Kairi led the way for Kyra as the two walked the streets of Talonia. Even if it had not been for the notoriety of the Velkhomme family, it was easily possible that people would assume their relationship. Kyra the younger, more fragile, and more reserved sister, while Kairi stepped ahead like a shining beacon of confidence, glistening in the erratic weather of the once beautiful and calm town. Now, the place had been wracked by storms and gales from some ancient being in the caves near the city. Kyra sighed, looking up to her sister and looking for whatever the much more competent ace of Goldheart could do. The two sisters soon enough entered into a small tavern, shielding themselves from the massive thunderstorm that boomed throughout the area. Kyra looked around to see many travelers huddled in here as well, hiding themselves from the raging tempests that swirled outside.

"Was the journey fine?" Kairi's calm, caring voice asked as Kyra lowered her umbrella.

"Y-yes, i-it was fine," the young Velkhomme muttered.

A concerned look grew on Kairi's face as she examined her sister. Soon enough, Kairi was brushing Kyra's hair aside. "You can be honest with me, Kyra. If you're uncomfortable, just tell me."

Kyra felt a weak smile cross her face. "T-thanks. It's been a while since we've done anything together."

A brighter smile popped onto Kairi's face. "That's true! You really need to talk to us more, Kyra. All of us are willing to do things with you, you just need to ask!"

    Kyra nodded. "Y-yeah. It's just-"

Kairi patted the top of Kyra's head. "I know. You don't want us to be involved with Errings Rising." She remained silent for a moment, before her voice went to a hush. "Or your magic. Tegan told me. I'll do my best to protect you."

Kyra felt herself freeze for a moment, but that soon passed. Maybe Kyra could at least trust her family, finally. As long as Father didn't know about the nature of her magic, then she would be fine, right? Her siblings always supported her, so if they knew, they could help, right? She sighed as Kairi ordered a table for the two of them and their assistance from Sabertooth, though perhaps it was more apt to say they were the assistants for Sabertooth. Kairi took her hat off, wringing her hair out, and somehow Kyra thought she still looked more beautiful than Kyra ever would. Kairi looked up at Kyra for a moment. "Are you sure you'll be able to fight in that? It looks a little... constraining?"

Kyra looked down at her own outfit, one that was fittingly plain for how plain she was. "I-I'll be fine. I-I'm just here to support you and the person from Sabertooth."

Kairi smiled. "You'll do wonderfully, no matter how you're helping. You're a B Rank Wizard now, Kyra! You're so strong!"

Kyra blushed, denying the assurance as the two waited for their person from Sabertooth to arrive.

The thunderclouds and storms weren’t stopping him. Not when a request like this was put on the board back at the inn.

He remembered the name Velkhomme. A sweet one had visited them prior to this quest, and her puffy, fluffy hair was floating in his mind a couple times. Imai, frankly, had a lot of women to think about to make time pass; his thoughts were solely his fantasies where no one could judge him for what he was thinking about. All those… all those tags, man! His mind had grown to the point where thinking felt like entering an isolated building on the physical plane! Sadly, though, sensations were also just mere thoughts, so he was this close from being able to create his own pocket dimensions…

But all those tags came to life, man! All of them! P##z#r#! I#pl#ed! S#m#ta! B##b V##c#no! C###m#i#! P#bl## S##! Tr##n M###s#a####! Bl##km##l! R#v##s# R###! M##ds! O#se#! S#ew##d#s##! So many tags came to life, and he imagined just the right sequence of women he’d love to partake in carnal joining with!

… *Cough* B-But today was a work day. And he remembered the Velkhomme.

Seemingly, the harsh weather began to die down outside, but it was mainly due to the fact that Imai was running at mach irrational speed towards the meeting place. The speed from his stampede pushed the wind away, which in return pushed the clouds and the other winds away from him. Soon enough, he was in front of the door to the tavern, and a strong gust leaked through the edges of the door and into the lounge where the others were sitting.

And slowly, he opened the cranky door and stepped in. He had been impatient to meet up with that beauty again, but he made sure to bring his high-tech Crossbow with him. It was tightly strapped to his back, while a wide bulge was forming in the front of his shirt where Sei was sleeping underneath. He was ready to deal some damage to… w-well, depending if this quest was about damage at all.

“S-Shit, don’t say I’m too early… uhhh… o-oh, there you are! What’s cracking, ladies~?” he switched his slick mode on and approached the table with a sparkle in his eye and smile, “Damn fine meeting you again, that’s for sho~. Seems beauty runs in the family, doesn’t it?”

Kyra sunk a bit further into her seat as the man from Sabertooth neared their table. "H-Hello again..." she meekly said, looking away.

Kairi sighed. "I suppose you're Imai Uchuuken?" She smiled, offering her hand for him to shake. "I am Kairessandra Velkhomme, but please, just Kairi is fine. I believe you've already met Valkyria?"

    Kyra mumbled. "K-Kyra's fine..."

