Death of a Palidan Empty Death of a Palidan

Post by Saint Olga 21st November 2022, 8:06 am

Saint Olga would be in her Chariot carried by eight skeletons.riding through the cursed lands, a place she felt very at home at.  Today she was going to the silent cemetery.  A location she had visited before on her mission of rebirthinh the dead.  However today she heard tale of somthing unsettling Hawken in her metaphorical backyard.  Though she smiled looking across from her.  Sitting across from hervwas the Warlord of Lust Medeia.  She had agreeded to help her at Olga's request.  She respectful lly spoke up.

"Media, I wanted to thank you for helping me today, it would seem a well know group of paladins, The Sunswords specially have been sent by the church at the peoples request to quell the undead problem around the area.  The problem with this is this is where I store a sizable portion of my undead for my Summoning.  This is where they feel most comfortable and at home now.   I'd rather these paladins were removed and there heads sent back church so they know to stay away "

She said all this while Maintaining a smile on her face not wanting to say too much as not to overload the warboard not that she could but it was only respectful m, plus she needed a moment  To gather her thoughts before continuing the matter.

I would normally not want to waste your time, however one of the reasons I asked you to help me today is because I was told the leaders on the level of  One of the top five Saints of Fiore.   I am no fool and I know I cannot handle that kind of adversary at the current power I'm at, however I'm sure  That you could handle him without too much of a problem."

She smiled and then waited for her response I'm sure there are questions that need to answer you or think of that nature as this wasn't a Guild job this was more of a personal favor to eliminate a goodly group of paladins that were well known all for the sake of her skeleton army however.  Though for the time being she'd wait for her answer or responses as the chariot rode onward enjoying the view of the woman sitting across from her.

It was rather strange being transported by a chariot rather than her own wings but Medeia had to say that it was rather comfortable, a word which pretty much summed up her mood. She had little doubt that the job that she and the newest member of Errings Rising were going on would be child’s play and the dark haired Warlord had already made plans for later that night, such was her confidence. There were few creatures or mortals that could truly face her in combat on an even footing and Medeia did not expect the powerful foe that Olga spoke about to be anything more than a mere trifle. The only downside was that the so-called enemy was a male, had that not been the case then the witch might just have had plans other than killing the saint. As it was, death would be his fate and her guildmate would be able to resume her summoning without any issues at all.

“He will not last five minutes with me and I will make sure that his death is nice and painful for you.” Medeia replied with a ghost of a smile. “I certainly hope that you plan to get involved too as I have been dying to see your magic in action ever since your induction. Those creatures you summoned that day were certainly intriguing and I look forward to seeing them cut down some poor and miserable fools.”

After a moment of thought, she spoke again. “I confess that the thought of killing followers of a church appeals to me rather more than most opponents do. An institution that I despise and one that I would quite happily destroy without a second thought. Having these paladins be slaughtered will be quite invigorating for me and I will certainly be more than happy to help send their heads back to their precious church.” Her issues with such groups were deep and just the mention of them was enough to irritate the powerful dark mage. This would be an enjoyable mission indeed and she was looking forward to it immensely.

A second pause and then Medeia decided to ask a question. “So what do these Sunswords use for magic? Are they brutes who fight up close? Do they use the powers of sunlight to burn and cause harm? I confess that I have not heard of them before and would like to know a little more before we engage them in battle.”

As it had been when she had allowed the Saint to join, Medeia found it rather difficult to keep her eyes off of the woman. She was lovely and had they not been on a job, it might just have been something else that she would ask to do with the beautiful black haired summoner. Yet, that kind of fun would have to wait for another day as there was a job to do and enemies to be slaughtered. Still, perhaps when it was all said and done maybe?

Post by Saint Olga 28th November 2022, 11:50 am

Thank you, and don't worry I wouldn't dare ask you to come You come on an errand with me like this and not participate. You will have plenty of opportunity to see what my match can do I assure you.

Saint Olga Spoke quite frankly. She wouldn't have dared made her do all the work, and so something she wanted to get some personal steak in as well her smile only grew when she mentioned the church and how she would help her with the second task. That one was more for her. Normally she wouldn't Indulge yourself in such pedestrian things like sending her heads back to enemies however this time she found that they were taking her livelihood and she did not take do kindly ro that. That being said she thought about her next inquiry which is what they were about she did have some information on them however some information I'll say would have to come to light during their upcoming encounter.

