so good at everything. Kyra did not understand it at all. People ignored Kyra, yet Rio grabbed everyone's attention and kept it wrapped around his finger. Maybe she could be confident like that eventually? That did not matter. For now, Kyra just needed to follow Rio towards their beach.

The angel did not care for cars usually and much preferred using her wings to travel but on this occasion, she had allowed herself to be convinced to go along with Rio’s little plan for now. Truthfully, she did not trust him much at all and not just because of her usual dislike for men in general. He had one of those grating personalities and seemed to love the sound of his own voice, much to the dark haired woman’s annoyance. She would be civil with him today and try to fight off the urge to throw him into the ocean head first. The group were there as his guests after all and besides that, there was always the chance that she might happen across the lovely Tegan, who the mage got on incredibly well with. They had shared each other's company a few times now and every encounter seemed to be more memorable than the last. It had been Tegan who Medeia had spoken with in order to retrieve Kyra from her family and the deal that they had made was one that you certainly would not find in any usual bargaining manual. Still, it had suited both of them just fine and the slayer could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

She was actually in a fairly good mood, not only because of Kyra’s return but also because of her burgeoning relationship with Amber, as well as her encounter with the lovely Suzhen, who had stuck her nose in the angels’s business on Crescent Island. Things seemed to be going her way and perhaps that was why she had been so willing to accompany Kyra, as well as Amber and most surprisingly, the Queen of the guild on this little beach trip. Medeia had to admit that she had raised an eyebrow when she had heard of the Guildmasters interest in the trip. She did not know her all that well, despite being an Ace but even still, it seemed unusual. The thought of the Queen taking part in usual beach activities actually caused a ghost of a smile to cross her face. It would certainly be a sight to see, one that she was quite looking forward to witnessing herself.

Eventually the car trip came to an end and Medeia’s ears were soon being attacked by Rio’s non stop barrage of words. She nodded her head in response to his greetings and questions, replying with a simple but polite. “Hello, Rio.” She raised a brief eyebrow when he referred to her outfit but did not say anything in reply. Honestly, there was not much of an outfit at all, as she had decided to wear her usual Desierto gear, allowing anyone who gazed upon her to get a pretty good look at her form. She had never been one to hide her body from the world and she was most definitely not going to do so on a lovely beach. His comment regarding Tegan though did cause her to smile and she added then at that point. “You could say that Tegan and I have formed a rather tight bond with one another.” It was exactly what it sounded like although Medeia stated in a completely deadpan way that it might have been difficult to tell what she meant.

As his attention turned away from her and onto the Queen and then to Kyra, Medeia kept her focus on him. He was suspect as far as she was concerned and even the way that he hugged Kyra appeared insincere to the angel. His actions just seemed fake to her and considering what she had heard about the families treatment of Kyra from the girl herself, her suspicions deepened. What was he up to?

For now though, there was little else she could do but follow along with the rest of the group, looking forward to having a hopefully pleasurable encounter on the beach.

    The White Queen
If it weren’t for Nadaline and Bertrand mentioning to the white haired queen that they had another place they could go to that they hadn’t for a while. They also suggested that she take a little break from running her guild and country, giving the command to control to one of her other trusted servants while Nadaline, Bertrand, and Dahmin, her newest prize she won from getting rid of some politicians in Desertio. He was a cute little blue haired boy who seemed more than willing to follow Saraphina’s orders since she practically saved him with another former member of her guild. She had set out to find Kyra and have her take her to where she came from so she could see about the beach there and to the event that the twin servants had told her about.

She was currently dressed in a one piece swimsuit with a small tutu on the end and frills on the breasts area. The suit was currently covered by a long, half transparent, white shrug. On her feet were a pair of low heeled white pumps. Her hair was let down to flow all over the place, but Nadaline and Dahmin were both positive in their skills that they’d be able to put her hair up nicely for the beach. As they were at the base of the mountain, she wasn’t too sure about the man who had come out of the limo to greet them when they approached the limo. She tilted her head as she put a hand to her chin. He didn’t greet her first. She wasn’t too impressed with this. She gave the man a glare while he finally brought his attention to her. Her eyebrow raised at his apology, but it instantly was wiped away as she begun grinning from his words. He had taken her hand, and she blushed at the kiss he placed on her hand.