Kairi gave a little smile, ruffling her sister's hair. "Yes, of course. Apologies if it's a bit confusing. Kairi and Kyra. Our father...certainly had a way with unique names." She nodded, placing out a sealed packet, a flash of lightning sparking off of her finger, the sealing popping in tow. "My sister, Tegan, gave me a quick dossier on the mission. I take it you got the same from your own guild master?" She looked over, seeing Kyra's uncertain face. "The basics of the mission is that we have an angered elemental spirit, located deep within the recesses of a temple a little ways out. Its sphere of influence is large enough to affect the weather here in Talonia, and that's causing massive problems for the city with the constant gale force storms. We're to head into the temple and eliminate the problem." She gave one more little smile to the man from Sabertooth. "Any questions?"

Aww… she looked a bit shy. Just like last time. Yet, Imai kinda digged that big time, so he kept smiling even when she turned away from him. Surely, she wasn’t turning away in disgust or anything like that, right? Right?

“Yup, that’s me,” he replied and gently shook Kairessandra’s hand, speculating over the length of her name. Kairessandra sure sounded like two names in one… and he wasn’t aware that the treat-haired Velkhomme’s full name was Valkyria. Hot damn, what a name – his actual name just meant ‘big bear’, but she was named after freaking Valkyries! How her parents must’ve loved her.

“Then I’ma call you Kyra! It’s a sweet nickname, after all,” he reassured her before turning his gaze towards Kairi. That was just when he noticed the similarity between their names. “Huuuh… I get where he’s coming from,” Imai commented shortly with a snicker, knowing that his parents named him ‘big bear’ and his little sister ‘little bear’ as to relate the two.

Taking a quick glance over the dossier, Imai nodded in response. Kenna-nee had briefed him shortly about the mission, and Itori was on another mission already – while her powers of… well… urgh, major fuck reality illusion bullshit or whatever – he was bad at really simplifying her powers for some reason – would’ve suited this mission greatly, she couldn’t be everywhere on Earthland at the same time. This mission befell to him and the two hotties accompanying him today. He was going to take the role of exorcist.

Punching his palm, Imai’s eyes lit aflame. He was more than ready to exorcise some spirit, even if he dind’t know exactly how – hopefully, he could just punch it to heaven or something. “Nah, I’m good. Ready and all, let’s punch the crap out of this spirit! Can’t have a troublemaker like that stir up shit in Talonia as if it owns the damn place – isn’t that right, Kyra?”

Kairi smiled, appreciating the enthusiasm of the man. "Of course, of course!"  She gave a look over to Kyra.

"U-um, y-yes. O-of course," she said hesitantly. It had been a very long time since she last did anything with any of her family members, and getting to see Kairi, whom she had seen in some less famous magazines as a top-tier "young" wizard, in action for the first time would be amazing. She'd seen Tegan in action, and Demi and Rio often protected her when necessary, but some of her younger elder siblings were more foreign to her as fighters.

Kairi led the way, quickly lifting a hand up as a small ball of light flickered above her. "I've heard a lot about you, Mr. Uchuken. Well, not just hearsay, I've also done a bit of reading myself on you. Heavenly Body Magic, the use of spacial bodies in magic. Stars and the like. I've always been interested in things like that. As for myself, I have what people have called 'Elemental Mastery.' It's why Tegan put me on this job. It's... nothing interesting, I'll be honest, but it's very effective. As for Kyra..." Her brow furrowed towards Kyra. "Well, she's been a bit tight-lipped about her magic. I don't even know."

Kyra's own eyebrow raised lightly. That was a pretty blatant lie, even if Kairi's acting towards it was pretty good. Perhaps it was to protect Kyra? This was a member of a legal guild, after all. If the true nature of her magic was discovered, then he might be obligated to arrest her, put her on trial with the Magic Council, or a number of other things of the sort. She'd even read about Sabertooth and their desire to protect the world from threats. Perhaps her lacrima would be considered one of these and she's be executed for her association with it?

"S-sorry," she said, thinking it would be suspicious if she did not speak. "It's just that... my own magic isn't all that flattering either. A-and since it's from a lacrima, it's a bit unstable." She quickly stammered, holding hands up. "N-not that magic from lacrimas is bad, o-or anything! T-Tegan, Demi, and Rio all have magics from lacrimas! I-it's just that... I originally didn't have any magic potential." She looked between Kairi and Imai. "A-and... I didn't get this lacrima until I had run away from home. I-I'm sure those three know about it, e-even without me telling them."

Kairi gave a smile. "I see. Would you mind doing me a favor, Mr. Uchuken? Can we make our top priority protecting Kyra? If her magic is unstable, I don't want her using it much. It could hurt her." She smiled, looking over towards Kyra. "Use your magic as much or as little as you think you need to."

Kyra smiled. "T-thank you, Kairi. A-and you too, I-Imai. S-sorry that I can't be as much help..."
