Eons ago, the four elements spontaneously combined into a race of curious magical creatures called a Elemenies, which is short for elemental genies. Also eons ago, a powerful proto-mage managed to trick the poor creatures into signing contracts and thus enslaved the poor Elemenies for all of time. Their homes are now exotic glass bottles with matching caps to keep them trapped in style. Whoever comes into possession of a Elemenie bottle is now the proud owner of a real, live genie that can grant you wishes!
Since there are an unknown amount of Elemenie bottles out in Earthland, the individual appearance, gender, and personality of the one contained within each bottle is as varied as any other humanoid race. Essentially it’s like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get! However, one personality trait common to all Elemenies is their fear of violence and other scary things. They are absolute cowards. It makes them utterly useless in combat and PvP situations.
Name: You Ain’t Never Hadda Friend Like Me
Description: Yes, this Elemenie uses their adept control over the four main elements to create pretty much anything the user asks for. Unlike other genies from tales of old, they can grant unlimited wishes to those who think to spend a wish on such a thing, but they still cannot kill or bring people back to life ... not because of a contract, but because they’re scaredy cats. Warning: Be careful what you wish for! Every action has an equal consequence. Also, Elemenies have been trapped in bottles for a very long time, so there’s a high chance they will misunderstand what you want. Any wish affecting other players or their NPCs in any way will require OOC permission from that player.

Using these special spirit crystals, you and your friends can walk on another plane of existence! With enough intense meditation, anyone holding these blessed stones can enter a trance and project their spirit out of their body in the natural realm into the spirit realm. Once there, you can explore and meet exciting spirits! You’ll meet spirits of all types; past lives, spirit guardians, ancient wise souls, terrifying menaces. You can commune with them as long as you’d like, but make sure your bodies are somewhere safe. Time may pass faster in the spirit realm, but spending a lot of time will leave you vulnerable in the real world. And I don’t think I need to tell you what happens if you die in the spirit world.
Name: The Pondering
Description: By taking at least one of these spirit stones in hand, a few moments of quiet meditation can open a whole new world to the user and their allies. Walking among the spirits has many benefits and just as many risks, but it’s always an adventure. The physical bodies left behind will become covered in glowing markings while you’re in the spirit world, and if the glowing continues upon your return, you may have brought back a passenger in your body, so be careful of that [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC].

Darkings are tiny sentient creatures of pure darkness. Their bodies are a near jelly-like consistency, able to twist and flatten and shift themselves into nearly any shape, though their natural state consists of a large, bulbous head that tapers off into a thin tail. In general, they are very curious and friendly creatures, but each Darking has their own distinctive personality as much as any human being. While Darkings all look exactly the same as other Darkings, they took it upon themselves to find some small way to help people tell them apart by things as simple as, for example, wearing a leaf for a hat, ensuring that each one truly displays a unique sense of individuality. Generally, they communicate with non-Darkings via silent body language, but it is not unheard of for some of them to learn how to speak out loud, if in simple words and small, broken sentences.
That being said, all Darkings are connected to one another through their bond in the dark magic that created them. Centuries ago, Emperor Marcellus Cyprias commissioned the creation of darkings from one of his most powerful mages, for the intention of using them to spy on the enemy nations that he was plotting war against. The small creatures made easy spies as they effortlessly blended into the shadows and made virtually no noise as they moved, and through them Marcellus was able to observe his enemies for quite some time in order to stay ahead of them.
However, Marcellus was not kind to the Darkings, who were gentle in nature despite being creatures of pure darkness, and eventually they rebelled against him and aided the other nations instead, causing the Emperor to lose his campaign of conquest. Since the Darkings share a hive mind, despite their individual personalities, it was quite easy for them to instantly communicate with one another and come to a unanimous decision to free themselves of tyranny practically overnight. Now, they simply like to wander the world and take in its wonders, often pairing up with people that they feel a special connection to along the way.
Name: Darkness Mirror
Description: All Darkings are able to communicate with other Darkings telepathically, no matter how far apart they are from one another. Not only that, but through their magical connection with each other, they are able to use their bodies to allow people to communicate through them, sometimes directly. They can do this by shifting their somewhat amorphous bodies into plate-like mirrors of darkness that reflect the surroundings of other Darkings they are actively connected to, allowing the user to see and hear the world from the perspective of the Darking on the other side of the connection, and even communicate easily with any other person that also is in possession of a Darking companion.