I'll be happy to share what knowledge I know. I know there leader fights up close with an enchanted blade that is only said to do more to inpure souls. Rumored to be one of the top swordsman in fiore he can power up and make a aura of radiant energy around himself and enhance his physical prowess ten fold. As for his me though I do know that two of them follow there leaders practice to a lesser degree and then they have a healer who keeps them all afloat. However oddly enough I don't have much data on them, probably because they aren't as flashy as the other three...though supports rarely get the credit they deserve. However in any case the four of them make up this squad. I am sure they can do more but sadly that's all I could dig up on such short notice however as you said this shouldn't be to much trouble for the likes of someone so powerful and skilled as yourself.

She spoke with a smile on her face as she looked upon the woman infront of her as then the carriage came to a halt. As it was lowered she assumed they were nearby these so called paladins. She looked to Mediea as she stood up and exited the warlord getting the door for her.

How do you propose we go about handling this situation. I am fine following your lead for now I'd you would like, but would be easier, just handling the situation or perhaps you have some tactic in mind that be better?

She asked looking at her as she would exit. She wouldbe fine following her lead for now, the last thing she wanted to do was potentially slow the warlord down, she wouldn't pretend like there wasn't a gap in there power and wanted to make sure she was able to not have to slow down because of her.

The witch listened with interest as Olga spoke about the opponents that they would be facing, her eyes never leaving the face of the lovely woman. It was not as if she was just trying to be intimidating or anything like that. No, she just found her to be beautiful which was more than enough reason for the angel to watch her. The information was incredibly useful too and Medeia approved of her guild mates’s prudence when it came to scouting the place out and knowledge gathering. They were important skills and would no doubt help the dark haired woman going forward. Medeia was not in the mildest bit concerned about the enemies that they would be fighting though and she saw no reason as to why she would need to lead.

As she clambered out of the chariot and returned to solid ground, the angel would smile and answer. “I think this would be the perfect chance for me to see what you can do. So, rather than me leading from the front, I am quite willing to sit back and let you decide how to go about this. You did the research and you know more about these men than I do. I will provide you with all the advice and support that you need but I believe it is important that you take point, so to speak. Do not worry though, as I will be right here and should things take a turn for the worse then I will butcher the scum without a second thought. I am sure that you are used to organising your troops so that should not be too difficult for you.”

She briefly circled the woman, as she had done during the Saint’s introduction, admiring her lovely form. There was no doubt that she was interested in more than just Olga’s magic and the witch found it difficult not to explore with more than just her eyes. Yet, Medeia knew that there was a job to do first and any fun would have to wait until later. For now, the Guild Mistress would just have to settle for taking pleasure from defeating the paladins.

“I do suggest that we remove the healers first though, as having them constantly protecting their allies is going to be an absolute pain.” She added softly after a few moments of thought.

Post by Saint Olga 20th December 2022, 6:44 am

Saint Olga watched as her Guild Mistress circled around her admiring her.  She appreciated it though she listened as she explained that this was a good time to show what she could do. She couldn't agree more as long as she had helped with the leaders that's all that was really important. She would continue to listen to her advice as she suggested to go after the healers first.  The idea was solid and once she had thought about, giving a small  nid Saint Olga finally spoke when she finished.

As you desire, I won't be happier to show you what I can do and trust that you'll be keeping an eye for once it's your time to do the same.  I will be off then, please watch over me...though I doubt I had to ask that.

She gave a small almost a sly smile since she walked around her earlier view all parts ofnher body.   However she began to walk away into the haze without another word.  She would make a small show of it as she walked flanking her on both sides of her just behind her ten skeletons clawed there way out of the earth and start to March behind her as if death followed her wherever she went.  As she finally disappeared into the haze of the Silent cemetery, she Summon a few more surprises for the paladins.

The  four followers Would be looking about my graveyard for anything that stood out, any traces of mechanisms that wasn't apparently obvious. The three of them were in a formation around the healer more than likely to use the effect of healervcouldn't really fight just protect.  As they marched on they stopped and turned abruptly when they heard Olga's blood curdling scream. They were turned to not be able to seek her fully through the cord that was surrounding her as she was pinned up against the wall.  Ten Zombies and skeletons were surrounding her getting ready to attack her.  The power of instinct and the virtues kind that they were told that he looked be on standby protecting from the horde as a rushed in to save Olga.  As I got in close she just smiled a little bit almost getting a bit of a yandere look. The healer was so focused on what was happening that she didn't even see that what came telepathically Saint Olga simple said.