“Unfortunately, you did offend me by not addressing me first… But I am gracious enough to forgive you.” She muses before he goes off to talk to Kyra. After he went off to talk to the group and tell them about where they were staying, she raised an eyebrow once again, especially so when she was requested to take a tour of the family's businesses they had. “I will see if it interests me at the time.” She giggles as she shrugs her shoulders. She wasn’t sure about if she wanted to follow his ‘orders’ to follow him, but looked over to Nadaline, who shrugged her shoulders. Saraphina glared at the servant before shaking her head and let herself be led away by the group.

She let herself look around a bit, stopping as she noticed a sign for sand castle making. She let herself trail off from the group, seeing what other people were making already. Part of her was thinking her castle was much better than these ‘sand castles’ that she was observing. Her attention turned to Dahmin, and she smirked. “Have you ever made one before?” She questioned him.

He nervously tapped his index fingers together, but slowly nodded. “It’s been some time… but yes, your highness. I still believe I am familiar with some techniques to make some castles.” He tells her with a smile, but it faltered as Sara frowned from realizing a bit of sweat was rolling down her forehead. Nadaline came over and opened up a parasol above her, blocking the sun from the queens fair skin. That put Dahmin at ease though after.

Out of the four members of Errings Rising going to the beach party, Amber was one of the two who were... less than excited. The Lioness had never cared for beaches, as her power was weaker over sand than over solid stone, and almost completely nullified when in water. Plus the feeling of weightlessness one felt while swimming never appealed to her. She preferred to have her feet both firmly planted on solid ground. But Kyra had asked so sweetly, it would have been churlish for her to refuse. Besides, Medeia was going as well, and Amber could not simply turn down an opportunity to spend more time with her new... Lover? Girlfriend? Partner? Mentor? She was still a little confused as to what appellation to stick on Medeia, but she was sure they would figure it out eventually. They both loved each other deeply despite the relatively short time they had known each other, and both were determined to make the relationship last. At least, Amber was.

The fact that she would get to see the angel in a swimsuit was also an appealing reason to go on this little trip. She herself was wearing a black bikini with red straps, with an old ripped-up white shirt over the top as an accent. It showed off her curvy body to great effect, and she enjoyed it. Especially in front of Medeia.

The Lioness had spent the car trip lightly snoozing, her head resting on the Angel's shoulder. She shared her partner's disdain for car trips, and figured the best way to put up with it would be to sleep through it. When the car stopped and people started moving about, she woke and blinked about blearily, then exited the car herself. She was barefoot and wearing nothing but her swimsuit, and didn't mind either one in the slightest, even on the hot asphalt. Something about her demon blood made her somewhat resistant to heat. She listened to Kyra's brother's speech, responding to his greeting with a nod. She was still a little sleepy, and not all that interested in what he was saying. He wasn't as cute as Kyra, and she wasn't in guys at the moment. Besides, the Queen was practically drooling over him, and Amber had heard that she could be somewhat jealous. Something he said did eventually register with her, her ears perking up as she focused on him, then laying flat on her head as she cringed. "Penthouse?" she muttered. "Great..." The Lioness, while not precisely afraid of them, was not fond of heights. Her power was greatest when touching the ground, and she always preferred to be on ground level, if not below it. And she just knew that this fancy hotel he was talking about would be incredibly tall. The Velkhommes never did anything by halves. But she would put up with it, if only she could share with Medeia. Then at least she would have something to distract her from the height.

She followed along with the others, her golden gaze wandering around the pristine beach. It certainly looked wonderful, but she was still less than enthused. She cringed again as they stepped from asphalt to sand, feeling the footing beneath her change from firm and solid to yielding and uncertain, the sand shifting underfoot. She also felt the weakening of her power that came with stepping on something that was not solid rock. Her earth magic did have some control over sand, it being nothing more than stone that had been pounded into powder by the waves, but it was less precise and more nebulous without greater focus than would otherwise be necessary. If need be, she could call up the stone she could feel beneath the sand, but it would take longer and require more effort. "Ugh." she grumbled quietly to herself. "I'm going to need beer. Lots of it."

Rio walked and talked with them for a while, arriving right beside the beach in no time. The place was thoroughly packed, with dozens of groups scattered around the front of the largest seaside city in Fiore. Kyra looked around, seeing some people that she recognized, but a lot more people that seemed as if they were from out of town.

"Good to see our stars have come to visit," Demi's voice called. Kyra looked to see her, Tegan, and Karos all together, Tegan holding a volleyball.

"And the two babes are-" Tegan cut herself off as she looked at Sara. "Damn, Kyra's got a third smokin' hot babe as a buddy?"

Rio laughed. "No, no, Tegan. This is Saraphina, Queen of Errings Rising."

Tegan took a few steps forwards, kissing Medeia on the cheek. "Doesn't change the fact that she's a babe. Just like these two beauts. Haven't seen you together in a while." She winked, lobbing the ball to Kyra, who flinched as she caught it. "Karos was varsity volleyball back in school. How's about we do a little four on four? Me, Demi, Karos, and Rio versus the four of you?"

"I do apologize once more, your Majesty," Rio said with a bow, extending a hand towards the queen, ensuring not to touch her. "Before you begin, I would ask that you play a quick game with us. I certainly doubt we will win, especially against someone of your natural talents, but it would be an absolute delight for your subjects to see you succeed."

Demi agreed, dragging Karos along with them to a small little arena for volleyball. Kyra gulped as people filtered in to see the matchup begin. She looked to the other side to see what the four were looking like. Karos initially looked a little uncomfortable, Kyra knowing that they were just taking advantage of him stopping in for once. He at least had enough of his dignity to wear his button up over his swimming trunks. Tegan was in a very simple black bikini, knowing to accentuate her form. Tegan knew she was trying to gather Medeia's eyes. Demi, as Kyra expected, was very modestly dressed, not even in a bikini. She had appearances to keep up. Rio, meanwhile, had switched into his swimsuit, baring his body to the world. Kyra knew they were outmatched.

And such did the game go for most of it. Tegan agreed to a best out of five series, and Kyra's family had won the entire first game without Kyra, Medeia, Amber, or Saraphina picking up a single point. However, it seemed as if the longer the game went on, the more they succeeded. Rio and Demi seemed to lose their footing every so often while Tegan just seemed to be distracted by Medeia and Amber. Somehow, they managed to squeak by with a win at the very last moments. The crowd that formed around them erupted into shocked cheers as the presumed underdogs won. Demi and Tegan quickly approached the group, congratulating them, with Tegan taking the two closest to Kyra into a little huddle, before Rio arrived with a lei, wrapping it around Kyra's neck. "Guess we were just off our games, huh?"

Kyra smiled a bit. She suspected that they may have thrown the game somewhat for her, but that still did not explain Tegan's distraction and Demi and Rio's tripping, nor did it explain the occasional glares that Karos seemed to give to the Queen. Kyra honestly worried for him now. What if she took that as a slight? The Queen might kill her family and then-

"Feel free to try out all of the activities," Rio's rich voice declared. "One of my siblings I'm sure is available to offer you the leis. We have limbo, sand castles, horseshoes, fishing, surfing, and of course a lovely feast. Please, enjoy yourselves to your hearts' content!"

With that, as well as a quick bow from Demi and Tegan winking at Medeia and Amber, Kyra was left alone.

"S-sorry about my family," she muttered, blushing a brighter red than the flowers on her lei. "They've always been... strange like that.  B-but everything we have here is really fun, a-and I'm sure that you could find my siblings around somewhere! S-so... d-do you all want to split up or w-where are we going next? I-I'm up for anything!" And for what seemed like the first time in a while, Kyra had a genuine, excited smile on her face.