    Fetch me the healers corpse.

Just as she finished, three zombies dogs pounced on the healer starting to rip her appart. She let out a blood purple and scream and started screaming for help.  The other paladins turned around looking shocked conceive what's happened if you speak attack. Cursing themselves that they were too careless all favorite quickly turned around to start heading back however, The skeletons and zombies were suddenly lunged out and start grabbing water them focusing down one person.  They would get pulled into the hole and while they didn't do much damage and A-war they were very dangerous I started cutting his way through them trying to get them off him. They would start to chip away at his life force in mana.  As the other  two were now a bit of a distance away stop but you turn around once again seeing their ally getting mold by the Ford and their healer getting ripped apart by these dogs they both opt to split up and help one of them.

This wouldn't do.  Saint Olga Wouldn't now add her surprise factor as she waved her hand her eyes glowed as if from the ground Oscar is shy in the middle of the two people getting mauled A ten foot skeleton night goes from the dirt and let out a blood curtain roar that would be used to deal with the two without words occupy it and so the other people would die.  As the scholar tonight would start to combat the two other palates she sat there and joined the chaos but felt a stronger cousin's mind towards them now, no doubt it was a leader. However she was sure that the mistress was also on her way.  So she focused on her troops and enjoyed the chaos.

The Warlord watched with interest as Olga ordered her minions around. It appeared that her guild mate had perfect control over them and Medeia was rather impressed with how well she commanded them. For a mage who was still on the lower side of the scale in terms of power, Olga seemed to have a firm grip on her powers, which was encouraging to see. Medeia made no real effort to join in with the slaughter though, sticking to her word and allowing her companion to show off her powers instead. It was obvious that the witch could have quite easily ended the conflict before it began but how would that help Olga’s development? The answer was simple. It would not. Medeia had taken a liking to teaching and guiding her fellow mages, having come to enjoy the sense of pride that she felt whenever they grew in power. Olga certainly seemed to have a variety of monsters that she could summon and Medeia was certainly intrigued by them. She could not help but wonder just what else the dark haired necromancer could summon, as well as what she may be able to bring forth when her power grew. Her knowledge of summoners was average but she knew that the higher rank the mage, the more powerful the creatures that could be summoned.

In the end, she decided to get involved a little in the fight albeit indirectly. The witch would close her eyes and utter a few words, in an ancient and dark language, the area around her would turn dark red, before a group of clones would form. Each one was crimson red in colour, wielding a blade that looked as though it had not been cleaned in decades, rusty and caked in blood that dripped from the edge. No one would wish to be cut by such a weapon and as the group of evil creatures kneeled before their Mistress, Medeia would speak to them. “Listen well, my delightful clones, our ally requires our aid and you will be my right hand in this endeavour. You will obey every order that Saint Olga gives you and will destroy her enemies. In doing so, you will curry my favour and prove your allegiance to me. Now go, the enemy awaits.”

Unable to speak, the clones would simply bow their heads, before turning and walking towards the enemy, the witch following close behind. The amount of clones was a dozen and a half, enough to make them look like a rather intimidating force. Their intelligence was minimal though and without a voice to guide them, they could not do much more than simply hit each other and explode, resulting in an unpleasant mess. Once they reached Olga, they would bow down towards her, as they had with Medeia.

The witch would smile towards her guild mate and explain. “These clones will no doubt be useful in the battle to come. I have given them strict orders to follow your command and they will fight whoever you wish them too. They will not question you and will obey you as they do me. Use them well, Saint Olga and have fun.” Allowing someone else to use her clones was not something that she had done before but she felt rather content with doing so.

Saint Olga What examined the battlefield looking around it was happening. The healer wasn't dying, They were definitely suffering but not dying as their healing was keeping them alive though they weren't able to fight off the dogs as they were so pinned on the ground struggling begging for help in pain. She then looked at the knight in the Horde, he had taken some damage but nearly cut them all down... this wouldn't do. With a wave of her have fifteen more rose from the ground. The paladin now startled and annoyed kept cutting them down. Though she wants to try to see that Her companion had sent her some reinforcements they look like bloody clones. She smiled hearing that they would obey her.