Volleyball was not a game that she knew all that well but Medeia had performed as well as could have been expected of her albeit she had spent the majority of the game putting Tegan off. It had worked a treat and Medeia was sure that she would come across her again by the time the event had come to an end. They had a deal with one another of course, involving Kyra’s return to the guild and the angel was more than looking forward to claiming her part of it. She hoped that the penthouse that they were staying in had soundproof walls because they were most definitely going to need them. The witch would of course ask Amber to join them too, not wanting her beautiful blonde lover to miss out on all the fun. For the moment though, Medeia was simply curious about what other activities the beach had to offer. She was not all that used to mortal games and hobbies but the raven haired woman was willing to indulge herself in them today. Perhaps she would find one that could become a hobby of hers? Unlikely but the possibility was there and stranger things had happened.

When the game was over and Kyra apologised, Medeia simply turned her gaze to her, a smile crossing her features, a hand rising to fluff her mentee’s hair. “You have nothing to apologise for, Kyra. Just relax and enjoy yourself. I must say that it is nice to see such a bright smile on your face, you should do it more often.”

Turning her gaze to view the beach, Medeia’s gaze would fall upon a group of people by the water, all holding poles of some kind, catching fish of all things. It was quite an unusual sight for her and it seemed that the person running the activity noticed her glance, beckoning her over. With a shrug, she would slowly wander over, leaving the others to do as they wished. It was a little holiday after all and she was not going to dictate to the others what they should do. Not today anyway. The figure was a bikini clad woman, who offered her a fishing pole as the angel approached.

“Would you like to take part in our little fishing contest?” The woman asked, a bright smile across her face.

“I have never fished before.” Medeia answered flirtily, admiring the fisherwoman. “Not for actual fish anyway.”

“Oh, you must give it a try then. All you have to do is take this and cast it out into the water. When you feel something on the end, simply start to pull back and reel it in. It is quite easy and I am sure you will get the hang of it.” Came the response. “You have fifteen minutes, so cast out and good luck!”

Had she been in a bad mood, Medeia might have been annoyed by the woman’s attempt at bossing her about but after the group's victory at the volleyball, the angel let it slide. So, taking the pole in hand, she would venture out along the shore until she found a quiet spot and cast out her line, having watched the other fisherpeople cast out theirs. After that, it was simply a waiting game and all she did was simply bask in the lovely sun, making the most of the peace and quiet. She had to admit that a quiet sport such as this actually suited her. It gave her time to think and ponder. The water almost had a hypnotic feel to it too and the angel could have almost drifted off due to the beauty of it.

However, she was brought swiftly back to reality as a powerful tug on her line caused her to start to pull on the rod, having apparently hooked a fish. A big one too by the feel of it. The fish was not going to be easily caught and Medeia had to put considerable strength behind her pulling as she tried to reel in the monster. What on Earthland was this fish? The fight took about five minutes in the end and there were skid marks in the sand from where Medeia was pulled forwards by the strength of the aquatic animal but in the end, she would be victorious. With one mighty tug, an enormous Marlin would come flying out of the water, landing with a crash beside her. It had an almost sword-like nose and must have been about 15 feet long. An absolute beast of a fish.

The other fishers whistled with delight at her catch and were soon swarming around to get a look at it. The runner of the event would soon emerge too and after taking one look at the Marlin, swiftly placed a Lei around Medeia’s neck and named her the champion. No one was going to catch anything bigger than her monster.

It did, however, leave the angel with a bit of a predicament. What was she going to do with this fish?

Pondering for a few moments, she would then call out across the beach. “Kyra? Fancy a snack?”

    The White Queen
The queen didn’t seem phased by the various attire of all the females present. Honestly, she didn’t care. They weren’t her prince charming or anything, just her members of her guild. She raised an eyebrow to the new voice, wondering whom the female was. The second one got her tilting her head in confusion at herself being called a ‘babe’. She wasn’t sure how to react to that fully, and Rio seemed to correct this Tegan person. There was a third with the two females, and he seemed kind of quiet, and it piqued her interest a bit. This didn’t interest her much already. So boring. After she had trailed off over to the sand castles, she was about to get Dahmin to start making her one of the castles, but it seemed Rio had better plans to derail the queen of her plans.