Very well if you are to obey then go and circle around the two paladins and my death knight, Make sure nobody leaves or interferes.

She spoke in a commanding tone as I would start to move out and shamble their way creating a small wedding up with a few paladins and her massive death knight. Unfortunately she was not one to finish the job quickly if she can help it. She enjoyed the game to a point, made it more rewarding when she Would inevitably guide them later. So for now she just sat there and watched she wasn't helping to feel a dangerous except for the last approaching fast.

The two paladins facing the knight watched as they got surrounded and got in a stance to face the behemoth. They charged it with such force enchanting there blades with holy magic striking at it. They seemed to being doing more fame due to it being undead. A minor issue really as the death knight let out a roar. It has what these Knights lacked, experience. It would swing its massive sword into the knight with such force knocking him away as he stumbled into the blood clones. They converted on him and exploded killing him instantly.

Saint Olga Watched the display it was also impressed by what the clones could do. Medias magic was no joke as suddenly a beam of light shaped like a sword flew down Piercing her death knight killing it immediately. As it cruppled to the ground. She looked up seeing the leader floating there a pair of angel wings keeping him there. She gave a sigh as the death knight fell and the paladin that was left went for the healer with a quick order she made the blood clones converge and stop them while she got her next Summon ready.

Death of a Palidan Empty Re: Death of a Palidan

Post by Medeia 22nd December 2022, 9:26 am

Her clones would obey Olga’s commands to the letter and Medeia watched with pride as they did a fair amount of damage to their foes. They were by no means lacking in power and it was a fusion spell, combining the power of the clones with the weapons they wielded. They thrived in battle and slaughtered whoever the Warlord’s guild mate told them to. She would admit though that it was a little strange to see them fighting for someone other than her but it was amusing nonetheless. It said a lot about Olga that she was able to control them so easily and Medeia pondered about whether it was a test that she should give to her other students too. Learning to take control and to command were vital skills, after all, ones that the witch herself loved. There was no greater feeling than to dominate others, whether it be through battle, words or even in the bedroom. It gave the Guild Mistress such a boost to her ego, one that she loved.

Medeia took no further action at that point, allowing her companion for the day to continue her assault against the Paladin’s. She was doing fairly well in the witch’s opinion and was rather impressed with the black haired woman’s work. The ground was swiftly becoming red with the blood of their enemies and she did not doubt her student’s skills. Already at least a couple of the paladin’s were dead and Medeia pondered if there would be any further need of her own skills at all. The necromancer seemed to have everything well in hand and with Olga’s and her own summons working together, it appeared to only be a matter of time before the fight would be over. Still, she supposed that she should not take their opponents too lightly, lest they find themselves in a real scrap.

It seemed that at least one of the Paladin’s was capable of dealing some damage though and Medeia had no doubt that this was the one who Olga had mentioned before. He bore a pair of wings that the angel recognised, causing the smile that had been on her face swiftly disappeared, replaced by one of annoyance and revulsion. He smote the knight that Olga had summoned in an instant, which caused Medeia’s eyebrow to raise. His magical aura was not bad although hardly on the angel’s level and she could have blasted him to pieces if she desired it. However, it was not her fight and so she remained behind her guild mate, following at a distance but seeing everything due to her powerful slayer senses. Should he irritate her though, then all bets would be off and she would quite happily rip his wings off and bury him. How she despised those who wielded the powers of her kin and the joy that she took from tearing them to shreds was great indeed.

For the time being, she would allow Olga the privilege of handling him but if the time came for her to intervene then she would without hesitation. Her powerful gaze was upon him, purple eyes almost piercing a hole through him. His fate was already decided, the only question now was who would deliver the killing stroke.

Post by Saint Olga 22nd December 2022, 12:26 pm

Saint Olga looked up at the man floating up there She was never particularly skilled at aerial base combat. It was a weakness of her as she attempted to correct one day but for now this causing problem. She gave a deep sigh as there was a sickening crunch from the cord finally killing one of the paladins. The healer was all that would remain at this point still being ravaged and pinned down by her dogs. So constantly regenerating while being bitten and snarled at. Olga looked at the leader who looked as if the dogs were his next target to free the healer. She fought for a moment as then it was time for her to get this guys attention. Her black wings fluttered as she started to float up. Chimp fly often to do the effect that loads for a build is rebound based however in this case it needs to be done. She floated till eye level with the man.