Saraphina glared over to Rio as she stood up straight, pouting as she put her arms under her chest. She tilted her head up and glared at him. Dahmin quickly scrambles up and bows a bit. “I can get started on making your castle in your absence, your highness. It might take some time and I don’t want to bore you with the process of making the castle.” He quickly says as he brings his hands in front of his chest, nervously fiddling with his fingers as he did so. After he says that, the white haired queen takes a deep breath before she places her hand in Rio’s letting him lead her away from her original fun. “This better be worth it.” She pouted as she warned him. She was already feeling a bit uncomfortable from the heat.

As she was brought to the court, Saraphina was a bit confused. She was unfamiliar with the game as she wasn’t one born in seasons. Only winter and cold. Nadaline seemed to quickly pop over and explain to the queen what the basics of the game was, making the queen scrunch up her face in confusion. It made zero sense to her. She wasn’t too fond of the ball coming towards her either, almost throwing up her magic and using a glowing sword to cut the ball, but she had retracted the sword quickly back into its pocket dimension. She wiped her forehead and found herself sweating for the first time ever after actually running in an attempt to hit the ball that came flying at her!

“What in Odin's name?” She said in a horrified voice during one of the breaks between the games. Nadaline had hurried over and dabbed her queen's forehead with a washcloth. “You’re doing so great, your majesty! I know this game isn’t your style, but the people seem to really like seeing you playing with the common folk.” She eagerly says. She wasn’t going to mention that some of them might have been ogling her chest with her Errings Rising mark right above her cleavage on her sternum. She knew the queen would simply destroy the beach otherwise.

During the whole five games, the young queen scored maybe two actual points. The rest were out of bounds or she missed completely. She barely noticed herself being glared at from time to time though during the games. She was currently distracted by the fact that after these five games, she was all sweaty and panting really hard. She wasn’t used to this much physical exercise like this! Nadaline had come over and was starting to fan off her queen as Bertrand went to go fetch her something to drink.

While she was still panting, Karos came up to her and handed her an ice cold water bottle, almost putting it on her cheek. The feeling of the cold on the queen's cheek made her close her eyes as she reached her hand up and grasped his hand to bring the bottle closer to her face, making it touch her completely. She slowly opened a purplish pink eye to the unfamiliar man, a smirk slipping across her lips as she continued to hold his hand around the bottle. “I want to go play with the sand castles. Show me how to make one.” She giggled as she slipped the bottle from his fingers and grabbed his wrist with her other hand. No was clearly not being an answer as she dragged the man with her while she continued to giggle.

Nadaline was quickly following the queen, holding an umbrella to keep the sun off of her skin as she didn’t want the queen to be burned any more than she already would after that volleyball game. The maid followed as her queen led the other man towards where Dahmin was, and nervously smiled towards him. Dahmin quickly stood up and bowed to Saraphina and her guest she brought along. “Hello! Are you wanting to make sand castles with me for Her Majesty?” He asked excitedly.

Saraphina let go of Karos, clapping her hand to her wrist before she smiled to the two. “I think it’s time to start making a sand castle for me~!” She sings and sways from side to side. Dahmin quickly bobs his head up and down before he twirls on the balls of his feet and was shoving sand together into a huge pile in front of him. It took some time, but he seemed to pack the sand together and ‘carved’ in the sand like one would carve one of those large ice cubes that one could see through. She would find decorations around them, shells, little loose flags left on the beach (or those were taken from other sand castle makers, she didn’t care regardless), and some little umbrellas for drinks. She came back to where Dahmin, and Karos if he stayed despite her insisting, was at. She dropped the cute little things she intended to decorate her sand castle. That was one thing she liked about this sand castle thing, she could get it decorated however she wished.