Hello you've come into my home and I invite to request that you leave. This will be your Only warning and for you alone as your Comrades have already resigned to their fate and will be tribute for your inslance.

She spoke in a calm and respectful tone just like she always would have. I should be no matter who you are you deserve to be talking to In a respectful term until shown otherwise. The leader just looked at her for a moment and then snarled at her.

Filthy Necromancer I will purge you from this world in the name of God!

With that he lunched Himself at her with incredible speeds. She was able to Dodge barely but didn't get nicked a little bit in her wing. She gave a grint of pain and a look of now sheer annoyance. This filthy model had the audacity to hurt her in Her own home. She quickly descended down To the ground in which case hes blind viruses made him followed the flying down At speeds that were the rival many others. As soon as he was close enough for the ground however she used much of her magic power at the time to summon thirty skeletons at a time that would all reach up and grab at him holding down his gun and pinning him down. She knew they wouldn't be enough to bring him down however they could certainly hold him down for what came next. What came next was it and the blanket behind all the cones that were remaining jumped on the pile and exploded all at once creating a rather large area of effect. And the aftermath laid nothing but bones and the leader who could bairly move this time. She summoned a few more skeletons to make him look as the dogs would finish off the healer finally. He let out a grunt as Saint Olga looked at him with disgust and distain.

You have lost paladin, and your life is forget. However you will not die by my hand, and there will be no guidance for you.

He said Taking a few steps back as the skeletons continued to hold him down as she looked up into the sky towards the direction where her guild mistress would be. She owed his defeat to her and felt she did nothing but watch. So she would make it more worth her time.

Guild mistress Medeia, Warlord of Lust I offer this false angel to you for your assistance in his downfall. Thank you for watching over me I do hope this gift is acceptable.

She said in a humble and respectful tone to the sky taking a step back now and giving space for the warlord to come in and work. She looked over at the leader who was now visibly shaken clearly not understanding why a warlord was here in the first place. Fear filled his face and a smile returned to Saint Olga's face, a semi crazed smile that was what for whatever came next.

It was quite the fight indeed and Medeia watched as Olga not only held her own but managed to defeat her foe in the end. She had done remarkably well and the Warlord was proud of her mentee for having achieved her objective or almost anyway. The angel had not expected to have to intervene herself and yet in the end, Saint Olga had offered the final kill to her. A noble gesture indeed and the dark mage believed that it would be rather rude of her not to accept her guild mate’s most gracious offer. She despised the fool with a passion for believing in the church and even more so that he would wield their powers in order to fight. It was disgusting in the eyes of the Guild Mistress and she would make sure that he would know it before his death.

Medeia began to walk towards the group, her form changing as she walked, her skin becoming paler, her hair and eyes turning a deeper shade of purple and a pair of wings of the same colour sprouting from her back. This was the weaker of her two angelic forms but the power that radiated from her would certainly be enough to scare any opponent of hers, regardless of it being a minor one. Any spell that she cast was lethal and just the lightest touch of her magical power could change the foundations of the Earth. That was the level that Medeia had reached, one that so few ever did so and rarer still for those who followed the dark path.

His face turned as pale as her body and he desperately tried to escape from the grip of the skeletons to no avail. There was no escape and as she reached the group, offering a sly smile to her mentee for her good work beforehand, she would create a vicious whip with her powers and utter, looking down at him. “If you would not mind, dear skeletons, could you please turn him over?” Assuming that Olga’s summons listened to her, Medeia would spin her whip around and then swing it towards the Paladin, the result being that the long piece of dark magic would wrap around his large wings. Her whip was of course horrible to the touch and his screams would soon start as the burning material touched him, resulting in marks of her dark flames to scorch his body.

That was only the foreplay though and as she took a step back and took a tighter grip on her whip, she would say. “Those killed by my magic will find no rest and you will spend the rest of time wallowing in the pits of Hell. The devil awaits you.”

With that said, she would pull, using her immense strength to wrench at his wings. His screams would increase in tone as they were yanked from his body and with one last horrible tearing sound, they would rip off of him completely, killing the fool instantly and bringing an end to his pathetic life. She took more pleasure from it than she had expected and as her whip once more turned to nothingness, a smile would return.

Olga had performed admirably and their job was done.