Dahmin would take some of the things she laid down for him to decorate her sandcastle with, and start placing them around it to make it look nice. And it indeed looked nice. By the time the judging came around, the judge gave a bit of a face towards Sara’s castle. Dahmin had stepped in front of the judge, grabbing a lei and smiling brightly. “Your majesty! You won first for the best castle! Here is your prize~!” He cries out excitedly to her. He knew the look on the judges face and was trying to save him before Saraphina went off on him and lopped off his head. The queens eyes had seemed to light up with pure joy as Dahmin said this, making her touch the lei excitedly. “Lets go see what else your other members are currently up to~! Maybe we can also tell the others about how great of a sand castle you have to go with your castle in Hostia and on Mount Hakobe!” He cooed to her, putting a hand under her elbow gingerly. She giggles as she nods, liking that idea as she looks to see where Karos was.

After the volleyball game, during which Amber scored a modest 4 points and helped mostly by stealthy making the sand shift under their opponents' feet and distracting Tegan with her cleavage, Amber was nurturing a raging appetite. She was accustomed to the physically demanding actions of combat, and volleyball wasn't all that far removed from a battle, although it involved more leaping into the air than she was really used to. As her guildmates drifted away, the scent of roasting meat drifting on the light sea breeze caught her attention, and she followed it, ambling easily over the sand and trying to ignore how it felt underfoot.

The Lioness soon came across the source of the delicious smells - the feast that had been promised. It seemed almost like an unofficial eating contest was taking place at the enormous banquet table, and she grinned predatorily. One would never be able to tell from her slim and well-muscled figure, though curvaceous in the right places, but Amber was a voracious eater and could easily consume almost as much as Kyra could in one of her rampages. The earth mage moseyed up to the table, grabbing a plate and loading it up with everything she could reach, nabbing a can of beer as well.

She took a seat amidst some other partygoers, smirking slightly and winking at one reasonably-attractive woman with long blue hair. Then, much to the shock and mild disgust of those sitting around her, she began to dig in. Amber wasn't a messy eater like Kyra. To be messy meant to be wasteful. Not a single piece of food, not a kernel of corn or gobbet of roast chicken, went flying. Some grease was splashed around, but that was unavoidable when one ate as fast and as ferociously as the hungry Lioness. She tore into her food with an almost religious fervor, cleaning her plate in a matter of moments and washing it down by chugging the entire can of beer in a few gulps, letting out an ear-splitting and cavernous belch afterwards. Then it was time for seconds, although it resembled more of a 'round two' than another helping. More plates and cans followed, enough that Amber eventually lost count. She figured it must have been around ten, as she was just barely beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol by the time she was full. Her demon blood made her somewhat resistant to getting drunk, which meant that she could win a drinking contest against vanilla mortals as easily as she could an eating contest.

After letting out yet another enormous belch, Amber sat back and idly picked her teeth with one fingernail shapeshifted into a long and incredibly sharp claw, her belly gently rounded from it's normal shape by the sheer volume of food she had devoured in the last twenty or so minutes. Those partygoers around her had deserted their seats at the table after her third plate or so, getting out of the splash zone. The blue-haired girl had looked vaguely sick as she walked away, clutching her stomach. Amber felt a little bad about that for a moment, but shrugged philosophically. It wasn't her fault the girl had a weak stomach. A few minutes later, an official-looking woman walked over, nervously eyeing the destruction the Lioness had visited upon her feast table. Every platter within arm's reach of her had been cleared completely. The woman was holding a flower lei, which she then draped around Amber's neck, declaring her the winner before retreating hurriedly, as if scared Amber would eat her too. The earth mage shrugged that off as well, then looked down at the lei. It was comprised of white flowers with pink throats, interspersed with yellow and purple flowers. It looked quite fetching against her lightly-tanned skin and golden hair, so she accepted it with yet another shrug and wandered off to find her friends again.

Following their game of volleyball, Kyra simply sat back underneath a shaded pavilion, Tegan by her side, sweating and panting heavily. "The guild being kind to you?" she asked, wiping off her forehead with the back of her hand.

Kyra hesitated a moment before nodding. "They're still really scary, but... yeah. For the most part."

Tegan chuckled. "You mean aside from them still being a bit spooky to you and the 'experiments' Medeia does with your lacrima?"

Kyra inadvertently let out a small noise of shock. "H-how do you know about that?"

A simple shrug came from the third eldest sibling. "I have my ways of knowing. Hey, if it lets you have more control over it, then... I suppose it's fine. She's someone I could trust with that. She's got a lot of power."

Kyra waited a few moments. "Y-yeah..." she finally mumbled. Tegan seemed to know more about Medeia than Kyra did. A part of her figured it was just her own confidence trying to cloud the good things about Medeia, but... it did not really matter. Tegan was still better than Kyra in so many ways, and Kyra would never be able to break through that. "W-what do you think of Queen Saraphina and Amber?"

Tegan raised an eyebrow. "In a word? Sexy. Both of them. Amber seems to have her other priorities, but maybe I just haven't made myself known to her. The Queen, on the other hand..." Tegan motioned her head towards the beachside where the Queen was with Karos and two of her servants. Well, more accurately, Saraphina was making her way towards some of the other events while the servants held an umbrella up to keep her out of the sun while Karos was being dragged along by the wrist, just out of the umbrella and into the pure sunlight. "I think she's found someone of interest."

Kyra actually laughed a little at the sight. The cold, constantly lonesome Karos was reduced to being dragged along by the Queen, much to Kyra and Tegan's amusement. At that point, Kyra heard Medeia's voice calling out and a massive fish in her mentor's hand, causing the young Slayer to salivate. Tegan smirked and patted her back, sending Kyra on her way towards the fish and a good snack.

"Guess it's awful fitting for ya to grab all that food, huh, Miss Stone?" Ozzie would ask Amber as she passed through the line, grabbing tons of food and a can of beer. "Dealing with my sis oughtta bring up quite the appetite. Oh, if you got any special requests for food for me to make, just ask. I can whip up something in a flash. Your meals while you're here in the city are free of charge and courtesy of me. Let's just say there's a reason I was voted one of the top ten chefs in the entire country in the last edition of Foodstuffs Magazine, so anything you need, I can easily provide. On that note..." Ozzie reached beneath the small little counter he had for food preparation and pulled out an entire roasted wyvern leg, handing it to Amber. "Just tell me if it isn't cooked to your liking. Just going off what Kyra told me."

It was then that Ozzie would let out a laugh as he saw Karos being pulled along by the Queen of Errings Rising. "I thought you said work was the only thing you were gonna let lead you around, Karos!"

The mercenary leader scoffed. "Didn't have much choice."

Ozzie absently waved a hand. "Keep telling yourself that, you're happy to be with the Queen right now." Karos did not make an audible response, the only thing close to that being a look on his face of irritation from being dragged around, though he doubted the others would notice it. "Anyways, you're looking might warm right now, Your Highness. Luckily, Rio told me you were fond of some sweet foods, and in particular..." He reached beneath the table and pulled out a bowl of strawberry pudding, a light "steam" coming off of it. "Might be a bit cold, though. Try not to get frostbite. If you need more cold foods, we got a section of the feast right around the corner filled with ice creams and other cold foods. Don't worry, all of it's still gonna be real cold for another few hours, and that's without me refilling the ice." He laughed. "Now then, you enjoy your day, Your Highness." He gave a small bow and looked around the beach, smiling as he saw Kyra struggling to take small bites of the fish the lady Rio told him was Medeia had given her. Boy, Kyra sure had increased her appetite for meats recently. Ozzie wondered just what was going on with his sister, but he merely took the time to enjoy as the members of his little sister's guild enjoyed themselves on the beach as well as a little bit of schadenfreude at Karos's predicament.

The angel smiled as she watched Kyra approaching, having watched her and Tegan chat. Medeia could not help but wonder about just what had been said but she was happy to just leave it be. Out of all of Kyra’s siblings, it had been Tegan that Medeia had become most attached to. She just had that kind of personality that attracted the witch and the time that they had spent together had been lovely. Medeia had made a mental note to make sure that the two spend a little more time in each other’s company too. She had no doubt that the beautiful pink haired woman would say yes, as she had not done so far and had been surprisingly willing and able to take part in Medeia’s more adult pastimes. If she did not know any better, the Ace would have said that Tegan actually enjoyed being at her mercy, a thought that made her smile. It amused her somewhat as to how different that Kyra was to the rest of her family. They were all so confident while Kyra was constantly fighting to find any semblance of it. Oh, Medeia knew the reasons why that was now and she would do her utmost to help her mentee overcome her doubts but still, the difference was startling.

As Kyra reached her and started to eat, Medeia would utter with a chuckle. “Come now, Kyra. You must be hungry after our volleyball match. Eat your fill and do not be shy. Eat the whole fish if you wish.” Considering the size of the marlin, that was quite a task but she knew just how much her mentee could eat when she was in the mood. She could devour entire animals in moments, let alone people and it always surprised Medeia a bit as to the ferocity of the girl’s hunger. If only she could take that ferocity into her normal life and take control. That was what the angel truly wished to see and if everything worked out properly, Kyra would finally find what she was so sorely lacking. Of all her students, she had never had one like the young Velkhomme and in a way, that was what made her special. Kyra was a challenge and what was more than that, she was Medeia’s flower, a nickname that the witch had come to refer to the girl as. A flower that would one day bloom.

As Kyra continued to take small bites, Medeia would gently tease her student. “If you do not like it raw, I will gladly cook it for you.” With her powers of fire, it would only take a moment and would be far quicker than doing it on the barbeque. Her mentee was completely adorable and if the angel did not have to use both hands to hold the fish, she most likely would have fluffed her girl’s hair. Today had turned out to be a nice little distraction and even having to put up with Rio had not spoiled it.

    The White Queen
As soon as the queen spotted her ‘escort’ for the day, she grabbed his wrist and began to tug him along with her. “Come with me~” She giggles ever so sweetly to him. She spotted Amber over by the buffet, and blinked a little. What in the world was the food here doing with no one eating it? Or more… Where did all the eaters go? Did Amber do something to scare them off? Or were they scared of her guild? Or did they leave out of respect? It must have been out of respect for her guild member!

As they approached the food table that was the site of an apparent tropical feast, Saraphina blinked at the black haired person with tanned skin and was laughing at Karos for some reason. She had let go of his wrist by the time they made it to the buffet. She tilted her head as she blinked to him as he mentioned that Karos was happy to be with her, and her eyes lit up a bit. She quickly turned her attention to Karos, and giggled as she squeezed her elbows together, squishing her breasts together at the same time. The other brother distracted her again and she quickly turned her head as he handed her a pudding. Her eyes started to grow wide as she grinned rather widely.

She grabbed the bowl from him and stuck her finger right in to lick it off of it after she brought her finger to her lips. “Why would I get frostbite from meer pudding? It’s nothing as cold as Icebergs temperatures.” She giggles as she shakes her head. She didn’t understand that, but he still looked cute. But then there was also Karos here with her. Her cheeks started to turn a little red, the color spreading to her ears as she realized she was currently surrounded by two cute guys. She looked back up again though as she was told that there were more cold treats down at the end, and she giggled before grabbing a spoon and digging into her bowl. “Thank you~” She says as she starts walking. Dahmin came up next to Saraphina and held his hands out to hold the bowl for her as she walked. He was as competent as Nadaline and Bertrand.

After a moment of her walking, Saraphina turned around to look at Karos, raising an eyebrow. “I think I’d really enjoy it if you came and visited the castle some time, either in Hostia, or on Mount Hakobe.” She tells him as she sticks the spoon in the bowl of pudding and walks up to the man. She put her hands behind her back and slightly leaned forward as she swayed from side to side, batting her eyes to him. If one didn’t know the queen well, they would think she knew how to attempt to entice someone. In reality, she just felt really cute and was oblivious to how the act would seem.
